Your one takes a little too many elements from his KH2 Outfit for my liking, but is good nonetheless.

The new outfit is the bomb! Yours too! But I still don't know if I prefer Luminous engine Sora or Unreal Engine Sora...I like them both but Unreal Sora is more unique or whatever, while Luminous Sora looks like he's more detailed and looks like the Sora we see in CGI cutscenes. Anyway, yeah I like both outfits x)

Your new design is very neat and adds more color. Now we have Sora's prominent colors of red,black,yellow,and blue. You add more color to the mix.

Gee ya dont think? Personally I feel as though the official design doesnt have enough contrast at all and does not flow. He even said last night that he was rushed and forced to redesign him last minute, he originally wanted to keep the KH2 outfit.

He doesnt make the model.. He just designs the characters, which he (in my opinion) did a horrendous job in doing so, is that so wrong that I think that?

right but the model still has to be made, so it can't really be a last minute design in any impactful way

I really like yours, I feel the more bold colors bring it together better than the usage of the similar greys and blacks, making it more bold. Little details like the white outlining on the lower portion of his top (what even is that? A vest?) Where I assume a pocket is jut give a little more life to it color wise and brightens up an otherwise moody outfit thst struggles with a lack of color. It's the same repeating colors, which, though they are suplimintary, create a sort of blandness to me. I like the blue inner shirt, I feel it ties in with the white and black very well. I do dislike some of the more KH2 design points (like changing the pants back to chaps...) but I feel the color usage is far better than the official. The black just makes all the pieces look like one overall piece, no texture or anything to give it a right shake up.

 

I do feel the removal of the black with the (what I assume is) play texture on the collar was unnecessary and the removal of the brass furnashings to be a mistake, the hood being changed to pure white was a mistake (had you kept the red and placed a decent sized white/warming grey line separating them it would have looked better) I think the yellow on the sleeves should have either been kept red or had a red "break" in the center (maybe a dark red (think like almost blackish red) kingdom crownnear the curve of the shoulder and then the yellow stripe to give it a bit of a break up of texture but still keeping it nearly black would mean it's just noticible, but not BAM in your face) and I feel if you took the red from the original and had it with yellow line and made it look more like it's stitching it would have given some more visual texture to the design.

 

 

I highly prefer it over the standard, but that's how I would have approached it myself.

Looks nice but I probably prefer the original version better. Black and red (and blue) are my thing.

It's nice, but it does not show who Sora fully becomes and it seems to give the impression that he fully has not learned everything yet. I mean, it is very nice, but I would say symbolically, Sora seems to not have fully bloomed yet. Do not get me wrong, you did a nice job; I think what we saw in the trailer would fit more properly.

It's good and all, but it actually makes me appreciate the new design more now. Those colors you put in kind of clash. Also, now that I've a closer look, the buttons on Sora's jacket and red dots are pretty sweet!
