Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted June 19, 2015 (Horrendously sorry about my late response in like. I'll try to keep up from this point on, though I apologize if I'll be absent next week whilst on vacation.) There was a great amount of commotion upon the deportation of the boats headed to Camp Rosewater. There typically was, or at least every year that Marina has attended as a counselor. What's more is that she anticipated it. Seeing the future had its pros and cons. The young counselor made her way through the crowd and over toward her accomplice, Sickle. "He'll be fine," she reassured, offering him yet another ice pack. "I'll try to calm the group down so you don't have too many people hovering here." With that Marina rose and waved her arms at the others. "Please, everyone, try to take it easy. This boy just teleported and banged himself up pretty good. Let's give him some breathing room and not overwhelm him, okay? Thank you!" The young woman tucked a lock of silver hair behind her ear, smiling at all the campers. It was always a joyous thing to meet new souls gifted--or, rather, cursed--with psychic abilities, and had she wished she'd discovered the camp in her youth. She made her way through the crowd and took a seat by Sakaku. She watched him tentatively a moment before sighing. "Please, if I may give you some advice"--she bit her lip, eyes downcast--"change your ways. I don't want to interfere, and I can't change the future, but I worry if you continue to steal and move about life at your current pace. It could harm you one day, perhaps sooner than you know." Cam1949 21 Posted June 19, 2015 Sakaku heard the woman's voice and turned to her, but when she finished speaking up, he smirked giving her a stare that would kill a person if they could saying, "It's a bit late for that I am sorry to say... Anyway I didn't need advice from someone who is not born of noble blood such as myself." He turned away from her and continued looking outside then turned back to her and asked her a question, "How do you even know all this... Can you see the future?" 'Even if she can she can't stop me from doing what needs to be done to the family that betrayed me.' Looking at his hands and almost like grabbing the air he turns his hands into fists like he doesn't want anyone to steal the air from him.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted June 19, 2015 Roza crossed her arms at the commotion. She couldn't help but to give a glance at Shakaku. Even as she was an only child of a rich household she had never called anyone a commoner, that was just plain rude. But then again, there could've been worse things to be called than commoner. Really. "Are we all really going to make a big fuss over that?" Roza asked, kind of annoyed. Out of all the ways the trip could've started, this has been quite troublesome. The teleporting camper, the guy with the commoner comment. Could things get any worse? She better not ask, otherwise they could. She kept her hands inside her messenger bag, shuffling the cards inside as she then pulled one out of the deck and stared at it. She groaned. It was the tarot card of the devil. Great. This was only going to become much more fun. "Whatever happens, social status or not, we're all in this camp for a reason, right? Cause we can't control our powers for **** and we are most likely alone in our own communities. So technically, we're ALL losers, just in one way or another." Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted June 20, 2015 Kasumi pondered for a moment....being called "commoner" wasn't as bad as it could get, regardless of how insulting it is. But even so, they're all equal in their disposition here. "Let's hope the rest of our time there isn't so bad..." She then thought of her own powers, holding a hand up and producing a small and short flame, just so she didn't burn anything. She was lucky having parents who loved her no matter what, but she still needed this trip. The benefit of being with others like her being one reason. She closed her fist, extinguishing the flame before anyone complained and relaxed, waiting until they arrive. "I wonder if there's another Pyrokinetic..." Cam1949 21 Posted June 21, 2015 Sakaku looked towards the small light emitting from the persons' hand and went wide eyed, but immediately turned away to hide his interest in the girl. He looked down at his hands again and stood up, "I'm a pyrokinetic as well, and anyone can do that move too, watch..." Sakaku said as he went to the middle aisle of the boat, and held out his hand to emit a small flame like her. Sadly since he never practiced he emitted a small flame but soon exploded in his hands knocking him back due to the force of the shock wave. Hitting his back so hard against the ship that blood came out of his mouth. Sakaku slowly stood up grabbing his side, he spit some blood out of his mouth and limped back to his seat. He sat back down and felt like cry but, he was unsure of what crying was, not once in his life did he cry so he was unsure how to do it.
Firo_Procheniezio 71 Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) 'Oh brother ... Do i just ask to get employed here as a medic or something.' He thought to himself. Again he pulled out the water bottle this time putting in some sort of yellow powder. Then he closed it and shook it a little so the water got a yellowish tone. Now he gave it to Sakaku and said "Drink it slowly and in small sips. Should you try to show off again i swear to god ..." He halted there. He also had this demonic aura about as if he was intent on killing. Soon that was suppressed. What was he their mother or something. Again the time he spent in the slums made him act on impulse. Drake then sat down again assuming his previous relaxed position hands behind his head. 'Goddamn it why do i always take care of everyone.' He thought to himself then looked at his hands. This incident actually made him want to use his power as well but that was a temptation he was used to resisting for a while now. They should be arriving soon enough doe. Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted June 21, 2015 Kasumi was surprised, but soon relieved as Drake came to Sakaku's aid, noting how helpful he has been just for these past few minutes, or hours, she forgets how long. "Well, that answers my question...he has no idea how to control it even slightly...or even his own snobby nature. Noble doesn't work for him" She thought to herself. She sighed. "This is going to be an interesting Summer, that's for sure." She said aloud. "I just hope by the end of it all, we can all get along....or not. Your choice in the end." She stated, knowing that things would get quite....mental at some point. Her practice of her Pyrokinesis in High School had certainly helped her control her power, to avoid incidents such as Sakaku's explosion, but to truly control it, she needed Camp Rosewater. She wasn't arrogant enough to see otherwise, not like some people here....
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted June 21, 2015 Sickle looked over to Kasumi with a smile. At least there was some respectful reasonable campers. "My name is August Sickle. Everyone just calls me Sickle. It's a pleasure to meet you." Suddenly, the boy woke up and appeared to be more than fine. Marina approached him as well. Sickle was always find of Marina, and always appreciated her company. She really lit his day up. But sadly, this didn't last for long because Sakaku wanted to be a show off. Sickle could already tell the boy was going to be a tough one. And already there was an accident and the boy was sent back spitting out blood. Sickle went right over to Sakaku and supported him on the seat. This was going to be a very long summer. Once the boats have arrived and everyone had got to the island, Sickle immediately had Sakaku taken over to the infirmary briefly as well as Satchel to make sure they were okay. The made a bee line straight to his cabin to see who he had as campers that year. He looked over to his neighboring cabin, knowing that Marina was going to be his neighbor that year. As he looked over the list, Sickle closed his eyes as he trased his fingers over the list to see images of each boy in his mind. "Hm... Drake, Yuki, Tabitha... Satchel... Sakaku...." That was going to be an interesting group. He already met three of his boys in the boat. With a small chuckle and a shake of his head, Sickle leaned against his bunk in the cabin. There were three sets of bunk beds, each with a top and bottom bunk. Meanwhile Tabitha was already in line to sign in. He watched as the kids ahead of him were admitted. As soon as he was first in line, he had to forfeited all of his technology over. He was going to see if he could manage to sneak in an MP3 player, but the woman at the stand knew he was trying to sneak it in and he ended up having to give up the MP3 player anyway. He received a blue wrist band, blue t-shirt, and a purple arrowhead necklace. "You're Team Blue." The lady said with a very unamused expression. "Again." Tabitha said with a small smile as he took his things and stood to the side. He was on the Blue Team every year.
Cam1949 21 Posted June 22, 2015 When Sakaku was given the water bottle by Drake he didn't want it, but before he could decline he heard the threat that Drake gave him and felt the aura and accepted it reluctantly. He did as Drake told him taking small sips of the yellow colored water and thought to himself, 'I hate this but... I can't kill my family without this camp.' As he finished drinking the water they arrived at the camp. He was forced to go to the infirmary to get healed up, he got bandaged up and put into a bed to rest. He didn't waste anytime sneaking out of that place, he may have been hurt but this camp was important to him. He went to the desk to get signed in and the most important thing he got was the purple arrowhead necklace, he put it on right away and ran off to start practicing his power and getting it under control. Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted June 22, 2015 Kasumi smiled at Sickle. "August Sickle....I'm Kasumi Rin Takahashi, pleasure to meet you too." She doubted she'll be seeing him as much however as they would probably separate the genders into teams, at least, that's what she remembered what she was told. "Heh...Boys v.s Girls....the never-ending contest." She thought to herself as they approached the island that held the camp they were seeking. Already she knew things wouldn't be as smooth with people like Sakaku around or others with a darker agenda in regards to learning how to use their abilities....hopefully those desires and motivations would fade with time.....she didn't want to hear about a mass murdering psychic who had attended Camp Rosewater.... When they finally arrived, Kasumi wasted no time signing in, being given a Purple Arrowhead necklace and being assigned to Red Team, being given a Red Wristband. She politely bowed to the lady in charge of this after assuring her that she had bought no electronics with her, as she knew it would be pointless. After passing, she headed off to meet with a Female Counsellor called Marina, like she was instructed to do.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted June 22, 2015 Roza stepped out of the boat, pulling her baggage behind her. She looked around almost in disappointment. Well, it was summer camp. There wasn't much to expect except for camp. Muddy, most likely bugs here and there, cabins, the humidity. Oh dear goodness, this was going to be quite the year. She walked up to the registry, signing in and given a purple arrowhead and a red band, to which she got both on. The arrowhead suddenly made her feel lightheaded. As if something heavy had been pulled off her shoulders. It made her feel good, but at the same time it felt weird. Maybe it was because it helped suppress her abilities. She could use this kind of thing when being out on events, having to worry more about what was happening around her than any particular ghost that happened to be haunting by. She hummed in annoyance over the fact that she had to hand over all electronics. But that didn't matter much. She didn't need electronics. She could live without them. Just leave her with her divining items and she should be fine. She walked over to Marina, the one in charge of the girls, and stood by with the rest of the girls, looking around. "(Well...at least I'm not rooming with any of the crazy guys from the boat.)"
Firo_Procheniezio 71 Posted June 23, 2015 Drake finished up the stuff on the boat and left for registration. (not before using ash to crush the mini radio). The registry went smoothly and joy of joys he got the one who overreacts and the one he wanted to outright kill. Still he went through the procedure and got the necklace and armband. On his way he immediately felt a change in the temperature close by which meant one thing pyrokinesis. Now normally he would say : "i don't care." and leave but something in his head said: "help the poor guy out." he went with the normal response and left towards the cabin. The arrowhead didn't seem to have much of an effect on him but regardless he kept it on. The armband however was a bit annoying. He entered the cabin seemingly the first aside from Sickle. He walked down and threw his bag on the bottom bunk closest to the window. "Hey Sick. (nickname assigned to sickle) Tell me something. These things limit or just control our powers?" He finally spoke in a sighing tone as if he was exhaling for a long time. "Also might wanna check on Sakaku." As he said that he stared at the bunk above pondering something. Now gazing upwards he stretched his hand upwards and started gathering ash. In a matter moments there was enough for him to shape a Night table above his bead out of hardened ash. On said place he placed the tool box he carried around holding on to the first aid in case ... Well i case a repeat happens.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted June 24, 2015 Tabitha was sort of wandering around after he got his items. Despite going to the camp for a while now, it felt like a brand new place every year. He walked around a few of the areas such as the main hangout where all the shops such as sack shops and gift shops, as well as the areas were everyone played games such as carpet ball and wall ball. He even passed by the main auditorium where some events were held time to time. As Tabitha walked through the more quiet area of the camp where the forest was, Tabitha smelt fire. Right after he saw Sakaku practicing his Pyrokinesis. Tabitha smiled and approached the boy. "Hey." He said with a small wave. "I'm Tabitha. Eager to get better?" His voice had a tiny hint of a British accent. Meanwhile Sickle was fixing his items and his bed right when Drake came in. He didn't really mind being called Sick; if anything he actually liked the nickname. He looked over to Drake's arrowhead and chuckled. "They're supposed to help you control your powers. Everyone says that it suppresses it though. Most campers hate wearing it so they try to take it off as much as they can. Me personally I think it's stupid that you guys have to wear them. They only want you to wear it so you won't do anything stupid. If anything just make sure you wear it when you're in the main area or in the auditorium. As long as you don't burn the cabin down I'm okay if you decide not to wear it in here. Don't tell anyone I gave you guys permission though." His eyes narrowed when Drake mentioned Sakaku. Already Sickle could tell the boy was going to be a handful. But hey, that was part of his job. "What's he doing?"
Cam1949 21 Posted June 24, 2015 Sakaku freaked when he heard a voice behind him but when he turned around he was lucky enough to find out that it wasn't Sickle. After the boy greeted Sakaku and gave his name he told the boy, "I don't care who you are or anything like that, I don't acquaint myself with people like you so if you don't mind, I need to go back to practicing." With that he continued practicing making small flames and flames that looked like snakes around his body. Sakaku then wanted to see how complicated he could get with his abilities before over loading, so he took fireball and throw it in the air as hard as he could. He then took another fireball that was smaller and throw it directly at the other one, as they impacted with each other he compacted the explosion then throw his hands apart in order to make a bigger explosion. Sakaku continued to use his flames non-stop to get the feel of how they can be controlled.
Firo_Procheniezio 71 Posted June 25, 2015 "Well genius i'd think of it like this. A person who desperately wants to control his powers and probably doesn't know the concept of overuse. I'm thinking he went out for popcorn." Drake said sarcastically. It was getting on his nerves that so far he's been cleaning up others messes. Right now however there was also the thing about control junk going on so he somehow remembered what it was like when he still had pyrokinesis. It was indeed fun being called the god of fire by a group of morons wiling to go to the extreme but then again it was his own fault for doing that. "Actually let's just get this over with I have a bad feeling about power usage especially pyrokinesis." He finally sighed after a short pause. There was the initial grouchy face but eventualy he returned to the bored expression he had before. It's not like he is responsible for anyone. Also a big part of thepathokenesis was the whole temperature sensing thing. As logic dictated follow the trail and you'll get to him. The explosion outside made it painfully obvious where he was. He Walked up to the door like it was the most tedious thing in the world then turned to Sickle. "You coming?" That was the last thing Drake said before walking out towards where the explosion was earlier.
Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted June 26, 2015 Sammy wasted no time on wanting to get herself registered and becoming even more excited than she all ready was. Her youthful stature seemed to sparkle greatly as she waited in line. "Ooh! This is so exciting!", she shouted to nobody in particular. Once at the front of the line, she signed herself in and received her red band and purple arrowhead. "Ooh! This is pretty!", she said, admiring the arrowhead as she walked to join the other girls. Obviously, she was one of the youngest, and didn't know what to expect in this environment. She walked up to Roza with an innocent smile. "Soooo,", she asked. "Have you been here before? It looks nice so far! Oh! I never got your name! My name's Sammy!", she introduced.
