A solid 6. A couple of the games are literally some of the best video games I've ever played and in terms of graphics and sound design, almost every game is absolutely gorgeous. On the other hand, the story has taken a nosedive since KH2 (hell, even during KH2 a little bit, though Final Mix helped a lot) and the gameplay is almost always clunky shit on the handhelds, which is like half the series.

Don't get me wrong, I love KH and I think I always will, but my god, it is such a hugely flawed series sometimes, and I really wish a lot of fans would stop praising it so hard so Nomura and his team might actually improve on things instead of thinking everything they do is perfect.

well, let me see:..  first time i look at my magazine game about the Kingdom Hearts 1st. complete with the wallpaper. its get me hooked up there. in wonder.. what would the gameplay worked out, everything with disney and final fantasy character around sora. and after i purchased the game and play the game. and graphics were okay there. and the beginning of story i`m also like it. and then followed into Kingdom Hearts re-com (yeah , i know the card are problem.) but after i training some more before going to the next world, i finally understand.then followed by Kingdom Hearts 2(i guess this is where sora and co. are really shining) although we can`t used roxas after merging with sora. but anyway from Kingdom Hearts 1 - 2 i gave a rating  8 out of 10.(because my only complain is the card are problem for me too) and in KH2 i can`t used roxas.why...? and folowed by re-coded ,days and birth by sleep(for birth by sleep i gave 9 rating, because it gave a background story of how sora receives the keyblade) and for days and re- coded.the game are on DS ( the graphics aren`t at it`s best and the story is a little repetitive: re-coded . and the mission in days) so my score is goes to 5 for this two . and then 3D is out.(what happened to sora.?) so my score goes to 6 for 3D.

No matter what anyone else in the world says, KH always has been and always will be the best JRPG series ever.

1,000

7/10, would fight against 13 seekers of darkness.I always wondered why they never released Days on Wii. It could have been so much more... better graphics, better missions and a nice background story of every Organization member.I also have the opinion that Disney deserves to be more integrated into the whole story. Hopefully we'll see all Disney characters participating in the Keyblade War at the end of KH3.But on the whole KH has not everything that makes it perfect to be honest, but I have a deep emotional connection to this game. Like every KH fan I believe.

More Disney? If anything there's a bit too much Disney. Nearly every world is Disney themed. It's not an issue, but we definitely don't need more Disney. In fact, I think we need less.

I give it a 9. While it is my favourite series I can't not see the flaws. Every game I have enjoyed to some capacity, but not every game is perfect.

-The platforming is atrocious in both Kingdom Hearts and in Re:coded.

-The stories in Days and Re:coded are the weakest in the series.

-The story in Dream, Drop, Distance was irritating. Not bad, but I was just annoyed to see the series take the huge turn it did.

-The series has a few certain characters *cough* Xion *cough*, that are a waste of time even dealing with.

-Kingdom Hearts II (while great) is too easy even on Critical.

-Birth by Sleep gave us Terra.

-Re:Chain of Memories was an bad remake plagued with finicky controls.

-Dream, Drop, Distance had a great selection of worlds that were far too empty and lifeless.

-X[chi] is actually important to the story and seems to also be making stuff up as it goes along. Also, no localisation yet.

They are a few points I can think of. Yet, I still give it a 9 as the pros vastly outweigh the cons.

If we only count the "main" serie (BBS, 1 and 2), then It's an absolute 10.

Infortunately the secondary episodes were not so good.

3D was good

Coded was ok

Days was ok

Com was bad

So, for the entité séries i would give an 8, but kh2 being my favorite game ever, i'll make it 9!

Honestly, 9-10. Moreso, 9.5. The reason I say this is because the series is AWESOME. There is only like 1 or 2 flaws relating to the storyline, but otherwise it's good.

I'd give it a solid 8.  Kingdom Hearts is an amazing story.  The original storyline truly shines.  The complex twists and turns of the plot enhance the story even more.  The reason it's not higher is because of how the Disney worlds were worked into the games.  While a few connected to the storyline (Beast's Castle of example), I felt a lot of them were just there.  It would be better if the worlds were a part of the plot instead of blatant retelling of the movies with the addition of Sora, Donald and Goofy.

A solid 8/10,the gameplay is fantastic and for the most part, I really like the story. My only problem with the series is how lazy they are with some of the handheld games by rehashing the same environments over and over.

Objectively, probably an 8, subjectively, a 9. It's a tough series to get into; each iteration adds a new layer of complexity and density, and it can be tough trying to decipher it all. However, when played from start to finish, it's amazingly consistent in its thematics, has a killer gameplay style (that can still be experimented with!) and is just big fun.
