RP Story

Duel Monsters,it is a card game that has been existed in the Ancient Egyptian times until this day. It is a game that tests the people's skills and to prove which of them is the King of Games (Yu-Gi-Oh!),thus gave birth to the people who wield cards known as Duelist. Even though there are many uses of the Duel Monsters for good and bad things,it is a game that ties all the duelists together,leading them into an unexpected fate.

 

There are four dimensions that ties to the Duel Monsters: Standard Dimension, Fusion Dimension, Synchro Dimension & Xyz Dimension. Each dimensions lies a duelist who can perform a different & various ways of summoning their monsters. Thus, it leads to a duel between duelist with unbelievable strength. It is a duel to show which dimensions that can perform the strongest summons.

 

One day, there was an unknown Dimension that suddenly birth from the eons,known as the "Duel Rift".It is a dimension that stands in between all four dimensions. It is a dimension that replicates most of the familiar places from around four dimensions itself. Suddenly,duelists from different dimensions were being sent to the Duel Rift by an unknown reason. But the most surprising of all,is that the duelist in the Rift have lost all of their memories,leading to only the figment of knowing how to duel...

 

With questions in the duelists's thoughts,their only answer is to duel each other in order to regain their lost memories. As one by one began to awaken it,the truth behind the Duel Rift will unfold...

The Duel Rift,it is a dimension where it lies in between of all the four dimension. In that Rift,there are 4 Rift Zones that has been existed that identical to the real dimensions itself. Suddenly, there was a Rift Gates opens unknowingly on every places in every of those 4 zones, reveal to be the duelists from their original dimensions that appears unconsciously on the ground.

 

In the Standard Zone,Also known as the Maiami City,there were three duelist appear in different areas: Zeldrias Muerta ( Hazimie ) in the Duel Stadium, Matt Helms ( Weedanort ) in the City Area & Hizashikage ( MidnightOdd ) in the Street Area.

 

In the Fusion Zone, known as Duel Academy, there are 2 other duelist resides: Sandrew Coor ( IItNeverGetsBetterThanThis ) in the academy hall room & Power Jusho ( Dimi3Infinity ) in the academy Arena.

 

Meanwhile in Synchro Zone, known as New Domino City,only one duelist appears: Katsuya Fudo ( Yusei Fudo ) in the Satelite Area.

 

And last but not least, the Xyz Zone,known as Heartland City, there are two duelists to be revealed: Lars Caldwell ( Firo_Procheniezio ) in Heartland Tower & Xerlius ( KHLegendII ) in Heartland City Area.

 

 

As they began to wake up one by one with a clueless thought of how did they ended up here,they began to receive a voice message from their duel disk that attached their left wrist;

 

"Greetings,[Your Name] of the [Your Dimension] Dimension. Starting today,you'll be starting to duel in this place called the Duel Rift. I know, I know, You might have more questions than this one. Now,for a start... this place exists between the dimensions of Standard and Fusion, Synchro and Xyz. Only the chosen duelist were picked by me will be able to appear on this place. Yes,you're the chosen duelist that sought on this barren grounds of this dimension.

 

On this place,lies an infinite powers of duels,yet the cost to embrace it is the duelist's memories itself that has payed. Translation, those who appear here grants infinite knowledge of the duels,yet the memories of yours will be the payment on this realm. I know it's hard to believe,and I know that you might surprise that you can't remember a thing,but believe me,this is all for the sake of the four dimensions. Simple,in order to get your memories in this realm is to engage on a duel with other duelist resides here from their original dimensions such as yourself. 

 

For a start,you have to find your deck that was been accorded to the destined place and used it to duel on this realm. Here's the list of the place where the destined duelist should go:

 

Standard Duelist - Maiami Local Card Shops

Fusion Duelist - Academy's Card Shops

Synchro Duelist - Kame Game Card Shops

Xyz Duelist - Heartland Theme Park

 

Of course,the Synchro Duelist must have trouble for getting there since it's too far away from where you stand,but since you're on Satelite,you'll be having your own Duel Runner somewhere on that place. Your duel disk will have a sensor to locate your Duel Runner nearby. After getting your decks,you have to find other duelist than yourself in order to engage a duel,just as I asked. Your duel disk will also have a functions of a Summoning Energy radiator,as it allows to read the summoning energy around you,leading to a duelist that you seek.

 

Also,after engaging your opponent in a duel,you'll be given an Emblem Star in that was shown in your duel disk's screen where it needs 4 Emblem Stars. Each stars needs at least 5 duels that you've experience. Once you've obtain all four of them,your duel disk will be picking a mysterious summoning energy,leading to the Duel Rift's deepest truth. 

 

And thus,this is all the information that I can give you. Good luck and have fun..."

 

 

As the voice message's recording have ended, all duelist began their quest to get their memories back,and to return their homeland in their destined dimension,with finding their deck as a fresh start. " I see... So that's how it was..." Zeldrias said,who recently awake and hear the information of the voice message from his duel disk as he began to head towards to the Maiami Local Card Shops by leaving the Duel Stadium...

"Maiami Local Card Shop, huh...?" thought Matt, as he lightened up a ciggarete. "Might as well go there."

 

Matt started his way to Maiami Local Card Shop.

Lars laughed at the voice. His thoughts on it were two: absurd and hilarious. Memories in exchange for some truth that may or may not exist. Still the curiosity was almost killing him. Only natural he'd take a look. It wasn't that long before he set out towards heartland theme park. That is in fact one of Lark's least favorite places. All the cheer and happiness made him just want to throw up. It's a fact however that he was like that too once. Now he had just one purpose... That is to find one. And this truth was tempting to him exactly because of this. If not else it gives him a little time killer till he finds what really is his fate. (he's quite the philosopher isn't he?)

A car was waiting for him to go to the dreaded theme park.

Xerlius was looking at the sky sternly, wondering what was going on, as he began to make his way to Heartland Theme Park. He was confused as to why he was here. He didn't even recall anything prior to it as he kept walking. He also looked around for other people. "I wonder what's going on... Why do I have to go to some theme park?" Asked Xerlius, asking himself a question.

"Duel Academy's Card Shop" Power thought to himself, "Hopefully I can get some good cards."

Power's taking his sweet time as he walks to the Card Shop.

Hizashikage was gazing at the LDS tower. The region around him seemed familiar, yet foreboding and unknown at the same time.

 

"The local card shop huh?" He murmurs. "Where even is that?"

 

He decides to walk to the LDS Tower, believing that there may be a map around there that he could use to get his bearings.

When the voice recording ended, Katsuya's green eyes stared out at the ocean separating the Satellite from the main city of Neo Domino, beside him being the Old Daedalus Bridge built by the Legendary D-Wheeler all those years ago in an attempt to escape the slums of Satellite. Luckily, no deed had to be performed ever since the reunion of the two areas via the New Daedalus Bridge. Katsuya look down at his Duel Disk in order to locate his D-Wheel like the mysterious voice told him to. The was a red dot flashing in area that seemed to be coming from behind him. After one last glance at the distant main city, Katsuya swivelled and walked steadily to the area waiting for him.

Maiami City

 

Somewhere in the local card shops nearby LDS Tower, three strange floating spheres,glowing and fill with an ominous energy suddenly appears inside the shops,leading to wait for the duelist's arrival. As Zeldrias arrived in time at the local card shop after passing the tower,he began to wonder,"So, this is the card shop that it mentions..." Zeldrias said as he began to enter the shop,which results a curiosity in his face as he saw those spheres. As he try to touch it,the Sphere suddenly opens by splitting in half, and it was a deck case inside it all along.

 

That case has Zeldrias's name on it,which Zeldrias assumed that it's his. As he began to put his deck in his duel disk,he began to pick several summoning energies nearby,meaning that the other duelist will be arrive shortly. "Looks like I have wait others to take theirs..." Zeldrias began to wait the other duelists to arrive.

 

 

Duel Academy

 

Meanwhile in Duel Academy,two other spheres glowing with power in the Academy's Card Shop as it wait the duelist's arrivals...

 

 

New Domino City

 

As Katsuya Fudo was searching his Duel Runner before heading to the Kame Game Shop,his duel disk were suddenly pick up the readings that it shows his Duel Runner was nearby as it leads to the old garage in the city of Satellite. Like the other places,the glowing spheres appears in the card shop,waiting for Katsuya's arrival...

 

 

Heartland City

 

In Heartland Theme Park, each one of the two spheres appears in each cable of the Ferris Wheel,waiting the duelist's arrival too...

Lars arrived at heartland theme park. It was surprisingly quiet for the day giving him just the right opportunity to really see what will happen with this whole truth thing. He spent a while wandering about when finally he saw a sphere floating mid air.

'There might be more to this than meets the eye.' he thought to himself and touched it. Immediately a deck flung out. With a reflexively theatrical motion he sided it into his duel disk. As if he was dueling he drew five cards and sighed.

"Good grief is birds all I'm gonna get?" The deck was a bit ... more than a bit of a disappointment since he expected power beyond belief. In other words stuff like satellar knights maybe burning abyss. In the end it didn't matter. All that was left now was to find out what happens next.

Xerlius arrived in the Heartland Theme Park, and looked around with a stern look on his face. He was wondering why he was called here. He saw a sphere of Light floating. Feeling confused by it, he touched it, and cards filled his Duel Disc, causing a Deck to form in his Duel Disc. He drew a card, and smiled at it. "Dragons, huh? I see.... It fits me." Thought Xerlius, thinking to himself in his head mentally.

Neya was a bit confused. Satellite one second and new domino the other. It wasn't long before the entire voice thing was over with. and the obvious decision was to go straight to the card shop. If anything dueling seemed to be her only option at the moment. She ran as fast as her legs could carry Her towards the kame card game shop since it was the next step.

"So now what just get a deck and duel till i drop?" She asked herself out loud and continued her running spree.

Hizashikage strolled through the maze-like streets of the city. The city was eerily quiet and this disturbed him. "What will the other duelists be like?" He wondered as a pit formed in his stomach.

Katsuya continued pacing briskly through the ruined Satellite, following the indicator on his Duel Disk. He looked around at his surroundings. Was there really no-one else here? It seemed as empty as ever. Was this normal? Perhaps it was since nobody would want to live here. It was a scrap wasteland, even after its unity with the main city of Neo Domino. He saw his destination in the distance: The old Satellite garage. He walked over and lifted the rolling door and entered. The flashing was getting stronger on his disk, meaning he was close. Finally after a few turns, he saw a structure covered in a dusty sheet.

 

With one swift motion, Katsuya pulled the sheet of to reveal the contents underneath. He coughed amongst the dusty haze until it cleared to reveal his purple D-Wheel. At least, he thought it was his. It looked familiar, that was for sure. Looks stable, he thought to himself. He put on the helmet that rested on the seat and mounted the D-Wheel. He found the ignition and revved it up. ()

 

"Let's go!" Katsuya screamed as he set off towards the city.

" Finnaly found it..." murmured Matt, after getting lost for the upteenth time, as he entered the store.

 

Matt saw a glowing sphere in the air, which approached him.

"What the heck, get this thing off me!" said Matt with some fear.

"Well, it looks like I'm here!" Power says as walks to the door of the Card Shop. Power wonders what lies beyond the door. Could it riches, could it be his friends, could it be something he couldn't control?

Power opens the door to light and walks through.

At first he saw nothing when he first scanned the room but then a orb of light risen up from behind the counter and flew towards Power!

"Woah there! Don't come any closer!" Power says as the orb rushed him.

The orb touched Matt, and a deck case appeared from the orb splitting in half.

 

"A... deck?" said Matt, as he picked it, and started checking the cards.

Power opened his eyes. The orb was just floating there, mere inches from his face.

"Okay," said Power as he look at the orb cautiously.

Power touched the orb. It opened slowly to reveal a deck within it.

"Woah... a deck...SWEET!"

"Am I scared?" Hizashikage wondered as he approached the centre of the city. He didn't remember what it was like to duel anyone nor did he even remember what deck he even used. 

 

He saw a card shop straight ahead along with a figure already inside.

 

"This is it." He thought as he strolled towards the door, his stomach burning with nervous anticipation.

(Sorry that I haven't updated this RP much,since i've been pretty busy lately...)

 

As Zeldrias saw another person (Matt Helms) possessing his deck just like he does,he began to approach him. "Looks like you got your own deck for a fresh start. My name's Zeldrias, Zeldrias Muerta. Just like you,i'm a Duelist who were being sent here..." Zeldrias explained as he saw another person (Hizashikage) who began enter the shop. "And here comes another..." Zeldrias said as he curious to the new duelist he encountered...
