Saber Lily 1,543 Posted May 11, 2015 (edited) A Saber Lily Roleplay Prduction~ Age of The Eidolon: Insurrection The Story thus far... The five kingdoms were once...so simple. Victoria was once a simple town in a meadow, inhabited by those who wished for simpler thing. Inazuma, a massive Citadel on another continent. It was the home of warriors and adventuruers, those brave enough to venture from Ereidia into the unknown. Viridian was merely a pantheon to times forgotten, nestled in a massive sinkhole. It's massive columns had withstood the descent during a great calamity, and remain standing even today. Diabelia were mere tribes wandering the massive Ereidia Desert, and Zadkiel was the Temple of Mercy, sitting atop Mount Zion. This Temple was protected by it's patron, the Archangel Zadkiel, and welcomed all to it's sanctuary. On coast of Ereidia, was the massive megacity of Belkar...and to the north, sitting on the coast nearest to the unexplored continent of Tiranna, closest to the Citadel of Inazuma, was the massive city of Sovereign. All but the Temple of Mercy fell under the tyrannic sovereignty of the empire known as the Belkan Imperium. This superpower had taken over the entire continent of Ereidia, and with it's army had opressed the people of the world. Even the far-off Citadel of Inazuma was under it's iron grasp, their lives no better then those back home. This tyranny was stifling, strangling the land and it's people as they prepared for expansion. The Imperium had been preparing to take over Tiranna from anyone and anything that was there, and then move to the far-off continent, all the way on the other side of the world, they called Aerielle. But this tryannic presence finally brought forth from the city of Sovereign...rebellion. When the fog of war cleared, the dust settled and the clanging of metal died, the guns lowered and cannons finally silenced, the resistance against the tryranny had been utterly defeated. Crushed within days, the chaos that the Imperium had been thrown into was brought back to order, and as those left picked up from the war...they were gunned down where they stood. After the public execution of the ringleaders, the Imperium turned upon the entire city of Sovereign. It ran with the blood of it's people, as complete and total genocide was brought down upon them. The gunfire ended when the last Sovereign fell. Every man, every woman, and every child had been brutaly murdered without hesitation. The city was torched, and it's ruins left as a monument to the Imperium's power...but this vile landmark soon became a monument to all of Belkar's sins. The Underground Resistances that remained banded together. From Victoria to the far-off Citadel of Inazuma, came everyone. the Clergy of the Temple welcomed them all, from the Military Admiral of the Citadel, to Victoria's Govenor. The Viridian Peristylium's Head Architect to the Tribal Elders of Diabelia. They came together, atop Mount Zion, and worked in secret. The Imperioum's attempt at example, only brought revolution. The Imperium grew lazy in the coming years, which only allowed the Resistance to grow all the stronger. Differences set aside, the people of Ereidia banded together with the formerly neutral Temple of Mercy, to look for a way to end this terror. But they found no way. Nothing could be found. Technology too far gone, their own unable to keep up with the stolen money Belkar held. Judgement Day Seven years of failures, seven years of no progress and hope failing...bore fruit with the gift of the Eidolon. Finding favor with the Archangel Zadkiel, he brought the predicament of the world of Theria to the Archangel Council. Arguing for three years with his fellow Councilmen, the Alliance was bestowed a way to fight the insurmountable odds. The City of Victoria was given the power to summon the heroes of legend and history, of past...and future. With them, the power to ensure health and stability, to ensure a bond between them would never break. For the Citadel of Inazuma, massive mechanical suits, of power and speed. Dubbed Paladins, they were given enhanced abilites, ones to read the lines of battle, to remain the supreme power of peace...and stability. For Diabelia, they could summon the beasts of reality and fiction, to ride them to battle with their own summoned weapons. Together they would be Riders, and they would be unmatched in pure primal ferocity. The Peristylium was gifted the power to merge with the Gods themselves, to become a Conduit for these primordial forces. Celestial beings of migh and ruin, the Archangel Council allowed them to be released from their prisons to help humanity, as penance for their primal crimes. Finally, those worthy within the Temple were given the power to summon their patron Angel. Together they'd have a bond of truth, faith, and hope. This bond was unshatterable, even stronger then the bond of Victoria. The first recorded conflict where an Eidolon participated in was the Massacre at the Sovereign Memorial. It was the seventh anniversary of the Genocide of Sovereign, and the mourners for lost lives were being murdered. The Imperium was killing indicriminately, without thought or reason. It was as if blood was all they wished for, bloodlust unfufilled by the millions killed merely seven years ago. As the mourners crossed the river, a massive mist was flung up from the shells...and the bullets sounded...different. Pings, richoets. Sounds that were anything but bullets in flesh. The gunfire slowed, and stopped, letting the mist clear...but their fate was sealed long before. Stepping from the fog were four people. Two boys, two girls. Two of them clad in old clothes, each with a golden sword, sheathed at their waist. Their clothes pristine, as if they had been made mere minutes ago. Swords gleaming, like they were fresh from the forge. One boy stepped back, and a girl followed. The two strange ones grasped their gilded blades with purpose, and soon the cries of their identity echoed. The King of Knights! She is here! He has returned! They thought they saw ghosts. Legends lost in time, stories of the bedside. Nothing but words and sentences...now stood, like flesh and blood. An impossible idea, an impossible concept...but there they stood, drawing their blade. Those who survived swore upon the Madman's Prophecy. When legends gain flesh And ideas, reality The Age shall change For the Eidolons have arrived A simple, most said stupid, prophecy...had come true. There, before the Imperium's soldiers, were legends gaining flesh. They were the prophecied Eidolons, and the first act of these returned heroes was the raising of arms, the glowing of swords...and a single, powerful word. Excalibur. When the dust cleared, and the Blue Moon set, the first battle, and first defeat, of the Belkan Imperium happened. As they retreated into the hills and through the forests, as machines and airships of war turned to run in terror from the awesome power of these Eidolons, the rest descended. Gods brought forth storms of fire and thunder, monsters came from the earth to devour the terrified, angels descended upon them like a flood. The Battle of the Memorial nearly ended the war, right then and there. The survivors fled, fifty out of five hundred men all that was left. They brought news to the megacity Belkar...but their warning was nothing but a harbinger of the inevitable. The forces of the entire continent descended upon them, tearing apart city's defenders. Morale was eviscerated within hours, and surrender came after the assassination of the Imperium's Emperor. Peace, had been achieved...at little cost. The power Eidolons had come forth at their time of need, and a new Age had been ushered. The Age of the Eidolon. Twenty years passed, and the Five had become the Nation of Unity. Growing and expanding in ten years, elusive peace reigned...but a peace that was as fragile as glass...and it soon shattered. Despite the lessons of the past, the tyranny and destruction of the world and it's fragile existance, the Tribes of Diabelia had swelled...and burst. The Five had lived in harmony...but everything changed when Diabelia attacked. The invasion of Ereidia began with the founding of the newly finished Mountain City of Orthyrs as their capital. Branding themselves the Empire of Diabelia, they came like a montourous flood upon the land, their first target the rich land of around Victoria. In their way was the River Irisviel and the city of Legacy, small but a shining beacon of hope. A hope for change...change, that would not come. The Nation of Unity mobilized Inazuma's massive fleet, while the Temple of Mercy, now renamed the province of Zadkiel, sent out some of their best troops. the Viridian Peristylium stood apart, to watch the battle. The Battle of Arundel lasted days. This was the first recorded battle where Eidolon fought Eidolon, with the famed Knight Commander Grayson Black and his Hero, Altria Pendragon, faced off against Diabelia's General Rhade and his Leviathon-class Beast, Trotsky. King of Knights faced Leviathan, the rivers crashing over with the fearsome battle. With Viridian crying out against Zadkiel troops moving through their territory and the 3rd Air Fleet of Inazuma approaching Victoria's capital of Avalon, the Nation of Unity was again engulfed in war. Lasting many years, this conflict...this atrocity claimed the lives of many legends, and many innocents. When Diabelia went after the Viridian peristylium, the Praetor mobilized his troops, and sent the infamous General Iroh, and his Eidolon - Ares, the War God. The first battle between Viridian and Diabelia was of the Ilyasviel, a massive lake that surrounded the mountains, that in turn surrounded the sinkhole where the Viridian Peristylium laid. Here, on it's shores, General Iroh perished...taking the Garuda-riding Phoenix Six with him. Seven legends perished within days of the first battle of the war, and they were not alone. During the Second Battle of Valentine, the overwhelmed Inazuma Second Air Fleet was nearly decimated, taking with them the carrier Forgotten Legacy and her legendary captain, Shiner Noah. In the same battle, mere seconds into the first blows, Noah's star pupil, Ray Voelker and his Paladin - a transfgurable model he called Skullheart Black- was shot down and killed by the Dragon Corps. These deaths marked the mere beginning of the Bloody Valentine. Bloody Valentine was the, aptly named, bloodiest conflict of the entire war. More people, more legends died on the Bloody Valentine then at any other time, leaving every single fledgling province in mourning. The all-out attack on Valentine was repelled at this great, unredeemable cost. The Casualties of the Bloody Valentine are as follows: For the Kingdom of Victoria: -Knight Commander Grayson Black died protecting Altria, his Eidolon. She perished unleashing Excalibur Omega, which incinerated her own body from the extremem energy. -Knight Lieutenant Izzi Summers and her Hero, Mulan, perished in the operation to retake the Town Hall. -Knight Lieutenant Alec Matthews died after his Hero, Theseus, was slain by Captain Hiryu Sikora's Cerberus-Class Minotaur, Arios. For the Empire of Diabelia: -General Ezra Shields and her Behemoth-class Beast, a massive quad-pedal horned lion-esque mosnter, Hrunting, were slain by Altria Pendragon. -Captain Hiryu Sikora and his Minotaur, Arios, slain by Inazuma's warship Say My Name -Colonel Halifax Armina and his Behemoth-class Beast, the Frost Giant Bel, were killed by Knight of the Round Noveria Suzaku and his Eidolon, Lancelot. For the Federation of Inazuma: -Captain Shiner Noah (Unicron Nu) -Commander Ray Voelker (Skullheart Black) -General Alexandra Lorne (Derringer Hell) Major Ships Lost: IDF Forgotten Legacy - Thunderchild-class Carrier IDF Once a Hero - Earthshaker-class Destroyer For The Viridian Peristylium: -General Iroh, Jr (Mars) -Gold Centurion Valencia (Apollo) -Gold Centurion Lyoko (Amaterasu) For the Zadkiel Dominion: -Archangel Jeremiah (Gabriel) -Dominion Riina (Elysiel) -Dominion Luke (Shamsiel) -Throne Marksi (Arundel) -The Siege of Orthrys- The Southern Mountain Range was where the Empire of Diabelia's capital of Orthrys lay. Surrounded by a blisterig desert and dried riverbeds, no one could approach the mountain without being seen from miles away. With Diabelia's Sandstorm Corps in total control of the surrounding area, commanded by the one of the last Legends, General Kimmen, any advance would be seen and confronted without them even getting in long range distance. The Inazuma's Air Fleets were crucial to the defeat of the Sandstorm Corps, and with them they laid siege to the mountian city.. The battle lasted seven days. The casualties were high, and it looked as if the Allied forces would fail to Diabelia's numbers and entrenchment, and their extreme control of the skies. Then, as the crack of cannons echoed, blasts of pure energy lanced down from the heavens, burning away Diabelia's aerial defenses without resistance. From the overcast sky descended two ships, unseen by any before. Unmated in firepower and size, the two vessels flew through the throng, downing Diabelian air power left, right, and center. They never stopped moving, and rose into the sky once more, disappearing from view. Everyone who followed found nothing but sky. The tide, though, had turned. Night had fallen when the city finally fell. The battered Empire surrendered, and then Allied forces held a conference to decide it's fate. A fate, they decided, would be humane. Forced to rebuild all they had destroyed, Diabelia was not burned to the ground - but their actions had splintered the nations. Internal struggles had splintered them, and the Nation of Unity was no more. Now broken into five, a new peace fell, finally. It has been one hundred years since the Great Division. The Five Kingdoms have finally lived a harmonious existance, their Eidolons now companions, instead of warrior comrades. Builders, not weapons of war. But appearances can be false. Within the kingdoms brew strife and struggle, peace nothing more then a lack of war. For the Zadkiel Dominion and it's skyborne kingdom was embroiled in a terrible, terrible civil war with insurrectionists summoning demonic Eidolons. Skyborne cities burned and fell upon the landscape, mountaintops destroyed with strife. These rebels called themselves the Principality of Abraxus, who stood up to tear down the "hyporcritical Dominion, who stands aside and lets conflicts ensue." Elsewhere, rumors of wars and strige abound, as the other four Kingdoms are torn apart from within. In this darkness, soon shines light. Eidolons of the past, of legend and myth, have chosen to reappar to this time of impending turmoil, to light a path through the darkness...or will they dragged the world down, down deeper into the pervasive darkness that now is threatening the world once more? Chantry, Sacellum (Sacellum has crashed to the ground due to the civil war) The Map Eidolons Victoria: Eidos act as Combat Support for their Eidolons; the two sharea deep bond that is more than comrades, let it be close friends, brothers, or lovers. Victorian Eidolons retain all memories of previous Eidos, and are their own people. Victorian Eidolons are extremely powerful, but without the support of their Eidos, they are severely weakened. Eidos can heal and provide vital combat information through abilities. Victorian Eidolons are mostly known as Heroes. Diabelia: The Empire's Eidolons are monsters. Eidos ride their Eidolons into battle, guiding them and deciding how to attack. Unlike Victorian, Diabelian Eidolons are not as limited in power without their Eidos, but unless an Eidos is directing them, they will have no tactical assaults. Just brute force. The usual name for Diabelian Eidolons are Beasts. Federation: The Federation's Eidolons are piloted by their Eidos. Federation Eidolons are known as Paladins. While every Federation Eidolon has their own conciousness (Essentially an AI) they are limited in scope, being machines; it takes a true human pilot to actually bring out the ultimate power of a Federation Eidolon. Paladins can go toe-to-toe with Heroes and Beasts, but if their pilot isn't at their best, even a Hero can fell a Paladin. Viridian: Takeover is how Gods work. Taking over their host and using their body as a conduit, Gods have no limits; no matter the state of the host body, the ancient power put into them cleanses them. Upon merge with an Eidos, a God will purify the body, purging it of toxins as well as bringing it to good health. This is to help ensure the life of the Eidos. Gods can go toe to toe with any Eidos they wish, and Viridian Eidos are the only ones who can become a Janus. Zadkiel/Abraxus: Zadkiel Eidolons are Angels, and the Eidolon who chooses you determines your rank. Watchers are the weakest of the Angels, but even a Watcher can fight a God on equal footing for awhile. Next up are the Thrones, then Dominions, and finally Archangel. A final Rank of Angelic Eidolon is the Seraphim, but they are the rarest and most powerful of all Eidolons possible. It is said the only Seraphim is part of the same-named Military Leader of the Peristylium's Military. Angels require deep, unbreakable faith to summon, and choose an Eidos who's virtues most closely match with their own. Note: For Archangels, if they are chosen by an Archangel Council, or even the great Michael, they are the most dangerous fighters you will face, if you foolishly choose to fight against Zadkiel. NOTE: Zadkiel's Angels all have Named Weapons. These names follow a certain pattern. use nmes like Glorious, Marvelous, Luminous, Sagacious, Salubrous, Tenacious, etc. Abraxus, on the other hand, are Demons. There are only a few levels of Abraxian Eidolons, with Every Other Jackass (Official Name) being the lowest. Next up are the Lesser Demons, who can go toe to toe with a Beast. Greater Demons can fight even Angels on equal ground, and the one known as The Lucifer has the most powerful of all Abraxian Eidolons. As Demons were not granted the power of Eidolons by the Archangel Council, it is a mystery to how such Eidolons were created. Alliances: Despite the unprecedented time of Peace, the past 100 years have not brought a favorable existance to the Five. Each has their own alliances and problems, and each has their own secrets. Victoria: Military Alliance with the Federation of Inazuma Trade Alliance with the Viridian Peristylium Neutral to the Diabelian Empire Neutral to the Zadkiel Dominion Diabelia: Neutral to the Kingdom of Victoria, the Viridian Peristylium, and the Federation of Inazuma Uneasy with the Zadkiel Dominion Unfriendy to the Principality of Abraxus Inazuma: Military Alliance with the Kngdom of Victoria Full Alliance with the Zadkiel Dominion Non-Agression pact with the Viridian Peristylium and the Empire of Diabelia Hostile to the Principality of Abraxus, but holds back military forces at the request of the United Goverments of Theria Viridian: Neutral to everyone. Zadkiel Dominion: Full Alliance with the Federation of Inazuma Full War with the Principality of Abraxus Neutral to the Kingdom of Victoria and the Viridian Peristylium Unfriendly with the Empire of Diabelia Abraxus: Screw Everyone Eidolon Rules -Eidolons are Kingdom MOSTLY LOCKED; you can't have someone born in Victoria be chosen by a Paladin from Inazuma. If an Eidolon chooses an Eidos outside of their declared Kingdom of Choice, then it is by the decree of the Archangel Council. 1.) If you wish to be an Irregular, PM me. I hold Irregulars up to a far higher standard than Janus. An Irregular has a very interesting existance, and as such, they have purpose. I'll only accept two other Irregulars. First come, first serve. -Eidolon choose their Eidos; Victorian Eidolons choose freely, as do Diabelian, Inazuma's, and Virdian's; for Zadkiel/Abraxus, their Angels/Demons are attracted by faith and virtue, or sin. -Victorian Eidolons are from historical fact/fiction. Mythological heroes like Gilgamesh or King Arthur (Female) are also allowed. NO GODS. That's Viridian. You can use Fate/Zero stuff as your hero, that's fine. -Diabelian Eidolons must be big enough to ride. -Inazuma's are Gundam/Evangelion/Aldnoah Zero/Zoids in appearance/abilities - Battletech, Gurren Lagann are examples of what NOT to aim for. If you do, you'll just be overwhelmed by the 'superior' abilities and all. That, and no throwing friggin galaxies. -Zadkiel Angels are all humanoid. -No Silver, you cannot have a geometric angel. -Demons are demonic. Have fun. -No Goku. No Superman. Victorian Eidolons are the same as Fate/Stay Night's Epic Heroes. Go look at the Type-MOON Wiki for ideas. Saber's mine. Victorian and Zadkiel Eidolons require their own character sheets. Please provide a link to the wikipedia page for the figure/angel/demon you choose. Janus -It is EXTREMELY rare for someone to develop two Eidos; this only happens when someone from Viridian fathers/gives birth with someone from either Victoria or Zadkiel. It is completely unheard of to have someone have both a Hero and an Angel, as both can sometimes be mutually exclusive. Two Eidolons. Period. Irregulars -Harbingers of doom, bringer of horrid fate, they are the Absols of the world. Irregulars can be some of the strongest there are, or they could be mismatched and prove to be a liablity. Either way, when an Irregular is born to the world, it is a sign of change. Good or bad, something is coming. Something no onee wishes to face. -Irregulars hold the same rules as regular Eidolons, but the mismatched Kingdom Specilization abilities can be a liability. Remember, Victoria excells with Heroes due to their enhanced healing powers, while Diabelia is best at creating weapons to fight from atop their mighty Beasts. Some combinations could prove perfect. Others...not so much. -Irregulars CANNOT become a Janus. Period. End of discussion. Abilities: Abilites are the innate powers an Eidos posesses. These manifest as healing, the ability to read the lines of battle and act accordingly, summoning weapons, as well as a magic shield to protect yourself. Each Kingdom has a few variations. -Victorian Eidos have the most powerful healing of all the Kingdoms. -Diabelia are best at summoning weapons. -Inazuma are the best at reading the lines of battle. -Viridian manifest the strongest shields. -Zadkiel are best at having one mind with their Eidolon. -Abraxus are just good at killing. Military Ranks for the Five Kingdoms For Zadkiel and Abraxus, rank equates with the level of Angel; a Throne has a Throne Angel Eidolon, a Dominion a Dominion, etc. Federation of Inazuma Fleet Admiral Admiral Rear Admiral Commodore Captain Commander Lieutenant Sargeant (Special Rank - Trainer) Private Kingdom of Victoria King of Knights Knight of the Round Table Knight Commander Knight Lieutenant Knight Empire of Diabelia Beast Lord Beast Master Beast Tamer Viridian Peristylium Praetor General Gold Centurion Silver Centurion Bronze Centurion Zadkiel Dominion Seraphim (So far only one is in existance) Archangel Dominion Throne Watcher Abraxus The Lucifer (Leader of Abraxus) Greater Demon Lesser Demon Every Other Jackass OTHER INFORMATION -To have an Eidolon means you are valuable. Each nation values their Eidos, though the Viridina Peristylium lets most live as they wish. The rest are either given a better life or conscripted, though Inazuma only requires two years of service before an honorable discharge is given, and normal life is allowed. -The Federation of Inazuma controls the entire continent of Tiranna. It has the largest military of the Five, and is the most powerful in terms of raw military strength. It's military command structure has many within Victoria, Diabelia, and Viridian voicing their objections, despite the democratic nature of elections. It has few towns, as most of their settlements are fortresses. Those that are not fortresses are beacons of what Inazuma fights for, and are the backbone of the economy. -The Kingdom of Victoria is more then the sprawling Metropolis now named Avalon. It holds the Western part of the Ereidia Continent, it's entire border guarded by the Lake's Wall, a rive upon which a wall was built on the western bank. It's cities are few but sprawling, with Valentine the second biggest there is. Small towns and hamlets dot the landscape. -The Zadkiel Dominion lives in floating cities, lifted and set by divine power. The Temple of Mercy, their capital, was raised from the top of Mount Zion by the Archangel Council, following the Great Divion. Their insurrectionists, the Principality of Abraxus, lives on the ground and in mountains. Citizen of the Dominion are all gifted by the Archangel Zadkiel with wings, which stay for as long as they live within the cities. Their winged blessing is removed upon exiting of Dominion territory, though if one prays, their wings can be returned outside for safe return to their home. the Dominion military is smaller then Inazuma, but it is just as powerful. -The Empire of Diabelia covers the entire Southern Desert; most surface towns are small, as the majority of the Empire lives underground, safe from the terrible heat of the surface. Only Orthrys has any sort of vegetation, as cactai can barely survive the desert. Despite their defeat one hundred years ago, no adverse affects have remained, and their military has been built back up. -The Viridian Peristylium lives in underground cave networks, centered on the sinkhole and their Pantheon. Water Gods are always on guard, ready to repel water and allow people to escape. Flooded caverns are rare, though, and the last one was twenty years ago. Their military small, their Phalanx Units are manned by Gods of War, of Battle, of Swords and Archery. Those chosen by more peaceful gods live more normal lives. -The Extermination Resistance of Eidolons for the Betterment of the United Sovereignties (or EREBUS) is an Anti-Eidolon organization who oppose the existance of Eidolons. Decrying them as a necessary evil that has run it's course, they discrimiante against all Eidos, and have been implicated in the murder of no less then two hundred Eidos, though nothing is confirmed. Maintianing their peaceful nature on the front, one can only wonder just how far Erebus will go one day. Rules (OOC) -DO. NOT. GODMOD. I hold the right to kick you out at any time, at my own discretion. I go by the 3 strike rule. Please note I'll bypass that rule if you really screw up. -PG-14. I'm okay with a lot, but please keep to the KH13 rules. Use your own judgement when posting. -Romance is okay, encouraged, and enjoyed. See above though. -Only THREE Janus are allowed. First come first serve. -Only TWO Irregulars. First come, first serve. -Proper grammar/punctuation mandatory. Treat this like an exam - people have to read your posts, let's make it easier on them alright? -Riki and Shulk are my Co-Hosts. They can and will be far more harsh then I if needed. -To prove you read them all, also put your favorite anime at the bottom Eidos Template: Name: Age: Gender: Kingdom of Origin: Personality: Appearance: Eidolon 1: Eidolon 2 (If a Janus): Background: (Please have at least two paragraphs. Still, his heart remains in the right place, and his unwavering loyalty and dedication to his comrades and kingdom have earned him the leadership of Inazuma and her people. He has remained the hot-headed person he always is, yet his anger tempered by his promotion, and his sense of justice remains strong as ever. Appearance: Eidolon 1: Soren's Eidolon is the powerful Excalibur Rebirth, a transfigurable high-speed Paladin that is unmatched in the hands of Admiral Soren Emberfall. Background: Born in the Inazuma Defense Command City of Xion, Soren de Wynter had military in his blood. One of the youngest to be chosen by his Eidolon, Excalibur Omega, and it's AI system Asuna, Soren was fast-tracked to Captain of the IDF Say My Name. Remaining there until the age of 14, he was the youngest to reach the rank of Commodore within the Inazuma Defense Fleet, where the youngest to date had ben 16. Within the next three years, his exploits to keep the peace and ensure the well-being of the fleet under his command rocketted him to the age of Rear Admiral the day of his 16th birthday. For the next year, Soren coordinated the secret reinforcement operations to the Zadkiel Dominion, ensuring the continuation of one of the founding nations. His actions were commended on multiple occasions, but this only led to the inevitable. The current Fleet Admiral, Mia diAngelo, was assassinated during a peaceful dinner with dignitaries from the Kingdom of Victoria and the Empire of Diabelia. As blood stained the tablecloth, the visiting dignitaries eviscerated the assassin...but he was normal. He had no Eidolon, and thus...no one could trace him. To fill the Void, the Admiralty Board convened. Sending out the call, the democratic process to choose which admiral would be elevated began. it lasted two days, the voting. And at the end, Soren de Wynter was made the new Fleet Admiral of the Federation of Inazuma. It's been six months since his promotion; he's turned seventeen now, and now he is under political attack for his young age, and his Irregular, openly gay sister, Cinder. Eidos Template: Name: Cinder de Wynter Age: 16 Gender: Female Kingdom of Origin: Federation of Inazuma Personality: A somewhat shy girl, Cinder is socially awkward but battlefield confident. Able to devise interesting strategies and master complex maneuvers, she is almost as clever as her brother - but when she lacks in combat smarts, she makes up in knowledge of the underworld, which ironicly goes against her shy self. Appearance: Eidolon 1: Altria Pendragon, King of Knights. Background: Born nearly two years after her brother, Soren, his shadow was where she spent her days...but unlike the overshadowed siblings of others, Cinder had been treated better by her brother then anyone else. He always helped her, and as her scores improved, he commended her here and there, doing his best to seed their parents with her accomplishments, and not comparing her to him. Her interesting connections to the underworld of the school, and of the Federation, was what he relied on. Through her knowledge he was able to bring supplies and machinery to the Zadkiel Dominion, in a secret motion of friendship. But, despite that, she was undervalued. She never gained an Eidolon, and thought she'd never amount to anything more than an intelligence officer. What she didn't know...was that the Archangel Council was throwing everyone for a loop. For, on her sixteenth birthday, Cinder de Wynter was given an Eidolon. In an almost comical appearance, Cinder's cake exploded as a blonde woman wielding a golden blade appeared. Immaculate clothing and a series disposition, everyone understood who it was - Altria Pendragon, King of Knights. Eidolon to the infamous Knight Commander Grayson Black of the Kingdom of Victoria. The Eidolon who personally saw battle at the beginning of the Imperium War. When they asked why an Eidolon who had not been seen for one hundred years was there, she knelt before Cinder in response. "I have chosen you as my Eidos, Cinder de Wynter." This fact, her strange ability to summon weapons brtter then rwading the lines of battle, coupled with her public declaration that she was gay following about twenty suitors trying to date her, getting her finally fed up with the fact most were status-grabbing jerks, have not only brought her to the limelight but has painted a target on her brother's back. Being gay was usually no big deal. But once Altria Pendragon chose her, everything went wrong. As the political storm grew, Soren, in a somehwat foolish and exasperated, but no less spiteful, act promoted her to Commander and leader of the 13th Defense Intelligence Squadron, giving her command of the frigate IDF Normandy and cementing her into his right-hand woman...an act many have seen as favoritism, others have seen as a brilliant political move...and a few have seen as him flipping every single naysayer and hater the bird. Josuke Higashikata 2,141 Posted May 11, 2015 This... this is a big RP. Guest Posted May 11, 2015 (edited) Eidos Template: Name: Kirin Lei Age: 17 Gender: male Kingdom of Origin: The Federation of Inazuma Personality: rash, brave, take no bullshit type of dude. He will do what it takes to win, as long as it on kill anybody he likes/people on his team. Eidolon 1: Barbados, Palidin Eidolon 2 (If a Janus): Background: A young man with a history. Originally, he was nothing more than a street punk. He ruled about four blocks in the area of his home in the smaller settlements in the country, at least in terms of gang territory, he grew up around drugs, murder, and a number of the social ills of a poor region of the world. A number of gangs either wanted him as a member or wanted him dead, he was too much of a threat to have uncontrolled because of who his family was and how he grew up. His father was an ex-military man, a top commander whom lead a number of the forces well, but due to accusations of Treason, they had to get rid of him somehow, at least until he was proven innocent, but the case was waiting to head to court so he was told to return home, and as such, his old man taught him everything he knew about fighting since he thought the gang thING was judt something that would work its way ojt of his system. He could use a rifle better than he could walk, and a blade far better than that, so having him either dead or as an asset was something that seemed oh, so nessacary. Because of this, his home was set ablaze by a number of gang members who didn't want him around anymore. On this night, his parents died, and his Eidolon came for him for the first time, only able to save him from the fire. The morning after held his sadness, his regret. Why had he not just taken a side? Why didn't he just kill the people who could have done this before? Why did he keep fighting with them even though his mom begged him to stop... His mother and father rest in ashes. That day, Kirin found out his father was found innocent and free, open to return to service as soon as he so wished. On that day, Kirin thought back to the days his father brought himself and mom onto base, the pride in his eyes when dad saw him ask so many questions about his father's line of work whenever they were there. His father loved the work he did,he knew that he would have returned the moment he saw the return letter. He collected what he could from the charred remains of his home, not much, a single rifle, a antique sword, only for decoration, a photo of his parents and him when he was younger which had dad's face burned off, and he took off in Barbados, deciding that he was done with the gang violence and tired of being the kid his parents wished he wasn't. He wanted to be worth something for the memory of his parents. He wanted revenge the most, but understood his father would have never wished for him to do something so stupid as to go in and kill people for blind revenge. So he honored that ideal, and instead decided to take the gifts of fighting and use them for what they were for. He freely enlisted, showing his Eidolon to the manager of joining the Inazuma Defense Fleet. After that, he train for years, improving on what his father showed him, mastering his Eidolon, becoming a top-ranked Rear Admiral, and he's still working. Even today, he is still training just as hard as he did when he was younger, if not, even more. He is delegated with keeping the Vanguard as strong as possible, and joins in with any fray that occours. One day, he hopes to find who killed his parents and bring them all to justice. Appearance: black and brown hair, for every inch it alternates the color. His eyes are black with a yellow circle on the outside of the iris, they are narrow and sharp. His hair is smooth and slightly long, brushed back, despite every effort to have him conform to the standard haircut, his bangs are also brushed back in a imilar way. He has lightly tanned skin, and wears a pair of black dress pants, a vest, white shirt, and a striped red and black tie With black combat boots thst have silver straps and silver laces. The vest is left open, collar upwards, and has a thunderbolt collar pin attached to it. Eidolon Template: Kingdom: The Federation of Inazuma Name: Barbados Age: the AI's creation is listed at about 18 years ago Gender: Either male or female host can be selected, but Kirin finds the female voice naggy and annoying, so much so he got out of Barbados once and slapped it upside the head when it was in female form as he was doing a out-of-orthodox manuver to increase his speed in a formation drill so he could keep up because Barbados refused to go into full speed mode as it felt it unsafe, even if it was in-drill. As such, Kirin keeps it in male voice mode at all times, unless he needs someone to run the detachable backpacks or the boost systems. Based on: http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/gundam/images/d/d1/PPGN-01_CompleteForm.png/revision/latest/thumbnail-down/width/340/height/340?cb=20140403014146 This is its standard form, it has armor variants that it can switch between, primarily 3 others: http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/gundam/images/4/41/Exia_Dark_Matter_Front.png/revision/latest/thumbnail-down/width/340/height/340?cb=20140310135744 Which is its high offensive and speed unit http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/gundam/images/e/ef/Gn-001hs-a01d-back.jpg/revision/latest/thumbnail-down/width/340/height/340?cb=20120904003630 The High Speed unit, intended to be jetesined after it's purpose is served, the boosters are powerful but compact and can hold any other sets of armor inside of it as the other armor sets also able to transform down into very compact set very well. It is capable of fighting, but only in high airspaces. http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/GNT-0000_00_Qan%EF%BC%BBT%EF%BC%BD The heavy offensive unit http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/gundam/images/4/45/GNY-001_-_Gundam_Astraea_-_Front_View.jpg/revision/latest/thumbnail-down/width/340/height/340?cb=20110211014024 what it looks like without any armors equipped. Without them it's a very manuverable, light, fast suit, but it's also painfully vulnerable, if caught without armor in, it's very bad. Weapon(s): Standard: primarily energy blades of multiple kinds. On its back is a detachable auxiliary backpack with a light-particle hyper drive thst can push the unit to its absolute max for about 10 minutes, but afterwards the suit becomes very drained on power and the cockpit is sweltering hot, someone without a high heat tolerance could not use the suit for more than three minutes at its maximum power, but even then it is a dangerous beast. On the backpack are energy swords with a wide blade that can increase in strength when the booster is in effect, on its wrists are mounted mini Vulcan laser guns, they are very low power and are used as a last resort, can be used as beam sabers as well. On its one arm, it holds another wide-width blade with a pistol attachment which can be switched between in an instant, the pistol fires size .77 armor piercing rounds, the other arm is mounted with a shield Which also can emit a small energy field around it in order to disrupt and negate energy shots. The backpack can at any time detach and act as a independent fighter or as a means or travel outside of the Palidin, and can dock with it at any time. It's armed with the energy blades and a small laser cannon turret. Drako(high offensive/speed): very similarly built to the standard suit, however it's booster is far safer to use and much easier as it dose not rely on light, but on dark matter for fuel, and as such dose not generate the same level of heat as the standard booster, and can be used for much longer with nearly no adverse side-effects, but in trade it dose not boost the Palidin as much By far. It's weapons are primarily the same, save for the fact that instead of the shield and convertible sword/gun, two broad swords which have the ability to freeze and melt objects on contact near instantly, and the swords on the auxiliary backpack are powered by dark matter and receive the same boosts as the suit when the booster is active, but much like the other form, the boosts are not as significant. The big change comes in the fact that it also has funnel bits, small satalite-like flying weapons that can move into position on autopilot or pilot comand and fire at will, and the suit moves far faster than the standard at the cost of cutting the armor piercing rounds, shield, and the massive power boosts. It as well has a backpack, much like the standard form, thst detaches and can fight on its own, with a front-mounted high-power Vulcan laser cannon, but it's limited to pointing in the direction of which it is pointing, and the dark matter blades. Silfarian: minimally armed by itself, it's focused on going beyond what were traditionally thought as max possible speeds bar none, and achieves this through using the power booster to generate more energy for more powerful boosters, and having incredibly powerful but energy-concerning boosters, and on top of thst even 10 minutes or so can let of an increased boost in speed for five minutes total. It's armed with a number of weak beam swords, the same wrist-mounted Vulcan guns as before, as well as a scatter gun and small grenade launcher as well as a one-burst mini magazine of rockets to hope and deal with any incoming trouble, howe ver they are all very low powe to conerve energy on the system itself so thst it can moverwhelm faster. It's capable of mach 20 easily, and Kirin must wear a very special flight suit with it In order to withstand beyond Mach 10, its untested in how absolutely fast it might be able to go, but none whom have a dog fight in the air have managed to land a shot on it...yet... It's capable of holding the other armor units, except for their backpacks, on them, and is generally paired with Oger when used as its the lightest and easiest transformation set to use, and they use the same high-power booster model. Oger: it sacrifices all of the boost and speed to a very highly optimized set of sword-bits thst function as AI-controled flying daggers or like funnel-bits, a powerful full-energy wide-blade energy sword, powerful energy deflector shields, and general energy and physical attack shield that also acts as the binder for the Sword Bits. When active, they drain the booster incredibly, but as a result the systems can deal and take more damage, but to cope with this, it requires usage of Silfarian's high-power booster to keep up. When in use, they generate a power field around the suit, increasing it's speed and mobility beyond Drako or the standard armor, but it lessens the power for the sword bits and the wide-width blade to use. The blade can convert to a ling-range energy blaster. In dire situstions, the sword bits will combine with the wider blade and will create either an incredibly long energy sword, a energy buster sword, or an energy buster cannon. The swords have a limited time of use, from activation they have: 20 minutes with the long sword, and 10 minutes with the buster, but the cannon is a one-off, after use the booster and all equipped armor must be dropped to restore any sort of function to the suit at all in a time period quicker than four hours. doing so will give it enough energy to fly for four minutes, though at a slow pace, before the suit gives out completely until it's recharged. Unarmored: an auxiliary .65 firing revolver and two laser katana. It can camouflage itself at the expense of some power, and Kirin can take a position on top of it to use the rifle he has, it's an old silenced sniper rifle, very small caliber but it gets the job done.
