Sora96 17,256 Posted April 1, 2015 Final Fantasy Type-0 released not too long ago, along with a demo for Final Fantasy XV. In this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine, director Hajime Tabata discussed some of the survey results from fans that have gotten to play the Episode Duscae demo. [Thanks, Hachima] For starters, in the survey, there were quite a few who suggested that they’d like to see a female character join the party. “There’s a chance that we may have female characters participate as guests in the party,” said Tabata. “Since [the party] is made up of only men, you might even get to see their behavior change when there’s a lady around.” As far as the battle system goes, there was actually a lot of input from fans who’d like to see further improvements. “The demo’s battle system is at around 50% in terms of progress [relative to being completed in the full version],” the director responded. “We’d like to thoroughly respond to the improvement requests. The full version will feature new elements such as magic and cooperative chains, so I believe it will be completely different.” Tabata also talked a little bit about the “part destruction” feature for monsters that they originally planned on implementing; however, due to high hurdles, they have no plans on including it for the time being. He also mentioned that Ramuh has special specifications for the demo, and they will make improvements as far as its system goes in the full version of the game. WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted April 1, 2015 You know I find it just very very wrong when people try to have no females in something. Girls have enough right to do whatever a man does, and going against that by having no females in something is just wrong in my eyes. I don't care if they are going to try and make up for it with "guest characters", leaving females out of the main team in the first place is saying that they don't care for females and try and disrespect them. It's just very wrong in my eyes treating anyone like they do not matter enough to do what others can.

The game is supposed to be akin to a guys road trip, or like a guys night out type thing. Just because girls aren't included doesn't mean theyre being sexist, they're far from it. Isn't this one of the few FF games WITHOUT a playable female character? 1 Ultima Spark reacted to this

Lucario 48 Posted April 1, 2015 Sora are you talking to your self? Cause all I see is 4 posts from you lol. Also I do t care of there aren't any female characters, I mean we just had Lightning Returns and that mostly was only Lightning as playable. So I say why not! TerraRedeemed 255 Posted April 1, 2015 People will make the games they want to play and they have every right to. I understand the desire for more strong female characters and stories which is why those who are advocating for more should feel inspired to join the industry. TheKingdomkid 1,194 Posted April 1, 2015 So is this suppose to be the April Fool's joke is that everyone is gonna look like the persona who posted the original post of the thread oh well. On to the main topic: Well I honestly don't mind I mean from the first trailer I saw of this game back when it was Versus I think they only showed the four guys that we have now but I always thought that eventually we would get that female that was in the trailer as a party member as well but then when they released the trailer that said it was called XV now then I started getting the feeling of this story is more focused on those four guys as friends and such and then we saw them driving in the car and even with this demo now it seems to be something along those lines. It's not gonna make or break the game for me if there is or isn't any female playable characters even if they are gust characters I just think that Tabata is just trying to get himself out of the hole he dug himself into when he said something about why female characters weren't going to be part of the main party that didn't really go so well with all of the fans.
