- Hektor -

Hektor simply watched as everyone began to leave for the auditorium as he was the last to leave the table, slowly standing up with his cane always at the ground, almost looking as if he had back problems and needed to use a cane, "Best I see what this is about..." Hektor said, as he saw everyone else leave, and he began to follow soon after, towards the auditorium.

- Alexander -

"Hm?" Alexander mumbled as he heard the noise from the auditorium, "Unusual time...might be something important...she'l probably be there too." He said giving up the look for the girl he met at the lake yesterday, and instead, now going through the fastest route to the Auditorium, curious about what would be said.

The reason I demanded you to post was because I had Alyssa in your area...

But screw it too late)

Syfe destroyed the rest of his pancakes in a few quick bites as he stood. "Sounds good." He attempted to say as he caught up with Rune. Of course, with what was essentially an entire pancake in his mouth, it came out a bit more like "Mmghpsf." He swallowed and repeated himself. "Sounds good. Though I will not lie, this entire school has got me on edge since I got here..." Syfe was about to mention how he wished he was still training with his parents but he stopped himself before he did so. No need to unleash his burden onto others quite yet. He had barely even met them. Rija had laughed at Runa's offer of arm bacon and was about to politely recline when a different guy came over and gave her a plate. She took it from him as the bell rang.

"That is odd." She said in reply to the jacketed man. The Soldier glanced down to her plate of food. Ah well. She picked a biscuit up off the plate as she gestured with her hand for the nice man to follow her. "Come on, we should get going, even if it wasn't on the schedule. What's your name?" Rija asked.

Alyssa lightly glided down the hall, having narrowly escaped an encounter with a person. Unfortunately however, the bells called for assembly. It seemed that avoiding people simply was not in the forecast. She headed quietly towards where she thought the auditorium was. She was not blessed with a good sense of direction though. The Dancer really hoped that she wouldn't be late to the assembly. That would draw even more attention.

"Hm?" Alexander mumbled as he heard the noise from the auditorium, "Unusual time...might be something important...she'l probably be there too." He said giving up the look for the girl he met at the lake yesterday, and instead, now going through the fastest route to the Auditorium, curious about what would be said.

The twins looked at each other with confused glances. “Auditorium? Not in the schedule? Sounds like something out of a play.” Rune smiled. “Nonsense. However I will agree that my suspicions fall on the possibility that something might’ve occurred, good or bad.” Runa said. Rune stood up. “Well then, I think it would be of best interest for us to head to the auditorium then! What do you say, Syfe? Or should I say, partner?” Rune asked with a wink, as brightly as ever. Runa stood up and eat what was left of his bacon. “We should definitely head to the Auditorium. Whether it be dumb or something important, we won’t know until we get there.” Runa stated, shrugging his shoulders slightly as he began to walk towards it. "Wait for us Runa, don't be such a loner." Rune teased, much to his twin's dismay.

"Well, how about 'Hope' for the name of your sword... I think that is a perfect name for your sword because while you are out fighting the sword will give you hope on completing your mission." Oume said with a smile. As he heard her talking about her family and talking about how her adopted father taught her how to use a sword he couldn't help but be a bit happy for her. "Hey at least you are doing something that your father taught you... I have nothing to remember my parents by except these scars on my body." He said to her. The bell rang and Shela asked him the question, "I don't remember anything about being summoned, but yeah, let's go check it out.... It could be some sort of mission maybe." Oume said getting up.

A giggle escaped Shela's lips.  "Me?  Name my sword, huh?"  She lifted her sword, tilting it in different angles.  "To be honest I'd never even thought of it before, but it's kind of cool, I suppose.  You're creating a connection between you and your sword, making it its own person.  But, I guess I don't know how to name a plain ol' sword.  How did you come up with your names?"  Afterward she listened thoughtfully to what Oume had to say about his family before nodding.  "It sounds like you had a pretty terrific family.  I never knew my biological parents, but my adopted family was incredible.  I was especially close to my papa"--her eyes lingered on the blade longingly as she brought it close to her nose--"he taught me everything there was to know about using a sword."

Snapping out of her daze, she looked back over to Oume again, tucking a lock of pale-blue hair behind her ear.  "It is nice . . . to share similar pasts.  Talking to you, I don't feel so alone anymore."

Before she could say anything further, however, a bell rang, once, coming from the auditorium.  A slight frown furrowed her brow; there was no reason that they should be summoned, was there?  She couldn't recall any assignments off the top of her head, but perhaps she hadn't read the syllabus correctly; it wouldn't have been the first time.  "What's that about?" she asked in Oume's direction.  "Care to check it out?"

"Derik. My last name isn't too important. How about your's?" Derik answered, beginning to walk with the girl. However, the bell rung again, anyone not there in the next few moments was as good as dead. If only they knew.

The students gathered from across the Campus, far and wide, and now that most of those we follow have connected to one-another in some way, they decided to sit together, no point in being bored the whole time, right? At least this way they could mess around or chat during the presentation if it was just some sort of stupid pep rally that no one remembered to tell anyone about or something. The Auditorium was gigantic, it could seat nearly a thousand and the ticket salesman wouldn't bat an eyelash if someone asked for a ticket after. However, the whole population of the school was barely short on room, nearly all the chairs were filled, and as such, there wasn't much room to congregate, but they made it work. The room was lacking in color, rather pale in fact in comparison to the rest of the campus, but it wasn't as old either, in fact the building was rather new, the chairs were a fine wood and the stone steps up to them were solid and looked like they had been cut just the other day. The room lacked paint as it was in the process of being painted the school colors.

Once every student was seated, the doors slammed shut, and a barrier spell formed around them, preventing anyone from leaving...

"I don't like this one bit. Not at all."

The headmaster of the school and one of the two Warrior class teachers, the old hag from the other day, and two male corespondents showed up on the stage in the center of the room. One was skinny, the dancers would know him, he had long, thin, sparse hair and copper eyes. His clothing was thin, light, like that of a court jester than anything else. The other man, his hair was shorter, like that of one who worked for the military, he was the Co-Warrior class teacher, and imposing man wearing red and gold faceted armor, his shorter, scruffier hair was red and brown, it almost looked like someone stuck a log on his head and lit it aflame: brown from the bottom to the middle and red from there to the tips. His thick beard around his jawline looked incredibly stupid, but it was well known he would destroy any student to dare even try and say his "Beautiful" facial hair looked like it more belonged on a rat as whiskers would be knocked through three classrooms before he was anywhere near finished with them.

They stood and faced the students, turning so that they would eventually face all of them. However something was off with them. Unlike the day before, where had you seen them, they would have looked rather cheery or serious, they seemed off...

It was the look in their eyes. It washed over the crowd like a tidal wave. Smothering them, choking them, it was an imposing feeling to say the least. Everyone could see it.

"My dear children~" The dancing teacher began. "You may know us as your teachers and caretakers at this school, however..."

"This will no longer be the case. We are stepping down from our positions as your teachers and guides from here on out." The fighting instructor interrupted with. Then the Headmaster spoke up, deciding it was time to stop beating around the bush.

"You see, children, the reason why is that it is time for you all to perish." The words echoed in the room, but felt like a dead weight on all present. "Oho, no, not by the so-called destiny you were told you would follow of dancing in the moonlight or fighting those who would destroy such beauty. You'll never get to taste this sweet tincture, as we will be your death today."

At this moment, the sounds of screams, flesh tearing, and clanging metal were heard from the left side of the stands, the ground and chairs had given through, and from those close enough to see, the unfortunate souls that were caught in this trap met with a rather garish demise via spikes. Before anyone else could consider what was happening, the rest of the spectator stands began to collapse in.

"Everyone run! Get up and run!"

The screams of lives cut short came screeching out from the pit...

MISSION:

Escape the deathtrap area! There are multiple ways to do this, but do note that this event is Timed.

The event ends in Three Days from my time of writing this (4:50 PM Pacific Standard Time on the 14th)

Tutorial: Missions and Timed Mission's.

When a Mission appears, you must complete the objective, and do so by whatever means necessary. Do note, from here on in, failure to complete the Mission can result in Death of the character in extreme circumstances. From here on in, we are in the hot seat. The only time there is Permadeath is when someone fails to complete a Mission of extreme value, or fails a Timed mission.

Now, a Timed Mission is a mission that will end after a real-world time amount passes. If there is a timed event, complete it as soon as possible, they don't happen too often, but in a similar vein to a quick-time event, if it's not done right, your character can die. I will Always list the time, and each one has a minimum time of three days, so it is not unforgiving, however you must complete them.

Tutorial: Death/KO's.

When a character dies in game, they can only be permanently killed by a Timed event of important mission, important missions will range from "Defeat this group of enemies within the time limit" or "Don't be KO'd in this fight!", and normally only show up around periods where a boss battle or an incredibly important event occur's (I.e., a big boss battle) and will be displayed in the Battle Text at all times as to remind you of the issue. If your character dies, you are free to make another character. If you want to employ a character death in the plot, PM me and we may be able to work something out.

Being KO'd does not mean being dead, being KO'd means that you have ran out of Hit Points and are no longer able to aid in the fight, however you can be revived in combat through items or later game abilities.

The twins looked at each other as if this was a sick joke. “Is…this a school tradition? Or a joke?” Rune asked. “Well I’m not laughing.” Runa said. Suddenly chaos reigned, as chairs began to fall apart into pits of spikes, bloodcurling screams echoing across along with the scent of blood. The floor beneath them was collapsing, and they had to act quick, or perish with the rest. It didn’t even give Rune time to think of his fellow classmates and friends. Just survival.

QUICK, MAKE A CHOICE!

Rune’s Choice:

  Accept your fate

Escape through the left

    >>   Escape through the right

Runa saw his chance, as the seats began to collapse across from the left, people running around the walking spaces, he had a chance if he was careful enough to run across and over the chairs. “Here we go!” Rune took a deep breath, jumping onto one of the chair’s arm rests before hurrying off, jumping from another, to another, quick on his feet and careful not to get caught in anything. He moved around almost like dancing from chair to chair. A single missed step, a single mistake, and he would be joining his fellow students down the pit. The moment his feet left one chair it would disappear down into the pit, all of it catching up to Rune and going beyond him. “(Almost!)” Rune thought, and with all of his strength he sprinted, jumping as far as he could to the ledge of the trap. He barely grasped the edge with one hand, his body hanging out at the verge of falling down into the pit. “Crap!”

Runa’s Choice:

Accept your fate

>> Run for yourself

Run along with the crowd

Runa glanced around. His brother was graceful enough to jump over the seats. He wasn’t. He was a tank and any attempts at what his brother just did would lead him to die. However there was only one choice left. If there wasn’t a route for him to take, he would make one. He took out his sword and got in position, and with all of his strength he sprinted, bashing through the seats and slashing through them like butter, crushing them out of his way as he dashed across to the safe area. Pieces of wood went flying as Runa made his own path, his body struggling and pushing its limits, and quickly ran to safety just as the seats behind him collapsed into the pit, killing everyone who was left behind.

All three were shocked at this incredible surprise and tragedy. But there was no time to think. Their own lives were at stake, and if they did not move quickly, they would lose them. And that could not happen...

Alyssa, the shy dancer had sprung to her feet the moment she had heard the screams. It had also not taken her long to understand the situation. This was life or death, and she moved as gracefully and beautifully as always. It might have been awe-inspiring, but everyone was far too busy trying not to die to watch her. Alyssa was near the front of the pack as she continued on her way, staying agile and leaping off a chair when she could. Of course, to where she was running, she had no idea. The exits were locked. No, no time to think about that. Just go.

Syfe had taken a bit longer to get used to what was happening, and the advantage Alyssa had by being at the front of the pack was one that he did not have. But Syfe had a gift for logic, and he knew what must be done. The blue haired youth quickly leaped from chair to chair, but not following the upward traffic. No, Syfe was headed straight for the stage. The teachers wouldn't lock themselves in here, there must be an exit down there somewhere. He made sure to be moving downward in a diagonal fashion, going straight down would only result in him getting the floor pulled out from underneath him. Finally he reached the bottom, and he began running to the right along the stage. A door, a window, something, anything.

Rija took the longest for the events to sink in. She felt huge amount of compassion, to the point that she might just die from standing there in shock. But finally, she got a grip on herself. Dying here would prevent from helping people she actually could. She looked behind her to see the huge mass of people blitzing it to the exits. But she had heard the doors locked. Unless one of them had some way of either picking the locks or busting down the door, there would be no luck there. But what other options were there? Windows? Yes, windows. That would be her escape. She noticed several along the upper walls, but there were so few handholds... She couldn't run up walls. Or could she. Rija ran for it, booking it to the right wall. She was getting quite the running start, and there was a window not so high up along that wall. As she neared the wall, Rija readied herself, then leaped into the air. Up the wall, she could do this. Her left foot hit the wall, and she pushed herself up further. Rija extended her arms, and just barely managed to latch onto the windowsill with her fingers.

It was no lie that Shela hadn't liked a few of her instructors from the start--particularly her headmaster--but never did she think there was any reason behind her prejudice.  Never would she have predicted these teachers to turn on their beloved students in this manner, especially to take their very own lives.

There was no time to talk, panic, or even think; the auditorium was collapsing into a pit of death and she would join right in if she lingered there a moment longer.  The blue-haired young woman had been sitting next to Oume throughout the lecture, though she didn't know how to gather his attention or even begin to formulate a plan fast enough.  When the rows of seats first started to collapse she grasped onto the front of his clothes, shaking him desperately.  Panic seized her expression.  "Come!  Hurry!  We must get out of here!"  She couldn't help him--there was no way that she could.  It would've been impossible for her to wait and try to save him, too; she could only hope he would save himself and either follow her or find his own way out.

Speed was on her side.  Agility, however, was not.  Shela chose to climb up the auditorium through seats, hoping to scramble up through them to the top before it collapsed entirely.  Her foot fell through one seat, however, causing her to shriek.  She threw her arms out to grasp the arms of the chairs beside her, her entire body having fallen through the seat and dangling.  Right now she was thankful that she'd lifted weights every day, as she managed to pull herself out of the pit and continue onward.

It was too dangerous to continue climbing through chairs, however.  Instead she would have to go a little out of her way and get into an aisle between rows of seats.  They were cracked and in a terrible state, but it would be far safer than her venture through seats.  She put all of her speed into her legs, soaring as fast as she could through the collapsing row of seats and into the cracked alley.  Apparently many students had the same idea.  Trying not to push people in her panic, she leapt over some seats alongside the aisle, retreating to the aisle whenever one would start to fall apart.  Finally she made it to the top, surrounded by exits that were . . . .

"Grah!  They're all locked!" Shela cried hopelessly, flinging herself against one.  There had to be some way out of there, or at least some way to open it.  If only she had a sharper weapon, or someone else did . . . .

Oume was blanking out because the screams reminded him of his village and what happened to it, but he was shaken awake by Shela shaking. "Wh-What." He quickly snapped out of it and saw her running towards the exit. He knew that he wouldn't be able to run on top of the chair, so he ran through the aisles quickly moving between aisles and aisles. He always kept Shela in his line of sights, and he saw her reach the exits first and followed behind. After getting through the crowd of people he noticed that she couldn't open the doors, but the didn't seem that tough. He took out his swords and took a few breaths to focus on his strength, and swung his swords multiple times hoping it breaks...

(Riki, not sure if it is possible to break the doors so let me know what happens and I will edit it once I know.)

(I think forcing the doors open would work much better, a halberd's perfect for that.)

Alexander was the last of all of them to notice what was going on, seeing the carnage around him disturbed him greatly, he could barely look at where everyone else was going before he had to act, and quick, as the chairs were falling into the pits, he barely managed to get out from the middle of the group, those in the front and back were lucky, he was stuck for a good few seconds, precious seconds, but as everyone had left he quickly made his move.

Moving forward, following a certain armored woman, (Shela) Thinking of heading for the exits, and maybe trying to unlock them somehow, didn't matter, he barely had time to think as he began to head to where she was headed, climbing the auditorium as he avoided the falling row of seats, using his halberd as a pole for extended jumps, polejumping helped him greatly, as many rows were falling right in front of him, and that allowed him to quickly get to places safely, he soon reached the Auditorium area where Shela was, noticing the locked exits he grit his teeth, seeing Oume trying to swing at them he quickly stepped in, "Back off!" he said as he sticked his halberd right in between a door's side gap, using his halberd as a sort of crowbar in order to forcefully open it, he put as much force as he could into it, to add in more pressure to the door, in hopes it would open, also in hopes someone would come help him with that as well.

Hektor was one of the firsts to notice what was happening, having sat in the back allowed him to leave quickly, as he swiftly avoided falling row of seats and clumsy students running into him and possibly killing them both, doing several backflips and somersaults as he jumped over any hole in his way, always landing gracefully in a safe area, he didn't know where to go, he thought about the most obvious path, the windows, quickly running at one that wasn't too far up, which he could easily parkour his way up.

Quickly arriving near the walls, he swiflty started his ascent, using a small seat, which soon fell as a boost as he managed to hit his right foot in the wall, boosting him up as he managed to grab the windowsill, and climb up, problem was, his hat had fallen, which didn't allow him to climb up completely as he used his cane to pick his hat mid-air as he promptly maneuvered to put it back in his head, a gentleman always needed his hat, even in times like these.

(Breaking the door down sounds great but wasn't there a magic barrier around?)

Rune pulled himself up with all his strength only to feel someone grab his ankle. He looked down in horror at one of the students that stretched up from the pit, bleeding heavily as holes and open wounds decorated his body. He was even missing an eye. "H...He...lp..." The student whispered. Rune was just about to offer his hand when a familiar blade slammed right down against the student, pushing him back into the pit as he let go of Rune. "If you help you'll die." Runa said as he pulled his brother up. "We could have-!" "No. We couldn't have. We aren't doctors. We aren't mages. He would've bled out and died anyways." Runa explained rather coldly, yet speaking the truth no less.

Runa headed straight to a group of people who were trying to break down a couple of doors. "As resourceful as it is, what do you plan on doing about the barrier?" Runa asked, glancing at the magic that surrounded the doors. He held his sword tightly, bringing it up against his shoulder. "Every magic has its limit. Though I don't know how much brute force will do to damage it." Runa spun his blade and began to mercilessly attack the barrier over and over, not stopping for a single second as he tried to weaken it, if it was even possible.

Rune felt suffocated in the midst of the chaos. The metallic scent of blood and the echoes of screaming students made it all seem like it was just a horrible nightmare yet it was all real. The magic barriers around the exit doors made it all more difficult to break it down. If they didn't die from the pit, he was sure that the teachers would make sure to take care of what is left. "I think we should be focused on the professors right now." Rune finally said, his eyes glaring at the men and women who had turned this day to hell.

(Quite right, escaping the area is actually not an option in this case, at least through the doors.)

Try as they might, the door would not budge. The spell was highly advanced, every attack bounced off, and eventually Alexander's attempt to force it open even was repelled.

Derik ran along the rows, but he knew running wasn't going to solve this. There was one thing the old bat of a Fighting Instructor taught him, it was that running never gets anything done save a charity 3K. He knew he wasn't fast enough to out-run the pits. So he decided to fight, it's what he did best. He removed his coat, and threw it forward as he jumped towards the stage, gripping his coat for the extra momentum, but it was not enough, and he began to fall. However, Derik, with a small forward-flip, was able to get his jacket below him and jump off of it. if it weren't as heavy or solid as it were, it would never have worked, but it did. He managed to clear his way to the stage, drawing his weapons and preparing to engage.

Oume noticed that no matter what he did it wasn't working, he looked around and noticed there was one guy who was charging towards the instructers. Oume saw that the pit had gone pretty far so he looked around the room and saw the windows going around the building. He put his weapons away and turned towards Shela, "We need to end this madness." He ran forward and grab onto the window sile, he scooted to the edge of the window sile and started to swing himself sideways. He then released and grabbed onto the next one, he continued this almost falling more often then he should and was finally able to reach the stage. He took out his weapons and was ready to kill these people for making him relive the moments of his village.

"It's no use!" Shela shouted, exasperated from having struck the door many times with her sword.  Other students around her frantically tried the door as well, but there was no breaking the barrier.  "This door was enchanted.  Only someone with equal power--if not greater--could break this with their magic, not might."  She glanced over at Oume, feeling defeat sink into her.  An apology formed upon her lips and she was about to utter them as Oume leapt toward the windows and made his way toward the stage.

Extending a hand, she croaked, "No, Oume!  Don't do it!  They're too strong; you'll die!"  But it was too late--he was already gone and joining the other student, Derik, on the stage.  Her sapphire eyes shifted to Alexander, who had tried his best to get through the door as much as she had.

"So, what are you going to do?"  she asked him.  "We could try making it out of the windows, or"--she stole a glance at the stage and shuddered--"we could commit suicide and join them.  There's no way we can win, not with their power.  And I'm sick of fighting battles that I have no hope of winning."  She then glanced at the twins, Rune and Runa, who she'd just had breakfast with that very morning.  Who knew that their day would turn out like this.  "And you two?"

"Could you break down the wall?" Alyssa asked the group. She had been standing nearby for a while, but had nothing to contribute yet. She wanted to stop speaking there, but she needed to continue on. This was life or death, no time to be sheepish. "These walls seem wooden to me, and you guys are really strong. And the barrier's only over the door. And if that doesn't work... One of you can give me a boost to the window. If it's locked, I can pick it no problem. Then you guys can climb through right?" The girl proposed.

Syfe glanced behind him, and notice two other fighters jumping onto the stage. He smiled. He leaped on, and pulled out his dualblade. "If we're gonna die, might as well do it in style, right?" The blue haired youth said with his usual cocky grin. The trick here was to not let them knock him back into the stands. That would be death... Anything else, he could stand. Hopefully.

Rija took a deep breath. Come on, she had done things like this all the time. Yeah, but that was just in training, no deadly pit that would appear underneath her any second. Now! She kicked up off the wall and pulled herself up at the same time. As she flew upwards, she kicked in the window with all her strength.

Runa stopped his attempts against the doors as he pulled his blade back. "It's useless." Runa said. He was then asked by Shela what was the plan now. Runa could only give a glance at Rija who was attempting to break down the windows and listening to Alyssa's suggestion. "We have go forget about the doors and aim for the windows. Glass is weaker than wood and they aren't covered by the barrier!" Runa said, hurrying over and glancing up at the windows. They were much higher than what he could manage to reach. "Rune get over here!" Runa called. Rune hurried and he was soon helped up to reach the window and pull himself up on its ciel. "Take my sword and break the damn thing! Hold on Rija, we're going to help you out!" Runa yelled, holding his brother up as Rune pulled up his brothers sword and used all of his strength to slam it against the window, hoping to shatter it and create an exit. "Alyssa, Shela, stand by, if the windows break I'm throwing you up there!" Runa said as he watched his brother slam the window with the sword.

"If we're gonna die, might as well do it in style, right?" Rija took a deep breath. Come on, she had done things like this all the time. Yeah, but that was just in training, no deadly pit that would appear underneath her any second. Now! She kicked up off the wall and pulled herself up at the same time. As she flew upwards, she kicked in the window with all her strength.

The window gave way, shattering in a blow. delt to it, anyone who could clear to the window could leave... However, the fall was quite dangerously high...

The three instructors laughed. "What in Hell's Seven Bells do you lot think you're going to do to us?" The red-haired man yelled, laughing from his belly, however Derik decided he didn't care for his boisterous idea of comedy. With a dash, he punched the man in the gut, knocking the air out of him with a swift blow to his diaphragm, and retreated. "Y-You won't get away with that, Absolon!"

"Guys... I'll be honest, we're firetrucked five ways to Sunday if we fight them head on, but we don't have much of a choice. Do you want to start now or wait for anyone else to join us?"

Rune glanced out the window, his face turning pale. "Er...guys...this is pretty high..." Rune whispered. Runs glared up. "Are you kidding me?!" "If you want to jump down first and make your corpse a landing pad be my guest. I don't think any of us can survive that fall without broken legs." Rune explained. His brother rolled his eyes, dropping his brother on the floor with a yelp. "What are you doing?!" "The boys are going to fight them. If we can't go out the doors and the window is too high to jump we have to do something." Runs explained, picking his blade back up before hurrying to the stage. Rune glared and glanced up at Rija. "You don't have any suggestions on something we can do about the fall, do you?!" Rune asked. He could always dance in hopes of lending some of his abilities to his companions yet...he was afraid that if he did the place would get caught on fire. Runa jumped onto the stage, standing next to Derik. "Until we can figure out another plan this is the only plan that will seem to work." Runa said as he rested his sword against his shoulder. "Count me in this."

"Looks like they're distracted by windows." Syfe noted. That was probably a better idea than what he was doing right now. Oh well. "I say we lay off attacking them, but play keep away instead. We just don't take hits. Dodge what we can and block what we can't. It's not like we can hope to deal massive damage to them anyway." Syfe proposed, though he doubted Derik would listen. He seemed like a rock em sock em kinda guy.

Alyssa watched as Rune broke the window. Rija was now sitting on the window sill precariously. She was squashed as close to the side as she could. Rija glanced to Rune as best she could. "We could sit up here and wait it out. There's room for two on the windowsill if you really squeeze." The soldier said. "Our only other option would be to get down there and help out in the fight really quickly." She continued, looking down towards the stage. Rija was not liking their chances, and everything in her screamed to help. Alyssa shook her head.

"No thanks," She whispered, and climbed up onto the window, straddling the sill. Rija nodded. Okay, this could work. Rija motioned to Shela.

"Rune's window or the stage, your preference ma'am."

- Hektor -

Hektor was already on top of his own window, having broken the glass and was already ready to jump down, he looked back at everyone, "This window is a bit bigger, and I see some trees outside, a good acrobat might be able to use them to ease their landing" Hektor spoke to the group as he was sitting on top of the windowsil which could two people easily, he looked at the stage, seeing Derik and Syfe there, fighting the instructors, "They don't stand a chance by themselves..." he muttered as he offered his hand to anyone who wanted to get onto his window.

- Alexander -

He didn't quite know what to do, frustrated that the doors couldn't be open, and breaking the walls would take too long, he heard Shela's question, and hearing Hektor from the windowsil Alexander decided what he thought was best, "Syfe and Derik don't stand a bloody chance by themselves, even if its suicide I must help..." he said almost like with an honor bound tone as he turned away from the group and started heading for the stage, utilizing the remaining isles and footing available and using his halberd to do polejumps, allowing him to quickly arrive at the stage.

He held his halberd behind him, ready to fight "Mind if I join in?" He asked Syfe and Derik, "Can't exactly make the fall out of the windows, so theres really no other option for me..." he commented, as he readied his fighting stance.

-Shela-

The blue-haired warrior approached the windows, her expression pensive.  Her gaze met Rune and she couldn't help noticing the terror in his eyes.  It was apparently a long way down, and their chances of survival were slim at best.  Summing it all up, however, she felt that escaping through the window would be in their best interest.  Finally she glanced and Rija and nodded.  "If we stay we'll surely die," was her response.  "And if we go to fight, well, we don't stand much of a chance there, either.  They're our mentors!  We're simply playthings to them.  Once they're finished with, with the others"--she shot a painful glance at the stage, thinking of poor Oume--"they'll come after us.  The window is our only chance."

Slowly she shifted to Runa, the tall, strong swordsman who stood alongside the window.  Regrettably she lifted her somber gaze to meet his.  "Could you help me up, please?"

All the while, however, her thoughts strayed to Oume.  I can't leave him, were the thoughts that tormented her.  It felt like the easy way out to escape through the window, and possibly die in the process.  She was just running to save herself; just like she had when Papa died.  Her hand clenched the hilt of her sword tightly in an attempt to stop it from shaking.

She was a coward when she was meant to be a warrior.
