Joel softly grumbled at the hidden man's response.

"Yes. O-Of course I'm a man. Why do you ask?..."

Joel saw as the frost retraced and the ground, so he looked up to see another man, not much older than him. How oddly dressed he was, like some kind of self-proclaimed superhero that always hides in the darkness. What did the symbol on his jacket mean? It was all a mystery. But, he couldn't just stand there and wonder, he had to stay on his guard, not matter what the other proclaimed.

"I figured she'd be one...", Joel responded, giving the other man. Joel could just feel the coldness strike his soul as the hidden men spoke. "I was lucky not to die."

Joel pulled his umbrella closer to himself and looked down at the wet concrete shyly. "Yeah. I guess I'm okay. I-I just get scared easily...", he admitted. He then slowly turned his head to the other, raising an eyebrow in confusion. "Who are you and why did you trail me?"

Meanwhile, in the main plaza of the city, the riot was starting to brew and it showed no signs of stopping. Espers and beasts of all varieties clashed together in what seemed like a battle to the death. Shouting, yelling, screaming and chanting could be heard. This time, however, the participants of the riot took things more extremely. Fires blazed on, electricity sparked. There were even roars, the screams of banshee's, and screeching. The mix of esper and beast weren't only fighting with each other now, but also the police, SWAT, and the Beast Control. The main motivation was to get the government's attention for all of the woe and suffering the murder victims had as well as the inequality. Some espers and beasts even spread out to make their ways to 'The Wall', and the main office of the higher officials, who just stood there by the windows and watched the carnage from their 20-story high building.

Randir eyed the young boy closely, seeing if she had left a mark on him at all. He was clean, apart from the rainwater.

He pointed at him slightly as he spoke. "Because a man must prove himself one in order to be known as a man. Otherwise, they are merely a boy."

"But you are indeed lucky. She was getting interested in you....that freak. She disgraces all beasts and even her own race." He spoke angrily, but still calm. A quiet rage so to speak.

"I have many names. Whichever ones you've heard, you may choose to call me." He said, making note of his reputation to see if it clicks in Joel's head.

He sighed, slightly in relief. "I am just glad you're safe. If she hadn't left....." He shakes his head. "Let us not indulge that thought for now. Give me that card, it may prove more useful to me than you. Unless you think it could help for you to keep it." He said, offering his right hand to potentially receive it.

Joel could see the masked esper observing him, causing him to shrink a little and step away a bit. Using his free hand, the sonokinetic unconsciously placed it on the left side of his own neck, even though it was covered by his scarf. He gave the slightly older man a worried look. After realizing what his own hand did, he eyes widened and he quickly pulled it away.

"Ahem. P-Prove myself? Tch... All I've proven so far in life is that I'm a total wimp. I don't really know how I can prove myself. I guess I'm out of luck, by your logic...", he responded, rubbing his neck again. The rest of the words that came out of the man made Joel cringe. "Yeah, right? Glad she's gone..."

Then, the man asked for Lilith's card. Joel still had the small card in the hand with the crucifix, and he looked down at it once again.

"W-Well, I do honestly think it will be more useful to someone like you. If you're after her...", Joel nervously handed the icy man the card. "Then, here you go." He repositioned his umbrella a bit, just to keep it from slipping out of his shaky hands. "A-And, I think I've heard of you. You must be the 'Blue Kobra'.", he realized. "I-I'd... never thought I'd meet someone like you.", he admitted. "So, i-if you can, take that card to Detective Mors. I'm sure you've heard of him. Detective Caesar Mors? You could probably him in his case as well, if you want.", Joel said shyly. "W-Well, I guess I should get going.", he said, twirling his umbrella around slightly. "Be careful out here. Goodbye."

With that, he started to walk back towards his dorm near the university and the outskirts of the city, where the forest was.

Meanwhile, inside the 20th story of the higher government building, an ominous shadow still watched from a window as the riot raged on. Even though this figure was in the dark, what they could be seen wearing was some kind of purple suit. They placed there hand on the window, and the other under the windowsill, where a small button was located.

"Hm-mm... How typical of you all. Again with the fighting. Well, if you beasts can't get yourselves under control, we will. I don't want to do this, but it's for your own good." The figure pressed the button under the windowsill. "Time to let the dogs out again. Fight beast with beast."

The ground began to shake all throughout the city, and from the plaza stretched a large hole in the ground. The hole glowed with some kind of pinkish light. The riots stopped what they were doing to stare at the things coming from the ground. Slithering out of the hole looked to be dogs. Not just any ordinary dogs. These ones had pitch-black fur that seemed to drip off of their bodies like ink, and their eyes a bright illuminating crimson. They looked similar to the breed of a doberman, but slightly bigger. They were the infamous hell-hounds known as black dogs.  In five groups of seven, the dogs simultaneously let out a thunderous roar before they hopped out of the hole and started spreading around the plaza, violently attacking any beast it could see. Some of the espers tried to stop the dogs, but that only angered the hell-hounds more, causing them to be more varied with their attacks. Such an ironic weapon from the government.

As soon as Lilith heard the roar from the hell hounds, she slammed her front door. Locked it tight, and licked the windows, covered the windows up. She made sure it looked like nobody was ever here.

Lilting, truthfully was rather scared.

Those hell hounds killed people like her. The government hated the beast.

However...they probably have figured out who and what she was...

~Tyler Everson~ Tyler laughed at the thought of being a pet.

"Nah, I couldn't  be a pet. A friend, sure! but Pet... I don't think so, haha." Ty listened to Silas explain who he was and what he did. Silas seemed to be an interesting person- more so than most people he had met. Maybe it was a good thing he followed the beast. He took a look at his notes that he drew.

"You want these?" He asked, pushing them forward. "I was going to use them to improve my acting, but... I think after this experience, it's going to be impossible to forget." He looked around the forest again, happy that he was brought here. Tyler heard Silas mention something about this feeling more like home than his actual home.   "I wish I could call this place home. Real home is... pretty boring." Tyler dropped himself onto the ground, resting his head against a tree. "You know, this was supposed to be a good week. I was supposed to preform the greatest show in my lifetime, perhaps find myself working better off with money... Hell, tomorrow is even my Eighteenth Birthday! And nothing is going right..." He took a breathe, allowing himself to calm down. He reached into his pocket, only to realize the chocolate was gone. "So yeah. I'm glad you took me on this ride. It's really nice seeing the things I hadn't seen before. I have to go home soon, though." Ty pushed himself off the ground again, meeting with Silas face to face. "Hmm.. Maybe you could come by tomorrow? It's pretty quiet, and I don't think anyone but me- and maybe some showfolk- will be there. If you want to drop by, I'd be okay with that." Tyler gave the beast a grin, hoping to hear a positive reply.   "You want to go?"

Silas smiled brightly at the invitation. "I would love to!"He said. He was about to mention something else until he heard the roar. His head perked up and his eyes widened in horror, only to then narrow sharply and growl much like the beast he was. He got his arm around the kid for a few seconds, and hushed him before he could complain. Moments later they heard the sounds of running footsteps. Beasts, running to the furthest part of the city to get away from the Hellhounds. "What is going on?" Silas asked. One of them turned to answer. "The Hellhounds have been released! They're after the beasts!" With that, the young woman kept running. SIlas growled even louder, hearing the running footsteps. "Tyler, you better get going home...I don't think you want to get involved in this." Silas said as he saw around d two Hellhounds come their way. Silas jumped onto his fours, growling as his eyes glow yellow and his body transformed once more into the beast he was. The Hellhound paused before launching itself at Silas, who attacked back just as quick, refusing to allow it near the others. He howled, making sure to keep the fight a distance away from Tyler.

The thundering roar that seemed to shake the entire city woke the black panther from her nap in the rain. The screaming and howls that followed after made Artemis shoot up from her spot in the tree. What...? A pack of hell hounds suddenly entered the woods, passing by the tree she was on. Some stopped and looked up at her with crimson eyes while others sniffed her things and began to rip the backpack to shreds.

Well, there goes my clothes.

The threatening gazes and growls of the hell hounds made her roar in response, pouncing on the closest one and latching her maw on its open neck. With a furious growl, Artemis ripped it off and turned to another before it could attack her open spot. Her fur bristled and a threatening hiss escaped her as the hell hound barked along with the other three that began to surround her.

Randir patted the worried boy on the shoulder. "It is never too late to prove yourself, young one." He said reassuringly, remembering when he had to prove himself in his lifetime, when he finally made his name known.

"Let's just hope she doesn't come looking for you again." He said, not sounding worried, but there was concern in the chilly voice. He received the card and put it in his pocket. "Thank you. And...well, I don't really trust Governmental or Authoritative figures but, Caesar seems trustworthy. I respect him even if he doesn't for me." He spoke with a little melancholy in his voice, noting why he started his acts in the first place.

He heard the boy announce his departure, giving a little smile behind his mask as he spoke. "All right. You take care of yourself too. If you need my help, look for my chill." He said as the boy left.

Before he could ponder more or go home, he heard the deafeningly loud roar of the one beast he held absolute hatred for...

"The Hellhounds.....won't this damn government ever learn??" He said with much contempt in his voice as he set off for the sound, heading near the forest first.

Werewolf versus Hellhound. It could be considered an even fight. Except that Hellhounds were trained to fight until death. One of them was going to have to come out alive. Silas had to make sure it was him. The two giant dogs walked around in circles against each other. Silas kept glancing at Tyler, growling for him to run away. The last thing he wanted was the kid to witness such a violent event. If there was one thing werewolves were known for, it was for their carnage of their fights. Silas was no different. The Hellhound attacked, and Silas attacked just a second after. The two clashed in the middle as the fight began. It was hell. The two raised themselves like lions, clawing at each other as they tried to bite each other's faces off. Their teeth as sharp as knives cutting each other's skin without remorse, the taste of blood only urging them to fight further. The two went on, back and forth like this for about two minutes before Silas was able to tackle the Hellhound to the ground, pinning it down as they started to try to bite against each other. Silas clawed at the Hellhound with all of his might. The Hellhound tackled Silas and the two rolled on the ground, the two growling like the beasts they were. The Hellhound bit down on Silas, pulling on his skin and ripping part of it. Silas howled in pain as he clawed at the Hellhound's face, clawing into it's eye and half the face. Blood dripped onto the ground, splashing beneath their feet as it mixed with mud. Silas absolutely hated the Hellhounds, and right now, he was going to make sure at least one of them was going down. Silas howled as he attacked the Hellhound again, biting down on its skin as scratches and bite marks were left behind. There was not much to hide. They were beasts. They were only fighting to survive, as violent as it was.

Randir could hear the sounds of savage beasts fighting to the bitter end getting louder as he approached the forest. He hid behind trees to mask his approach, taking great care not to be discovered.

"Kill the Hellhound. Even if it's opponent is crazy, kill the Hellhound." He thought to himself, he hated these Hellhounds for they lacked any kind of soul or remorse.

He stealthily approached the battle and was quite surprised by what he saw:

An Esper was watching from the sidelines as a Werewolf and Hellhound were engaged in mortal combat, already looking significantly battle damaged but both were unrelenting and out for each others blood.

He recognized the werewolf, he had seen him before, so he knew who he was dealing with: A sane beast. So he focused on the Hellhound and as soon as an opening was shown, he emerged from the shadows, charged up and threw an Ice Ball right at the Hellhound.

Oh boy, oh boy. The dark blue haired girl ran furiously through the crowds...in the opposite direction. She was following the hellhounds, the majority of them. And the ones she followed all ended up in the forest. "Man..." She stopped at the edge just before the trees devoured her in its oblivion of greenery. Now though...it was all dark with occasional crimson eyes peeking through. An angry roar erupted through the trees, instantly grabbing the pyro's attention. To her right.

That way! Go, go, go. Vladimir broke out in a run, listening intently to any other indication. Her feet stomped through mud and wet grass, crunching leaves until finally, furious barks led her to her destination. There, she found a black panther, bigger than any she's ever seen go up against five...four hell hounds now. A Beast.

-----

Artemis was getting furious. This was taking forever! She got rid of one, another popped up. Get rid of two, more come in. She roared her frustration rearing up on her hind legs and stomped down on two of the dark dogs. This is ridiculous! All of a sudden, three of them came at her at once jumping onto her ripping flesh, gnawing on anything they could get their teeth on. She growled in pain and swatted one away, jumping this way and that, to get the others off.

A blinding flash intruded her vision and a second fell off her back. What the...? She turned, only to see a girl who's arms were covered in flames. Is she...attacking them? The girl shrugged, cautious,"I know they're Hell hounds but...my fire can be a distraction? I'm, I'm not here to hur- hurt you." The girl flicked her wrist aiming at Artemis's back to prove her point where another Hell hound fell, only to regroup with the others, circling around. The panther huffed and morphed into something not quite panther and not quite human. Her in between form just in time to block off another attack and slam it against a tree. "Thanks..."

From the closet door came a slight movement as the doorknob slowly turned. The roar of hell hounds drowned out the steps of the malicious creature that roamed the floor. It's eyes widened madly as it found it's prey, reaching for the girl's hips. Breathlessly, he whispered into her ear. "Welcome home, master..."

A higher official on the 20th floor of the main government building still watched the violence unfold in the plaza below, since the building was located in the middle of the area. Like a spectator at an old Colosseum ring. On of the officials secretaries stood enter the room and proceeded to question their higher powers.

"Excuse me,", the secretary asked softly. "Should we stop the dogs now..."

The spectator didn't turn to their secretary, for they just continued to watch from the window in the shadows.

'No, not just yet.", the official responded.

Meanwhile, Joel's walking was interrupted by the thunderous roar of the 'black dogs'. Because of his enhanced hearing, the sound made his ears feel like they were about to burst. It was so intense that it made him drop his umbrella to cover his ears. His body cringed at the events unfolding. He could hear howling, screaming and growling coming from the plaza. The sonokinetic whimpered in fear, and bolted out of the area and towards the dorms, leaving behind his umbrella and crucifix out of fear. The rain soaked him as he ran for his life; as if something were chasing him. Surely he'd gone mad with fear, running from things that weren't there. Joel managed to make his way up the top floor of the apartments, all the while, local dogs barked up a storm.

Joel took his key out of his pocket and frantically open the door, running inside. He quickly slammed the door behind him and rested his back against the door, trying to catch his breathe. He looked over to his window and forgot he left if open. He figured he could get back home in time before the rain really poured, but he was wrong.

"Crap...", the young man mumbled to himself as he tiredly walked over to his open window. "Oh, Joel, you stupid little coward.", he insulted himself. "You just can't do anything productive tonight. First, you leave your things in the streets from fear, then you don't act your age, and you left your window open??" He slowly closed his wet window with a sigh. "I'm so pathetic..."

"Holy s***!!" Lilith jumped as soon as Alan grabbed onto her.

Well that just scared her.

"Alan." She sighed, turning to her incubus friend.

"I'm not your master. In any way." She said seriously.

"So don't call me that." Lilith added, staring at him.

"The Hell Hounds are out again, and I killed someone...again." she muttered the last part.

"They should have been happy they died in a state of pleasure, not torn to shreds like some of my victims." She exclaimed.

"Also there is some stuff I took in my purse," Lilith pointed to the table, "I found a working pocket watch there, so that's cool".

The incubus known as Alan smiled darkly, amused at his efforts. Eliciting a response from his friend was one of his greatest sources of pleasures. "Are you sure you arne't camera?" he asked, ignoring the seriousness of the  situation, "because every time I look at you, I simply smile." Scrutinizing the table, he found nothing of interest. "Do they know you're here with me?"

-Nevada Hasashi-

Within the forests of the city lied a temple. Within this temple was the clan known as Ketsurysū, who resided there as it was a peaceful location most nights, allowing them to meditate and train in peace and quiet. The clan consisted of beings of many varieties; Espers, Humans and many different species of beast, who all worked toward a common purpose and goal. One of these people was a Cambion. a Hybrid consisting of Human and Demon DNA and was the only one of her kind in the Clan, yet aside from therapy for her rough childhood was not given special treatment, as they did not discriminate nor did they prefer a species over another. She was happy with this and right now...was meditating.

This person...was named Nevada Hasashi.

She could not relax for much longer however, for she along with the rest of the clan heard the roars of the Hellhounds. The savage, mindless and soulless beasts that the inefficient and cowardly government would sic upon rioters and protesters as a means of shutting them up and avoiding the issue. Nevada hated them, so she equipped her weapons, fixed her clothing a bit and ran out into the forest. The Clan Leader did not mind this however, as she was efficient in the killing of the Hellhounds and protection of innocent beasts.

She soon found herself amongst a sizeable battle within the forest between Hellhounds, Beasts and some Espers who also hated this practice, along with a certain Vigilante she knew as "Sub-Zero", doing a sneak attack upon one that was attacking a Werewolf. She left them to it as she looked for any innocent people who may have been struggling with a Hellhound, hoping to at least lessen the causalities and try to send a message to the government that this would work no longer. Nevada didn't have to look for long, as a Vampiric Beast was having some severe difficulty with a particularly aggressive Hellhound, which she soon decided should die and pulled out her Kunai and threw it right at the soulless beast with a shout of "Get over here!", stabbing it to death with the Kunai in a surprise attack and saving the Vampire.

"Get outta here. These Hellhounds don't know when to quit you know, so you better skedaddle before the cows come home." She told the Vampire as she readied her Katana. They ran away, thanking her as they did.

"All right...let's hope these pooches are the only things I am dealing with tonight. Then again, a fight with a tougher opponent every now and then does make life a little more interesting..." She said to herself before launching herself at another Hellhound, this would be her task for the night for a while.

Randir could hear the sounds of savage beasts fighting to the bitter end getting louder as he approached the forest. He hid behind trees to mask his approach, taking great care not to be discovered.

The Hellhound was too busy with Silas to notice the other presence. The Ice Ball hit the Hellhound straight on, surely breaking a bone or two as its skin burn due to the cold. It roared in pain. Silas took the chance. He tackled the Hellhound and proceeded to bite the life out of the Hellhound. He bit down on it, bitting and ripping away flesh, throwing it to the side like wrapper off a present, revealing muscle and everything that was underneath the skin. Silas was relentless. He ripped off the Hellhound's eyes before grabbing it by the neck and shaking it violently. The Hellhound struggled, which only made Silas become even more violent. Silas shook the Hellhound like a ragdoll by the neck, slamming its body on the floor over and over against the floor, dragging it against the dirt and diving it into the mud to drown it, only to slam it against the nearby tree, blood splattering everywhere. Eventually Silas managed to pin half of the body down against the ground before pulling on its head by the neck. All they could hear was a loud SNAP as the spinal bone that lead to the Hellhound's head broke, detaching from where it once stood. The Hellhound died instantly, the body currently useless. Silas shook it around. He needed to make sure it was dead. Silas gave one more pull, and with enough effort, ripped the Hellhound's head off the rest of its body. Blood now bathed Silas as he dropped the pieces of the body, what was left of it. He breathed heavily, his eyes glowing in anger. He took one look at Tyler, and instantly regretted it. He whimpered backing away. "(Don't...don't look at me...)" He thought. He hated being seen like this. It was when he was like this that made people hate him and his species in the first place. Because it was instinct to survive and fight back. His body ached. He had bite and slash marks all over his body. He was drenched in blood both his and the Hellhound's along with mud. He took steps back, limping away. He only then took notice of the other Esper that had used the ice ball to help him. He looked away from him as well. This would be a long night.

After the Ice ball landed, Randir allowed the Werewolf to take the chance he gave and finish the Hellhound off. He conjured a sword made out of ice and attacked another nearby Hellhound, slicing at its skin, leaving many deep cuts that began to freeze, leaving cold burns on the hellish beast. It charged for him and he managed to block its incoming bite with the Ice Blade horizontally, letting it take it from his grasp as he then grabbed the head of the creature and started freezing its head while it lashed out, frantically swiping its claws in an effort to escape. It was useless and he smashed the beasts head on a nearby tree, breaking the top of its head off, leaving it barely alive. Without hesitation, he froze the creatures back rapidly and excessively and landed a hard blow to the ice, blowing off the skin on it's back, exposing its spine. He then gripped the spine and pulled his hands in opposite directions of each other, the spine cracked and buckled until snapping clean in half. He then pressed the monster over his head and pulled the now weakened halves of the beast apart, leaving the bottom and top halves at either side of himself.

He sighed with a cold mist as he turned to face the werewolf he had saved, admiring his handiwork, yet concerned about his sudden sadness. He had seen this Lycan before and approached him calmly without being afraid and spoke to him. "Are you all right? Are you hurt?"

"Alan." Lilith paused.

"Haven't you gotten over flirting with me?" she asked calmly.

"Also...they do not know that you are with me."

"However...if I know the government well enough, they will find us. So we must be prepared." Lilith said seriously.

Silas couldn't help but to give a sarcastic roll of the eyes when he was asked if he was alright, but he did appreciate his concern. He gave a small nod, even though he bled. He looked up at the sky as the moon as covered by the clouds. Silas took this chance and shook his head, his body transforming back into his human form. As he did, he looked worse than he did in his wolf form. The marks and injuries were more preeminent. He looked like a mess. Sitting on the ground. He looked up at the Esper with a weary smile, finally being able to speak. "Just a normal day for a beast. Wouldn't be the first time having to deal with the Hellhounds, and I'm sure it won't be the last." Silas said, not even minding his lack of clothing. His body just hurt too much to even bother to think to wear pants. They would hurt anyways. "I thank you, however. Without you I would have not found a chance to take it down. You're very nice to me for an Esper." Silas said. He had seen this guy before. Unlike any other people related to the law, he was actually a pretty nice guy. He chuckled to himself and looked over at Tyler. "I would like it if you would escort him home, though. I worry that he will be attacked in the haze of panic." Silas said, licking down the mud off his injuries. He would have to wash them up when he got home before they got infected. No way he was going to a hospital. Beasts that went in there usually were taken by the police and never seen again. He didn't want to become part of that statistic. Silas waved his hand playfully. "Sorry you had to witness that mess. I'll head home after I regain my energy."

Randir gave a quick sigh of relief, still concerned due to the lycans injuries. He observed his change back to human form to talk, he did not mind his nakedness, for one thing he focused on his task at hand and another, gender was not an issue to him nor did he feel embarrassed or really ever feel such in his lifetime after childhood.

"Indeed. Beasts unfortunately have it more rough than us Espers. I only hope it won't be like that forever." He said softly. He patted the nude man's shoulder, accepting his gratitude. "You are very welcome. I won't leave anyone to die, especially not a beast. I would hope you would do the same for me someday, but I know I must earn your trust, Werewolf." He spoke with respect for the beast. He then looked over at the boy he mentioned, nodding to Silas. "I will take the boy home. It isn't safe for him out here amongst us."

He waved his hand dismissively. "It is quite all right. I have seen worse, believe me." He said somewhat playfully. He began to head for the boy, but stopped and turned back briefly. "Never got your name." He said to the Werewolf.

~Ty Everson~ He took a look at Silas, who had ran towards the battle against the Hellhounds. Tyler started running after him, hoping that he could help in some way, only to be denied by the one he wanted to help. Ty took a deep breathe, crossed his arms, and imagined himself home.

Ah, yes, home... where he'd have a nice pot of Earl Grey started, and some kind of bird roasting in the oven... yes, he could practically smell it now. He'd be resting in his home, on his favorite chair by the fireplace. It's funny, how a house that was once filled with so much sadness has been replaced with a feeling of relaxation and peace. It may have been lonely, but at least it was calm. Of course, he could still hear the Riots from inside, but he learned  to sleep over it. As the full image appeared in his head, Ty felt the environment change around him. A new air, a new smell... He opened his eyes. Home.~Amelia 'Amy' Ashby~ Amelia Ashby was used to some times alone. After all, her parents would leave her to go fetch food for the family- sometimes they'd hunt, other times they would go shop at the markets. After all, Kitsune did have a large variety of meals they could pick from. Most of it being poultry or fish, as that seemed the most delicious to them! Yes, she was used to lonelyness... but she may never recover from the loneliness she felt today. Another Riot breakout... Amy always worried when the riots would occur when her parents left for town, but today, she knew that her worrying hadn't just been false paranoia.

These black hounds, these hounds from hell... what did they do to them? Did they tear them to shreds and leave the remains lying on the ground, or did they consume every bit of fur, bone, and meat in their body? Amelia wasn't sure which one made her felt more uneasy. Amy peered out her burrow, into the forest. It seemed pretty quiet, although she knew differently. Kitsune were able to distinguished the sound of other Kitsune from miles away- that's how she knew what had happened to her parents. The screams... they were unforgettable. She wanted to wait until the riots were over before she again left the hole, but she couldn't help her curiosity at times. She began walking, and soon, she was met with the forest entrance.

Silas tilted his head. "Silas Fester. I'm a mechanic." With that, Silas ran off with is inhuman speed. He knew the outskirts like the back of his hand by this point. He made his way across, climbing the buildings as he usually did, picking up the bag he had left earlier and dashing home. He had moved out from his parent's house long ago, and now lived in one of those two story houses that were a bit squished (darnit I can't remember the name). He jumped through one of his open windows, dropping his bag and making his way to the shower, where he sat and rested against the floor as the water washed away the mud and blood off him. The injuries stung. But it felt nice to be able to rest under the warm shower. He could feel less icky, and then he'd just bandage up and he would feel all better by the next morning. He just hoped that no Hellhounds or police ended up knocking down on his door, otherwise things would get messy again. He had Tyler to hope for though. He had given the kid his number, and hopefully he would call for him if he wasn't terrified enough to just forget about him all together. Silas purred, resting against the tub that also served as a shower, letting the water massage his back and injuries. He would fall asleep in there for the night, tuning out the rest of the world around him.

-Randir Mori-

Randir smiled behind his mask, taking note of his name before he took off to recover from his injuries. "A werewolf mechanic...we are truly equal inside...I just hope the city sees it soon..." He pondered before turning to where Tyler was...but he wasn't there anymore. "What? But he was just--wait...perhaps he was an Esper who could teleport....I can only ho--" He was interrupted by a charging Hellhound, who knocked him down. He managed to grab its paws and keep it just far away enough to prevent it from biting him. He was in a pretty tight spot however, as the beasts size limited his options.

Before he could think about his next action, the Hellhound seized up, as he could see a insanely fast cut travel down the body of the soulless abomination. A few seconds later, the cut took effect and it spilt down the middle, falling each side of the Cryomancer, revealing who had saved him.

"A Ketsurysū Ninja...?"

-Nevada Hashashi-

After she had cut up the beast, who was the one she had attacked earlier, she offered a hand to the Vigilante she recognized, who took it without hesitation after noting who she was. "You look a little beat up there, Frosty. You cool?" She said in jest but also concern to the masked Esper.

They then stood back-to-back as they could see more Hellhounds approaching, almost like their minds were one and the same with their thought process, they prepared an attack plan.

The shadowy spectator for the top simply shook their head at the display below.

"Hm-mm. My, my.~ Murders are common in this city; it's their own fault for causing them. Don't come crying to us, or this might happen again.~ What we are doing isn't murder; what we are doing is order. You beasts want to just start another war, huh? You all want to escape? You want to throw us down. Hmm-mm, how funny. If any of you leave, your sickness' will spread to the rest of the world, causing more chaos." But, the spectator was interrupted by witnessing multiple slaying of their hounds, causing them to gasp in distress. Nobody has ever attempted to harm the hellhounds until now. They quickly pressed the button on the windowsill yet again, cause the dogs, both dead and alive, to sink back down into the ground and into the fiery underworld down below. "You brutes! You troublemakers! You... monsters!", the spectator shouted from the closed window. "You do this to our dogs, do ya'?! Oh ho ho, you've all got another thing coming! Oh... Just you all wait until the next full moon.", they said. The night of the full moon was typically the night most beasts would come out, either to run about, host bonfires in the woods, or to just be themselves without it being a bad excuse. The next full moon was this Friday night, and today was a Wednesday. "You see what happens when you mess with the precious order..."

Somewhere away from the violence, Joel sat down near his desk and wrote in his journal about the events that unraveled this day. After finishing his writing, he rubbed his eyes in exhaustion. He sat up from his chair and went to his small, cheap keyboard. He had learned a new song on it that relaxed himself as well as relive his loneliness. Sure, the music he played at night annoyed his neighbors sometimes, but he didn't really care. His neighbors always kept him up with their loud pet dogs anyways. It also doesn't help that loud howling amongst other odd noises come from the outskirts of the city as well as the forest. He ignored all of his distressing thoughts, and proceeded to play his song, sort of hoping someone else could feel relaxed from this terrible night...

Somehow.
