Guest Posted October 19, 2015 Runa was hit twice, and needless to say, it hurt like a b*tch, even if the damage wasn’t as severe. “Son of a-, wow now, gang up on me why don’t you?!” Runa hissed, gripping his sword tightly as he glanced over at Syfe. “FINE! I’ll take your offer!” Rune yelled, now his eyes landing on the new target, Leum. “I’ll mount your head on my wall!” Runa growled, attacking at Leum while following Oune’s attack. (This is just a REALLY short post to keep it moving since i won't be able to post the whole day.) Oune attacks Leum. This time she charged from the side, blade raised over her shoulder and held with both hands. "I should think your son is the least of your worries right now! " she cried, allowing a blow into Skyla's side,praying that it hit. (By the way, with the small amount of damage we're dealing and the large amount of HP they have, it looks like this battle will last for a while, though I'm fearing there's no chance that they can win.) He glanced to his original target, and decided that the other two could handle him. For now he needed to assist Shela so that her attack didn't just go to waste. He was hoping to be able to finish the dancer off to cut them of their support and buffs, that'd be their only chance of winning... Derik figured it was time to work with Shela and Syfe, they have the right idea, Leum looked like he was on his death bed. He couldn't keep up with her speed, but the extra damage should help. (If I can't do that I will change it just let me know.)(I'm assuming by this you're trying to get ahead of Shela and attack, however since everyone is in the front row, there isn't anywhere for you to go to.) He wasn't as bad as in a condition as Shela was, but it still hurt. "I don't think we would be able to last much longer." Runa murmured, referring to him and Shela. He gathered his remaining strength, deciding he would give it all he had until the end. Hopefully the rest would be able to defeat them without their help were they to become useless. Long locks of pale-blue hair swept the floor before her as she struggled to retain her consciousness. There was no way that she could survive another blow, and even then her injuries were grave. She glanced over at Oume in front of her, offering him a grim smile. He looked concerned and protective. Even if he couldn't protect her the action was still greatly appreciated. "I think . . . this is it for me," Shela murmured under her breath. Under shaking knees the female soldier got to her feet, stealing one final stab at Skyla before retreating to the very back row. She hated being unable to remain in the front lines with the others, but she knew that she'd be no use to them dead. (If I couldn't attack before retreating to the back row let me know. Also, I would like to use Heavy Guard upon retreating to the back if that's permissible, or if I could do that instead of attacking since that would technically be two moves in one turn. Tri-Strike Active: Hit Rate ^, Damage Rate ^ TUTORIAL: Tri-Strike and Quad-Strikes There is also a Tri-Strike, when three users attack a target together, as a result their strength and skill are greatly boosted for that attack, as a result those involved are far more effective as a unit. At maximum, a team of Four can attack a single target at maximum effectiveness, a team of Four can increase the Hit, Damage, and Critical Rate at once, and from then on forward the boosts cycle in that order, however at a much less effective amount to the point it is insignificant in reality. Regardless, a Quad-Strike is far superior than any other basic attack, but it only works on one character at a time. Results: All three attacks land, however Shela's blow fell a little short.. However, my PC keyboard just decided to fling itself in the trash heap so until I get a new one, the formatting and everything will have to be down scaled to my more traditional style until farther notice. The style is called KingdomIUI, as I call it, and is (Although tecnically outdated) style used in Tirain, and though it's rather simple, those unfamiliar may want to ask a Tirain vet of myself for info .-. It is poorly designed but hopefully it will work .-.) (Let me know if there are number discrepancies, the formatting gets messed up when on a Mobile Device, making it hard to make sure the tables are right.) Derik moved himself to the Midguard, putting himself between Shela and the enemy, and then joined Syfe to attack Skyla again, she was going to be the hardest to take down, being the top-dog, but it had to be done. Dual-Strike Active: Hit Rate ^ Results: both blows land in unison: 1.5 damage multiplyer for both strikes! Skyla was beginning to get annoyed with this issue. They should have just fallen in the pit, would have saved her the trouble…. Skyla is Charging. Tutorial: Charge When you want to power up your next move, be it you want to improve your chance for removing all damage with a guard or improve damage output, one can use the charge command to build up energy for your next move. However, this consumes your turn, and the longer you charge, the longer a period of cool down for your character (called “Exhaust”.) Where they cannot do anything, and begins at three turns of charging. However, the opponent can charge as well, so beware! If you're weaker, after this turn, I would suggest moving to Rear or Mid for your safety. Charge an Exhaust is shown, Charge is represented by Pitch, and Exhaust shows up next to your player's name as Ex (x=number of turns) near your health bar. Balance using these with your regular abilities, as even though they do improve your moves, too much use of the Charge feature also results in Exhaust occurring, and the more you're out of the game the harder the battle may be in the long run. “Ha, little whelps. Don't know what's comin’ to em’. They’ll be dead in less than a pulse if they even try attackin’ that old bird now.” Tutorial: Speech hints: Occasionally, the enemy will accidentally let on about either their or a teammate’s next move, in this case, note the words “Pulse ” and “attackin’”. He was about to attack when he noticed instructor Skyla giving off a power that is getting stronger, he considers attacking Skyla but then hears Jan comment. He makes a last minute decision to attack Jan charging he with a side slash but switching it last minute hoping to confuse her with an upward slash. Rune watched with the rest from the windows, his heart racing every time the enemy attacked. Not only were his friends in danger, but his own twin was as well.
