Not only is SG not fully Disney, most fans won't even know about Spirited Away. Plus, it's not high in demand nor popular enough sadly. By that logic, something like One Piece should be considered a FUNimation property instead of that of the original Japanese author/publishers. It is not a Disney or Square production (or otherwise heavily associated with it, ie. The Nightmare Before Christmas), therefore it should not be brought to such prominence within the series. Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) I say this every time a thread like this pops up. Disney does not own Studio Ghibli, they're just business partners. Disney only publishes and distributes Studio Ghibli's films in NA, thus they do not have the rights to the settings or characters and therefor can not license them for inclusion in KH. I think that Studio Ghibli is one of the only properties outside of major Disney animated films and Pixar films that would actually fit the tone of the Kingdom Hearts series.
