SorRik 186 Posted May 5, 2015 I only have 2 games for my 3DS and that is Epic Mickey and Kingdom Hearts 3D. I want to look for a new game to buy. Any suggestions which are cool games to play? Thanks
Shulk 8,623 Posted May 5, 2015 If you have the New 3DS and you're a fan of RPGs, I can't recommend Xenoblade Chronicles 3D enough. It only works on the New 3DS/New 3DS XL thanks to its upgraded hardware (I'm surprised it even runs on that, considering how big of a game it is), but it's a fantastic game. I haven't played the 3D port yet, but I've heard it was done well. I absolutely love the Wii version, though (As many people on here know. ). Aside from that... Super Smash Bros is a great game if you're a fan of Nintendo's legacy. 2 SorRik and Green Sparrow reacted to this

Shulk 8,623 Posted May 5, 2015 My 3DS is the first model.... Though I did update it each new version of it comes up. Will it still work????? No, sorry. The New 3DS is basically an upgraded 3DS with improved hardware. Either way, there are still a lot of great games that you can play on the original! Are there any specific genres you're looking for? 1 SorRik reacted to this
Klonoa the Dream Traveler 678 Posted May 5, 2015 I recommend Castlevaina: Mirror of fate, Sonic lost world, Super Mario 3D land, and Majora Mask. (If you're new to Zelda games, better off playing Ocarina of Time.) 1 SorRik reacted to this

Shulk 8,623 Posted May 5, 2015 Yes I like RPG games. Alright. I haven't played a whole lot of RPGs on the 3DS, but Fire Emblem: Awakening is a great game if you're into tactical RPGs like FF Tactics. There's also the Pokemon series. The Pokemon games are relatively simple and not very plot-heavy, but the team building aspect is a lot of fun, and competitive battles make the combat system much more complex. If you go for one of those, I'd recommend Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire over X/Y, since there's a lot of speculation that there might be a Z Version that has the features from both X/Y, with some additional content. Also, if you'd be interested in original DS games, there were a ton of great RPGs on that system. The World Ends With You, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Chrono Trigger, and the Dragon Quest games are just a few examples that come to mind. All of those are playable on the 3DS as well! The World Ends With You is definitely one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite DS game of all time. There were a lot of great games on the system though, so it's kind of tough for me to decide.

I definitely plan on trying out the 3DS version at some point!Yeah, I played Radiant Mythology in the PSP and the cool thing is you get to create your character. I wonder if Tales Os The Abyss that lets you create a character too.

From what I've heard, it has set characters who aren't created. I'm not sure that many JRPGs have that feature, honestly.
