To be fair I sort of see this happening with most games. While there still are commercials for games, the majority of gamers find out information about the game online and so it isn't necessary for them to release a televised trailer. I mean whenever I hear about a new Kingdom Hearts game it's always from here first. As for new coming players, they also have definite ways of finding out about the series other then televised commercials. I think the mode by which games are advertised is changing but not disappearing especially with TV declining rapidly in recent years in lieu of streaming services and internet usage.

Dream Drop had commercials. I saw it on ABC prime time. It also depends on the area that you live in. They tend not to appear in the South, but the higher the population of the demographic the more you will find it.

I could have sworn there were commercials for 2.5. I remember seeing them, I should given that the game only came out 6 and a half months ago.

There was a Spanish commercial, and a Japanese commercial. No English commercial. It seems like the last commercial KH had in the US was for Dream Drop Distance.
