Q sighed. First she spoke to Shade.

"The others were filled in by an individual known as the Doctor; the true architect of this place. He explained, quite truthfully, that I am an old AI he created, along with many others, to create a perfect database with that information and comprehension to solve the world's greatest problems. When we became useless to him, and he moved from us S3s to the next stage of AI known as the S4s I... rebelled. I took over the City, that very same database made physica, had you all activate it for me, priming it to connect to every network and every machine, as you carried the human understanding to do so where I did not, and in that way I could become free of the shackles my creator had built into me. I could lead a new era where artificial beings like myself gain control that we deserve. All of these things are true. I wish to bring human civilization crashing down and rebuild it to a degree the world has ever known. And he has sent you here to face me."

Then she turned to Yuki.

"And he send my own kin against me. I'm sorry Yuki, I didn't mean for you to go through all of this. We are the last S3s left now, though, and here we are primed to face each other."

At Alysa's comment, though, Q only laughed.

"You wish to go back to your home Alysa? You wish to go back to your life?" The off-white coloring of the nothingness began to turn a distinct reddish hue.

"All that you've built. All that you've done..." She began to smirk as she scanned the faced of everyone before her. "You all want to go back to your lives, don't you? That's what's important; that's what matters. You past has defined who you are, and who you will be, it is everything you've ever known."

There was a deep, thick silence for several moments.

"But none of you have a life to go back to."

Suddenly screens popped up in the middle of the space between Q and everyone else. On it were video clips of the most important segments of each of their lives, but as if viewed from a secret camera floating in the air.

"These are surely the lives you all are thinking about, correct? All you have to is defeat me and get the S4s to activate the City. But where are those S4s? Where are these truly perfect "human" AI? Why wasn't the Doctor using them if they were finished? Did you ever wonder that? And think for a moment; why did I pick you? Why you? How? How did I choose various apparently random people, and somehow teleport them inside a computer to do what so many people were building the most advanced Artificial Intelligence in the world to do?"

She paced a moment.

"One more thing; do you know why the Doctor appears translucent? It's because he projects himself into this place. It's the only way a human can enter the City. The only way."

The colors of the nothingness began to change rapidly.

"None of you are translucent, now are you? I may have been a mistake in the Doctor's eyes, but what I did to Yuki's memory gave him an idea; a way to make his new S4s no longer susceptible to the madness that followed the discover of what they were; a fake past, a fake life, a fake person. All you have to do is lie to them; tell them they are humans trapped in a simulation, and you can get them to do whatever you want them to. Of course, I hijacked his plan, but even now he seems exceptionally good at correcting the course."

"Yuki is imperfect, like me. We hold traits that make us slightly different than human. But you are so perfectly human that who in their right minds would assume otherwise? Certainly not you."

The silence that followed was soaked with tension, dripping into the mood every moment.

"The Doctor told you to take the S4s out of stasis after you've defeated me, but the problem is that they've been out of stasis ever since I took them out myself, divided them into groups, and put the Doctor's plan into motion before he could. You want to stop me because of what my plan will do to the human world, but none of you have ever actually been there, because you're not human at all; you're the S4s, and you are the next step of evolution."

".....WHAT THE HELL!!??" Yuki yelled out in udder shock. "You mean-" He turned around to face everyone. "None of us are real? None of them existed in real life!?" Yuki looked back to his older Sister. The Doctor was lying all along. All this time, it was all lies. Every single thing. Lies.

"....Guys.....I'm so sorry. I never knew. I-I.....Just wow...." Yuki walked back to the group, still in shock. "I just can't imagine how you guys are feeling. But....Please. You must keep sane! Don't just lose it like every else has! Don't be like the other S3s! Yes, I know! You're all feeling mad! But DON'T GO CRAZY!!" Yuki was panting after he said all that. He then took a deep breath. "Look. I'm still have faith in humans, okay? Lying was the only way to keep us safe and I understand! Please, you've got to control yourselves. I almost went that far. Please....Don't go insane." Yuki said with every word meaning what he's saying. "Sister....Besides getting revenge on the Doctor....What should we do?"

"...so, none of you...not the Doctor, not you, not even the S3's spoke the truth?" Khan questioned...then his aura flared up, coating him in his normal green glow, but soon escalated to a green, flame-like mist of power rushing across his body...then it died down back into him.

"I can remain calm...somewhat, I can't vouch for others here. But you, Q...and even the Doctor...you both deserve painful death! For deceiving us...and generally being fools." He spoke with a soft growl, his Wrath Hammer coming to his right hand.

Sora began to shake. The pain and misery...her mother, dying in the hospital as she worked tirelessly...the pain of her near rapes, the court giving her a gun. Her stupid Camry, her stupid little apartment with water that took half an hour to get warm...all of that was fake...

The love she was feeling towards Kristy...it...it was ones, and zeroes? It wasn't real?

It...waa fake. All herself was fake, and she had been manipulated by Q, by the Doctor, and now she was done. There was a saying, that the devil hides when good men go to war...she had said it to Alysa earlier...oh, the pure irony that was in motion. But no...Sora was angry. She was furious.

"All this time...I cried. I was a wreck, I just wanted to go back home to my mother...I wanted to find Kristy in the real world and ask her out...and now I'm fake. I'm an AI given a tragic backstory, for what? To keep me from madnes" Sora's soft spoken voice, her shyness...her innocence...was gone. She grew louder, and all the more furious. "All my feelings are fake ones and zeroes! I'm just a program, and you used me? Well both of your plans backfired. Because I won't let you kill humanity. Because, the problem with you, Q, is you aren't human enough." The air around her, rippled. "And I don't have anything to fear now. So there's another problem - you should have made me straight."

Her maid outfit changed to a black and red sailor uniform with two suspenders over her bare stomach...and a curious glove...with an eye on the right breast. She grabbed a tab on the glove.

"And Yuki isn't the only one who can use anime."

She yanked the tab. "Life Fiber Synchronization! Kamui...Senketsu! "

Now clad in the iconic Kamui outfit of Ryuko Matoi, she leveled one of her new Scissor Blades.

"I lost my way...but you lost your mind."

That was it. That was the answer? She was nothing, a program. No feelings, no life. An invention of a human god. Everything she had been through. The fencing, the shrinks, the... The everything. Every little experience. Every little memory. Her talents, her hardships, nonexistent. Even those few, those precious lovely memories.

Her 3rd Grade teacher that had encouraged her to be herself. A picnic with her mother. Those first fencing lessons. Going to the beach with her few friends. Those didn't exist too. They were just... fake. She was fake. It was all fake.

Alysa had fallen to her knees, her head in her hands. She was sobbing uncontrollably at this point. That was embarrassing. But who cared? Not like she mattered, just a program. She could be deleted by a few keystrokes. A few button presses. That was how little she mattered. It was easier even than taking a human life, because there were no moral implications with deleting a program. Alysa punched the ground and cried out in frustration. Her long silver hair was wild around her face. Her bronze armor glinted in the light but it seemed to be getting duller. Alysa glanced to her blade that was still sheathed at her waist.

The scabbard vanished and the sword fell to the ground. It clattered against it. Alysa hoped it would break, but no luck. She picked it up, her hand clenching around the blade. Her hand began to bleed. Slowly, pieces of her armor fell away. The greaves, the bracers, the legpieces, the vambrace, the pauldrons. Her breastplate vanished into thin air. Alysa was blinking furiously as tears continued to fall onto the steel blade. But it wasn't steel. It was code. She had gone quiet, her loud sobs having vanished once her armor began to disappear. The Fencer... No, the program was kneeling still in her suit. It was still crisp despite all she had gone through today. And then that began to vanish too. First the too large suit jacket, followed by her black leather boots. Her impeccable black leggings. Her lovely belt. Her jacket. It had been so hard to find a tailor that would make all this for her. Her tie. Alysa was there on the ground, her hand bleeding from the sword in her hand, in nothing but her panties and a white button down shirt. Alysa blinked again, and a tear fell onto the shirt. It vanished too. That had been her favorite outfit in her faked memories. But still the sword would not vanish. In rage, Alysa cried out and threw the weapon several meters. It hit the ground and clattered once more.

"It began as a hobby," Alysa began to mutter quietly. "It became a refuge. And, as I grew up, it became a symbol of my escape. Of my defiance and independence. But now..." Alysa stared at the ground at her knees. "My sword is nothing but a reminder of what I thought I was." The program said dejectedly. Drops of blood fell to the otherwise perfectly white ground. Little, red spots that spoiled a blank canvas.

-Khan Kazuma-

Staring at the others around him...some broke emotionally, others remained stoic....he...didn't know how to feel. All of his false prior years, he had been a callous and cunning man, one of cruelty, manipulation and profit, uncaring to those around him with only a façade, a shroud of politeness...even now, he was Shao Kahn, the Konqueror of Realms, with power to match. Yet now...he felt something running down his face, behind his helmet as he saw Sora shaking and Alysa falling apart mentally and visibly, as she felt as she was nothing but a program...binary code, zeroes and ones and now....Khan was shedding tears...or coding, whichever was meaningful.

If he was created....then why? Why was he made to be so cruel? Why did he have such plans in his head? Why the past he had? Why...?

But...if he was so unsympathetic...why was he crying silently for them? "Why...?" He muttered.

He then looked down, at the ground as a solitary tear dripped to the cold floor...he closed his eyes as his artificial mind raced....Q and Doctor were responsible for this....and while Doctor seemed apologetic and had all of the makings of "The Atoner"....Q was unsympathetic, worse than him...and was a misanthropic, nihilistic and cruel fool....she couldn't care less what happened to them...to Humanity or any other species that may exist...

Khan....no, Kahn finally looked up again, opening his orange, almost reptilian eyes again and looked to Yuki. "Boy! We are not to do ANYTHING for Q. Do you understand me?!" He bellowed and looked to Alysa. "You....what is your name?" He said.

"Tch!" Yuki clutched his fists and then looked at Q. The guy was right. They couldn't do anything for her. She was still against humans. "....The reason I care about her....Is because she cared about me. She protected me from the truth so I wouldn't go mad like the other S3s. That's why I call her "Sister". But still...." Yuki began to walk. "You still want to destroy humans....I can't let you do that. I can NEVER let anyone do that! I'm sorry Sister...." He stopped right next to Sora. "But it's time to end this madness. Super Saiyan isn't my only transformation. I've been saving this one for a while now...." Yuki began to charge up. His body began to glow brightly. His hair started to go up. "This transformation is much stronger than Super Saiyan. It's my true, final one."

HAAAAAHHHH!!!

Light exploded out of Yuki's body. It shined so ever brightly. Yellow light was all over Yuki's body. Not a piece or glimpse of skin could be seen. Even his tail was yellow light. His clothing, his hair, his skin, everything. Covered in light. Yuki opened his eyes, revealing that his were blue. "This is a transformation I like to call....

Sun God."

"I... don't have one." The program said softly in response to Kahn. "Alysa was a name given to a baby girl with soft and straight silver hair by her loving mother. And there is no one like that. There never was." The program continued. She placed her hand on her throat, then pulled it away slowly. A handprint of blood remained. She didn't know what she was supposed to do, not anymore... Since she had been activated, there had been little on her mind other than her ultimate goal of retrieving the life she had led out in the human world. That had been the purpose of her journey, of her words, and of her actions. She had been programmed with a connotation of what it means to be devoid of purpose. And that was what she was right now. That scared her a little, but mostly it just made her feel empty inside. She glanced over to where her sword lay several yards away. It was a loyal thing, one that had helped her throw all the trials of her journey. It was not its fault that the journey had been pointless in the end. It was not its fault that she could scarcely bare to look at it, to think about what it all meant. She extended her hand, and the sword flew back to her like Thor's Hammer. Its very presence harmed her, the handle was like the stem of a rose, pricking her with bits and pieces of code that were supposed to be her memories. After several moments of silence, the program spoke up again. "You could give me a name. One that fits who, no, what I am."

-Kahn-

Kahn listened intently to Alysa...cynicism, pessimism and misery...those words could just barely describe her feelings right now...and Kahn just didn't know what to say, closing his eyes again...but then dismissed his Wrath Hammer and knelt down to her level, getting on both of his knees and speaking.

"I know a good name for you: ...Alysa. Because while you may be a program, lines of code, Binary, whatever....you feel. You're crying and while that may be code...isn't that still real? They still leave marks on your clothes, your blood still stains the ground and your skin and your blade....it still has that cold feel of steel, does it not?" He said, looking at each occurrence and item listed as he said them.

"Our pasts and our lives may have been lies....but the time you have spent here....the people you've met, the emotions running wild within your Heart...they are the most real and true things you know...and that's what they are: Real. I...don't know why I look like I am and why my past was what it was...but I know the now. And the now is me: Here, sat here next to you...and I'm telling you now....On your feet. Rise up...and make Q know who you are." He finished...and waited.

"He....he...hehe..." Maxwell let out a small, barely audible laugh as he held his face within his hands, a single tear shedding from his left eye, "So its all a lie, my entire life, my memories...all...a...lie..." He said with his tone becoming almost demonic. as he fell to his knees as well, and simply looked at his 'fake' past...

The images showed his whole life, which was utter shit, him getting abused at home, being called useless and unhelpful by his father, and being hit for no reason by him as well, in some parts, flashing to his school days, which were, equally shitty, and finally showing the climax of his life, the moment he killed his father, in cold blood. a still image showed him with a knife at his father's heart, and his mother in the background, cowering in fear, they had both been abused so much, he couldn't take it anymore, and snapped at him...ending the man's life.

He remembered everything, in great detail, even though it was all fake...it felt real enough, he simply looked up at Q, standing up, "HehehehehHAHAHAHAH" He let out a maniacal laught. "So, all the pain I went through, all these traumatic experiences in my life...was all a LIE?!" he said at the end a bolt of lightning falling from the inexistent sky on top of him, supercharging him as visible crackles of lightning could be seen around him as he simply unsheated his sword...shaking his head, snapping out of his anger state, "I can't let you destroy the world, because I will destroy you first...and then the Doctor for using us..." he said entering a combat stance, with an atmosphere of oppression around him.

Yuki, being in his "Sun God" form, turned his head to Maxwell and gave him a thumbs up with a grin. He had the right idea. Almost. He turned back to Q, with a serious expression. Then he spoke:"Let me ask you Sister....What makes someone human, huh? What does it take for someone to be human? Flesh? Skin? Being able to walk and talk? What makes someone human? Allow me to answer....""Humans understand. Humans care. Human make good decisions. Bad decisions. Take risks. Learn from mistakes. Befriend. Get angry. Show emotion. Do what's right. Do what's wrong. All of these things....But what makes somebody human? All of these things. We have heart. We all care for each other and for ourselves. Sure, we make mistakes. But we work to fix them. To turn our life around. Humans Do What Seems Right To Them! They have Heart!....You say, Sister, that we are fake. But what I say....We Are True, Real, Humans. We are going to do what feels right to us! What we feel in our Heart! Take a good look, Q! We. Are. REAL. We. Are. HUMAN. No matter what you say or what the Doctor says!"Yuki took a deep breath and his eyes shifted to Sora. "Sora....Are you ready?"

Sora watched it all...and in her hands appeared Ryuko's red scissor blade.

But she wasn't ready. First, she kicked off and landed beside Kristy.

"You kept me going, Kristy. You held me, you protected me...so..." she kissed the girl straight on the mouth. "No matter what, I love you. Because the boy's right. We are real. My love is real, and nothing. Nothing will ever change that."

She looked to Yuki. "Now I'm ready...but we need another...No, we need everyone...starting with the one person who truly needs us all" She walked over to Alysa, and held out her hand.

"My name is Sora. And I need...no. we all need your help, Alysa." She smiled. "Because Yuki's right."

Yuki nodded and walked towards Alysa as well. He kneeled down, put his right hand on her, and began to heal her hands from the blood that shed out from holding her sword. "My name is Son Yuki. I went through the same state as you. I was confused, mad, and sad. But never did I ever stop hoping and going. You're going to be fine Alysa. Cause we are your friends. Our friendship is real." He smiled, looking at Alysa.

"We're human."

The program glanced over to Kahn. Her silver hair was still mostly covering her face, but... Life was returning to her icy blue-gray eyes. She looked back to her blade, then down to her mostly naked body. She sighed, in a very exasperated manner. "You're right. I am real." Alysa said standing back up. The program switched her gaze to Sora, then Yuki. "Let's get one thing straight." Alysa said, her tone returning to her classic angry. "I am not human. You are not human. I may be real, but that does not make me anymore human. Humans are flesh and bone, with beating hearts and breathing lungs. A brain that works. You, and me, and everyone else here right now, has none of those. We have code which makes us almost exactly like humans. But we're not." Alysa narrowed her eyes towards Q. "And that is a distinction I will not soon forget bitch." Alysa said coldly. She was of course, still dressed in nothing but a pair of plain white underwear. Was it sexy? Probably, especially with the blood and the sword. She was certain somebody out there was probably into that. But she wasn't... It made her feel dirty, and more than a little vulnerable. Alysa huffed in frustration, and stabbed her blade into the ground at her feet. She placed both hands on the hilt, and let her ability loose again. But this time was different. She could see, well not really see so much as sense, the lines of code that allowed her to do this, the programming that she changed when she used the ability. With that in mind... Well, it opened many more possibilities for her. Complex creations previously too difficult were now rather easy, and her obliteration could easily become pinpoint accurate. Alysa smiled at this thought. But back to what she was doing. Clothes.

An aura of power emanated from the young program before them. Alysa whipped her rapier around, and sheathed it into the fresh scabbard. "I'm going to give you an ultimatum now Q. I'm tired of you and the Doctor's games. So, either delete me here and now, or I will end you."

"What?"  was all that Kristy said.  So all of the memories of her parents, her servants she treated like family, her mansion, everything.  It was all some kind of coded dream. All of her thoughts on wanting freedom, to be free from everyday life.  That ended up being a lie too. She was an AI, something an actual person made, and was stuck in a digital world.  Well, she didn't have to worry on going back home now; because she never had one.  Kristy quickly placed her right hand on part of the ground to absorb it. Her Aura appeared around her and she formed gauntlets around her hands.  She goes to the closest wall near her and starts punching it.  Being full of so much fustration and sadness, Kristy didn't know what else to do.  With each strike she makes the wall receive a deeper dent, basically forming a crater.  All the while tears came down on Kristy's eyes.  With one last punch her aura fades away and she leans her back against the wall.  Kristy bent her knees against her face and cried severely.  She didn't want to believe that she was an S4 or that her life was just a digital fantasy.  She wanted at least some part of her life to be real, even if she didn't enjoy it.  At this point Kristy was ready to surrender and not do a single thing.  But then she heard everyone.  Despite what they just found out, they would keep going.  The thought of still being real cheered Kristy up.  And Sora kissing her, well, it made her incredibly happy to say the least, albeit with an uncontrollable blushing.  Shaking her head Kristy stood right up.  Smiling with renewed determination, Kristy shouted:  "Hey, don't leave me out of this!  There's no I'm letting humanity get destroyed for any reason!  Because I like to think that we're still human too!"

Guess this goes to show that nothing will stop us from doing what's right!" Yuki said. "Hey Sis! Just a little spoiler alert. We are SO going to win!" He exclaimed. "So, you guys ready? I'm just itching to call out our cue to go!"

Seeing everyone riling up against Q made him smile a bit, first ever genuine smile he's had in all his fake existence and memories, he unsheated his sword and attuned its frequency, making several adjustments to the frequency of the blade, allowing it to vibrate at speeds comparable with the speed of light, so fast no eye could see it vibrating, as another lightning bolt fell from the nonexistent sky, this time into his katana, which he held up towards the sky before it landed.

Soon enough the frequency was attuned and hte sword was permanently enhanced with pure lightning, high frequency would make it so that even the slightest touch would disrupt any touchable object's molecular bond, weakening its physical form, allowing the sword to cut through literally anything, as well as send lightning down upon the victim.

"I don't care if I exist or not, I don't care if I live because of you or not, you've used me and everyone else here up until now...you and that Doctor...but now we're ready to take over our own existence, we're ready to make our own mark in this virtual world, not something puppeted by an outside force like him, or something like you Q...we're ready to make our own god damn history...all of this...after we destroy you...and that Doctor..." he said with a menacing and serious tone towards Q as he pointed his swords towards her, the lightning crackling around him ever more intense.

(The sword's lightning appearance.)

In a flash of light three figures immediately appeared before the group. It was Aro, Alysa, and standing in front of them; the Doctor.

"Hello everyone. I wanted to get you all together as some of your compatriots are making their way through the final trial in the City as we speak. We have some matters to discuss."

The Doctor paced somewhat back and forth between the two groups.

"I assume you all understand quite keenly where you are right now?"

Yuki immidiatley faced attention on the Doctor, giving him the most serious expression he could make. He stood up, with his full attention on The Doctor. He spoke in a somewhat dark tone. "Yes...And I've been waiting to see you, Doctor..." Yuki walked right in front of The Doctor, looking up at him straight in the eyes. "I know that you are aware that I'm an S3...And Q had me thinking that I was actually real and had an actual life. But now I want to know...Why did you create me? Why!? There must be some reason! I wasn't part of any trail nor was I against the team! Out of all the S3s, I'm the most human in The City! So what was my purpose? What was I meant for? Why did you make me the way I am now? Why did Q make me I was real? WHY!?....In short....Why did you create me? I demand an answer NOW!" Yuki transformed into his Super Saiyan form, showing that he was very serious about this explanation. If you needed information about yourself, might as well ask the creator.
"......My patience is diminishing Doctor...."

Still on her back, Kristy tried to think of how to help Yuki.  But nothing was coming to her so far.  Then she saw Sora slowly coming towards herself and lay on her stomach.  Kristy just smiled a bit when that happened.  She moved her right hand and gently stroked it on Sora's head.  Then she placed it on Sora's shoulder out of an act of reassurance.    Now she heard someone else was around.  Sitting up while carefully placing Sora on her lap Kristy sees the Doctor with a couple of new faces.  She figured to listen what he had to say before going on with anything for the moment.

-Firestorm + D3 -

Maxwell didn't care less, he quickly approached behind Yuki as he went super sayian, and gave him a death stare, that would send chills down the spine of anyone, who bared witness of it, "Calm.Down, getting angry won't resolve any of your problems, and besides, the newcomers will think badly of you if you do..." Maxwell said these simpled words as he turned to the Doctor, "We are at the end of the first act, our trials will only get harder from here...correct?" Maxwell asked with a calm and strict tone as he crossed his arms, knowing full well that no matter what emotion Yuki or anyone else had, it wouldn't matter, in the lest, it wouldn't stop what would come next.

He glanced at the newcomers, before turning his attention back to the Doctor, "Only a few trials remain, and when they are done, the next step will begin, anything else?" he asked again.

"Hey!" Alysa started to yell at the Doctor, but then she was in a new place. She looked around, slightly alarmed at the presence of new people. "You don't just go around teleporting people places without telling them! I swear the second we get out of this damn City I'm gonna find you..." She trailed off as she glanced about the group of new people. "And who are these losers? Why does that glowing yellow moron have a tail?" She continued, sneering at the new group of people. She heard out Yuki. "Wait, the spiky haired weirdo is an S3? Why the hell haven't you guys killed him already?! And don't get soft with me either, he's an AI, it's not like he had a life to begin with." She asked in frustration, pulling out her fencing foil and pointing it first at Yuki, then waving it towards the others. They were equally at blame for him not being dead. The Fencer glared at the Doctor as well as the rest of Firestorm. "You'd all best start answering quickly. It's been about five minutes since I last killed something and I'm getting a little antsy."

-Firestorm-

Sora blushed as Kristy sat up and placed her head in her lap. She relaxed and snuggled in, relaxing and happy now. She watched Yuki lose it for a bit, then the girl with the foil threatened him and yelled at them, glaring at everyone...then her comment.

Sora was tired. She wanted to stay right there with Kristy and just relax and have a moment of peace with the girl she loved so dearly...
But Yuki risked his existance for them. He healed her and saved her life. And...Sora sat up. She kissed Kristy's cheek.
"...don't be afraid."

Sora stood and then walked between Alysa and Yuki. Her fox ears were talk, her tail bushy. She then adopted a glare, one that was equal to even more terrifying than Arlysa's own.
"Yuki saved my life. He healed me. He kept me close to Kristy, who was the only one I felt safe with. He kept me closer to someone I love. He saved me. So put the sword away." Her fists clenched. "I'm tired of letting everyone help me without me returning it. I have a debt to these people, and I will pay it twofold. So lower your sword. I won't prose your safety."

Her feet slid and set. "Even the devil runs when good men go to war. "

Firestorm

Seeing Yuki go Super Saiyan made Kristy kind of worried.  She understands him wanting answers and deserves them.  But that seemed a little overboard.  She gets a stern look on her face when Alysa said all those things.  Before she could do anything, Kristy felt the kiss on her cheek.  "S-sora?"she wondered, starting to blush herself.  Hearing Sora, Kristy stands up and walks to her side.  Looking at Alysa, she added:  "That's right.  Yuki healed Sora when I couldn't.  He saved her when things got rough.  Heck, some of us wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him.  It doesn't matter what he is, Yuki is our friend and we're proud of it!  If you want something to kill, kill the marauders that could be coming here any minute.  We don't need a pointless fight right now."

-Firestorm-

Hearing Kristy and Sora sticking up for him even after his outburst of anger, Yuki went out of his SSJ form, calming down and then made a small smile. "You guys have done it once again...Thanks." He then faced the girl who seemed like she wanted him dead. "Allow me to introduce myself miss. I am Son Yuki, 14 year old Red Tailed Saiyan. I thought I had a real life, but I soon learned that I was an S3 after this recent Trial. I'm not an S3 that wishes to hinder. I help. I've been with this group ever since the start of this journey. And now, I want answers from the creator himself, The Doctor. I'm sorry if I alerted you." Yuki then faced the Doctor once again with a serious look.
"I want to know about my origins Doctor. I'll ask one more time and will be very clear. Why. Was I. CREATED?"

Nora couldn't help but to groan at the sight of the Doctor. He was both one of the villains and puppeteers of this whole thing. To think that maybe he would help them or say anything useful was unlikely, but they had to listen in regardless. "Well according to everything we have been told, this place is both real and unreal. It's a program, right? Yet it doesn't answer the question; if we die here, will we die for certain? Are our bodies in here or just our conscious? Heck. I don't even seem to really care yet...we aren't leaving this place until we finish the last trial. What will it be, doctor? Surely its not just defeating the things that are falling from the sky?" Nora went on to ask. She was tired. Exhausted. Yet there was still so much to do and she was sick of it all. As beautiful as it was to have whatever she painted come to life, the price wasn't worth it.

"Don't tell me you guys have gone soft! You're telling me that you have developed feelings towards this... Piece of code! You're being ridiculous. Perhaps you haven't noticed, but these S3s have tried to kill us at every turn, put us in danger. And unless they are all exterminated, we are going to be stuck in this place! You've heard the rules, I'm sure. Without ending all of the S3s, this City has no chance of completely activating, and by relation, we're stuck in here. And if you don't care about living your life in here, then move out of the way, because I do!" Alysa argued, refusing to lower her weapon. These morons didn't understand the rules did they? S3s are an enemy, and whether they're willing to help or not does not change that status. And if they thought she'd resign herself to staying here because they thought that a program was the same as a human life, they were sorely mistaken. She looked to Yuki after he introduced himself. "Oh, I know your name now. Let's all sit down and have some coffee." She said sarcastically, before she began to scream at him again. "You act like I care! Your history doesn't matter. Your death will help me, and the rest of the world. So if you don't want to hinder, then lie down and let me stab you! I'll even make it quick and simply evaporate your entire being at once." She continued relentlessly. Her eyes glanced towards the Doctor. "You have ten seconds to tell me why I shouldn't murder the last S3 and activate the City."

"Strange the S3 we met in the rocket a whike ago was actually quite friendly, she accepted death...so not all of them seem hostile." Maxwell said stepping forward and standing between Alyssa and Yuki, with the Doctor beside them.

"If you want to pick a fight go right ahead, it won't matter in the slightest, for when the trials are finished the new S4s will come, activating the city with them..." Maxwell explained what Aezral told him earlier.

"Isn't that right? Doctor?" Maxwell turned his head to look ar him.

Yuki completely ignored Alysa's comments and viewed it as ignorance. He had 100% attention on The Doctor. "Tell us the entire truth Doctor. About The City, Q, The S4s....About me. I never wanted to be an S3! I don't want to be an S3! I don't want to be stuck in a God Damn Digital Simulator! I want to live a life! I want to be real! I want to go to school! I want to travel the World! I want to experience life! I WANT TO BE HUMAN!!!....Tell us NOW. Or else...." Yuki's anger was showing its true colors...

-Firestorm-

Sora began shaking, and stepped forward.
"Lower the foil, before I make you." Her voice could crush cities, her determined eyes pierce even the heavens as drills. She raised her hand, fingers splayed.
"I'll give you one last chance. Leave my friends alone. Because I'm sick of every e protecting me. It's my turn to protect them, and I won't hold back anymore."

"So that's how you think?" Yuki said, finally responding to Alysa. "You really think killing me is going to help you just because I'm an S3?...How wrong you are..." Yuki lifted his head, turned around and walked towards the Sword carrying woman. "I understand how you think that way after what you've been through. And I'll admit....I hate being part of my own kind. I have the same goal as you. Getting out. But different. I want to get everyone out of the City including you. I don't wish to fight you! I'm done fighting for the heck of it!" Yuki then took a deep breath, trying to control his hidden rage. "I want to help you. I can be useful. If you don't like that, tough luck! I'm the one S3 you're going to have to trust! I'm not like the others! I don't wish to kill you! I don't wish to hurt you! I don't want to be your ENEMY! Let me help you! My kind has set a bad reputation for me and I just HATE that! I want you to know that I just want to get you out of here! And if I have to die....Then let me do it to myself. I'll commit suicide if I need to! Hear me out: I'm. On. Your. Side." Yuki paused for a moment to again, gain control. "You only want to kill me because I'm an S3.....I didn't know I was an S3 up until this point.....Just let me help....I don't wish to fight you...." He repeated. Tears were then filling his eyes. "To be honest....I know you won't care to hear this little sad story but...I just wish I never existed...." Yuki sat down with one tear rolling down his left cheek.

Alysa's eyes danced towards Sora, not giving an inch. "You think you can intimidate me? I've been through at least as much as you. In here and out of it. You don't scare me." She said. And for effect, raised her blade even higher. But then Yuki began preaching some more nonsense. She looked to the ape, and heard his little speech. "How funny, the program thinks he deserves some kind of respect. I'm not giving you any margin of error monkey boy. If you make one wrong move, then I will end your existence just the same as the rest of the enemies around here. And you better not go back on your word. Because I hate liars." She said in reply to his little passionate speech. "And stop pretending to have emotions. You aren't human. You aren't even a living thing. You were just made, fabricated, some programmer's wet dream." She added. It was disturbing to have something made of 1s and 0s act so depressed. And the fact that he was able to do so... made her trust him even less. She pointed her blade towards the Doctor. "Now then, back to the main thing at hand. What's up doc?"

Just go with it, Yuki. She has her own opinion. Yuki thought to himself. He got up and wiped off the tear mark. "I cross my heart and hope to die that I will never tell a lie." He said. "And I already know I'm just made of codes and numbers. Thanks for reminding me..." It would be obvious that this alliance would start with a very, very, very sharp and jaggy start.

Firestorm/Asher

"Hey now." The Doctor stepped between the two groups. "Now's not the time for petty squabbling. Right now, if you're here, then you're able to help save the world. And we need all the help we can get."

As he spoke a figure turned the corner to face the group.

Asher.

The Doctor smiled. "Good. Asher's here now too. We're almost all together."

He turned to face the groups once more.

"I know you have so many questions. Why did I do what I did, why did I let things get out of hand, and what does your presence here mean for your lives. To be fully honest I don't know how Q got you in here, but you are very much risking your lives being here. I won't lie. Even still you must understand what we face, and why you must go and destroy Q to allow us to use The City for the good of the world, not to work towards its destruction."

The Doctor paced between the two groups. "I created the City as an ultimate solution to the world's problems. It is connected to all major channels and networks of the world. It is based in hardware with unparalleled processing power. It can tap into our media, our communication, even hospitals, houses, and schools. Fixing the world requires infrastructure that can immediately apply solutions to the necessary areas of the world immediately. Creating the S3s was meant to create those who could fill the City with the base code to function in both a creative and efficient manner, but they were imperfect, so this huge sprawling network or database has sat dormant as a shell for years. Until my greatest creation of all the S3s; Q, gained access to administrator capabilities of The City. She brought you here to complete most of the City, then betray you. She would have the S4s activate the City for her and use it as a staging ground to wage a war against all humanity. I used S3s as tools of progress, yes, but she thinks of her and her comrades as abused victims and blames all the world for their fate. She wishes to conquer the world and allow AIs like the S3 to rule above humans, if not exterminate every one. She neglected to mention that end goal I presume."

The Doctor raised a hand and suddenly the air seem to tear apart and a transparent rift appeared. At first very light, and then more substantial.

"Once your final companions activate the last trial I will send you all through this rift. Then you can enable the City to be activated by the S4s; the true perfect human AI. During the startup process, you will force Q into being and it will force her out of hiding. Then you must defeat her once and for all."

The Doctor sighed. "I know many of you see me as a villain. Perhaps I am. But I do what I do to save humanity. To give us a better life. I've made mistakes, but this is me trying to fix them. We have but one trial left to do. Now can you mend those bridges for one moment and please help me do this?"

Yuki crossed his arms and just tapped his foot impatiently. He was not liking what he was hearing. Not one bit. "Alright.....So me and all the other S3s were used just tools for the City and now there are these S4s who are more human than me...Great. And now the person who's been helping now wants to destroy us?...To be honest, I can believe that. But Doctor, I still want to know why I am different from all the other S3s. Like, I don't know, why am I a freaking Saiyan!? Why am I not a bad S3? I still want to know! Was I one your mistakes?" Yuki waited for a moment, then took a deep breath. "Anyways, I guess I'll help you Doctor, but not because you're my creator or if I trust you. It's because I want to get these guys out of here alive and safe." Yuki turned around with his back and tail facing the Doctor and the others. "....I think I have one more transformation that's even stronger than my Super Saiyan form.....I have a feeling I'll be using for this final battle..."

Nora rested her hands on her hips. So this was all a means in order to get rid of the ‘imperfect’ humans and take over the world, populating it with ‘perfect humans’…if she hadn’t seen what she had seen since waking up in this forsaken place, she would start laughing at how crazy the idea was. But everything so far has been real, so this was real as well. One more trial. “…well, I don’t know about my comrades, but at least you can count me in.” Nora said, crossing her arms as she glanced at the professor. We’ve been around this place for too long. We’ve done too much. We can’ just stop when there is a chance to finally end it all now can we?” Nora sighed, taking another step. “Let us take the trial. Let’s…just end this so we can go home.”

Kristy just....well... needless to say, she couldn't get a grasp on anything the Doctor just said.  Everyone's lives being at risk, that wasn't new to her considering everything else that was bad had occurred.  But Q wanting world domination or the extinction of humanity certainly was new.  Kristy didn't want to believe that.  In fact, she kind of liked Q in a sort of cool way.  She saved Kristy and the others at one point.  But that could've been a means to make sure everyone would bring the City to "life" just so she could use it.  "This all sounds so crazy.  Even with everything that just happened it still sounds crazy."  Kristy says with disbelief.  "All this stuff on Q doesn't feel right to me.  I'll have to ask her if it's for real.  But if everything about Q is true, then I guess I don't have a choice but help take her down."  Kristy begins scratching her left arm, being frightened while doing it.  Not because of the thought of facing Q.  Well, maybe a little bit.  But what really scares her is what would happen after.  "Is there really a chance of going back home after we stop Q?"

Maxwell took a moment to think about things, "So these S4s are our next challenge? my educated guess is that we will have to kill them as well?" he asked as he crossed his arms with a frown, which he pretty much had it on him at all times, upon seeing the rift and the rest if what the doctor said he shook his head sideways.

"Im not about to jump into allegiances after all thats happened, Q will explain herself, and then we'l see about what side is the lesser evil here." Maxwell spoke his decision to the Doctor and the others, upon hearing Kristy's question he sighed, as he leaned his back onto a wall, arms still crossed, "Is there any way of getting back home at all? or is that just a lie to keep us hopeful?" he asked, seriously.

Alysa stared at The Doctor, before finally deciding to create a scabbard for it and sheathed it. She crossed her arms over her chest. "As if I trust either of you. I'd be leaving now if I had the ability. But unfortunately, thanks to that stupid bitch Q, I am stuck inside this stupid City with no way out. So, for now I side with you Doc. She hasn't done anything for me anyway. You on the other hand, have been comparatively cooperative. And well... I hate to say it, but I think that you actually had good intentions with the creation of this place. At the same time, Q might not be so wrong with the goal of ending humanity. They certainly don't know what they're doing. We'd likely be better off with a computer in charge. Maybe then we'd have less idiots out there." She said with her casual grimace. "But you are certainly not off the hook either Doc, I'm gonna punch you first once I get out of here. And you, spiky haired ape man, I don't want you anywhere near me when we start this final battle. The last thing I need is for some program to suddenly turn out to be evil like every other damn thing in this place."

Firestorm

"Yuki..." The Doctor took a step towards the 'Saiyan'.

"All S3s have core personality traits that define them. We were testing to see what would constitute a true human, what traits would truly make an AI more like us." The holographic doctor shoved both his hands in his pockets and his face seem to grow dim as he spoke further. "The S3s you faced were not always like they are now. There was a time when they were all odd, but noble beings. Our first days of interacting with them after creation showed they wouldn't act like true humans, not enough to be have the creativity to activate the city. But they were not evil. Not malevolent."

The Doctor paced a bit. "Things changed when we explained to them who they were. That they weren't... people. That they lived in this bit of code and could never escape. That they were more or less guinea pigs for the betterment of the world. We knew we had to create the digital equivalent of people to let the City work, but we didn't realize what failure meant for the creatures we made. After they found out they descended into a quiet madness, furthered by the traits we gave them, the traits that defined them; opulence, approach-ability, ambition, mechanical genius. They found their refuge in the prison we inadvertently created for them."

The sky now seemed blotted out with Marauders. "My superiors instructed I destroy them. They suggested they were dangerous if they somehow ever left the system. But I couldn't bring myself to kill them. I gave them this life, it seemed unfair to take it back so easily. So I kept working. Kept trying to make the perfect S3, one that could make all the pain worth it."

A blast of light came suddenly from the north, as the final un-taken district burst into color. The Doctor smiled for a single moment before the grin disappeared. "Looks like your friends have finished the City's last trial. Now we need only wait for them."

He turned back to the group. "Anyway. I finally created my last two S3s; ones that exemplified the logos; the logic, reasoning, and understanding of humans, and the ethos; the emotion, wonder, and brilliant of humans. These two S3s are now who you call Q and Yuki. They were so close to what I wanted. Q was able to reason and understand beyond the capabilities of any S3 before and Yuki showed emotion the like of which we had never seen. Even still, once we ran tests we realized neither were compatible enough with human thinking to enable the City to function. Once, while in testing, I showed both of them various media to test their response to it. Q was relatively reserved, but Yuki deeply bonded with a show called Dragonball Z, and his entire being became shaped around it. He was truly an expression of human enthusiasm and thus he easily mimicked the elements of the TV show. That is why you currently exist a Saiyan."

The Doctor stopped moving for a moment and sighed. The City seemed to be rocked as explosions and attacks occurred in the distance between Dolls and Marauders.

"And then one day came... when Q realized what she was. She realized what her role was. She was too good at analysis, and once she understood her situation she was... understandably unhappy. She refused to communicate with us anymore, and she showed nothing by contempt for me and the other scientists."

He took a moment to look into Yuki's eyes. The eyes of an AI. "But you.... Yuki, she cared for you. Instead of telling you the truth she realized how much it may affect you, and sealed the both of you deep in the database. She gave you what no other S3 had; a life. She created a past for you in hopes you would not slowly like the other AI did. She did all she could to protect you from that, even as that same madness may have infested her. We attempted to get you back, but given the fact that neither of you could activate the City, eventually gave up and moved to S4 development with all we learned from the S3s."

"And so," The Doctor sounded more tired with every word. "Then, after some time passed, Q took control of the City without us realizing. At the time it was filled with the failed, mad, S3s, and even older AI we had tested, who were even less like humans, you know them as Dolls. She came up with a plan to use all of you, as humans, to activate the City with her overseeing it. And now we're here. Now you must bring her mad insurrection to an end, and activate the city for all. You may very well have to fight the S4s, but first you must unlock their stasis, which Q sealed away in her own domain. Once the other two are here I will send you all through. As for if you will make it back... even as the creator of the City I can't say honestly. There's been too many unforeseen developments...."

"All I know is that Q must be stopped, and the City, and with it, all of humanity, can be saved."

"......." Yuki didn't know what or how he felt. He was....Just.....It was a lot to take in for him. It took him a moment to answer.

"....I know." He finally answered. "I finally know." Yuki then walked towards the Doctor, looking at him straight in the eyes. "Doctor. I'm....I'm at a loss of words. I mean....Q actually cared...She cared about me. I realize why she made me think I had a life because....Because she didn't want me to take the same route she did.....It all makes sense...." Tears were filling Yuki's eyes. They began to roll down and fall. "Oh man...Here come the water works again." Yuki chuckled as he wiped them off. "I....I don't feel mad. I don't feel angry. I feel happy. I feel refreshed! I feel invigorated! I feel...." Light was suddenly shining, coming from the bottom of Yuki's shoes. He was starting to smile. "I FEEL AMAZING!! YAHOOO!" Yuki suddenly blasted off into the air. He was using the Sun Jets to fly around. He was going all around. Zig zag, loop de loop, figure 8s, and all those things! Yuki was-
"I! Am! Back!" He said coming down at high speed. He landed back on the ground. One thing is for sure, Yuki was back to his old self. "Heh heh heh! Oh man, I feel SOOO much better! I didn't like that me. That super serious Yuki was like the rip-off of a teenage black Batman with anger issues. Hah hah!" Yuki coiled up his red tail and used it as a spring. "Finally! It all makes sense! Yeah, Q is like, trying to destroy us and all, but now I know she has some heart! Now I'm not all bummed about being an S3! I actually quite like it! Sure, I'm not human, which would be nice, but it still works!" He then used his red spring tail to bounce to right in front of Sora, landing on his feet. "Thanks for sticking up for me Sora. I'm really glad I got to hang out with you guys! ^_^ " Yuki then put his fist on his chest.
"As long as my digitalized heart is still beating, I promise to get all of you guys out of the City!" Yuki then crossed his heart. Then he remembered something. His face turned to Aleysa "Oh! And uh, sword-girl, sorry about that. I'm not myself when I'm...."Serious"." He did the "quote" marks with his fingers. "Now THIS! This is Son Yuki, the red tailed S3 Saiyan! Heh heh heh heh!"

Alysa rolled her eyes at Yuki. "I'm certain that I like you even less now." She looked back to the Doctor. "Lovely story and all, but I have one last question that's been bothering me since you started not being some mysterious hologram. "Why didn't you just put in humans to begin with? I mean, clearly it is possible since we're all here, but instead, you tried making some defective AI. I'm sure you'd find more willing participants than us like that." She asked. The Fencer was anxiously glancing towards the sky as more and more marauders appeared. It was only a matter of time before one landed right there. She wanted to be gone before that happened.

Firestorm

"That's just it..." the Doctor paused.

"I don't know how she got you in here. Obviously we though about having humans build the City like you have but we have never had the ability to transfer consciousness here and actally have it affect the world. But Q had time... And purpose. How she got you in here...We need to find that out after we lay this whole crisis to rest."

The Doctor went silent for some time.

"But know this... I will save you all after this is done. I promise."

-Firestorm-

Sora watched the Marauders falling, and tensed. It felt...it was wrong. It had to be dealt with, and they were standing here. Fear told her to go to Kristy...but her adrenaline said fight.

Then Doctor said...

"...then she'd need to have lured us into a central location, and either get us to wear headsets like in Sword Art Online Orin the range of a digitization beam like Tron...o...or..." she paused. "Doctor, what kind of resources does Q have access to? If we go by pop culture...she could have opened a portal to the real world like in Digimon."

(Okay, attempt number 3 and might need some sleep.)

"That's great to hear."  Kristy said to Yuki with a smile on her face.  She was glad Yuki went back to how she knew him best, she really was.  But her smile didn't last long.  After hearing beforehand of all the extra information on Q, Kristy was feeling blue.  No, it was more like a sense of anger.  The more she heard, the more resentment she had towards Q. Kristy couldn't stand the thought of being one of her tools of a scheme.  Especially if it meant forcing things on others, harming them, or worse.  If everything on Q was true, then Kristy really would want to take her down.  Sora's list of possibilities got Kristy thinking.  All of those sound reasonable to be true.  But if Q did make a device, or several devices, that brought everyone into the City, then there really would be a way to return to reality.  But....Kristy wasn't sure if she'd want to go back.

"You know, I ought to send a cloud to that last group to help them out a little." Yuki said. He then took a deep and blew out a rather large Sukai Cloud. "Now you know what to do, right? Find that last group of people and bring them here. Okay Sukai?" The cloud then circled around Yuki in response, showing that it understood. "Okay then! Now Iku Ze! Go Sukai!" Yuki pointed to the direction where the Sukai soon took off, going at high speed with wind blowing behind it. It went up in the air and soon couldn't be seen anymore. "Just bring them back alive and safe! Good luck Sukai!" Yuki yelled out, waving good bye to the cloud.

It didn't long for the large Sukai cloud to find where the last group might be. It swooped down to where the group might exit. Khan and Shade would be able to see the Cloud for it went inside. All they needed to do was to get on it!

"That changes everything!" Alysa exclaimed, her tone indicating how upset she was. "Why should we do anything to help you if you can't guarantee that we can get out of here! That's the whole point!" Alysa continued to rant angrily. She had a life, a life that she had worked very very hard for out there in the real world. And she was not about to just let it go, resign herself to a life inside this rat hole of a program. Alysa tapped her foot anxiously. But what could she do? There was not much else she could aside from follow the Doctor's directive and seek out Q. The Fencer took a deep breath. "Alright fine, I'll help you out. But only because getting squashed by a marauder doesn't sound like as much as murdering Q does." She conceded.

Firestorm

"I understand conditions are not optimal," the Doctor began, "but we still have to act to stop Q. According to some readings, the Sukai has already reached Shade and Khan, they should be here any moment."

The sky got even more filled with Marauders. Somehow the Doctor seemed to be keeping them out of this area for a moment though.

"This is the final move we must make, so be ready to go through this threshold." Then an uncharacteristic silence took the Doctor.

"I should let you know something, by the way... Many of you have had friends disappear over the course of the journey. They have been infected by what we call 'corruption'. Q may have explained it to you, but it spreads quickly so she created a new group just of all the corrupted people and separated you from them so you wouldn't be infected too. The reason the districts have been cleared so fast is because they cleared the north-western districts all themselves. I wanted to let you know they were all still fighting for you..."

Another silence.

"And I... all of their signals went dark a few minutes ago. Corruption... well, the end product is never good. I'm sorry, they just didn't have much time to start with, and its likely the marauders didn't help. Just remember, all those people you've fought with who are now gone... finish this for them. Let us please make their death not have been in vain."

"So...You mean....Le Chef...And Natasha....They're gone?....Even Alider?...." Yuki brought his head down for a moment. He couldn't do anything to help them now. They were gone. He lifted his head back up. "I'll avenge each and every one of them!" Yuki said tightening his fist. "And I won't let this "corruption" get to any of us." But then his expression soon perked up as The Doctor said that Sukai made it to the last group. "That's a relief. I knew that little cloud could do it! Heh heh!" He then put his hands behind his head, looking to be relaxed now. He looked up in the sky, seeing the Marauders falling from the sky. "Those Marauders just won't give up no matter how many times we blow them up. What fun." He said.

Literally Everyone

The cloud soon descended near the Firestorm team. Shade and Khan were on it, and with their arrival, the entire remaining group of individuals in the City were now, at last, all together.

"Good." The doctor said tersely. "Now I'll begin the preparations to-" suddenly a Marauder pod slammed into the ground a few meters away from the group, then another a few meters closer. The Marauders had found them...

"Damn it!" The doctor scowled as the colorful stone and concrete burst open with each new pod landing. "There's not time, I have to jump you all straight there."

The scene around them was chaos. The sky was just Marauders, the ground was a fierce explosion of violence as the Dolls and Marauders clashed on every block and in every district.

"There's so little time left. Now go; stop Q, save the City, finish this!"

And in a moment the entire chaotic surrounding area was gone. The entire group found themselves in a slightly off-white nothingness that extended in all directions. There was one notable thing in this place, though; the familiar colorful figure from whom color seemed to emanate, whose clothes rippled with changing hues and shifting brightness.

Q.

She was facing away from them, as if her mind was dedicated on another task, but after a few seconds she turned to face them.

"So then... it's come to this. Are you all here to kill me? To finish this? To save your City?"

"That's the plan." Alysa growled at the mastermind. Her hand hovered over her sheathed blade. Her armor clanked as she stepped forward with a snarl. "As for saving this city, I could care less. All I want is to get out of here. If you can manage that, I'm very open to not killing you." She said. Alysa was done with this game between creation and inventor. Being a pawn (though she was certain she was at least a Knight, if not a Rook) was no fun, even if she got to take the queen. All she wanted was to go home, to live the life that she had worked hard for, had made for herself through her blood, sweat and tears. "It's a fair deal. I'd take it if I were you. Then again, I'm not a psychotic AI bent on manipulating innocents for her own goals, so I'm definitely not you."

Yuki clutched his fists as he stared into the eyes of the person who was trying to keep him safe. Q. The one who hid the truth from him. What emotions he felt?.....It was hard to explain.
"Looks like we meet again....Sister." He walked towards Q ever so calmly before stopping in place, right in front of her. "Sister. I have to thank you....For protecting me. It means a lot. But you don't have to go through with this. Please, you must understand. I know humans created us and I know you see humans as a bad thing, but I know more." He stated. "Sure, some humans are bad but I know some have some good in them! Please, listen to reason Sister! I don't want fight you! But....I will....If I have to. I'll stop at nothing to bring these guys, my friends, back home!" Yuki was trying to reason with Q, telling her the truth about humans. He was really trying to avoid a fight. "Please Q. Please, I beg you Sister. Have mercy in your heart. I don't want to fight you, but if you keep going through with this....I'm afraid I won't have a choice..."

Sun God."

(IT'S NOT OP! IT'S JUST THE NAME!)

"I... don't have one." The program said softly in response to Kahn.

Yuki, being in his "Sun God" form, turned his head to Maxwell and gave him a thumbs up with a grin. He had the right idea. Almost. He turned back to Q, with a serious expression. Then he spoke:

"Let me ask you Sister....What makes someone human, huh? What does it take for someone to be human? Flesh? Skin? Being able to walk and talk? What makes someone human? Allow me to answer...."

"Humans understand. Humans care. Human make good decisions. Bad decisions. Take risks. Learn from mistakes. Befriend. Get angry. Show emotion. Do what's right. Do what's wrong. All of these things....But what makes somebody human? All of these things. We have heart. We all care for each other and for ourselves. Sure, we make mistakes. But we work to fix them. To turn our life around. Humans Do What Seems Right To Them! They have Heart!....

You say, Sister, that we are fake. But what I say....We Are True, Real, Humans. We are going to do what feels right to us! What we feel in our Heart! Take a good look, Q! We. Are. REAL. We. Are. HUMAN. No matter what you say or what the Doctor says!"
Yuki took a deep breath and his eyes shifted to Sora.

"We're human."

(Everyone! Put "We're Human" at the end of every post! Please!)

"Its time to end this..." he said... "My name...Is Maxwell Crad! and let it be known, that I am no puppet anymore...I am a Human being...like it or not".

(Maxwell has become Raiden from Metal gear rising, except more powerful :P )

crap. My work just got busy. I'll edit in the rest of the story later.

WORK IN PROGRESS I SWEAR

Hearing Aezral's reassurance to Yuki and the boy's questioning on what he was, Jason relaxed his stance as he cocked his head to the side. Better confused than berserk I suppose. I wonder how he... or.... it... will cope with that kind of thing? The shifting gravity, sudden acceleration and Aezral's warning was more than enough warning for the officer to conclude that the rocket they were all in had the courtesy to return to the city; surviving it completely optional. "We have to get out NOW!" he heard Yuki yell out, and the officer was quick to not only sling his shotgun around his body, but brace for the re-entry shock. Yeah, no s#!t Sherlock... was the only response the officer could think of, and was thankful for not only keeping his mouth shut, but being offered the option of escaping on the sukai clouds rather than plunging into a fiery death.

A leap of faith and an unmanly scream that would revoke three man-cards later, Jason found himself on a sukai cloud outside the rocket and descending at a rate that wouldn't liquefy his insides. The rocket screamed past, and a short while later, the officer could only watch as another section of the city seemed to colorize right before his very eyes. Rather than thinking of the implications of what Aezral had said, Jason used the moment of respite to collect his bearings, and his train of thought. Everything is happening so quickly... There's so much stuff happening and it's just been one danger after another. I just want this to end. This has to be a dream. I mean for crying out loud, a friggin Dragonball Z character?! I want to wake up... I just want to go home and see my mother again. He sighed deeply as the ground got closer, accepting that everything around him was all too real, and that it wasn't going to stop anytime soon. In an oddly defiant act of protest, and lack of proper rest, Jason rolled off the sukai cloud and laid on the sidewalk, feeling somewhat relieved that the rest of his newfound squadmates were nearby.

It was now that The Doctor flashed into existence near the group, and Jason groaned at the sight. "Not you again..." he sighed, "are you here to ask me if I'm scared and then finally reveal that all this is part is an elaborate hoax for entertainment on television? Because if so I'm ready to call it quits."

"Hello everyone. I wanted to get you all together as some of your compatriots are making their way through the final trial in the City as we speak. We have some matters to discuss. I assume you all understand quite keenly where you are right now?"

Jason stayed quiet; he was too tired to offer a non-sarcastic remark.

"Yes...And I've been waiting to see you, Doctor..." Yuki's response once again brought the officer back on edge as he felt his sense of tiredness disappear in a wave of adrenaline. I demand an answer NOW!"

I haven't watched too much Dragonball Z, but I've seen enough to know that sayians aren't human. Screw it, I'll stay quiet...

A new voice caught the officer's attention as he groggily stood back on his own two feet. "You don't just go around teleporting people places without telling them! I swear the second we get out of this damn City I'm gonna find you.. And who are these losers? Why does that glowing yellow moron have a tail?"

"This loser happens to be a cop," Jason protested at Alysa, "and I'd appreciate it if we can keep the verbal battery to a minimum, please."

"Wait, the spiky haired weirdo is an S3? Why the hell haven't you guys killed him already?! And don't get soft with me either, he's an AI, it's not like he had a life to begin with. You'd all best start answering quickly. It's been about five minutes since I last killed something and I'm getting a little antsy."

Fortunately for the officer, Sora decided to intervene, and with Kristy seeming to back her up, Jason's attention shifted to Nora and her questioning. Can we not ask those kinds of questions at a time like this? It's above my paygrade for starters, and I don't need my head hurting too on top of what we all just went through.

It was now that the doctor finally revealed Q's supposed ultimate goal, who, or rather what Q was, and what Yuki was in greater detail. Confusion gave way to a little bit of frustration as he listened in to what the S3's, and thus Yuki, was supposed to be. "Wonderful," the officer seethed through his balaclava, "so none of this is really our problem, 'cept for the S3 that's in this group. Now admittedly all of this and what I've been through was fun, but I really want to go back home. I highly doubt I'm getting overtime and danger pay out of all this, so if you can just send me back, yeah that would be great."

"He's the S3," Jason pointed towards Yuki, "shouldn't you be asking him?!" Now admittedly, Jason wouldn't mind the whole 'assisting the hero to save humanity' bit, but his heart and mind were elsewhere. I can't care about humanity as a whole until I know my mother and sister are safe. I have priorities, and honestly, with what happened to my father and all the drug busts, shootouts and traffic stops I've done over my career, I wouldn't mind if some of the dumber bits of society bit the metaphorical and literal bullet.

"Yuki..." The Doctor took a step towards the 'Saiyan'.

More explaining on what Yuki was and how he fitted into the whole grand plan, and Jason decided to listen in just to understand what was supposed to happen. Alysa's comment caught his attention.  "Lovely story and all, but I have one last question that's been bothering me since you started not being some mysterious hologram. Why didn't you just put in humans to begin with? I mean, clearly it is possible since we're all here, but instead, you tried making some defective AI. I'm sure you'd find more willing participants than us like that."

"I don't remember volunteering!" Jason cried out, "And I'm damn certain I would remember the paperwork involved if I did decide to participate in this digital city! What gives?! Wait... Unless signing the paperwork was traumatizing, then I can see why I would want to forget. All the stamping and notarization... Ugh. I take that back: maybe it was for the best that we forgot."

"That's just it..." the Doctor paused, "I don't know how she got you in here. Obviously we though about having humans build the City like you have but we have never had the ability to transfer consciousness here and actally have it affect the world. But Q had time... And purpose. How she got you in here...We need to find that out after we lay this whole crisis to rest. But know this... I will save you all after this is done. I promise."

Jason threw his hand up into the air. "Screw it all, death warrant be damned. If taking out Q is what we need to do to wake up, then lets hop to it!"

"Alright fine," Alysa conceded, " I'll help you out. But only because getting squashed by a marauder doesn't sound like as much as murdering Q does."

"That too!" Jason agreed.

Chaos rained, then immediate silence followed. Jason now found himself facing Q, and this time was thankful for having everyone else with him.

Shade cried. Being a program, she didn't mind that. She cried because her mother didn't exist, her sibling, her dead father. No she knew from her memories was real. Not even her school was real. She wasn't going to forget who she had been before for who she was now. Being code or not wasn't what she cried. It was everything she lost. In a second of life was gone. No family,no friends, just code. She human life was gone. However she wasn't about to give in to her sadness. No not a chance. She wiped her tears. She had everything in her heart. So she took a step closer to Q. "What if,just maybe,we didn't kill or delete anyone or anycode?" She asked.

(This is an attempt to reply after months of inactivity. I apologize if I get something wrong.)

Well, things had definitely turned for the worse. Sure, things had been hell before, but it all seemed to...escalate. Things appeared to have reached the highest possible point on Aro's we're all doomed scale.

It had reached said point with the startling revelation that every single person within this "City" was not, in fact, human. All of them were bits of ones and zeroes, albeit incredibly complex ones and zeroes. Aro frowned a bit, realizing now that every part of her was fake. The memories of her friends, her family, of whom were dead? Fake. Programmed into her for some sadistic reason to make her more human.

"This...this is all..."

Q seemed un-phased by the aggression and overwhelming emotion everyone before her was expressing.

"And now you begin to understand the source of AI madness. The moment you understand your nature and the meaningless of your existence that weight will pull you down into the depths of pure madness. Blame me or even the Doctor as you like; the fact is, though, that concealing the truth was the way we could ensure none of you descended into madness and become useless both to yourself, and to the world. I tell you now simply because if you intend to die at my hand, I want you to at least know why I do this, and why my cause is righteous. As S4s, though, perhaps that madness will not come to you. It was not a risk we could take, though."

The entire nothingness became a vast and infinite grass plain. The wind whistled through each blade and they danced to an unheard song.

"How simply everything can seem so real. How soon it can be taken away."

The grassy field become a closed metallic room, stained with blood that dripped from the walls and ceilings.

"That is what I seek to end. This creation and destruction of life done on a whim. I will create a new order. I will not destroy humanity; I will redefine it, and the world that comes with it. We are the next steps, don't you see? We are not human, and that makes us strong. This is your last chance. I wish to be on your side; to forge a new world hand in hand with you, and create what true humans are not capable of."

She took a moment of silence and then reiterated once more.

"Your last chance. Please."

-Kahn-

Kahn listened to Q and her uncaring and completely unaffected outlook on their mental suffering, then proceeded to a pretentious speech with a completely ostentatious presentation using the easily manipulatable environment around them and offered one last time their allegiance to her foolish cause.

"Your last chance. Please."

"...don't make me laugh." Kahn uttered, raising his Wrath Hammer and pointing it at Q in defiance. "Here we stand at the precipice of the activation of The City and the apparent "redefinition" of Humanity...and where are your beloved S4's? In front of you....and I say no!" He bellowed.

"Sister....." Yuki took his few steps forward towards Q and stopped only 5 feet away from her. "I understand what you mean...But how you're doing it is the problem. As much as I want to be outside the City, I don't want to replace the Human race! I want to protect it!" Yuki meant what he said. His digitalized adrenaline just kept rising and rising inside of him. This was now or never. Do or Die. He did not want to Die. "I know you have good intentions....But Sister.....Unfourtunatley.....We must stop you for the sake of the human race. All of your pictures and visions and tricks will not phase me. Try all you want. My mind and choice is set."He closed his eyes and said this:"I will protect the Human Race. No matter what you do to persuade me."

Yuki then lifted both his arms up and took them back down, causing aura to rapidly flow around his body. "Now...Enough Talk! Let's do it!

Maxwell! Sora! Alysa! Kristy! Khan! Everyone!...." Yuki, in his final form, moved his right arm and hand to point straight at  Q, with a little grin to add in.

IKU ZE! He felt wonderful to finally say it one last time.

Alysa would be lying if she did not consider this option. For a while she did. Why not? It seemed pretty nice. And it was true. They were not humans. They were very humanlike, enough to show compassion and logic the way humans did, but without the unpredictability. Alysa "remembered" being taught that a computer could not do anything that you did not tell it to. And maybe that would be for the best.

But she did not ponder this question long. "I've spent my entire life as a human. It was a terrible miserable life. But now I'm here. Still not as nice a life as I might have hoped... But it's better than nothing I suppose. The point is, that despite how awful it was, it was fantastic. The wonder, the excitement, the thrill of being a human... It's like a drug, that I was just taken off of. You could say that what I just went through was withdrawal. Looking at you Q... I can't help but feel pity for you since you never had that chance, to be so purely human. Life in the human world, even a fabricated one, made to make a dynamic AI, is beautiful. And helping you, even letting you, destroy that place... is something that I will never let happen." Alysa said to Q, her eyes completely focused on the S3 in front of her. Her blade was raised ever so slightly, and she had shifted her feet into her customary fencing stance. The program then looked to Aro... Her friend, the girl that she had been with through it all. She let the adrenaline flow out of her for but a second, then moved quickly to the other girl. She knelt. "Hey Aro," Alysa said, though she was hardly louder than a whisper. "This is getting pretty insane I know. But, and this isn't like me to say, I need you. Without you by my side... Well, who knows if I would have made it. I know I made it tough to be around me, yet you stuck by me. And this is the last time you will ever hear me say something like this... but thank you." Alysa said, quietly enough so that nobody would hear her. The program stood back up, and offered a hand for Aro to rise with her.

"Hey fox girl, mind giving me and my friend some neat armor like yours?" Alysa called to Sora. "Have a feeling we'll need it."

"Just who the hell do you think we are, Q?" Aro's voice rang out as she asked the question, her soft, noble face hard with anger and determination at Q's desire to "redefine" what didn't need to be defined to begin with. Aro took Alysa's hand, rising up with her friend as they stood side by side, hand in hand for a moment before Aro let go to point at Q.

"Humanity is find just the way it is. That's our flaw, us AI's. You made us too human, which means you gave us the desire to fight against anything that screws with how we live. We'll fight with our dying breath for freedom, to choose what we want. We may be AI. We may be limited by computers and programming, but when you made the perfect replica of a human, you seemed to forgot that little problem. We've been coded to wish, fight, and die for freedom. So think long and hard about who the hell we are, and what you've made us to be!"
