When he walked past her, his shoulder brushed past hers a bit. He turned around and grinned at her. "What are you waiting for? C'mon." He said, still grinning.

Bella laughed at what he did. She started to walk past him and then she started to run."C'mon Slow poke!"She yelled over to him still running away from him.She stopped after she was pretty far from him and stood there waiting for him to catch up to her.

Chad chuckled a bit, then ran after her.

 

"I apologize," Princess Inu said. She looked up at the both of them. "I do have a favor to ask of you."

 

"Anything for a pretty lady like yourself!" Ankami blurted out...

 

Ignoring Ankami, she continued. "The divine winds have been fading these past few weeks, and the canine warriors's power is fading."

 

"Hm?" Ankami asked.

 

"I sense a darkness coming from the Gale Shrine," She said.

 

 

Eventually Chad and Bella got there. He wasn't sure if they should just stomp in. "This where the Canine Warriors live," He told Bella.

"Okay, should we just walk in?"She asked looking at him.

 

 

"Darkness coming from the Gale Shrine? That can't be. Well We'll do this for you Princess Inu."Ankami said and bowed to her.

Sunterasu did the same."Thank you Sunterasu. Thank you Ankami you have my gratitude."Princess Inu said to them both.She stood up and walked over to both of them.

"I will give you these. You will have the protection of the Satomi orbs." The Satomi orbs strapped to each canine warrior's necks floated to Sunterasu and floated around her.

 

"Well, I dunno-" Chad started, but being interrupted by Sunterasu and Ankami as they walked out. Ankami was now curious. They kept bumping into them. "Hey, kids. What are you doin' following us around anyways?"

 

"Uh-" Chad started, being interrupted again.

 

"Wait, you can see Sunny's true form can't ya?!"

"Well, I can."Bella blurted out not meaning to.She covered her mouth as soon as she said it out loud.

 

Ankami gave her a look and jumped on to her shoulder."So you can see's Sunny's true form. That must be some gift you have."He said to her. He jumped onto Chad's Shoulder."Can you see her true form?"He asked Chad.

"Er-...yes." Chad said.

 

"Hm..." Ankami said. He bounced onto Bella's head. "That must mean you two are the chosen ones! The two from the phrophecy!" Ankami said.

 

"Chosen ones..?" Chad asked.

 

"Meh, I'll tell ya later. See ya!" He said, bouncing back on to Sunterasu, who ran off to the Gale Shrine.

 

 

Chad, with an -_- face, said "Do you know what he's talking about Bella...?"

"No I don't Chad. I want to know what he means by the chosen ones though."She said to him with a confused look on her face. "What prophecy do you think he's talking about? Do you have a idea at all on what he means?" She asked him.

 

 

Ankami and Sunny were really close to the Gale Shrine now. "Hey Sunny do you think those two kids back there are the chosen one's of the prophecy? Or do you think there lying about seeing your true form?"

"Not a clue." He said, glancing up at the sky which was getting dark. No moon again tonight. How long would this keep up? Why was there no moon? Anyhow, it was getting even closer to the festival. In fact, it was just the next night... if the moon wouldn't come back by then, the festival would be... well, a fail.

 

"The festival is tomorrow..." Chad mumbled.

 

Sunterasu and Ankami felt an ominous feeling entering the Gale Shrine, but nevertheless, they kept going until they saw Kanji 'meditating.'

 

"Hey, gramps wake up!" Ankami yelled.

 

Waking up, Kanji said "Oh. Um, I was meditating to destroy the Crimson Warrior."

 

"You already made that excuse!"

 

"Well, I was doing it again. Now I will step forth to destroy the Crimson Warrior." He said, and pulled out his sword, and ran deeper into the cave.

 

"Hey gramps! Wait! Its dangerous for old people like you in there!"

Bella looked at Chad then the sky."I think the moon is gone because of the darkness."She thought in her head She looked back at Chad and smiled."We should go before it gets to dark for us to see. Don't you think?"She asked him still smiling at him. She started to walk back to where they came from and stopped and waited for him.

 

"Gramps! Come back already! Your going to get yourself hurt!"Ankami yelled to him.

 

 

Kanji kept on running and he ignored what Ankami said to him.

 

 

"Come on Sunny we have to stop him quick!"Ankami said to Sunterasu.

Sunterasu started to run towards Kanji at full speed.

(Like I said in chat, I'm kinda skipping some of the story so I can get to the thing that WOULD be Orochi.)

 

~Later~

 

Chad and Bella had caught up to Sunterasu, who was just getting to the top of the Gale Shrine. There was Kanji, holding his sword.

 

"Come out, foul beast! My trusty sword will taste your blood!" He kept screaming over and over, trying to get the Crimson Warrior to appear.

 

Ankami couldn't help but giggle at this. "Gramps! He ain't just gonna come ou-"

 

*RUMBLE RUMBLE*.

 

"What the-?!" Ankami said.

 

Flames emerged from the ground in a circle, trapping Kanji, Sunterasu, Ankami, and Chad and Bella in the circle.

 

From the ground emerged the Crimson Warrior. He was holding two flaming swords.

 

"Ohshi-" Ankami said. ()

 

(This isnt the thing that would be Orochi... the thing that would be Orochi is much more epic)

Bella felt the ground shaking and she looked at Chad."What's going on Chad?"She asked then she saw a figure appear and her eye's widened in shock."Th-this can't be happening.."She said quietly. She started to walk towards it, but she started to lose her balance and fell down.

"Bella!" Chad said, and ran over to her, helping her up.

 

As Sunterasu was basically beating up The Crimson Warrior with the Divine Weapon on her back, Kanji was pretending to fight, but really he was just swinging his sword around the air.

 

The Crimson Warrior swung it's sword at Sunterasu, but of course, she dodged it... little did she know the next demon she faced wouldn't be so easy.

 

Eventually, after beating it enough, she killed it. (Again Im in a rush to get to the not-Orochi, which I promise won't be a one poster .)

"I'm fine."She said to Chad and she looked over to Sunterasus."He defeated him already?"She said and pointed to Sunny who was standing over the Crimson Warriors body. She walked over to Sunny and just stood next to her.

Kanji cleared his throat. "Ahem... Well, the great Kanji has destroyed the dreaded Crimson Warrior. I shall return to Kamiki to tell of my victory." Kanji said, and started to walk away.

 

"Wow..." Chad mumbled, at Kanji's stupidity.

 

Ankami looked at Chad and Bella. "You kids again?" He asked. "...So if you can really see Sunny's true form... what does it look like?"

 

"She has crimson markings, a stone artifact on her back which emits flames, and... the Celestial Brush." Chad explained.

 

Ankami looked at him. "So you weren't lying..."

"Why would we lie about that?"She asked Ankami.

"Well at first I thought you two might have been lying but now I know your not. So shall we leave?"Ankami asked them both.

"Well I guess we can."Bella said to Ankami.

"Ok let's go then."he said to them.

They all went back to kamiki village. (I can't think of anything else sorry)

The time they got back it was the next day, at sundown... eventually it was night, and the moon wasn't there... it was the 100th year since Amaterasu and Susano slayed Orochi, and there was no full moon. It was the festival. No one seemed to be having a good time, and not many people were there... ironic, wasn't it?

 

That seemed like the worst thing that could happen... but, it got MUCH worse. After about an hour, 16 orbs resembling elements appeared in the sky... they 8 of them morphed to become an arrow. Then, the other 8 morphed into an arrow. They both hovered there in the sky.

 

'On the night of the festival, a white plumed arrow fell from the sky and struck the chosen maiden's house. That chosen maiden would be the human sacrifice to Orochi. If they were not offered as a sacrifice, the whole village would be ripped off the face of the earth, along with the people who lived there.'

 

But... why two? Perhaps Orochi were going to choose two, because he was tired of getting stopped by Nagi and his descendants. Two times, he was so close to becoming god of the underworld by feasting on the 100th human sacrifice, but he was always stopped. But more importantly, why were they there? Orochi was dead, wasn't he?

 

One of the arrows fell from the sky and shot directly at Utsukushii's house... and it struck the roof.

 

But then, the second arrow shot from the sky and hit the roof of Bella's house. (This should play when that happens:

)

 

Everyone in the village was traumatized... And Chad, as for him... of course he was saddened when the arrow struck Utsukushii's house, but when it hit Bella's... he was enraged. He clenched his fist. "...I thought Orochi was dead..."

 

A cursed zone crept into the village... the cursed zone was shaped as two of Orochi's heads. One of them bit Utsukushii, and one of them bit Bella. They dragged them back to the Moon Cave, where Orochi lived.

 

Kanji was a bit frightened to enter the moon cave, even to save his beloved... but Chad, he didn't, not for a second, care about his own safety... just Bella's. And he felt it was completely up to Kanji to save Utsukushii.

 

He sprinted off to the Moon Cave, not even thinking about the consequences... And Kanji followed slowly behind him.

Bella was now in the Moon Cave. She looked at the figure that took her into the Moon Cave and tried to get up to attack him, but she couldn't. There was some kind of curse on her now and she couldn't move at all."Why did you bring me here !?"She yelled to him with all her anger.

He looked at her and a evil smirk came across his face."None of your concern, weakling."He stated to her.

 

"What are you waiting for Romeo go in there and save her already!"Ankami yelled to Chad jumping on Sunterasu's head.

Kanji moved in front of all of then and stood like a warrior and said in his dumb warriors voice.."Don't worry kids I'll save this Bella girl you don't have to worry!".

Ankami rolled his eyes at him."Gramps, you can't do this alone."

-Before that ever happened-

Chad finally reached the moon cave. He ran toward the entrance. Then, someone appeared right in front of him. Waka. (Waka never ages, since

He comes from the Celestial Plain.

)

"Now now, don't go rushing in there so carelessly. In both the legends, Nagi or his descendant, Nami or her descendant, and the Sun Goddess entered the moon cave to slay Orochi." Waka said.

"Well, it's time for a change then!" Chad yelled, gripping the handle of his scimitar on his back. He unsheathed it and slashed at Waka.

Waka leaped backwards, dodging the blow. "Don't be so reckless. But, I suppose it is your decision."

"...There's someone else in there! Not just Utsukushii! And it's Orochi's sacrifice!"

"...Fine then. I will allow you to pass." He disappeared in a bunch of sparkling dust (like the purdy boy he is).

-And then, your post happens.-

Since none of them were stopping him, Chad ran ahead without a word.

He eventually reached Orochi's throne room. He thought this was just going to be Orochi, but no...

It had the 8 heads and body of Orochi... but the hands of Yami, the legs of the Spider Queen, the armor of the Crimson Helm, the poisonous sword of Blight, the huge nine tails of Ninetails, and the dark magic of Lechku and Nechku.

The Not-Orochi was about to feast on Bella and Utsukushii both... but in ust the right time, to stop the Not-Orochi, they heard a voice. "Stop!" It was Chad.

(Hur hur hur hur hur, epicness)

Bella moved her head a little to see Chad was there now."Chad don't! Get out of here! Ahh!"Bella shirked as the Nine Tails grabbed her tightly.Utsukushii started to scream when she saw the Nine Tails attack Bella. "Chad!"Bella screamed.

Chad didn't leave, would never leave Bella there. He thought he could defeat this thing alone, with ease. His scimitar gripped in both hands, he leaped directly up to the head. then he realized, this thing had a barrier up. nothing could hurt it. One of the heads knocked him down onto the ground, onto a corner.

 

That head cornered him there. Just the head was bigger than Chad himself. "Tell me boy. Why are you trying to fight me. You do not even have a bloodline to Nagi. I can smell that you do not. Your just a worthless peasant! You cannot kill me! It is impossible. So tell me. why are you trying anyway???"

 

Chad glanced over to Bella. "..."

 

"TELL ME!" The Not-Orochi terrifyingly screamed.

 

"Because... because I have something worth fighting for." Chad stated... he used his sciitar and stabbed it right into it's face, breaking the barrier. But... how was that possible? In both the legends, only those related to Nagi could break the barrier.

 

The Not-Orochi screamed in pain, but then it used it's dark magic to slow down tie, except for himself. While Chad was left defenseless, the Not-Orochi closed in for the kill.

Kanji stormed right into the moon cave holding his sword high in the air. Sunterasu and Ankami followed after him."Stop! You don't know what's going on!"Ankami yelled at Kanji.

"Look's like we have company."The Nine Tails said in a evil voice.

"Stop! Don't hurt them! Don't hurt Chad!Please don't!"Bella cried.

"Foolish girl you would give up your life for some people like theses? There nothing but a bunch of shams!"The Nine Tails said to Bella.

"I rather die than see my friends hurt."Bella said back at Nine tails in a confident voice.

"Well, if you say that looks like you're going to die!"Nine tails said. He lifted his hand and was about to kill Bella right there at that moment.

 

-Dun Dun Dun music plays-

One of the heads creeped its way onto the back of the Not-orochi, to where Bella and Ninetails were. "Stop." The head said, stopping Ninetails. "She is for the main head to feast on; then we can all, finally, become the God of the Underworld." It said.

 

Chad leaped out of the way, but the head was moving too fast to stop; so the head bashed its own face into the ground, getting stuck briefly. Chad slashed at it while he had a chance, but it hardly left a scratch, even without the barrier. "Rgh..." Chad growled.

 

The head escaped, and Sunterasu fought them briefly, considerably weakening them.

 

Then, Kanji stepped forward and repeated the incantation his ancestors made... "Power of the heavens! Shine down on us with your divine white light and grant us the power to defeat this evil demon!" He yelled, holding up his sword.

 

"...Huh? Wait, Sunny... in the legend..." Ankami said. But Sunterasu was already way ahead of Ankami. She howled, and the black clouds overhead dissipated... revealing the moon.

 

(Kanji officially becomes epic now...)

Kanji's sword shone a divine white light, and Kanji stood up to fulfill his destiny. He leaped towards one of the heads, screaming, "GOOD!" And slashed it's head off. He went for the next head, screaming, "WILL!" and doing the same thing with the 7 heads, screaming words that formed the sentence "Good will never give into evil."

 

All that was left was the main head, it was panicking. "Finish it off, Sunny!" Ankami yelled. Sunterasu started to run toward the beast, but Kanji stopped her. "No. I will handle this."

 

"Kanji-style... CELESTIAL CLEAVER!!!" He jumped high into the air, coming straight down on the head with his glowing sword, and cleaved the head right in half.

 

Chad had witnessed a reborn legend... but, Orochi's body always burst into flames after its defeat. Utsukushii had managed to escape the body by crawling down one of the dead necks... but Bella was still trapped there.

 

Chad leapt into the air, toward the body, and grabbed Bella in midair, holding her close to him. He landed on the other side, the body exploding behind him. Yet... he still didn't let her go.

 

~Teh Other Side~

 

Utsukushii approached Kanji... Kanji looked at her. "For always, I were plagued by the bloodline of Susano. Bloodline this, bloodline that... I were just so tired of hearing about the Bloodline, and I said to myself I'd pull out that Tohenboku sword from the fake holy stories. But when I did, lo and behold the monster from the stories was real and it gobbled up the moon! I were so scared, I ran back to the village and I ran and hid in my basement... I ran and hid lots of places, but no matter where I went, God were... Old Providence were always watching me! Never would he forgive me, he done said. Not until I do away with that Orochi feller, never would forgive me and chase me everywhere!

 

...I am passionate about the path of the sword. Despite this, I did commit a grave crime. I released those monsters in a moment of weakness and took their vile murmurings into my soul. Could it be... that I no longer deserve to hold a sword in my hand? ...If so, then I surely have no reason to live..." (Gah, enough with the speeches, blah)

 

"Oh, Kanji... Don't make such a scary face. Laugh with me, like you always have! Making such faces will only draw the apparitions to you. Come now, laugh for me! Laugh the way you always do when you help e harvest the rice plants each year!" Utsukushii said.

 

"... ...Heh heh heh... Ha ha ha ha ha..." Kanji started... then, he let out his old, idiotic sounding laugh. It was never better to hear the sound of that laugh. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Bella was caught in the air by Chad when the Not-Orochi, but what he didn't know was that she had gotten hurt badly. She couldn't open her eye's or move one bit.All she could do was say."Chad..Th-thank...you...". And she was knocked out since then.

 

Ankami jumped up and down when he saw Bella again."You saved her!Is she ok?!"He asked Chad.

Kanji and Utsukushii both walked over to Chad to see if Bella was ok. "Kid is she ok? She's not moving."

"She most have gotten hurt from the attack you did Kanji."Utsukushii stated to everyone.

"Hey! Bella! Hello!? You there?!"Ankami said to Bella.

From the Not-Orochi's flaming body, 5 dark spirits emerged from every different body part, scattering to different parts of Nippon. Chad took notice of this, of course, but quite frankly... he didn't really care right now.

 

He looked up to the group... but again, not a word. He scooped Bella into his arms, and He took her back to the village, where there were fireworks, and nearly everyone from Nippon was there. Had they already heard of the Not-Orochi's defeat? Guess news spreads faster than the people who make it.

 

He took her to the only quiet place... the cave of Nagi and Susano. It was a small cave with a shrine dedicated to Nagi and Susano... soon Kanji would be there too. He felt Bella's chest ( Not a word -_- ) to make sure she was okay. There was no heartbeat. "B-Bella..?" He asked.

 

Realizing she was dead, a few tears streamed down his face... he didn't know what to do now. He wouldn't have even went to the Moon Cave if she hadn't been captured. Before he did anything else, he decided to give her one last kiss. So, he did... and her eyes came open slowly.
