"Yes... It should give us some answers." Akame agreed with Lee. "Maybe we will even find help wherever we end up going. We'll need that if we have to fight that Saiyan again." Akame muttered. "Now then... Let's go." She entered the train, and waited for Lee to join her.

[Firaga 5,947]

Lee / ??? / ???

 

"Understood! Whatever other worlds are out there, they can count on us!" He cried, entering the train with Akame.

 

-- Somewhere on the edge of Midway Station --

 

The Saiyan flew down, landing on top of a building. He took out some bandages and wrapped them around his right hand to stop the bleeding.

 

"At least its only a small cut... still, that was absolutely unbelievable..." The Saiyan said to himself.

 

"Pathetic. I expect more from you, Raditz," a small voice whispered into the man's device, spooking him. He had forgotten that he had his transmission audio turned up to max.

 

"Oh, it's you. What do you want?" "Raditz" said, unimpressed by the other person's menacing tone.

 

"What were you doing? You failed to execute the plan," the voice said.

 

"Yeah? I was improvising. Figured I could make those brats-"

 

"Improvisation is not a part of your orders. You were to eliminate them before they had a chance to leave." The voice stopped for a moment. "You are lucky we have a back up plan. Report back to the base. Now," it finished.

 

Raditz sighed to himself. "Who the hell put that brat in charge anyway..."

 

-- Back At The Train --

 

"Okay... um..." Lee studied the controls on the train. There was no conductor, or rows for people to sit on. It was a small enough to fit more than two people, but not that big enough to support at least five times the number. More like a small group.

 

"Let us see what happens if I do this," Lee said, pushing various buttons. Suddenly, the train started up its engine, and soon enough, the two were warped at light-speed across the very fabric of time on magical tracks, and ended up at the large space that separated the "worlds" apart.

 

"Wow! This is amazing!" Lee said, taking a look at the various planets that represented the vast array of homes and worlds in the space. "I wonder where we should go first..." Suddenly, the train started up again, heading towards a world that was decorated with a large skull and a very strange looking sun and moon hovering around it.

 

The two landed and exited the train, which disappeared in a flash and transformed into a small device that landed in Lee's hand. 

 

"Hmm. I guess there will be no worries about how to get back," he said, pocketing the device. He then took a look at where he and Akame were: standing in front of a large staircase leading to a huge, black building adorned with various skulls and giant red spikes.

 

"This is most strange..." Lee said, commenting the dark design.

"Well... We might as well go and find out where we are." Akame told Lee, then began to walk up the staircase. It was a long staircase, but it wasn't very tiring. She'd gone through much worse in her life. As she made her way up the staircase, she gazed at the town around them, and the people who were walking by. They keep giving me weird looks... Do we look too out of place? She thought to herself, becoming somewhat nervous.

Two teens walked down the stairs, glaring sharply at each other. Soul had his hands in his pockets, slightly hunched while listening to his partner rant about their latest argument.

 

"I told you I'd cook the curry, so why did you try to heat it up yourself?!" Maka asked, as her long coat brushed against the steps. Soul rolled his eyes. "Well don't blame me if you can't drop that book long enough to make food. A cool guy like me should never have to wait for a meal."

 

In reply, the girl slowly pulled out a hardcover novel and slowly stepped toward Soul. "You. Lit. The. Kitchen. On. Fire. Makaaaaaaa.......... CHOP!" With a quick blow to the head, Soul was sent rolling down the stairs until he nearly bumped into the newly arrived strangers. Noticing them as well, Maka stopped in front of them, curious.

 

"Hello, are you two new students at DWMA?" she inquired to the duo. "Don't mind my partner, he's a bit uncool sometimes."

 

"I'm always cool!" Soul barked, getting back on his feet. Dusting off his clothes, he stood behind Lee, scoffing at the choice of clothes.

"... Students? DWMA?" Akame looked confused by what these two were talking about. "We're not new students, we just wanted to know where we were." Akame informed the two. "My name is Akame, and this is Lee. We're both... travelers." She gave a quick explanation to the two. "Do you think you could let us know where we are, or if any strange people have been spotted recently?"

"You see, there is a strange man with long black hair and possibly more dangerous looking people going around... uh, they have been traveling for some time, like us, and could possibly have taken residence somewhere nearby," Lee said, covering up the fact that both he, Akame, and the thug they ran into were from different worlds.

[Soul Eater Evans 4,045]

Soul stared skeptically at the duo while Maka explained their location. "You're in Death City, standing right outside Death Weapon Meister Academy. As for strange people? Not really, I haven't seen anyone weirder than usual." Taking a quick glance at her partner, they immediately had the same mindset. "If he's really that dangerous, you'll need someone to help you, right?" Soul asked, leaning back. "The more people searching, the faster."

"Oh, would you like to assist us? That would be most helpful, especially since you know the area around here better than we do, correct?" Lee asked.

[Soul Eater Evans 4,045]

Maka nodded with a serious look on her face, thinking of places the man could have gone. "One of the places faraway from the main city is Hook Cemetery. He could be hiding there." She guessed, trying to contribute.

"'Hook Cemetry'? Alright then, please lead the way," Lee said.

Akame nodded. "We would appreciate it if you helped us." She said to the two, and listened to their suggestion of where their enemy might be. "Yes, please lead the way to the cemetery. Somewhere far away would make sense for a hiding spot." Akame agreed, and waited for the two students to lead the way.

[Soul Eater Evans 4,045]

"Alright, this way." Soul said, walking swiftly for the graveyard. The trademark entrance to Hook Cemetery greeted the teens as they arrived, a yellow moon smiling at them from the background. Kicking open the gate, Soul looked around nonchalantly.

"Hmm... this place is unlike anything I have ever seen," Lee said. Combined with the sight of Death City, the DWMA, Maka and Souls' appearances, and especially the big smiling moon, the graveyard was giving him an eerie feeling coupled with his curiosity. 

 

"Do you see anything?" Lee asked the others after a few minutes of searching and finding no luck in any suspicious activity.

Akame searched the cemetery silently. She'd been to many strange places in the past, so this area didn't really bother her at all. However, she did respond to Lee's question. "I have not found anything yet... He might not be here." She sighed.

[Soul Eater Evans 4,045]

With slow movements, a young teen walked out from behind a tree, smiling softly. With his dark clothes, he almost camouflaged with the surroundings as he waved cheerfully. "Hello there, come on in~ Take a seat anywhere, don't be shy!"

 

Observing the group slowly, he reached for the insides of his coat. "You're quite admirable looking here. You know how they have parameters in games? Like, you're good at magic, but your combat skills blow, or you're a great fighter, but you lack in the brains department. Yeah, I want to test that." Pulling out four knives, he quickly threw them at the group.

 

"Maka!" Soul yelled as he immediately turned into weapon form, leaping into Maka's hands as she deflected the projectile coming for her. Brandishing her scythe, she stared intently at their enemy. "Is this the one?" She asked.

Lee caught wind of the sudden stranger and dodge the knife coming his way.

 

"I am sensing a feeling I had when I met a strange man with brown armor. You, no doubt, must be an ally of him. What do you want?!" Lee asked, getting into a fighting stance.

Akame quickly turned to face the mysterious opponent, and managed to dodge his knife with ease. "I might be weakened in this world, but I still will not allow you to get away." She drew her katana, and stood in a defensive stance. "Who are you, and why are you here?" She asked, hoping to receive answers.

[Soul Eater Evans 4,045]

The adversary crossed his arms, absolutely beaming at Akame. "Oh my, I've forgotten to introduce myself. Pardon me." With a quick curtsy, he smiled ruthlessly. "The name's Izaya Orihara, and I just love humans. I wanted to have a bit of fun before we got into the deeper plans, but I don't hit girls. Mostly." Taking a few steps back, he figured it would be useless to charge head on into three enemies. "Anyone up for a bit of one versus one? How about you, in the jumpsuit? I can play around for a bit before I leave."

 

Maka scowled at their enemy, gripping her scythe firmly. "There's no time to waste. We should just attack him at the same time."

Lee

 

This man is very strange. Even stranger than the man Akame and I faced... Lee thought to himself.

 

"I agree. We cannot afford to let this man proceed with whatever he is planning. Are you ready, Akame?" Lee asked Akame on his right.

[Shulk 8,623]

Akame nodded. "I agree, we should all attack together. We could fall for a trap if we do as he says." She told the others. "I am ready to move when you are." She gripped Murasame, and gave Izaya a murderous glare.

"Okay! Let us all strike at once then!" Lee announced, waiting for Maka and Soul to take the lead.

[Soul Eater Evans 4,045]

Maka nodded at the duo, then dashed at their enemy with a burst of speed. Jumping on a tombstone, Izaya dodged the attack while smiling. Turning her body in the middle of her slash, the meister launched a kick at the man's hip, knocking him toward the others.

Lee took advantage of the aid by Maka and Soul and engaged the attacker.

 

"Leaf Combo Attack!" he cried as he aimed three kicks at him: one to his legs, one to his ribs, and one right under his chin.

Akame followed up from Lee's attack with her Murasame. It might have lost its ability to kill enemies in one cut, but I can still defeat this man without that. She thought as she ran up to Izaya, then quickly slashed at him multiple times.
