Opinion: 3 possibilities of KH in 2015

Since 2007 or 2008 Nomura has said that he would like to release a Kingdom Hearts game every year and he has been doing that but so far we haven't heard anything Kingdom Hearts related that could be released in 2015, now I can think of three possible things that could happen for Kingdom Hearts in 2015.

 

1: Re-release Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 for PS4(and most likely Xbox One as well) in one case with two disk kind of how they did it for the God of War collection where they had God of War 1 and 2 on one disk and had 3 on a disk, now this one possibility has another one in it as well, and that is to have a Downloadable voucher for Dream Drop Distance included with the bundle, since DDD is the only Kingdom Hearts game that wasn't part of any of the collections and is still the only one that is not on the same system as the rest of the games this would make some scenes and hopefully they would have it sold separately on the Network for those who maybe don't want to have the HD collections again (I'm one of those people since I have them both for my PS3 already I don't really wanna own them again but on the PS4 kinda like how I don't want The Last of Us for the PS4 because I already have it for the PS3) out of the 3 possibilities I see this one being the least likely to happen, the part that includes DDD anyway.

 

2. Make Kingdom Hearts Chi available outside of Japan and probably re-release it on a system or something that way Japan doesn't feel like they got cheated out of a game, but then again everyone else in the world did when they got this in 2013, now me personally I don't care if it will still be a web game like it is now or if they release it out on a system I just want it outside of Japan, since this game dose have some importance to the plot as a whole it feels kinda of silly to just have it out in Japan and in a language that some people can't understand, hell they could release it as a mobile game (boo) I don't care I just want this game available to everyone outside of Japan, maybe the main story line of that game will finish up sometime this year and maybe then they will release it outside of Japan but here's hopping.  This has a higher chance of happening then my idea of DDD with the collection re-released for the current gen consoles.

 

3.  Now this possibility I see as the most likely to happen and that is that they don't release any Kingdom Hearts game this year, if it means that they can focus more so on Kingdom Hearts 3 to possibly get a release in 2016 then by all means do it, I know that Nomura said that the series would be expanding to smartphones and those kinds of devices as well (again boo) but I'm not going to count that as a Kingdom Hearts game because I think it will not be and it should not be cannon to the main series.  And if they do release a Kingdom Hearts related game on smartphones they should not have anyone on the current team that is working on Kingdom Hearts 3 work on it let any other team work on it hell even outsource it or whatever.

 

Well these are some possibilities that I can see happening for Kingdom Heats this year, if we don't hear anything before or during E3 then I'm going to see the possibility of no Kingdom Hearts game getting released this year as a higher probability then anything this year.

Personally, I think no game will be released this year. Although Nomura stated that a game would be released once a year, this may be an exception. Kingdom Hearts 3 in my opinion counts more like two games since (I believe was stated by him) that KH3 will have online multiplayer so it makes things much more better for Kingdom Hearts. Who knows, Nomura will probably state something soon.

I honestly don't even really care what they're gonna do this year. Let's wait and see.

There's also the possibility they'll release some unspecified app for smartphones and that will count as 2015's KH game. Whether or not that'd be a good thing would depend on what they plan to do with smartphones.

I said believe as I wasn't quite sure, haha. I remember reading somewhere near the new engine for KH3 that online support could have online support and such. Though don't count me on it.
