Alysa watched as Nate started walking towards the East. She could certainly feel something from there... But screw that guy. If she was going to follow anybody, it most certainly wouldn't be him. Alysa turned all the way around. She could feel some things this way too. She smiled, determined that she should just go this way instead. The Fencer went to the beat of her own drum, always. Practically her motto. She started strolling towards the southwest, not particularly caring if anybody followed her or not. Alysa smiled, feeling good about her choice. As she approached the southwest area she saw...

Aro glanced between everyone. Tristan was gone. Nate had left and so had Alysa. Aro swallowed, watching Nate go, and then turning again to see Alysa.

She felt horrible. She didn't know what to say or do after all of that, and the fact that she so stubbornly tried to end her life hung in her mind. She clenched her fists and held her head high, though, as she followed behind Alysa. Nate was an ass, and at least Alysa was sensible. Aro gave a glance back to Asher before quickening her pace up to catch up to Alysa.

"Hi," Aro said, "I....don't suppose you wouldn't mind the company?"

Le Chef finished eating his sandwich as Maxwell answered the questions. "Ah, your memory is better than mine, Maxwell. She did say she was powerless to stop them. Powerful enough to drag us here from our homes, powerful enough to bestow power unto us, but powerless to stop the dolls. And so, we are brought in, to purge the city from them, it would seem. But no sooner do we attempt to do so, then one of our numbers is dragged away, a "sacrifice." But a sacrifice to what? If the city were to want us dead, would it not rather kill us all there, rather than just take one?" Wiping some crumbs from his mouth daintily, Le Chef noticed an approaching Yuki, and began making another sandwich for the latecomer. "Questions, questions. It is certainly no secret what "Q" must stand for, no?"

In response to Yuki's question about dreams, Le Chef nodded. "Of course, young man. I owe my crab quiche recipe to just such a dream. The part about the flying camels, I just ignore."

"Remember what Q said, she didn't know what would happen to them, maybe they didn't die...but I agree with you about the her though, there is more to it than we think, she did say by completing the trials we'd be able to learn the truth about why we are here, why she chose us and what is this city and what does it want...although I won't hold my breath, she has been pretty vague so far" he said as he finished eating the food le chef made for him.

He then heard Le chef's statement about the letter Q's meaning, maybe she is the "Queen" of the city, or maybe not, I doubt we'll get to a conclusion until we do the trials, but honestly, im more interested in heading to where that comet went, she said that would unlock more of our powers..." he said with a normal tone as he then saw Yuki, who looked scared as if he had a nightmare, then hearing Le chef's statement, choosing to ignore it.

"Sometimes, although bad dreams usually mean something...or at least they say they do" he said to Yuki.

Yuki sighed as he recalled the dream. "Well....I think I just had one of those dreams and, well......Let me tell you about it." Yuki sat down on his cloud. "It started with me standing in the entrance of a park.....A beautiful park. It was so sunny and happy, it was filled with life! But then.....The first words Q said echoed......The world is not what you think it is.....It was like time stopped. Everything stopped. Then wind just blew and covered every thing in darkness.....Everything was pitch black. The place then lit up to white......Pure white. And that's when a silhouette of a woman appeared. My first thought was......It could be Q. She started to turn and walk away. I tried to go after her, but darkness came again...." He stopped for a moment. "And.....then.....That's when.....My most hated enemy appeared.....HIM. HIS white silhouette stared at me....It made feel cold and dark inside.....That's when he rose his hand and this giant white, red eyed Great Ape rose up, joined by 2 red eyed Dolls! Yes. 2 Red Eyed Dolls. HE then said the word "Korosu" which means......Kill.......Then that Giant Great Ape had its fist slamming down on me! And well.....That's it......" Yuki shivered as he recalled this dream.

"This Q woman......Has a lot of "Questions" that need to be answered......I don't know if her silhouette was in my dream or not.....But I need to know...."

"It's okay Sora.  It doesn't matter what happened.  Any other girl in your shoes would've done the same thing.  Besides, if something meant it would keep you safe, then I don't mind getting a little hurt.  So don't blame yourself on it.  If anything, blame it all on the City, and Q for that matter.  Plus, I feel great with you around.  So whatever comes in the way, I know I can handle with you.  Knowing you have my back cause we'd be friends.  Right?"  Kristy closed her eyes and smiled, being positive on things.  She opened her eyes and looked at Wylnn heading to the pod.  Holding her head with the right hand, Kristy said:  "I don't like the idea for anyone to go like this.  But if that's what you really want to do, I guess I can't force you out of it.  So I'll just wish you the best of luck."

Sora sniffed, and then clung to Kristy's free, unhurt arm with fear. She was shaking still, eyes on Wylnn. She was...going to sacrifice herself...for pepole she barely knew. And all Sora could do was watch, not letting go of Kristy.

Wlynn looked at Kristy.

"Yes I'm sure i want this. besides like i said. Its the best choice. But don't worry I'm not just going to up and die. I'll meet you guys some other time tho i cant promise it." there was a brief moment of silence.

"I don't have another dramatic speech so I'll just put it simple. I'm going." Wlynn said with a chuckle. Once more she walked towards the pod and entered it this time. With a final wave she closed the door.

'That was harder than i expected. I just hope that the officer can keep the two antagonists under control.' She thought to herself getting an image of the group.

(Ok that was the final decision for the heaven sacrifice)

And so Wlynn and the pod shot underground, with the hole covering over immediately after. With that the walls on all sides of the Haven group dropped back into the ground and they were finally free to roam like the other groups now.

In the room underground Jay, Ailder, Tristan, and Itachi  were joined by another. A final bod slammed into the room, bursting open to reveal Wlynn...

Finally all the groups were free to roam where they would...

As Wlynn was gone as tribute,Reverie sighed with grieve. "Looks like it takes a long time to meet again. " Reverie said as he closed his eyes, began to wonder what would might happen to her from here on out."Now then, since the walls have finally dropped,I guess our only choice is to roam this City. Either alone or being accompanied with..." Reverie said as he still thinking about his decision...

"Well then, now that that nasty business is done with, I'm off to explore." said Liath, in an unusually chipper tone. "If anyone wishes to come with me, feel free." and with that Liath began walking southeast, nearly skipping with excitement.

"I see. Good to have you, Reverie." Liath said. He couldn't yet get a proper read on Reverie, but he seemed like a decent person so far. After all, he did jump in to defend him and Kristy during the previous battle. And besides, while he wouldn't admit it, Liath was glad he wouldn't be alone for a while. Continuing southeast, the two of them eventually encountered...

A melody heard in the distance. A faint sound with emanating light. A compulsive need to reach the objective. He reached out his hand, trying to grasp it.

"I.... want it."

Laciann woke up to the sounds of fighting, particularly a woman shouting at people. "Ugh, damn idiot. Is this how College will be from now on?" Rolling over to his side, he dozed off into his inner mind, not aware that his bed was now cold cement. Finally having enough energy, the young adult stood up, noticing his surroundings. Plain, blank buildings drowned his vision as he looked around nonchanlantly. The skies themselves seemed drained of life as he walked around, shoving his hands into his onyx-hued coat's pockets. Something. Feeling a compulsive need to head towards a direction, Laciann began to awkwardly sprint. Extending his hands, he left his fingertips graze a nearby building, enjoying the soft feeling. An abrupt tug caused him to turn his head around. Taking his eyes off his destination while continuing to run, the man noticed a long string attached to his fingers, connected to the building. "W-what," he moaned, trying to pull it off by running farther away from the building, "What is th-" Laciann then felt the full impact of running straight into a person. Colliding, he nearly fell face first, but managed to spin midair, and land on his back, the string wrapping around his body.

Alysa had just turned back to say something delightfully honest, when a boy had collided with her full speed. She went tumbling to the ground, scraping her elbows on the street. She leaped to her feet quickly. "Who the heck are you! And why the hell do you think that just colliding into me without looking where you're going is okay! Punk!" The Fencer just about screamed at the guy, furious for his inadequacy. How uncoordinated does one have to be to completely knock into her not on purpose. She turned back around, frustrated, and crossed her arms. "Know what? Whatever. Come along if you want, but you start with negative 3 reputation in my book. Raise it up to the positives." Alysa said, her tone uncaring and still tinged with anger. She once again started walking towards the southeast...

Kristy watched when the pod with Wlynn inside go down in the ground.  "There she goes."  she speaks out a bit depressed.  She turns her head to see Liath and Reverie heading off to somewhere.  "And there those guys go." she says.  Turning north, Kristy says:  "I think it's time to go.  Probably not a good idea to stay here."  With her right hand, she points in that direction and says:  "Sora, how about we go this way?  (northeast)  I think I saw one of the comets drop down there.  That is, if you want to go this way."  Turning to Jason, Kristy says:  "So, what are you going to do officer?"

Sora watched the boys go, hands now gripping the hem of Kristy's shirt like a small child. She was silent, up until Kristy pointed out a direction.

"O...okay." she said softly, pressing closer. It was feeling extremely lonely now, and looked at Jason.

"Are...are you leaving us too, Officer?"

[Haven]

Jason swallowed hard as he watched the pod with Wlynn inside disappear into the streets. He really wished there was another way to deal with the situation, but unfortunately for the officer, he wasn't exactly prepared for a scenario as unique as the one he had just encountered. The walls disappeared, and once again revealed the city.

He found it odd that several of the group members immediately started to leave, but Jason decided not to question it. Kristy and Sora were just about to depart as well, and the officer couldn't help but feel a little scared at the idea of being alone in a place that he was unfamiliar with.

"So, what are you going to do officer?" He heard Kristy ask.

"Are...are you leaving us too, Officer?" Sora added in.

"Well, I need to find out where I am for starters," Jason calmly replied back, "I'm gonna try finding the nearest police station and find out more about what's going on here. I also need to requisition Polly again, because she's not coming whenever I call her for some reason. I'll tag along with you girls until I find a major street intersection." He noticed where she was pointing, and shrugged at the decision. "Lead the way then. In the meantime, I'll be trying to get myself back onto the net."

He waited until Kristy went first, trailing both her and Sora as he tinkered with his personal radio and continually pressed a button that was on a small rectangular box attached to his utility belt. "Officer Carmichael to central, please respond..." he quietly repeated into his shoulder mic as he continually flipped through the usual secure police radio channels, "Carmichael to central, please respond." As he tried to reestablish a link with something familiar, Jason surveyed the area, particularly looking for the street names or, even better, a directory of some sort to help him become oriented with his new surroundings. As he looked around, Jason saw...

Le Chef listened out Yuki's recollection patiently. Frankly, he wasn't much for the interpretation of dreams: from experience, eating something spicy, or perhaps even eating nothing at all, could cause the most bizarre hallucinations. Instead, he handed Yuki the sandwich he had made. "Then we shall find Ms. Q, shan't we? Though whether the lady with all the questions is capable of giving us but one answer remains to be seen." Still a bit stiff, Le Chef gestured to the south east. "But I agree with Maxwell. Finding answers can be like whipping eggs: you won't get the desired end result unless you stir things up. I am rested, and ready for whatever might come our way. And whatever our comets bear as their fruit might lend us some hint about precisely what it is that is trying to kill us."

"Huh, weird dream indeed" Maxwell commented at Yuki's recollection, he nodded at Le chef's statement about finding Q, after all she would hold all the answers they sought, or at least thats what he thought anyway.

Maxwell looked to the south west for a little while then "Well the comet was to the south east, and it shouldn't be too far, and as Q said, we complete its challenge, our powers grow, and to be honest, the more power the better our chances" he said as he turned around and faced the others "Are we all ready?" he asked, "Yuki, you think you can make us some clouds for us to travel faster? that is if it isn't too tiring for you of course, we can walk there without any problems" he said with a normal tone.

Once Yuki took a bite of the sandwich Le Chef made, he felt happy once again! He nodded to Maxwell's request.

"You bet Max!" Yuki started to blow out white, soft clouds for everyone.

"I was thinking Southwest to have the chance to meet more people, but Southeast works as well for me!"

As Alysa stomped off, fuming, Aro walked over to the fallen boy and knelt down.

"You alright?" She asked him, not offering a hand or anything else to help him up, "I think you may have collided with one of the most hostile people this side of the City, I'm afraid. Best you didn't collide with me. I would've blown a hole through your chest and we wouldn't be talking right now."

She smirked and stood up, only then offering an arm to Laciann, "Get up already. Alysa's gonna be halfway to wherever we're going by the time you get up!"

((As a quick note: the map won't be updates on weekends as I don't have access to Photoshop then, but I'll make sure it's up to date for each weekday update.))

Nathan Group

Nathan could feel himself approaching the source of the energy he had felt. "... What do I have waiting for me?" Before Nathan was...

A huge spire, a single cylindrical tower that seemed to be emanating pure energy. A huge door stood at its base, one door open, leading to a blank white room with nothing but an elevator that led upwards. Standing guard in front of the tower, however, were two bulky dolls, each holding in their hand pure white spears. They stood at both sides of the entrance door and as Nathan came into view, they both lowered their spear points at him and advanced cautiously...

Nathan had a fight on his hands.

Reverie and Liath Group

Continuing southeast, the two of them eventually encountered...

A huge gray metallic pod. It stood out very distinctly in the purely white City. A huge hatch from the pod had been opened and two gigantic four legged beasts emerged from it. They were seemingly made of shadows, as various darkened shades danced across their bodies of gray. The only other color on them were the two pure red spheres that seemed to be where their eye would have been. On their backs were small gray machines that seemed to be some sort of projectile cannon.

Q chimed in to explain the nature of these creatures. "These are the Marauders. Sent from those who wish The City to be their own. The Marauders will seek to destroy this place and especially all things living with in; that is to say their target is you. The StarFall locations are simply the places where they make their entrance into this world to begin their bloody work. I expect you know what to do."

As if in response, the two creatures turned towards their new opponents and snarled with their silvery fangs. One sprinted at Reverie, and the other suddenly fired an incredibly fast projectile from the device on its back towards Liath. The projectile moved fast and was the size of a small cannonball.

The first StarFall fight had begun...

Laciann, Alysa, Aro Group

As the group approached the area from which the strange energy seemed to be emanating they found... a strange sight.

In this block of The City, buildings seemed to phasing in and out of reality, appearing and then evaporating. The streets seemed to contort and shift in front of their eyes... something was very wrong with this section of The City.

At the epicenter of this strange phenomenon was a rift... a sort of... portal from which the energy and fluctuations seemed to be emanating...

Now the choice for the group was "should they enter or not?"

Jason, Kristy, Sora Group

As the trio progressed northeast towards the impact point of the StarFall comet, they came upon a huge gray pod, with four hulking gray humanoid figures with glowing red eyes emerging from a newly-opened hatch in it. In their hands they each held blades.

"These are the Marauders..." Q's voice spoke to the party. "The invaders of the City, sent by the people who wish to see you all killed and see this place under their control. Tread carefully..."

The four figured suddenly shot their glances towards the approaching party and one barked out word that seemed to be spoken with an inhuman voice.

"Identify yourselves."

The four gray figured raised their swords and approached slowly...

Maxwell, Le Chef, Yuki, Natasha Group

The group of four headed southeast, through various white streets and blank buildings until they came upon a smoldering gray pod that had only just crashed into the street before them. At first there was no movement, but then the pod began to shift and move... and suddenly it rose into the air as legs extended underneath it, and then arms extended to both sides. A large red eye opened in the center of the pod, which was now revealed to be some sort of sentient robotic being. It stood 40 feet tall and lumbered towards the party, never taking its one-eyed gaze of of them.

Then they heard Q. "This is a marauder. The StarFall comets are attempts by these being to invade The City, kill of you, and claim this place for their own. I expect you understand what must be done..."

Right as she finished speaking the huge robotic Marauder used one of its gargantuan lengthy arms and swiped at all four that stood before it, demolishing the building they stood under as well...

Their first StarFall fight had begun.

Asher Group

As Asher advanced through the blank streets in northern Crest he spotted a gray pod smoldering to his left (to the west). It seemed to be one of the comets that had fallen. It appeared that there were creatures beginning to emerge from it as well.

Further north, however, seemed to be the division between Crest and an unknown district to the north.

So now Asher was faced with a choice; continue north into a new district or inspect the fallen comet at the StarFall landing spot?

"A marauder?" Maxwell commented about the name as he saw the thing begining to attack them "look out!" he he shouted as he was barely able to dodge the Marauder's swipe by turning into electricity and dashing a few meters to the side, he quickly unsheathed his sword and analised the thing they were now facing.

"The legs" he said as he quickly charged his sword and dashed at its leg, and slashed with a electric charged slash as he dashed away again, "Are you guys alright?" he asked

"Looks like we got company. Barriers of Hell!" Reverie said as he began to perform a barrier of darkness that he creates from his left hand to protect both him and Liath from the projectiles of the Marauder by incinerating it. He quickly began to summon his Diablo cannon from his right hand to aim at the other Marauder whose charges towards him. He began to shoot his cannon, hoping that his attacks hit it. "This looks harder than I thought..." Reverie grinned as he's in a tight situation,as he can't protect both of them all the time.
