KHRecoded king mickey's key?

Recommended Posts

There isn't really a grounded answer. Personally, I think he took the Starseeker Keychain back from Sora. Otehrs say Starseeker is simply more powerful. Other says more familiar. Some think he lost Kingdom Key D in events between KHII and Coded.

Well, Xion and Riku both did.

It's not a very heavily explored issue.

ok so why doesn't the king uses his kingdom key in coded?

Starseeker is Mickey's original keyblade. You see him practice with it in birth by sleep. But in kingdom hearts 1 he finds the gold keyblade or the kingdom key of darkness in the realm of darkness. In final mix their is a scene with Riku in the realm of darkness after he gets taken over by Ansem. Mickey tells Riku that he finds the key of that side (gold keyblade), the one needed to close the door. Which he did in the end. In kh 2 he use it to open the door to Xemnas. After that guess he didn't need it anymore, because the worlds were at peace. So might as well go back to his original keyblade right? :)

ps:I know some of you didn't play final mix. I didn't neither lol, youtube helped.

Well, in the BBS full ending,

we see Mickey returning not only the Star Shard, but also Star Seeker. Why would he return it, if it wasn't his Keyblade? Later on, we see Yen Sid returning it to him,

possibly to symbolize a succession between Master and Student.

If anything, I'd say it's a similar case with Aqua and Eraqus. Judging from it's appearance, Eraqus' Keyblade might possibly be one that is handed down through generations of wielders, from Master to Student.

Aqua being next in line was able to inherit the "Enix Blade," yet she is still able to use her own Keyblade.

in that case, i remember someone saying something about there being 'two' destiny places, they weren't generally the same keyblade, the person said, they just formed the same based on the memory, so maybe that is similar to king mickey and sora both having access to star seeker, idk what im saying, lolz

Yeah, the case of the two Star Seekers is similar to that of the two Destiny Places. While the Keyblades that take on that appearance are not one in the same, they are based after those same memories. Both Aqua's and Riku's DP are based after the memories of Kairi, but the two are different Keyblades altogether. Both Mickey's and Sora's SS are based after Yen Sid ^^

Starseeker is Mickey's original keyblade but there is no answer to why he doesn't use the Kingdom Key-D in Coded

id suppose that he only used the kk-d to close kingdom hearts, but then that leaves the question of why he used it in kh2
