soniplushie 49 Posted February 27, 2015 I was just thinking about something, I'm not sure if it's been explained or not before, but why does the X-Blade have two Kingdom Keys crossing? And another thing, it's said that all the normal Keyblades were man-made and passed down, made to kinda be like the original X-Blade. So what if Sora has (one of) the oldest Keyblade(s), too? I just re-watched the new Re:Coded cutscene that was in 2.5 to be sure, because I knew it says something about Xehanort having "the most ancient" of Keyblades (and it does), so Sora can't actually have the oldest... Maybe someone took "forging Keyblades in the likeness of the X-Blade" too literally and copied a design on it? Or maybe there's something deeper about it that we (I) don't know yet, but whatever. 2 Charleskt and TimothyPese reacted to this
Exiblade7 1,917 Posted February 28, 2015 hmm... Maybe it's Noruma logic, but It's likely that this might get explained in kingdom hearts 3.

Or maybe there's something deeper about it that we (I) don't know yet, but whatever. with all keyblades that are man made being based upon the design of the X-blade, the most prominent feature, the kingdom key, would be replicated. Seeing as the KK is the most basic of all man made keys it would point to that conclusion. I doubt sora has one of the ancient keyblades (faction leader keyblades) the only thing that is in soras possesion that has been hinted to have a direct link to the time of the keyblade war is the journal. But in short, all keyblades look like the kingdom key from the x-blade, not the x-blade has two kingdom keys on it, x-blade came first.
