Aaand here we go!

A room in the comfortable midsummer morn had been illuminated by the rising sun. The door leading to the room read simply "Roen", inscribed in the imperfect doorway which of course was handcrafted, as per the owning family's wishes. Carved furniture, sheepskin blankets, and a starry blue paint could be found along it. The room was littered, despite its antique appearance, with models of gaming systems - Macrosoft's ExBox, Nony's RayStation, and Rintendo's Knee U.

A boy, just 18 years of age, had stirred, disturbed by the light that beamed on his face. He yawned, popped off out of his sheets, got dressed, and left his room to start his new day off as awesome as he felt now.

((Oi. Cut that dividing line in half, it's breaking my screen!))

Poor Roen didnt see it coming. From behind, whisper quiet, he was tackled. thing, warm arms encircled his stomach, and the quietness was broken by a loud cry of "MORNING ROEN!"

Zion, one of the many guards, had him in a tight, warm hug. Her snow white wings angled a bit and at rest, she was giggling. "Took you long enough." She teased.

{Sudon Military Headquarters}

Men marched to and fro, others hurried. The Knights of Sudon geared for battle, but a select few stood in the war room.

Soren de Wynter, the Winged Paladin, was near the head of the table. A General in the Aerial Force and holder of the rank of Paladin. He was silent, watching small flags moved too and fro on the large map before them, generals arguing over which place they would attack.

Soren was quiet. His Aster Knights would be well in this attack. All he had to do was wait.

Patience would win out.

"Crap! When did you get here? You're pretty stealthy for a girl who can be seen a mile away with those things, aren't you?"  Roen poked Zion with his first and third finger - a playful tribe custom - and grinned from ear to ear.

"Now get outta my room. I gotta change!"

In the throne room of Sudon, the three princes and its king were in council. "So we're in agreement, are we?" asked the youngest, Prince Perseus Sudon. "We attack the Fennikusu Tribe today, and attempt to wipe them out, correct?" he continued, turned towards the King. "If so, I prostrate myself, and beg of you a favor, my king," he started, looking directly at the King. "Allow me to lead the charge against them," he finished.

He did not like the prospects of the fight, but if he could wipe out the Fennikusu, or even lead a good enough attack, then he might gain the king's trust. And if the king didn't accept his request? Why, he'd simply have one less prince to deal with. Perseus had to prevent himself from laughing at how he'd win either way. He pondered summoning his scepter and twirling it, but that seemed too much like grandstanding for his tastes.

Zion giggled. "What, don't want me to get ready with you~" she teased, but let go. Backing up, Roen would find she was in her nightgown still, which was a bit of a feat - as a guard of the Fenikkusu after all, most were in tunics or something. Zion?

Girly as humanely possible. And a relentless teaser.

Soren raised an eyebrow. Perseus. The Littles prince that could wanted to lead the charge. How...interesting.

Soren cleared his throat, and spoke.

"I volunteer the Aster Knights to accompaNY the Prince in his...vanguard. we are more than capable of ensuring his con5inued safety."

(Fenikkusu tribe)

Dex resumed his normal schedule, helping out the guards that watched over the walls of the outpost, always alert for any attacks that might happen, that is until he was approached by a fellow Fenikkusu tribe member, who seemed to have run for quite a while, "Calm yourself what happened?" Dex asked the man "Sir Carther, we must warn Roen at once! the Sudon are planning an attack on the tribe as we speak!" the man said to Dex's surprise and amusement, he knew it was just a matter of time for an attack, "Right, go get some rest I'l go warn Roen!" he said dismissing the man as he hurried to where Roen was, which was most likely his room.

It tok about 4 minutes to Dex to run around and get to where Roen's quarters were, he didn't even bother knocking on the door as he simply assumed he was laying down and would tell him to enter anyway, only to be faced with Roen being hugged by Zion "..." he simply stared at them for a bit before clearing his throat "Roen, I was warned that the Sudon are preparing to attack the tribe today! it is of urgent matter...but considering the situation, i'l leave you two alone" he said as he slowly closed the door behind him.

(Sudon war room)

THe doors to the war room quickly opened as Alicia walked into the room and got to her seat, she had already been briefed about the attack plan and had just overheard the prince's wishes to lead the charge, she simply stood quiet as she watched everyone else talk about the plans,  she took a glance towards Soren, leader of the astar unit, a respectable man, she knew her orders to nullify the Fenikkusu's magic in order for the Aster knights to charge into the fray more easily, in all actuallity allow almost all of the army to charge in more easily...

"Prince perseus, are you fit for the task of leading the charge? because after I nullify their magic its going to get chaotic." she said with a smirk.

Roen, almost lost by Zion's teasing, had snapped to his senses.

"Hey, wait!" he called out.

"Ahhh jeez. Zion, let's go see what he wants. It almost felt like... Dex said something strange..." In saying this, he turned slightly away and murmured the words, since she knew how to tell his feelings...

The shade of the eyes darkens to the purple of concern.

"When did Zion get here?" Dex whispered to himself "No one is ever able to spot her for some reason...yet she looks like she'd stand out like a sore thumb" he said, he was waiting at the Hallway leading to his room in order to tell Roen about what was going to happen soon, and if they didn't prepare, well they wouldn't be getting out of this alive thats for sure. Considering Sudon was a heavy militaristic and powerful state, and if the Fenikkusu were to fall, a war would break out between the nations.

Zion frowned, and pulled Roen close, staring into his eyes.

"Why is it I never get to be with the only friend I really have here?" She slumped. "Lead the way, my Liege."

Soren looked to Alicia. "careful, Mage Destroyer, that you do not cripple my Aster Knights as well." He admonished. "We will not rely on your skills alone. The Prince will be defended by my winged knights, and we will burn the Tribe to ash alongside him." He scowled. "Chaos is nothing to fear, either. It only means order has yet to set in. An order Perseus eill lead in."

Roen patted Zion's head. He looked at her, the teal in his eyes now showing. There was a slight silence in the room.

You're my family. I'm sorry, but maybe later.

The words he said in his mind he couldn't speak. But he grabbed her hand and headed towards the Hallway, where he knew Dex would be.

Despite the seemingly empty space stereotypical tribes might have, the Fennikusu had some top-notch advanced technology. The lighting of the hallway was extravagant, something you'd see in a fairly wealthy place. Spotting Dex down the hall, Roen, still leading Zion, said to himself "There he is"

Dex glanced at them as he saw them down the hall, he waited for them to get to him before looking at Roen, "Roen, I know I am not an official of the fenikkusu, I am simply an ally, but I was warned by one of our spies in the Sudon capital that they are planning an attack on our tribe by today, if they are to attack at full force and we aren't prepared it might mean the end of the tribe and us" he said with a serious tone as he looked at Zion and giving her a small nod before looking back at Roen "So I went to warn you first, considering you're the heir of the tribe, we need to prepare." he told him

(Sudon's war room)

Alicia gave a smile as Soren told her to make sure her magic wouldn't bring problems to his soldiers "I will make sure not to, All they need to do is wait for my signal before charging in." she said as her expression changed to an amused one as she heard him speak about Perseu's protection "I don't doubt Perseu's abilities, I am just concerned, even if he isn't going to be the next king of Sudon losing a prince is a big hit to the amry's morale...and im sure you know that morale is everything in war" she told him

Alicia spoke out. "Hmph," snorted Perseus. "I am very fit for it. I'm probably the most fit person in this room, I argue," he said, summoning his scepter. "And I challenge anyone who disagrees to me, to a fight," he finished, pointing his scepter at everyone in the room. The second Prince, Theodore, ran out of the room, his knees shaking. The first Prince, Theseus just scoffed at Perseus. He walked out of the room, but added, "If you fail in your conquest, know that this rests on your head," before he left. The king spoke out, "Well then. As you have no official contenders, you are chosen. But do not fail me, if you value your head."

Zion frowned, and pulled Roen close, staring into his eyes."Why is it I never get to be with the only friend I really have here?" She slumped. "Lead the way, my Liege."Soren looked to Alicia. An order Perseus eill lead in."

Perseus, happy that the king had chosen him, was even happier when Soren spoke out. "I thank you greatly for your words. They do me great honor. And I shall live up to them," he said, solemnly. He was planning on wiping out the entire Fennikusu Tribe, no matter what. But he was worried.

What if the Riderrek attacked the Fennikusu as well? Who should he fight first? Team up with the Fennikusu to destroy the Riderrek? Well, he'd come to that when it mattered most, if it ever came up.

"Oh, I do not plan on... losing. Trust me. And I shall become the next king, do not doubt me of that," replied Perseus, pointing his scepter at Alicia. "Have a little trust in your prince," he said, holding in a laugh. Because he felt like laughing. Laughing at how easy it was going to be.

"It's no problem! We'll take 'em on, no sweat! Right?"

Roen looked to Zion for assurance.

"Besides, I'm just starting to get the hang of my power! They'll be over before ya know it! Family is greater than war, and you're still a big part of ours!" His eyes couldn't help but shift to a lime green, considering his total confidence".

Dex frowned at Roen's response, "Roen it won't be that easy, the Sudon will attack us with everything they have, they will have thier elite units going all out on us, and I hear they have means of disabling our magic now, even with the fenikkusu's advanced technology, im afraid that we won't live through this if what they say is true" he said with a serious and concerned tone in his voice.

"Even if we can take them out without a problem, we'd best prepare nonetheless to prevent losses, I just thought you should be the first to know about this that is all" he said to him

Alicia smiled again at the Prince's reply to her, "I just think we shouldn't underestimate the fenikkusu, if they are the only thing keeping us from destroying the Riderrek, must mean they have great power as well. but they aren't expecting an attack, so we have the advantage before the attack even begins." she said with a neutral tone.

"When you put it that way.... jeez, Dex!"

Roen materialized his sword. He tilted it towards himself blade upwards, in slight prayer, then sitting it at his side said "Dad needs to know. Let's get ready."

"Hey, Zion..."

Roen was sure he could take Sudon on anytime... but, if the attack was as perilous as Dex was saying it was... well then, he wanted as few casualties as possible. And Zion was definitely important to him.

Zion bit her lip, then hugged Roen tightly.

"...I must go get ready. Your father might not like his sons personal guard in her nightgown."

She quickly hurried off.

"Im just concerned, thats all" Dex said as Roen quickly materialized a sword, and told them to get ready, "I'l leave you to it Roen, I will be in the training grounds if you need me" he said as he saw Zion take off first to get arranged, he paid no mind as he soon left Roen to his business as he headed over to the training area.

Roen couldn't help but watch her go, and strayed his eyes there even after she left the door, one of his hands still outstretched. Then Dex left to the training grounds. He was a little shaken... But he knew what he needed to do. Roen sprinted to the hallway entrance, and went to gather the rest of the tribe members, calling them to secure the perimeter. Then, he forced his way to the training grounds.

Upon seeing Dex, he called out "Is this where they're planning to assault us?"

While Roen was rilling up the tribe members Dex was training his Sonic ripper technique, he stood in his fighting stance for a moment looking at the training dummie in front of him, about 20 meters away, he concentrated for a minute before unsheating his sword and swinging it simultaneously, soon enough a huge gust of wind could be felt as the dummie was swiftly cut in half, he looked at his sword and smiled, seeing as it was still as sharp as always, he quickly sheathed it, before he could set up more training dummies he was once again approached by Roen.

"I doubt it, Sudon will probably attack from the front, with everything they have at their disposal, so we'd best reinforce the front gates, but i'd suggest also covering the side areas like this one as well" he told Roen

I woke up slowly adjusting my eyes to the bright sunlight streaming through the slats of my wooden window. I got out of my hammock and checked my provisions. Apparently my breakfast would have to consist of berries and some bread. I took my my short bow and went out into the warm, glowing woods. I looked back at my dilapidated little cabin, my home for the past two months, give or take a few days. It was mostly made out of scrap wood that I had gotten from dead trees and was just barely keeping the wind out. I had recently been worrying about the chill the air had taken on recently. How was I supposed to survive in this little cabin when the cold months come. I could make a fire and risk burning down my entire house. I took a deep breath, cleared my head, and headed into the deepest part of the wood.

Roen nodded to Dex. "Sure thing, boss!"

He was going to get to the northern side... but he needed to check up on Zion first. He made a sharp turn to his house, as she was probably there already.

She never seemed to want to change in her own room, did she? Not that Roen minded much...

Nope. She didnt.Zion was currently in his bathroom, clad in light armor that let her eings free. She was lacing her boots. As Roen entered, she looked up, hair tyed back with an...armored tiara like thing.

"...in my defense...I'm not naked."

Roen almost felt like a creep. But instead of embarrassment, his humor kicked in.

"Well, I was KINDA hoping to take you for a spin either way."

And in that moment the words left his mouth, he realized just how stupid he sounded.

Zion's eyes went wide and blush crept into her cheeks.

"...I doubt your father wants you to share your bed with me." She looked away, and picked up her two swords. she sheathed them between her wings. "...sorry that was harsh..."
