Backstory

Over the last hundred years,

In a world where gods, humans, and any race coexist,

 

The two leading kingdoms, Acacia and Samaria

fights a war to see who controls the World..

 

Who are you? What is your story? You decide!

Alright guys, I want to first say that I plan on this to be my first successful RP!

 

As you can see, the back story is rather short.. because it will be filled throughout the RP so expect the unexpected!

2.) No killing off a player's character!.

 

3.) Anyone can sign up for king/queen of any kingdom. However, expect to take responsibility for such a position! Your actions can change the whole course of your kingdom!

Bio: Born, raised, and trained as the son of Poseidon, Nero was born the youngest, and most prodigal out of all his brothers and sisters. He was occasionally brought to different parts of the sea, where he trained for long years in even the deepest of seas. He was trained as a battle-ready individual and at age 17, he was allowed to venture out onto dry land and join Samaria's military with his father's approval. He soared through the ranks and was the first rookie who was allowed on the front lines in the history of Samaria. He is current in a camp not too far from Acacia's front walls.

Power: His powers is what he trained for.

 

- Iron Body - when one trains the body so hard, it becomes as iron

- Skywalk - when one trains the legs so hard, it's capable of running on low density obstacles.

 

- Oh.. and it may not be much, but he can breathe and move normally underwater and can call his sea animal friends.... yeah..

 

His powers will grow during the RP

Alright guys, here's a little update on the kingdoms you have joined.

 

The Kingdom of Samaria is more of a magical citadel whose basis for everything is subjugated by the gods of the realm. They, in fact, aren't wrong at all because, in a world of gods and goddesses, they obtain power and what is called "magic" by these divine entities. People of Samaria believe that every supernatural event happens on a basis of magical events.

 

 

The Kingdom of Acacia, the most scientific and deistic kingdom in the world. Everything about 21st century biology, chemistry, and physics is integrated into their society. However, their only drawback is resources. Though they know how things work and react, they lack the technological and design prowess to improve these doctrines. Nevertheless, Acacia's people trust science more than magic. They gain a form of magic from gods and goddesses and evolve it to meet different situations. It is safe to say that nearly 90% of the population is well-versed in some type of science.

By dark magic I don't mean necromancy or anything of the sort, nor corruption either, I mean pure darkness like dark flames, dark elemental spells and the like, its all cool though.

Personallity: Cold, serious, but able to show simpathy and crack a few jokes here and there, shows a softer side with his close friends.

 

Race: Human (or at least he still thinks he is)

 

Bio: Jonathan was born from a normal family and lived a happy life in the kingdom of Samaria, sthriving to become a knight, however everything changed when his "magic" was awakened in him, he had a misterious and rare power called "void" which many feared but also respected and began to appreciate, as it seemed to not be as corruptive as darkness, soon enough gaining a normal reputation in the kingdom, Jonathan now serves with everything he can, although he gained the general public’s respect and praise, he can’t help but feel uneasiness around a few knight officials.

Power:

The power over nothingness, Void for short,  the unique thing about this power is that its magic element is unknown, as well as its source and origins, it seemingly awakened within Jonathan and he has now learned how to control it and use it at expert levels, with this power he is able to use a twisted version of Light and darkness, which seem to be combined into one element, this power is white and grey-ish in color, but can turn into black on certain spells. The element is unique that neither can it be felt as Darkness nor can it be felt as light, it can barely be sensed at all, almost as if there was nothing there, he can use this power in a variety of way, from taking a basic spell from the other schools of magic and make it his own void version of it to enhancing his fighting capabilities im a variety of ways, at the expense of power of course.

Something interesting to note is that this power has no elemental advantages over anything except light and darkness, as it has both of them in one element, however the void magic spells he uses have certain unique traits to them, an example being wind magic, which instead of allowing him to increase his speed allow him to "teleport" short distances, to which is stated by him that it feels as if he is de-materializing himself and materializing again, almost as if vanishing and reapearing.

 

 

 

He is also a skilled swordsman, training for most of his life to become a knight and the awakening of his void powers only served to fuel his desire to learn swordsmanship more.

Weapon:  The void blade  he calls “Existence’s end”

 

Sword he created with the help of a blacksmith and enchanted with the help of a mage, it adapts to his void powers, working as a custom catalyst for its magic attacks as well as being fully capable of being used in sword combat.

 

Kingdom: Samaria

Extra: Constantly suffers pain from overusage of the void power, as it seems to be drawn out of him, can and will pass out if he overuses it too much, pain goes away in a short while of not pushing himself.

With this power he can also seem to control ice magic, a different version of it as it simply feels cold and acts accordingly, it cannot freeze someone solid like normal ice magic, however this is not normal ice magic, it can hit not your body but your soul itself, ignoring normal means of defense like normal armor, and the damage dealt to the soul if far less than what the same attack would do to the body,  this also allows Jonathan to “drain” what he slices of the opponent’s soul, he however cannot break one’s soul or even steal it, he can simply sap its life force.

 

He is also a skilled swordsman, training for most of his life to become a knight and the awakening of his void powers only served to fuel his desire to learn swordsmanship more.

Sword he created with the help of a blacksmith and enchanted with the help of a mage, it adapts to his void powers and has two modes “Normal” which is its normal form which can be touched and is very sharp,  and the second mode “Soul Reaper” which is the mode adapts it to in order for him to attack the opponent’s soul, allowing it to bypass defenses and attack directly the enemy’s soul, however its damage decreases greatly (Roughly 65% less damage)

The sword’s size is about his arm’s length, he carries it on its sheath in his back.

 

Kingdom: Samaria

Extra: Constantly suffer pain from overusage of the void power, as it seems to be drawn out of him, can and will pass out if he overuses it too much, can be countered by draining from the enemy, however not by much.

- When it comes in the aspect of power..

• You're generalizing the aspect of Void. I'm seriously trying to avoid spoiling anything. All I'm saying is.. choose one specific power within the generalized power- and not its Erasure ability.
• The sword,"Existence's End," is rather godmodded. Piercing both defense and ones soul would prove to be very overpowered.
• Putting both together, and you have an Anti-living weapon.. which is immensely overpowered.

Well void can be a lot of things, but what is mostly decripted as is that it can erase things and people from existence, many games and animes use it that way to great effect.

 

any power is what you want it to be in my opinion, if you know how to use a certain magic element, you can do anything with it.
