Ghost 1,857 Posted March 3, 2015 Idk I like learning weird or random facts about something and knowing NOTHING else about the subject. Makes for an interesting conversation for about two seconds. So, share some random facts you know here! Can be relating to anything. I'll share a few here and there myself. You may write as many facts/trivia as you like in a single post, just please separate it in every other line so it's easier to read Some female ants have wings until they mate, then they lose them. Clownfish have the ability to change/choose their gender. 1 Weedanort reacted to this

Psychic_Ketchup 367 Posted March 3, 2015 I always thought it was awesome that the VA who voices Basch in FFXII, with serious and near-archaic dialogue, also voices Bloo in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, where his voice is high-pitched and high-energy. And he also voices Marluxia. Keith Ferguson is the man.

HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted March 3, 2015 Dolphins sometimes just outright murder porpoises. They don't do it in self-defense or for food (obviously), they just sometimes group together and ram into porpoises until they die, then swim away. But hey, at least they're pretty cute! 2 HarLea Quinn and Hargleblargleboo reacted to this

Javelin434 3,164 Posted March 3, 2015 Ducks mate by having the males literally 'gangbang' the female [commonly 3 to 1], and the actions can actually result in the female's death. Oh, and the Argentine Lake Duck has a dick that's 16 inches long... 1 Hargleblargleboo reacted to this
Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted March 3, 2015 'Anastasia' is NOT a Disney movie. Sonic the Hedgehog's original name was Mr. Needlemouse. Princess Bubblegum and Marceline actually dated each other. Troy Baker played Excalibur in the english dub of 'Soul Eater'. Marluxia was originally supposed to be female. There exists ebola protection kits. Somebody in Harvard heavily promoted the drug, LSD. Bill Clinton can play a mean saxophone. and lastly... Tetsuya Nomura came up with the idea of Kingdom Hearts: coded when he was drunk.
Tigerruss 576 Posted March 4, 2015 Many breeds of dogs have a 5th claw on their front paws called a dew claw. Some owners get it removed, and some dog breeds have been bred not to have it. (various hunting dog breeds) And there are some cases where breeds have dew claws on both their front and back paws, or just their back paws.

Dave 5,715 Posted March 6, 2015 The style of baseballs used when Babe Ruth was playing were much softer in design, with the ball absorbing much of the impact of the bat's swing and making it much harder to hit it further. Today's balls, by comparison, are wrapped much tighter and designed to spring from the bat with maximum effectiveness. Considering that the Bambino managed to hit 714 homers with the softer ball, imagine what he could do by today's standards. Of course, maybe he wouldn't have: the pitcher's mound was also much lower in those days, eventually raised a few inches during the sixties and seventies in order to give the pitchers' back some of their edge.
