• A Race Against Time (Sora & Friends have to defeat Xehanort within a certain time frame).
• A Romance (Sora and Kairi grow closer to each other while helping the others defeat Xehanort).
• An All-Out-Action (Sora & Friends have to battle Heartless, Nobodies, and many others as they rush around from world to world to fight Xehanort and his Organization).
• A Time-Travel (Sora & Friends travel backwards in time to keep Xehanort from forming the Organization).

I want a story that's not afraid to take its time, letting the characters deal with issues and problems as they come up and develop their characters in the process. The problems with BBS and DDD stem from trying to speed through everything, and I think KH3 can be salvaged simply by letting the plot and characters steep.

you just listed twenty six characters

if there were seven hours of cutscenes, that's a little over sixteen minutes per character

and the fact is a good chunk of those minutes are going to be used by Disney worlds

honestly if you wanted a series that would flesh out characters, probably should've went with one that didn't have about a billion

This, this, a million times this. I don't honestly care what kind of story we get, I just want to be able to enjoy it. I haven't been able to enjoy a KH game's storyline in far too long.

I want KH3 to have action, drama and romance, especially the drama part. I want, for example, that even though Sora was okay with him failing and Riku succeeding, I want him to secretly regret his failure and angered by Xehanort's interference of the exam.

 

But what I want the most out of KH3 is that I want its story to be well-written (and I trust Nomura completely with this as he has made every KH story amazing, in my opinion) and to be so amazing that I want it to feel like that this is the very FINAL game of the series. Yes, it's not going to be the last one, but I want to feel like it is and I'm ready for anything that Nomura has up his sleeves.

I never said it sucked either (I mean, I do think that, but I didn't say it). Regardless of how we feel about the storyline as a whole though, we both want KH3 to be good- who doesn't- and I do agree, I'd like more focus on characters, and relationships between characters. CoM, KH2 and Re:Coded were all decently good about that and I want KH3 to be the same

I want the Kingdom Hearts 3 story to be a mix of the Race Against Time and All-Out-Battle storylines, with some of the Romance storyline on the side.

 

Here's what I think will happen in KH3:

 

Xehanort will be searching for a 13th vessel, and the Guardians will be searching for their missing friends. Whoever gets their goal first will ensue the battle, and therefore the Keyblade War, whether the other guy is ready or not. So both sides are trying to gather their troops before the other guy does.

 

With this in mind, Xehanort decides to play dirty with some guerrilla warfare and sends his heartless and nobodies after Sora and co. The guardians have to deal with the enemies' lackeys constantly at their doorstep and in other worlds. But because this is taking their eyes off the real enemy, they decide to play just as dirty and try to impair the twelve out of thirteen vessels on-sight, along with locking away any worlds they can from Xehanort's influence.

 

With everything piling up on top of Sora and Kairi, the two start to stress out a little bit, and turn to---who else?---each other to abide in. Because of this, their relationship slowly starts to grow stronger and stronger as they weather the storms of their insane life.

 

 

It's a little complicated, I know. But this is Kingdom Hearts we're talking about.
