WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted April 23, 2015 This is so weird cause my sister's birthday is tomorrow (April 23rd)! But anyways, we mainly just celebrate the young people in my family's birthdays, and not by doing much, but like getting a cake, some decorations, and letting the birthday person get to decide where we eat, and sometimes when we are busy on the actual birthday, we do it the weekend of the birthday. This year for my sister's birthday, I got her Super Mario 64 on Wii U as her gift (since we didn't have the game before now, and it's not a true celebration without a slide!), and we are also going to play Mario Kart 8 with its new DLC tracks and characters and do the 200cc mode (where we are going to probably fail at the game but have a great time while doing it). HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted April 23, 2015 It varies every year, but the one consistent thing we always do for everyone's birthday in my family is go somewhere nice to eat. Exilra 393 Posted April 23, 2015 With my family our birthdays usually go like this: Starts as a normal day (with everyone saying happy birthday), then banished to their room temporarily while the presents and cake are being set up, open presents, hang out with family for a bit, then do dinner as the birthday person wants. ScarletArisa 128 Posted April 23, 2015 (edited) Well usually nothing directly on my b-day besides from eating cake and maybe someone sings for me.However 1-2 weeks afterwards there is a "little party" with my fam but I don't like these parties because i have to do EVERYTHING on my own (cleaning, food etc.) and no one helps me. It is no celebration in my opinion and i also don't get presents (aside from one aunt who is giving me some money...or socks but i am still happy about it because it is nice ).But this year will be different, this year i will meet some of my friends for a whole weekend. My best friends are from different regions of my country and when we meet we go shopping, play games together and we want to visit a con .
