Nora dropped the thunder gun, panting, beads of sweat pouring down her brow. That was more excersise than she ever expected to do through her entire lifetime. "Amazing job, Chester." Nora said, panting as she rested her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath. She needed a shower, and a nap. A very. Long. Nap. "I don't think we should stay out in the open for long. We can end up being targets for another hoard of dolls." Nora said worryingly. She was about to ask Joe about what he thought, but he was laying down on the floor. Nora just stared dumbstruck before shrieking in frustration. "Does this guy work like a trinket toy or something?!" Nora asked. Oh bloody hell, maybe she should've stayed in the building. Nora rubbed her head gently, feeling a headache coming up. "Alright...we're alive...we're very much alive." Nora said, walking over to Chester. "Here, let me look at your wounds." Nora said, quickly painting bandages over Chester's small injuries, having them form and wrap tightly around them for a seal. "There." Nora said, rubbing her eyes slightly. "I didn't expect the enemies to be this strong. Nathan made it look easy back at the tower!" Nora said as he blinked a few times and looked over to Tristan. "I guess we wait until we wake up."

Giving a slight sigh as he heard Nathan's being mentioned again Tristan heard Nora direct a word of patience towards Chester to wait for him to wake up hearing this Tristan coughed to draw Nora and Chester's attention "For the record I'm not asleep i just can't move the leader doll just kind of managed to hit me one to many times and I'm bleeding allot think he might of hit one of my vitals so i might die of blood lose or something but if you two are still standing that's something for me to be happy about at least by the way did either of you notice those dolls seemed a little different to other ones well at least from my point of view they were different the dolls i ran into before this weren't as organized as that lot just now and they didn't have a leader directing there movements either but that lot just now were far more organized its kind of worrying like the longer we're here the smarter they get or something like that"

Chester finnally managed to fix his spine,now only leaving him,with the same exshausted feeling that Nora also felt."I guess you're right..is it possible to enter these buildings?"he asked with his gaze concentrated at the skyscrapers towering them.At that moment he remembered the doctor."Where did that proffesor dude go?Is he here?"He also puzzled that,checking the gem in his jacket's pocket.It was still there,its purple glowing aura still twisting the air.He wanted to know what is it and if it was worth keeping it.That's when Nora decided to check on his wound."Hey,No need of that,I'm..."he decided to cut of his word so he doesn't an argument.His wounds weren't severe.Chester found the feeling where Nora was directly applying paint on his skin and its materialisation into reality strange but oddly fascinating.Espetially on the scratch on his cheek"Thanks"he whispered ,blushing a bit.His brown eyes quickly shifted and locked on Tristan,trying his best to understand his speech.Tristan was right,the dolls were adapting very quickly and that could become a huge problem.The programmer sighed."We'll have to go inside somewhere so we don't risk getting attacked.And then maybe contacting Q for help"He suggested,rolling up his sleeves,getting ready to drag Tristan on a safe place.

The Cloud Club

 

While flying west with the others on the Sukai clouds, Yuki thought a little and decided to talk to his allies, after that hard fought battle they just did. "So...What were your lives like before...All this happening?" He asked everyone at once.

"Oh would you hush Sherlock." Alysa said arrogantly, her attention entirely on the newcomer. She shriveled her nose and scowled in mock disgust. "I've known you for about two seconds and you're already unbearable. So much for being something special." She said, her tone as full of disdain as she could make it. Maybe he should know his place the next time he buts into a situation they clearly had handled. The Fencer glanced towards the Marauder, then went back to glaring at Liath. "We happen to have had a previous encounter with this Doctor fellow. And he happened to decide that he needed to just vanish, leaving us in this godforsaken city with little to no help. We very much have the right to, question him and his stupid intentions. So, how about you let us handle this, you little gray prat." Alysa continued, her eyes and tone sharp.

Nora smiled and chuckled nervously. "I had completely forgotten about Q." Nora admitted. The voice didn't speak to them often anyways, it wasn't as if she was there as a constant reminder. But for whatever reason she was there, and the least she could do is answer their questions. "I'm sure we can find a way inside one of these buildings. We just have to look." Nora said as she started to walk around. The buildings were there, colorful and lively, but some parts were just a facade to what would seem for the building to be solely made out of concrete and empty rooms. Nora hummed, tapping around the walls. She glanced up at the sky. "Hey...Q. We have that crystal, and we almost died trying to find it. Hell, we almost died five minutes ago, the least you could do is answer us, what are we suppose to do with it? What's next for us?" Nora asked as she tapped the walls of the nearest building. "Unless anyone has any better suggestions I think we should rest right in here." Nora said as she pointed at what seemed to be a small coffee shop. Inside were simple mannequins in costumes, as if to represent real people, though they weren't. Even some of the food seemed to be fake. All trying to appear real...in a world where they had to create reality themselves. Nora turned and walked all the way back to Tristan, kneeling down as he watched him remain still. "So after you go kaboom you can't move for a while? That...kind of makes sense after seeing what you can do." Nora said, taking out her brush and painting bandages on Tristan's wounds and scratches, the bandages coming to life and wrapping themselves tight to stop any bleeding. "I don't think bandages can cure every wound forever. I can make up the medical equipment but any expertise is out of my league." Nora said with a frown as she painted the bandages, the colors easily painting over the blood and wounds.

Kristy was stretching to make sure everything was working well.  Upon hearing Yuki's question, she answered:  "I was more or less your average rich kid.  Lived in a huge mansion, had servants ready to answer my any needs, and could have anything that I ever wanted.  Anything except going to the outside world.  My parents often told me that the outside was nothing but trouble and did everything they could to keep me inside.  You wouldn't believe how bored I was every day.  Beside the dangers here this "City" is a true luxury since I have more freedom.  I'm sorry, is that a little selfish for me to say?"

Slowly sitting himself up as Nora finished off his first aid Tristan reached for his left shoulder that had dislocated during the fight and forced it back into place "Don't worry about it Nora it was me who got myself banged up this bad anyway a little first aid to wrap up the wounds is more then enough any overly large gashes I'll use my fire to burn the gash closed it'll probably hurt like hell but its nothing i haven't been through before it'll probably take some time before I'm of any real use again though but since im wrapped up a bit now i can at least move without worrying about bleeding to death... by the way you two keep mentioning Q and some crystal you found I've only had Q interact with me about two or three times since i was one of the sacrifice group so I'm a little lost on everything going on compared to everyone else and whats up with the crystal mind filling me in maybe if you don't want to i won't bring it up again though I just feel like it might be handier if i knew everything that was going on since i missed quiet a bit when i was separated with my original group"

"Well I am the opposite, I am from a Poor family, barely any money to our name, my parents...weren't the best, we could barely afford our basic needs, and money was always slow, which made me begin working early at age to get money for myself, and managed to actually get farther than  my parents ever got, I am middle class at best, before I woke up here in this city I was at my apartment finishing off paperwork and going to sleep, although now...I guess I dont need to work anymore" he said.

She must reeeeeally have feelings for Kristy.... He thought. "What was your life like, Sora?" He asked, with his red tail swaying from side to side in curiosity.

Nathan froze into place, a look of confusion emblazoned across his face. It's not as if Asher had said anything out of the ordinary, but it was still so ridiculous of a concept for Nathan to understand. A friend? What kind of idea was this? The word and its definition was present in his mind, but the feeling of having such a thing was completely alien to him. Therefore, it came to Nathan's mind that he had obviously misheard Asher as he was sure no one would actually want to be his friend. "Ahem! ... I understand that you think so highly of my power and I am grateful for your assistance and the fact that you are now sparing my life... And so! To repay you, I will allow you to become... my underling! By becoming my disciple, I will be able to teach you about becoming strong and looking after yourself!" Nathan turned away, grinning as he put a hand to his chin, muttering away on his own. "I've always wanted a protégée that I can instruct and help become a respectable young adult, and now I can! This is going to be fun!" Turning back to Asher with a smile, Nathan's shaking body stood tall in an attempt to seem more durable. "With you at my side, I'll be able to build my army and overthrow Q easily! This all just like a game that requires the right pieces to win... Oh!" Nathan stopped in the middle of his rant as he suddenly remembered that he and Asher had not been properly acquainted. Clearing his throat, the young red head held out his hand with dark smirk on his face. "Of course, how could I forget to properly introduce myself. My name is Nathan Cross, son of the famous Charles Cross who is the CEO of the "Cross International Business" company. However, that information is irrelevant as I will become the CEO as soon as I return to the world we came from. Now, before we get started, what is your name?"

Asher was in a state of slight confusion, as Nathan just went on a huge ramble, and was probably just dreaming.

However, Asher was offered upon to be an underling. A "Disciple" of Nathan.

Should he really accept this? Probably.

"My name is Asher Sterben. I thought I have introduced myself before...I think. However I might be wrong." he said seriously.

"And, I'll become your 'underling' if it leads to destroying Q." he stated, looking at Nathan with a proud look in his eyes.

Sora looked at everyone...then tears well, and she hid her face in Kristy's shoulder.

"I...I don't know. I can't remember anything." She sobbed quietly. "I barely know my own name. I don't know why I'm dressed as a maid or have fox ears and a tail. All I know is I can do anything to keep a gun working or fix it. I don't know anything." She finished, still hiding her face.

"S-Sora...." He whispered. His red tail drooped down in sadness. She couldn't remember anything from her past life. Yuki wanted to help her. "We'll find a way to help you remember for sure. Saiyan's honest promise!" Yuki said with detemination. He viewd everyone around him as his friends. They're there for each at all times. That's what counts for Yuki.

With the help of Nora they managed to get in the small coffee shop.The programmer also noticed the uncanniness of the shop and was weary and on edge just in case if these mannequins wanted to stop pretending to be human."Well.."Chester said before carefully relocating Tristan's shoulder as Nora was painting the bandages,the shoulder making a painful snap noise.At least it was back to normal."Back at a different part of the city,we found it thing lying on the ground"Chester reached from his pocket and showing him the purple glowing gem up closely for a quick look.It still had that twisting aura,so Chester almost immediatly returned back in his pocket,still a bit paranoidout of attacks."Once we had it,we got attacked by a huge hoarde of those doll monster.By the looks of it,It could be useful for restoring the city,since the dolls seem so attached to it."So,far,Chester started regreting the choice to tell Tristan about the gem because he didn't knew if these informations could be used against him.In short words,he still didn't had much trust toward him.However he did believe some of the things the fire user had told them.Like the fact that Q only spoke to him only twice or three times.If Q wanted the City alive so bad,why was she/he relying on strangers?If so why didn't she/he at least helped more often.These thoughts althought made Chester feel indifferent,he felt a bit used,like a lab rat.Anyway,He was thinking of other possibilities of help."Guys,sdo you think we should try getting others groups attention's for help?Because Nora could be right"(This could be a great opportunity for the flare gun idea,Star )

Tristan stared at the strange gem Chester showed to him quickly before putting it away "Weird looking stone can't say I've ever seen anything like it don't get why the dolls would be so attracted to it does it emit some kind of energy that draws them in i wonder huh kind of weird but whatever" Although he was slightly interested at first things like that the gem didn't overly interest Tristan unless he saw them as a threat in which case he would of recommended trying to destroy it or seal it away but for now Tristan didn't know so he left it at that. As Tristan sat focusing on stopping his bleeding he heard Chester mention signally others in the city of there location "Hum, if we were going to do something like that wouldn't it be best to get to higher ground like on top of one of the skyscrapers some of the cities buildings are kind of high so even if we did give off some signal wouldn't the building block it from a number of peoples view if we didn't let it off high enough just saying"

Nora crossed her arms. "You may have a point, but then people who are nearby could see, though. Besides, flare guns go pretty high, I think." Nora said as she looked around. The city felt even stranger when they weren't being attacked. It was like waiting to be attacked and you didn't know where it would be coming from due to how quiet it was. "Look, we might as well try. If it works we can just continue shooting flare guns all over the place until we get everyone...wait! I have something better than a flare gun!" Nora said as she turned and knelt on the floor, quickly beginning to paint with her brush. She used vivid colors here and there, drawing a base, shadows, lines, and eventually made the final touches. She picked up the painting as it came to life and turned to show off a firework. "This should be big and loud enough for them to locate us, and if anything I can just paint more!" Nora said happily, walking over to the street and setting the firework down, having it aim upwards. She then painted some red and orange on the tip of the firework, painting a spark that came to life, setting the firework off. "Fire in the hole!" Nora screamed, running back inside as she covered her ears. The firework went off, flying straight and high into the air before exploding in a variety of colors that formed the word 'HERE' right in the sky.

"Hey guys? What's that?" Yuki said, pointing to the sudden fireworks that spelled "HERE". 

"Hmm......I got it!" Yuki exclaimed. He blew out about 5 Sukai Clouds and sent them over to Nora's group's direction, them heading there. "At least we know some people are alive."

The clouds flew over the group and circled around them. One put itself on top of Nora, another went under Chester and lifted him up, the third Sukai nudged Tristan a bit and....."cuddled" him.

"You're all so adorable." The Doctor smiled. He first turned towards Liath.

 

"My Marauders are here to cleanse the City. They are here in fact to get rid of the dolls. Not you. It was requested by my superiors, but my superiors do no know about your presence here. In any case, you've handled them all easily enough and they help you to prepare for the trials so I see no concern."

 

Suddenly an alarm went off on the transparent man's watch, and he looked down in alarm.

 

"Oh dear, speaking of those. It seems they've upgraded my Marauder's incursions to a full out invasion without telling me. I'll have to handle this." He walked towards the elevator in the building and pressed the "Up" button.

 

"You really must finish this trial. Given the circumstances I realize now that the City must be activated, but Q has to be destroyed. I'll fill you all in on one thing. This place. This City. It isn't real. This is what you may call a 'computer simulation', but it's not quite that. The City represents a network of computers that function on a new level of sophistication. Once the code is written to allow for this network to function properly it could run government, solve the logistics of world hunger, develop a cure for all the great diseases. A network that has the processing power of high-efficiency computers with the judgement capability and empathy of human beings."

 

He looked down at his watch worriedly as the elevator doors opened.

 

"But nobody could think in such advanced terms to build the infrastructure of that network. We made an empty shell, but we needed someone to fill it. Thus we created hyper-advanced AIs of emotion as well as logic, to be inserted into the network to truly create The City: a hub network that can think and feel and that would advance the world. They weren't good enough, though. They were extreme and so very unlike actual humans in certain ways. They ended up as caricatures and were unable to build the city into what we needed...."

 

The doctor began to suddenly disappear as he finished explaining.

 

"Then our friend Q came along, and she inserted you all into the simulation of this network. Thinking, feeling humans that could destroy the AI we placed here and truly bring the city to life. It's the one way to save our world. And the one way to get out of here."

 

And like that, he was gone, and an elevator waiting before the group... leading them to their next trial... and its master.

 

The Cloud Riders Meet the Fiery Trio! (Tristan, Nora, Chester)

After the flare went off Yuki made his way to the three, with the rest of his friends riding on his small grouping of clouds behind him. As they landed, and he began to speak, the roar of something in the sky tore through the streets.

 

Overhead dozens of marauder pods streaked across the sky, crashing into buildings and streets all over the city.

 

"Oh dear."

 

Suddenly standing between the trio of Tristan, Nora, and Chester, and the cloud riders that Yuki had brought over was a well dressed and strangely transparent man. A man who had come to be referred to as The Doctor. He shook his head in worry.

 

"It seems my superiors are losing faith. They are sending in the whole armada. They somehow wish to destroy the city instead of activate it... the fools." He looked from one group to the other, and then a smile spread across his face.

 

"Ah, well I'm glad to see many of you have come together. You'll need help in case. We-"

 

He was cut off as more than a dozen marauder pods slammed into the ground around the group. The Doctor looked somewhat shocked; scared even.

 

"This is not good... not even you all could handle this. What are they thinking? Quickly you all have to run, you have to-"

 

There was no time. The pods burst open and gray beasts spewed forth, charging towards the two groups. "Oh no. They've doomed you. They've doomed this whole place."

 

The dozens upon dozens of Marauders swarmed the streets towards the group...

 

Until a flash of light incinerated every one.

 

"Nobody dooms my City."

 

When the bright flash dimmed all the Marauders lay dead, or eviscerated entirely. In between the two groups, directly next to the doctor, stood a young woman. She wore a long purple dress that glimmered in the bare light of the City. Her hair was... unlike any color. It seemed like light itself, shifting through every part of the spectrum in a single moment. As the light dimmed it seemed to return to her. Her features were subtle but her eyes stared forward with a sense of strength, and her expression was quiet-looking but menacing.

 

"Hello Doctor." She said with not an ounce of love.

 

He smiled back at her.

 

"Hello Q."

"Woah......" That was all Yuki could say at the moment. That woman took out all of those Marauders just like that! What power! He's expression was in awe. But this wasn't just any woman....It was Q. It was really her! In person. Yuki found himself walking slowly to Q, still in amazment. "You're.....You're Q......That was amazing! You just annihilated them with one shot! Incredible!" Yuki said, bursting out in excitement. He's never seen power like that! He took a deep breath to contain himself. 

"So um....Seeing you now.....I have to admit. You look pretty....Beautiful even...." Yuki said, slightly blushing. He turned to the others in case they were suprised by his complement. "Saiyans can give complements too, ya know!" He said with his hands behind his head. He then looked at The Doctor. "So you two know each other well. The Doctor, I recall?" The little red tailed walked around the transparent human, studying him. "You don't happen to have a TARDIS, do you Doctor Who?" He said. But in his thoughts, something came to him. Q seemed....Familar. Like....The woman from his dream!

Cloud Riders and the Fiery Trio meet Doctor-Donna-Friends

 

Sora yelped as it all went down,but as Doctor, and the Marauders streaked in, she clung to Kristy in fear...then the flash of Light...th...then Q. She was beautiful, beyond anything she ever had seen. She slipped from Kristy and approached her, bottom lip trembling. She stood before Q for a moment.

"Why can I remember nothing?" She asked. "Why can everyone remember their past but me? Why do I have ears and a tail and...and this uniform?" She demanded. Her shy, quiet demeanor was a bit gone for the moment, her voice a bit hard and demanding of the woman. She didn't hesitate to ask - she wanted answers. She wanted to share her story.

 

She wanted to know where home was.

Tristan just stared at everything that had just happened for a moment as he sat on the floor "(okay all that happened a little fast)" Tristan looked to both the doctor and Q for a moment as well as the new arrivals but he focused on Q "(So this is Q the voice and the one who brought us here she crushed all those Marauders in an instant i really can't help but wonder why she called us to this place if she can deal with half the problem so easily)" still sitting while thinking Tristan couldn't help but notice the two new arrivals speaking out "(Saiyans? Memory Lose? It might be a bit mean to say this but the group that found us might be a strange bunch not that I can say anything though)" Looking to Q once again Tristan simple asked "So why show yourself now I'm guessing you could of wiped out those Marauders even without showing yourself to us Q from the amount of power so why reveal yourself now?"

Maxwell looked with a serious expression through it all, seeing Q taking care of the marauders impressed him, although he wasnt too sure if her appearance was exactly 'Real',  he was still doubtful even now, seeing Sora and Yuki being the firsts to appraoch her he glanced at the doctor, who was also strange on his own.

 

Maxwell then glanced to the man's question (Tristan), ",Good question, maybe she just wanted to show herself to us ,finally, or pherhaps to meet the doctor" Maxwell commented as he then looked at the Doctor, and unlike the others who approached Q first, he approached him.

 

"Am I right in assuming you are connected to the creation of the city in  some way?" was his question to the Doctor.

The firework did wonders, to say the least. People came over riding in soft, fluffy clouds that seemed to have a life of their own! Then, a doctor appeared with them, and then, Q! The Q! The one that had been talking to them all of this time! "Chester...I think that's her. That's the voice I was talking about. That's Q!" Nora said as she pointed in surprise. She really didn't expect Q to actually show up eventually, as if at all. Now they had so many new teammates around them along with the voice that had been guiding them around, it was all very much to take in for a matter of minutes. As far as she could see, no one except Q knew who the Doctor was exactly, and the two of them seemed to be acquainted one way or the other. "You're Q...wow...you could've totally saved us so many times before, you know?!" Nora asked. Seriously. They had been almost killed countless of times. If she could've appeared when the dolls were attacking, it would've been wonderful help. "But wait, if you're here, then it means that something is very wrong, isn't it?" Nora asked worryingly. "If you're having to interrupt whatever this is...what exactly is starting to happen?"

"Questions, questions and even more questions! I doubt she can answer them all guys." Yuki said, standing next to Q. His red tail coiled up like a spring and he used it to bounce up and down for fun. Still using his red tailed spring, he bounced over to the new group. "So you must be the group that called out for help. My name's Son Yuki, the red tailed Saiyan." He said smiling and bouncing up and down on his red tail.
