The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted February 28, 2015 Well, Bill Farmer had said that all voice acting was complete, but then later said it was a misunderstanding. We haven't got any information from Square since then. I guess we'll have to wait until E3 to find out what's up regarding the status of the game. Although, since the game has been worked on since 2010, who knows how far the story is written? Nomura and the gang can be very unpredictable, so basically, we are in the dark concerning the story for now. 2 Forever and PillowHead reacted to this
Sorarocks93 678 Posted February 28, 2015 I do wonder why was Bill Farmer confused though. Maybe KH3D?

I think it's safe to assume he's right when he says that his voice-acting is complete, which could mean that Leonard Nimoy popped in at some point to record some dialogue. I kind of doubt it though since he's been so ill, but it's possible. Edited February 28, 2015 by Kaweebo 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

But if it's true that voice acting is completed, I hope that Leonard was able to lend his voice one last time.
hatok 6,413 Posted February 28, 2015 it's not done the script most likely isn't even finished yet, last we heard they were still picking which worlds to use 1 Sendou Aichi reacted to this

Komali 594 Posted February 28, 2015 Nomura started writing the scenario in December 2013 (maybe earlier) and we have 2015 now. There is a chance that the (important) dialogues have been done so far, but this is just speculation.
Kaweebo 3,617 Posted February 28, 2015 (edited) They have NOT been recording any English dialogue yet. Obviously, he's not the most credible source of information, but the idea that they're 'done' recording implies that they've started. Yes, they're done recording English dialogue for a Japanese game that's still choosing worlds with a team of 80-100 people on a big budget new gen game. Lol. G-SANtos 105 Posted February 28, 2015 (edited) They have NOT been recording any English dialogue yet. Err... Honestly, they could have recorded something for the next E3 trailer. Wouldn't surprise me if they're recording something for a KH3D port or he was hacked. Honestly, I doubt they are going to port KH3D before KH3 is released. They can release KHRe:3D as part of Kingdom Hearts III: Final Mix ++. Edited February 28, 2015 by G-SANtos

Have they recorded any dialogue yet? In English, probably not. But still choosing worlds? That was LAST year. No way they're still choosing them. Think positive, choosing them probably wasn't even a long process, Nomura and the team have had a good concrete idea on this game for years. I know you have a good reason to think this game's development is moving at a snail's pace but your grim outlook towards this game's behind the scenes can get a bit ridiculous at times. And they aren't going to do a KH3FM. Get up with the times. This I also disagree with. It's pretty likely even with DLC, Square will release a Final Mix edition, even if it is just a collection of all the DLC and a bonus one or two on disc. Square likes money, dude. Yeah, at Jump Festa, for the next month or so very little work was done. It's not grim. Lol. Quite simply the KH team is only about 80-100 people and they have been working on the HD collections for the past two years at the exact same time. KH3 is a big budget game and it takes awhile to develop one of those now. KH3 won't come out until late 2017 at the earliest. Have they recorded any dialogue yet? In English, probably not. Sora96 makes a good point in that he could be, mistakenly, referring to a KH3D port, but that's just speculation. The point is that Square has started voice-acting on SOMETHING Kingdom Hearts-related. I don't know how he could be wrong about starting unless he was outright lying or someone implanted fake memories in his head. I seriously doubt he was hacked.
