Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted September 26, 2015 Hmm, not bad. Shela's still pretty decent in a lot of areas. I think her IQ has drastically risen, though I fear for her HP. I think she had like 18 before, but ah well; hopefully she'll still be able to survive a match. She'l be much more useful than Alexander his IQ dropped drastically, which was his only saving grace from the god horrible stats he had, now he has a measly 9 strenght, he can't even do damage at this point, which concerns me. But Hektor, my god dude's a beast, specially that resistance.

Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted October 12, 2015 The missions were a great idea. That'll get people to get more creative, active, and enthusiastic about posting. : ) I do have a question about the current one, however: the doors are locked . . . . Is it possible for the students to unlock them? Also, is teamwork amongst players permitted to aid their escape?

Is it possible for the students to unlock them? Also, is teamwork amongst players permitted to aid their escape? No, the doors are locked and cannot be unlocked. However, you don't have to leave the building to escape the trap. In example, if Yuffie's character ends up hanging on the window seal by the time it's all over, she would be considered "safe". It's just a matter of getting away from the floor- be it that you hand on the roofs, escape out windows somehow, go down to the stage area, so on. You could even Tecnically destroy the very environment around you if you so wish. And atop this, not only is teamwork aloud, the core consept of the RP is team work and comradere, and as such working together is highly encouraged!
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted October 13, 2015 EVERYONE FOR THEMSELVES I'll probably have Syfe hop up on the stage then... As for Alyssa, well, she's screwed over for now until I can think of something else.

Rija and Alyssa will have Derik save their asses when it comes time, I bet

Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) I have a quick question: can I strike before retreating to the back indefinitely, or do I need to stay where I strike? This will help determine my next course of action when my next turn comes around. Edited October 20, 2015 by Mystics Apprentice

This will help determine my next course of action when my next turn comes around. The good thing in this system is thst you can fight like any other RP, do note however, each attack will (at this time) only count as one strike. Play it like you would play any other.
Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) the battle right now...is giving me major hero vibes. Edited October 20, 2015 by Scrapmaster
Guest Posted October 20, 2015 the battle right now...is giving me major hero vibes. This isn't quite fitting, I would go for something more like this: Because this is the tutorial fight, and as such, it isn't going to be worthy of something quite as intense as Battle with a True Hero. Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted October 20, 2015 That one doesn't fit either thats muffet boss fight music...I hate that music for some reason firetruck it, regular battle theme

I actually love this track. Old-school battle time!
Guest Posted October 20, 2015 Still too strong imo, a little unfitting, especially since these guys aren't even the actual boss https://youtu.be/ljXfpx3KsE8
Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted October 20, 2015 thast the final boss music for that game -_- oh god dammit undertale has ruined our theme finding abilities. completely regular theme
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted October 20, 2015 Oh, one more quick question: are we allowed to use our abilities at all, even if for defense? I know we can only perform regular attacks, but I'm wondering if I could use heavy guard now for Shela.

No skills ATM, however, if you choose to use this Phase 3 to move your character to second or third row, you will have better odds of survival. thast the final boss music for that game -_- oh god dammit undertale has ruined our theme finding abilities. completely regular theme Still a little too heavy. Still a little too heavy. Was it not possible for me to move to the third row after attacking Skyla, in that case? Instead should I only move back? I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused there. I did attempt to move to the third row, unless you think it would be better if I waited.

Technically, you cannot attack then move (You would be going from first phase back to third) However you can move then attack. The reason this is important is due to the fact that attacking from first point then retreating to rear can be a tad broken later on. Your post is fine. This was what I was wondering when I'd initially asked the question earlier. That makes total sense. In my post I had attacked and then moved, so I'd happily change the ordering up. Right now it's more important for Shela to protect herself with her low HP, methinks.

Don't worry about that at this point, I consider the move preformed as per the limits of the system. You're fine, just keep that in mind for next time. Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted October 22, 2015 Quick question concerning combat: did the sort order change since Shela switched to the rear? I noticed they were in the same order above in their HP listing but it looked like you changed their turn order below. Just wanted to make sure so that no one would be waiting on me. : )

I noticed they were in the same order above in their HP listing but it looked like you changed their turn order below. Just wanted to make sure so that no one would be waiting on me. : )For clarification, I always have the turn order at the bottom of the status HUD, and the person whom is to act thst turn is bolded. Normally, who the this HUD style, it's intended thst the characters don't switch speed roles, but of course that is a possibility in this RP. Following the guide arrows tell you whom is going next/turn order. Status order was determined by the previous speed order because I had to kind of type it quick, so getting the turn order didn't come till it was near the end of the post.TL;DR: follow the bottom turn order for whom is going.
