I'm bored and lame at making topics that are actually interesting, so here's me complaining about arbitrary things in geographical locations you don't care about while totally not giving creepy stalkers an upperhand:

 

The earth takes it upon itself to put me in the lowest, darkest, hole possible for maximum freezing at night:

No snow. Ever. In many, many years. Snow is actually an anomaly here. It feels the same temperature as when it snowed in Paris when I was there at the start of their winter, but no snow here. D:

 

It takes the whole reason why winter is fun away(because admit it, snow is the only good thing about winter, beside hot chocolate, of course). The most we get here is a ton of fog and frozen dew that melts quick and doesn't really look like snow and more like someone spilled a bag sugar on the very green, wet grass

 

To make the coldness even more cold, we're surrounded by mountains, the blue mountains, and all of that cold, mountainy air comes down and blows on me ;_;

{and if you look to the left at the grass in this picture you can see the aforementioned frozen dew that looks like a light sprinkling of sparkly lame not-snow sugar}

Yep...I can't wait

Miku here, shows my enthusiasm for winter and I often spill hot drinks on accident because of cold clammy hands

Actually im cold as shit right now tbh yay for staying up till midnight reading hentai n shit

 

Having to go outside everyday in the cold air will be so. much. fun ...yep yep yeppers..

It's just cold enough out west that I keep turning my heater on, but then comes exorbitant electricity prices simply for using the damn thing... (seriously, living here sucks in terms of weather since we miss all the moderating effects near the coast)

Hmm, Wikipedia claims that Victoria Australia (I am guessing that's where based on the arrow in the picture) only gets down to -11.7 Celsius. Sure that's below freezing But that's still pretty nice out. People around here probably could get away with a light jacket for those temperatures. Though depending on their constitution they might want a hat, scarf, and gloves.

Just in northern Illinois (a US state), and I might be a bit biased, because a few weeks ago we had -26c wind chill with basically the entire week with it not being unusual for the HIGH of the day being -11c. Not the low, the high. Having a low of -11.7c would be considered nice compared to that. And actually feel a bit warm.  Though you are right, generally I would be more likely to say that 4c is nice outside. Though I think my temperature of preference would be between 10c and 21c.

Snow is overrated, I live in Massachusetts and it just keep snowing... like it was nice at first but then you need to shovel, and shoveling is no fun... especially when you shovel, then it snows another 3 feet... and you have to do the whole thing again.... and the snow stops looking pretty, I mean it been the same snow outside since early January... January! We are in the middle of March! It is so f**king dirty it is disgusting... and it is just going to stay there till about mid-late spring... and its not even fun to play in the snow anymore... the snow is too icy to make a snowman not to mention I'm to busy walking in below freezing weather and getting snow in my shoes on my way to school! Snow is overrated.
