I prefer Simple and Clean to Hikari.

I prefer Passion to Sanctuary.

I prefer Hikari to Sanctuary.

I prefer Passion to Simple and Clean.

So basically, Passion > Simple and Clean > Hikari > Sanctuary.

To be clear, I love them all.

If we're only talking about the English versions, then I prefer Sanctuary just because the song actually makes sense with itself...sort of. At least more so than Simple and Clean. The song makes no sense not only with the game, but just in general. Sanctuary doesn't even make that much senseems when compared to the Japanese songs. They actually talk about something that the games focus on. Hikari focuses on light, the entire basis for the series and Passion focuses on time passing by which is a big part of KH2. I don't mind them changing the songs into English for the U.S. release, I just wish they would at least have them make sensemble when in context to the game.

Both.

Sanctuary because of the (original) Days opening.

Simple and Clean because it gives me a sense of accomplishment and makes me imagine all the previously sad people having happy moments. (Which I hope happens with the reborn Org. members.) Not to mention it sends chills up my spine. It also got better with the 3D opening.

Passion and Hikari, Passion more so than Hikari.

Sanctuary and S&C are good too but eh, their translations are a bit awkward, especially S&C.

Simple and Clean, because of how I can easily interpret it as an innocent type of love song... Plus, the ending of KH1 may have also won [and broke] my heart on that matter...

Both songs are pretty badass, but I prefer Sanctuary.  I love the line: "You've shown me, how to feel, that nothing is whole and nothing is broken."  That part always sends shivers down my spine!  Simple And Clean is amazing as well, but it's been way too overused  in the games!  Don't get me wrong, it's a great song, but it's been exhausted in most of the games.  Heck, Sanctuary has only been in Kingdom Hearts II and 358/2 Days!  But yeah, as much as both songs appeal to me, Sanctuary takes the cake. :3
