Hey there everybody, how's it going!?  Well then, as you all know, I'm a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and well, ever since we got the news that Spidey will be making his way to the MCU, I've been as hyped as a maniac!  And well, since I always check for movie news on Cinemablend, I found these two topics last night and just now!  It's very interesting stuff!

The article I found last night talks about the possible title the 2017 MCU Spidey film will have...

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Marvel-Spider-Man-Movie-May-Have-Title-71098.html

And this article, which I just found now, seems to indicate that Marvel may have already chosen the actor they want for Peter Parker/Spider-Man!

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Spider-Man-May-Have-Found-Its-Title-Hero-71148.html

Interesting topics indeed!  Let's see what develops in the coming months! :3

Actually, I'm with you on this, Firaga.  While I'm happy Spidey will now be in the MCU, I hate how the Amazing Spider-Man series was left at a frickin cliffhanger! X_X

Especially considering its miles beyond the trilogy that Raimi pulled off.

In every way.

I was partial to Nat Wolff, but it looks like they're going with Asa Butterfield to play Peter, so...okay. We'll see how he handles it, I guess.

As for the title, I couldn't care less. I just want this movie, already. For that matter, I want Captain America: Civil War, as well.

I still love Raimi's Spider-Man 1 and 2 movies. Original Spider-Man 1 and 2 are favorite Spider-Man movies and they're the best ones in my book. Spider-Man 3 was absolute terrible, seriously three main villains in one movie was stupid, Sam should of have one main villain and one secondary villain, and Peter's love life was unnecessary in Spider-Man 3 in my opinion. I honestly didn't like the Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 because I hated that they retold the story of Peter Parker all over again that I already knew, plus I hated that I have to see Uncle Ben getting killed twice. I'm glad that Marvel is adding Spider-Man in the MCU and I'm so glad that Marvel has decided not to retell another origin story of Peter Parker again. Instead the new Spider-Man movies will start off with Peter Parker who already has his powers and exploring how to use his powers in high school. And I think Marvel said that Peter's love story won't be a big part in the movies which I hope because I'm getting tiring of seeing romance playing a big part in the story.

idk, that title seems weird to me. Captain America: The First Avenger worked because Cap was the oldest member of the team that would eventually be formed known as the Avengers, but Spider-Man: The New Avenger makes it sound like Spidey's gonna join the Avengers (or has just joined the Avengers) and the movie will deal with him interacting with them. I doubt Disney would lend Sony their biggest Marvel characters for that kind of movie, and it doesn't seem like Spidey will take on the mantle of an Avenger until Infinity War when he presumably steps up along with other Phase 3-introduced heroes like Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel--plus if he just has a cameo in Civil War, I doubt that'll be enough for him to join the team by then either. The final title should just be something like Marvel's Spectacular Spider-Man or something imo, with extra emphasis on the "Marvel" so people know it's an MCU thing and not a third-party like the past flicks.

You make a good point, but remember, the article discusses that the title of the Spidey movie is just a rumor for now.  And well, there's also a rumor that the film will be about Tony Stark putting Spidey on a series of tests to see if the wall crawler has what it takes to be an Avenger, hence the title, The New Avenger.  But, it's all speculation for now.
