Ven983 490 Posted June 15, 2015 Well if this is true, SE finally gave in and realized that this will be an instant money maker. I am more excited to see fan reaction videos to the news than I am about the news itself.

Forever 3,550 Posted June 15, 2015 I can't believe it! They would have to recreate ALL OF FFVII!!! The gameplay would have to be changed! VOICES WOULD HAVE TO BE ADDED! SEPHIROTH WOULD HAVE TO BE ADDED TO SEPHIROTH!!!! *KeybladeLordSora.exe has stopped working* Lmao.
sagman12PC 280 Posted June 15, 2015 If this is really going to happen then square enix will win E3 this year. This is just huge. If they show off KH3 gameplay and an FF7 remake in the same conference, i think my heart will stop lol
Setrex 1,031 Posted June 15, 2015 The article is nothing but a shamful clickbait article with no source to why they think it is coming. Siliconera have slowly become a joke in the last few months with their clickbaity headlines. All they are doing is getting some of that precious E3 traffic to their site. I'll believe that a FF7 remake is on the way when SE themselves announce it and even then I won't care, mainly because FF7 fans are an arrogant bunch and I don't think they deserve a remake. It literally cannot live up to the hype and there are better Final Fantasy games.
Oshamu 52 Posted June 15, 2015 I would skip FFVII remake as it was the worst Final Fantasy yet.

Elast0 147 Posted June 15, 2015 (edited) Where did Siliconera get this information? I won't believe it until I see it myself and neither should anyone else. Edited June 15, 2015 by Elast0
hatok 6,413 Posted June 15, 2015 guys come on, E3 does this stuff all the time, it's not confirmed last year IGN insisted The Last Guardian is canceled, with no source this is the season of click bait 2 Oli and Sendou Aichi reacted to this

juma086 263 Posted June 15, 2015 I've been using Siliconera for years, and they haven't failed me yet. They are very reliable. This site, Novacrystallis, and Siliconera are my trinity for gaming news. I trust them.

J. Severe 1,137 Posted June 15, 2015 I've used Siliconera for years and they're not known to put up click-baity stuff... but this is the FFVII remake. Shenmue 3/Last Guardian level stuff. if it turns out to be legit, this E3 is gonna be legendary

sagman12PC 280 Posted June 15, 2015 To add to what i said before, the possible release date for this would be in 2017 since it coincides with the 20th year anniversary of Final Fantasy 7. If this is really a PS4 exclusive then it will shoot sales up 10 fold. I also believe Square Enix should bundle in a demo of the FF7 remake with FFXV to sell more copies of FFXV like they did with Type-0. Its an amazing marketing strategy

Its an amazing marketing strategy ...ff7 doesn't have that kind of draw it sold over ten million units, but that's really not a huge number, and FF as a brand has declined in value since then
Shulk 8,623 Posted June 16, 2015 Eh, not saying anything on it until we get an official confirmation. I won't be watching Square's stream anyway since it overlaps with Nintendo's, but I guess I'll keep an eye out to see if this is actually happening. It'd make up for that horrible reveal of the PC port last year. Maybe they will change Aerith infamous lines. This is a great news for ff7 fans It's been changed ever since the PC port was made...
