In this world there is the darkest of evils. This evil must always go somewhere: humans. From the beginning of time special humans have been cursed with this evil. These cursed ones are born with two souls; their own soul and the soul of an animal. These curses are sometimes viewed as gifts, for the cursed retain the abilities and minor features of their animal. Ancient tribes often worshiped the cursed, giving them the names of Taboo.

 

However, over the years the Taboo were hunted. In order to keep the curse hidden, the Taboo fashioned "Marks," a pendant worn as an accessory to suppress the curse and keep it a secret from the world. Once a Taboo developed his or her powers, a Mark of would appear in the form of something appealing to the person.

 

Unfortunately after years of being hunted, they were eradicated from the world. Now, humans have forgotten all about the curse and the Taboo; it's nothing more than obscure little Fairytales now. But the thing is, that might now not be the case.

 

It is now the twenty first century and humans have been cursed once more. Most don't know of their abilities until they reach the age of puberty. With the rise of new Taboo, it will be very and hard and dangerous to keep it a secret. Groups of people have began to hunt down the Taboo once more. Some to kill, and some who want to use the abilities of the Taboo for their own personal gain.

Personality: Henrietta is a very responsible mature young lady. Very kind and friendly, Henrietta often worries way too much of her loved ones, especially her dear father. This worry has often led her to being very stressed out.

Bio: Born to a Colombian native Laundromat owner, Henrietta spends most of her time in the back of her father's Laundromat. Her father hardly speaks English which is why Henrietta is fluent in Spanish. Her mother left her after she was born. Once Henrietta turned 13, she started noticing strange things about herself, and after getting stuck on the ceiling she searched for help. This led her to find a Librarian who was a Taboo who informed her everything about the Taboo. Unfortunately the Librarian was killed by a unknown person, and Henrietta was alone in her problem. Now with her Mark, a spider brooch, Henrietta hopes to find other Taboo.

Personality: Delilah is a very sweet and kind young girl. She is very observant and clever. She also loves getting information on people and getting inside people's heads.

Bio: Delilah's parents are divorced. Her mother and father work far too often to actually pay attention to their daughter's antics, so Delilah often finds herself alone and free to do whatever she wishes. She discovered her snake like abilities at the age of 12, and since then she always tries to find a moment where she doesn't have to wear her Mark. She knows a lot about the Taboo and her abilities, but it's unknown where she got the information from.

Weapon: Mikhail uses three different weapons, based upon the type of assassination he must complete. His primary weapon is a Type-54 Blackstar, a modified black handgun. For long-range, he utilizes a PGM Ultima Ratio sniper rifle, and lastly he uses an estoc for any close range encounters. 
Mark Collection: To date, Mikhail has collected Thirteen Taboos, which include:

~Mark of the Crescent Owl (An owl-shaped pendant.)

~Mark of the Scarlet Tiger (A Scarlet glove.)

~Mark of the Blue Wolf (A blue, furred headband.)

~Mark of the Undying Fox (A red, tattered scarf.)
Personality: Mikhail has little of a personality to speak of. He is cold to an absolute degree, and seems only for one purpose: to eliminate the Taboos. Perhaps it is part of his deathly mask, as his alternate personality is more charming and composed. 
Bio: Mikhail has no use for the Taboos, as he cannot use them. Perhaps it is jealousy for his inability to use them that he hunts all Taboos down without mercy. Mikhail lived his life in the most boring and droll way possible. Average at everything, and was fortunate enough to live a privileged life. He saw no challenge in life. There was nothing to make this world interesting....until, at least, the Taboos came to being. Mikhail was not lucky enough to obtain one, so perhaps he grew jealous of these Taboos and his lack of having something that made him unique and interesting. He took up marksmanship, and decided that his solution would be to make his life interesting by hunting these people, robbing them of their items, and selling them off.  
Skills:

~Incredible marksmanship. If he is using either of his two guns, it may be best to retreat.

~Mikhail is incredibly deft and lithe, and so he can masterfully wield his estoc. However, while he is nimble, any one strong enough could easily overpower him. Just expect for him to have some surprises.

Eating raw meat increases physical ability

 

Personality: Huey is a very friendly person. He enjoys long walks on the beach, and eating. That’s about it! Oh, and if you happen to run into Faustino from school, tell him that Huey is still very sorry for what happened to his cat. He’ll understand.

 

Bio: Huey is just about the most normal person you could ever imagine. He goes to school, does his homework, eats his vegetables, follows the rules, says nice things to his sister, obeys his parents, does not under ANY circumstances eat live animals, and has absolutely no knowledge of any mysterious tooth that may or may not have been implanted unofficially by a questionable doctor. I know that may sound a taaad bit suspicious, but trust me! Huey is an unequivocal, perfectly normal case. Yes, so flawlessly, hopelessly, painfully bland and normal. Although, I can’t be held accountable for any actions taken by people who believed everything said prior.

 

Oh, and there’s one more thing you should know about him. No matter what, when, where, how, or why, there’s one thing that will never change about Huey.

 

He’ll always get the last laugh. Hyeh heh ha ha!

 

He also likes fancy clothes, but that might just be a phase.

Has extra awereness of his surroundings.

 

Personallity: Serious but jokingly, always excited to do something or speak with someone he knows, kind and caring to those he trusts.

 

Bio: Max's curse was discovered two years ago after a cursed taboo user killed his family, he tracked the bastard down with his new skills and abilities and killed him and took his mark "mark of the hound", he swore to hunt other taboos even though he was one himself, although he has been known to let some live when he considers them good and not inherently evil, although he keeps a watchful eye at said subjects, he has been working as a hunter for two years and is experience, he only keeps the marks of those he killed only when they are "exciting" to hunt, must be something from his curse. He likes to not involve civilians but will step up to do so when needed, he keeps his equipment at his house and when he needs to move he has a backpack with everything he needs.

 

Skills: General awarenes and wit.

Doesn't give a damn about nearly anything (so he is calm and focused)

is skilled with the machete and the rifle due to training and experience.

Has been toughened up by the taboos the hunted, many hits were taken, he seens to be able to recover from injuries and pain faster than normal, not really noticeable though.

 

Favorite animal: He loves eagles, he sees them as majestic hunters and watchers, he can't help but like them, he also has an affinity with cats.

Bio: Born in a desert tribe somewhere in the Sahara. Since birth he was very skilled at hunting (animals and humans) and guiding people through the desert. During that time his perception and quick witted nature also got him involved in smuggling, black market deals and even small terrorist actions. At the age of 16 his tribe was massacred by a group of unknown people and since he has gone silent trying to exact his revenge on whoever committed the massacre.

Bio:

It is said that Rugos was a member of the Corvidane bloodline family,one of the wealthiest family whose specialize in gambling. Rugos was known as the "Black Gambler",where he gambles at the modern Casino with a successful negotiations and countless tricks up to his sleeves in order to win. To him,he always think that gamble was a game that has the greatest prize of fortune. Now that there will be a conflict between Hunters and Taboos,it will be a game where survival is his ultimate prize.

Personality: A social, aggressive, sarcastic, and dominant man. He is very rude or animalistic when unwelcomed people tread around his space or territory. He is usually only social and the tiniest bit nicer when around others with the same curse as him, mainly his family. If one threatens them or his pride, he won't hesitate to kill if needed, which he has done before. Because of this, he can be very gullible at times. Despite all of that though, he can be very lazy.
 

Bio: Ken is the oldest of two brothers named Chris and Ted (Or Teddy just to spite him) and is the top dog (Or cat, if you will...) of the bunch. Growing up, his mother and father taught him to always keep their home and territory away from intruders and to find a lover. After they left him and his brothers, the three looked after each other, because Ken wasn't really fond of finding someone to love. One day, a hunter came by their home to kill them and claim their Marks, but Ken wouldn't have any of that, and managed to kill the hunter after they hurt one of his little brothers. He was hurt badly, and it took a long time for him to recover. He was actually quite fond of the feeling killing... Now, he has a large scar across his chest from the incident, and he vows to gain respect and revenge from other hunters. He also wants to keep his Mark away from them.
