Welcome to Wonderland (RP)

Recommended Posts

Posted Image   This is the story of a Wonderland, a place you might’ve already visited perhaps?
Don’t be silly. All Children have visited Wonderland. You may not remember it, but it sure remembers you. Or, at least, I do. I am the Cheshire Cat, or perhaps just Cheshire. I have been the Guardian of Wonderland for many… Lives. I’ve seen people come and go, Triumph and Conquer, and die. I’ve seen all of what Wonderland has to offer. At least, I thought I did, until you lot arrived. Wonderland has changed, and not exactly for my benefit either.

We’ve had visitors. Mad visitors. Wonderland is trapped, as are the people who arrive here. Never has there been more than one Child to visit Wonderland before now. Because of this setback, I can’t leave, and neither will you, par through death.

Are you scared? You should be. Don’t turn your back, or you may find a knife lodged into it. Wonderland isn’t meant for you; the sooner you leave, the better for the rest of us, and perhaps for you as well. You may find yourself committing questionable actions, actions you as you are at your home would not do. That is because, as I have said, Wonderland isn’t meant for you, or any Child. Children have this… effect on Wonderland. It changes and reforms to fit that Childs own mind, or if you will, Imagination. What do you think will happen if more than one Child imagines at once?

If you find yourself somewhere you don’t want to be, call upon me. I’ll be sure to flip the situation for you.

-Wonderland has changed! Use your imagination and begin your adventure! Beware of enemies and friends alike, as you never know who could send you to your doom!-

~Alice~

“How doth the little crocodile improve his shining tail, and pour the waters of the Nile on every golden scale! How cheerfully he seems to grin, how neatly spreads his claws, and welcomes little fishes in with gently smiling jaws.” Alice found herself repeating this quite often, both to herself and to those whom she would come across. It had helped her in her previous visits, and it was helping here in this extended vacation. Vacation, she thought. She once enjoyed Wonderland, however, now it was more of a Plunderland. How terribly clever!

The Singing Brooks in the Pool of Tears… Oh, how she’d never tire of their voices; Even if they did sing some terrifying remarks.

The last one down is the first to arrive
The second one down is the last leavin’
The first to leave was never up;
They went down a-cleavin’.”

Alice purposed it was all nonsense anyhow.

Alice was nearly settled in a small cottage that she herself concocted; Nearly settled, as she was almost never there, par sleep and her frequent visits to the brooks that the cottage was founded along.

However, she could never rest. The Cheshire Cat would remind her daily.
“Wonderland needs saving, Wonderland needs saving!” She would often repeat his words when he came about.

His story begins with a mirror

Alec was packing random stuff in cardboard boxes, preparing them for leaving the old apartment. This apartment wasn't his,in fact, after the death of his great-grandmother he barely even know of,his brother inherited it.After wasting a bit of time, playing the old piano in the rather large living room,he went back to work. While packing he noticed..something odd. There was a mirror hanging on the wall but,his reflextion wasn't there. He got completely curious and confused until common sence hit him hard.He facedpalmed and pulled his phone to write this little message on his blogpost-38872-0-04999100-1424368255_thumb.jpg

After that cute moment of stupidity,he was about to go back to work only to be once again stopped by another looking glass that wasn't showing his reflection.

This time it wasn't a window.

"Am I hallucinating?"He thought as he knelt down to inspect the mirror that was leaned on a few boxes. He could see everything behind him,eve the dumb window from before. So he decided to touch the glass surface.

This became a mistake he'll never wish repeat.

In the speed of light he was pulled within the mirror, not even giving him a second to take in what happened. He scream his lungs out as he felt like he's falling to god knows where.Everything stopped with a loud thud noise. He lied there on the floor, with his hand covering his head. After a while he removed them,greenish-blue eyes trying to recognise where was he.

Hidden in a grove of yarn-leaved trees, Nyan-san lives. He is the"king" of this forest, and has made it his home. The grove is my exactly well hidden, but somewhat hidden.

The trees consist of purple, pink, and teal yarns, Nyan-san's home was the center navy blue tree. He lived in something similar to a huge nest made out of a big ball of yarn.

It looked like a ball of yarn at least. The inside was very home-like, with a bed, a kitchen, and furniture.

Nyan-san was perched up at the top of his tree, biting on a dead mouse.

"Oh when will someone find this non-hidden rainbow grove of yarn? Oh Alice, Alice, we need you Alive!" Nyan groaned.

"Oh!" Alice exclaimed, surprised by the sudden arrival of a brown haired boy appearing on the ground before her.

"What strange clothes... you're definitely not from Wonderland." Alice didn't bother asking if he was okay; She knew it was a pointless question. Where did the boy come from? Most certainly not HER London! "Who are you?"

Alec turned his head toward the voice's direction. He didn't expect someone to be with him.He still seemed paniced.Anyway to the look of it, the source of the voice was a blond girl younger than him, somewhere in her teen years. What confused him the most so far was her clothes. They looked quite old-fashioned ,almost like something someone in a play would wear. Then it hit him hard"Did you say Wonderland?"-he asked suprised as he franticlly stood up and look around. The lake, the cottage, the trees-Even the scenery looked surreal. He couldn't believe what was he seeing. He needed to calm down...but how?He decided to concentrate to the girl's question."Ummm...I-I'm Alec...Alec Hirsch.Y-you must be Alice?"He asked anxiously as he started pinching his hand, hoping to wake up.There was a little soft German accent in his speach. ~Alice~ "Oh, that darn cat sent you, didn't he?" Alice stomped, putting her hands to her waist. "Well, Alec, I'm sorry to say, but I won't be doing anything for that Cat anytime soon. You're wasting your time. There are others in Wonderland far more capable than I!" Flustered, Alice turned herself towards the makeshift cottage, before toning her temper. "I'm sorry that he put you up to this. Would you like some Yarn Tea? I know of a well hidden grove that is sure to give the perfect results. Wait inside, won't you?"

Alec had no idea how to reach to the sudden mood swing?"Cat..She means the Chesire Cat,right?"-he thought in himself as he gave a second look at the surrounding. The mirror was nowhere to be found. Not even in the sky."I actually came from a mirror...if that makes any logic.Have you seen it by any chance?"he asked as he followed her."A-alright..Are you sure you don't need any help?"that was his responce to her obligation.

"A mirror?" Alice stopped in her tracks, realizing this boy wasn't from Wonderland. "I'm so sorry to accuse you like that, Alec! It's just... wait, how did you know my name?" Alice brushed the question off as soon as she asked it. "I'm sorry, I haven't seen any mirrors in the Pool of Tears. And no, I won't need help getting any Yarn leaves."

Posted Image"Alec... you say?" The cat materialized above the Singing Brook, gleefully floating, bouncing his head forth and so.
"Alice was right about more reliable people in Wonderland." Leaving his grin above the cottage, Cheshire appeared before Alec, giving a slight bow. "I'm the Cheshire Cat. You must be new to Wonderland." Cheshire bounced more, giving a quick shot to Alice.
"That Yarn Tea does sound mighty good. Why don't you get those leaves for us?" Alice, who seemingly had such a grudge against the Cat before, complied, leaving the two alone to talk.

"I'll explain about that"he answered her confused question. He nearly jumped from hearing another unexpected voice. He looked up the Singing Brook.Speak of the Devil.Alec still couldn't get used to what was going on.He did nod with his head to the cat as a polite gesture after the bow."Reliable?...Reliable in the means of getting home?But..Reliable might not mean sane, right?"He tried navigating on how the books potrayed the classic characters,he was unaware of the other citizens here.If he could remember well,The Chesire Cat had helped Alice...sort of."You might as well heard that I'm looking for that mirror...Do you know where it is?"

[The White Rabbit]

Scurrying to and fro, lost near a rainbow grove, a white rabbit was anxious not to be late when getting home.

"Oh dear, oh dear! I shall be too late!", he shouted.

He snapped his head from left to right, and ran down a colored grove. He couldn't tell if it were day or night, but down the rainbow path he dove. This path really wasn't the way he planned, but any way seems good in this loony Wonderland. He kept running down this path, he couldn't stand and wait. So, he kept shouting shamelessly,

    "I'm late! I'm late! I'm late!"

[Luther Wellington]

Luther rode upon his small jackalope in the wide space of Wonderland. The jackalope showed no signs of struggle as the much larger human rode on his back.

"Yoo-hoo! Is there anybody out there?~", Luther cried. "Oh dear...I think I'm in the right direction...That's not correct." He hung his head down so his eyes could meet his dear jackalope. "Give my advice, Jacky!~", he shouted gleefully.

The jackalope snorted in annoyance, and replied in a high-pitched voice.

"Harrumph! Alright! Keep your nose to the sky!", it shouted.

     "Suggestion accepted!~", Luther responded.

With that, he snapped his head back, and his nose pointed to the clouds. The jackalope then started to slowly spin in circles.

"Good, good! Keep at it for a bit longer...I'll lose my way for sure!~", Luther chirped.

Nyan-san suddenly crouched down in a hunting position, his tail swaying behind his back and he getting low as he saw the rabbit.

"A little late to lunch!" Nyan-san yelled, suddenly pouncing down and onto the little rabbit.

"You look like lunch and dinner actually." He then said, licking his paw as he held the helpless rabbit down.

This Alice was sitting upon a bed of flowers. They sang to her the same thing they did when she first arrived, 'Alice, Alice, Alice, where are thou Alice?' She smiled as she stroked one of the flower's petals. "I'm right here.." When she said that, the flowers seem to be happy. They began to chant louder and Alice continued to nod. Finally, she stood up and the flowers became silent. "Oh my, it seems like someone is in danger." Alice chuckled to herself. Walking out of her garden, she entered the forest. It didn't take long for her to see Nyan-san on top of a small white rabbit. "Nyan-san," Alice walked over to the cat. "You may be the king of this forest, but that is not how you treat a guest." She said with a polite tone.

"But Clubbbsss....I just wanted a snack!" Nyan-san compliant.

"You're not fair..." Nyan-san pout, getting off of the White Rabbit and dashing over to the Alice of Clubs.

Nyan-san called this Alice, simply Clubs. It's easier for him.

"You're plants told you didn't they, nya~?" He asked, pawing at Alice's face.

"That is correct, they did. But if you are hungry.." She clasped Neko-san's paw with both of her hands revealing the green club marks. "You can come to my garden and we could have some tea and all kinds snacks, the White Rabbit can join us if he would like~" Alice sighed innocently. "My last visitor was extremely rude, but I'm sure there won't be any problems with you." She was giving off a bad aura now.

[The White Rabbit]

Oh, what a pity! The rabbit was caught! By the king of this forest that he had forgot!
"Oh me, oh my! Please! Let me go! I have somewhere to be, don't you know?"
He flailed and squirmed 'till the kitty let go. Oh, what a relief! All gone was his woe. He took out his pocket watch and gave it a peek, and to the Alice of Clubs, he anxiously shrieked!
"I'm late! I'm late, for a very important date! No time to say hello. Goodbye! I'm late! I'm late! I'm late!"

And with that, he hurried away, hoping deep inside he won't go astray.

Posted Image"Mm, Yesss, there are, many, mirrors in Wonderland. They are all working to not work for us. They simply only work now." Cheshire waved his tail in front of his face, blocking his grinless mug. He began flashing his eyes back and forth, different directions. "Does that mirror... suit you?" He said one last time before pointing his fat paw towards the Brook. Only as he looked, did a mirror appear.

"Beware, however, that it only works as it was meant to work. One way, you see? The only way, is in."

~Alice~
Alice trekked across the Pool of Tears, towards the Vale, and finally fell upon the Yarn Leaves she had hoped to find. They seemed to be the King of the Forest's favorite. You'd think that they were just called Yarn Leaves, but no. Balls of yarn, strings of yarn, sprouting from a spongy ground, acting as a canopy covering a path to a house in the Gardens. Speaking of Gardens, there was quite a commotion nearby. She could hear voices- familiar voices.
"You know, I really shouldn't get involved." Alice spoke as she walked closer to the noises. "After all, it is rude to- to intrude on someones private party." She climbed up a felt laddered with roots, interrupting her sentence. "Besides, I really should be returning to Cheshire for Tea. That cat can get quite mangy when-Oh!" She stepped onto a Hornduck, which let out a cry as it was intercepted in it's walk across the topped trail. Alice lifted her foot to let the poor creature proceed. "-when I'm late!"

He was puzzled by the cat's answer at first even a bit annoyed when Chesire started waving his tail in front of his face. But he had to admit it was quite soft.So Chesire was right, the same exact mirror he was pulled appeared. And this time,he could see his reflextion. He touched it's surface again, hell he even tried pushing himself thought it as hard as he could.Chesire was right. It didn't work.He felt like his heart sank."So,where's the way out?"he asked with a depressed tone in his voice. Nyan-san gulped, shaking his head."I have plenty of mice here to eat, I dont need fancy snacks." He said rather seriously, pulling his paws away. Nyan-san suddenly heard the voice of the nicer Alice."Aliceee~" he suddenly called, running off in the direction of her presence. "Are you picking some tea-leaves?" He asked.Nyan-san suddenly looked at her innocently."Yarn tea is the best...can I join you?" Nyan asked.

"Either you die, or everyone else who has stumbled into Wonderland does." He evaporated briefly before reappearing as he had looked before.
"But, no worries. You could just live here with me."

Alice heard the voice of Neko-san, the cat she had come to prefer over Cheshire himself.
"Neko-san! So, that was you making all that commotion!" Alice cheerfully greeted as the cat came up to her. "Yes, Yarn Tea is the best tea." She listened to Neko-san's question, and took a moment to consider.
"I'd love to have you over, but I recently came across another Stumblr. You can come along, just ease him into the senses, rather than overwhelm him." Alice picked up the basket of Yarn Leaves she had picked earlier. "Now, shall we?" Alice began walking back to her cottage.

His eyes filled with fear from what he had heard and saw."N-no...Alice has left this place once,t-there has to be a way out right?"He tried once again going thought the mirror, this time even knocking with his fists at it's surface."Arkadi, are you there?"Arkadi was his brother's name.

"Arkadi?Arkadi?!ARKADIIII!!!"

Nothing. The thought of never seeing his loved ones and friends scared him to death. But he couldn't lose hope just yet, right. He looked up at his cell phone which was suprisingly in his pocket.Sadly, there wasn't any connections so calling was out of the picture. But the good news were-the little battery icon on the screen was replaced by an infinity sigh. And that means it doesn't have to recharge! This would help in finding a way out.

He was still depressed however. He dipped his finger in the ashes what seems have been a fireplace and started writing on the mirror's surface. After a while, the mirror was dirty from the backward written message

Don't touch the mirror,Arkadi. Please send help.

~Alec

The message might not work. But at least he tried

"Did I say Neko?" Alice pondered for a second. "Hmm, must be because I've heard that word so many times in Wonderland, somewhere..." Alice continued walking, back down the path again. Mome Raths dispersed with her footsteps that grew closer to the pack, regathering as Nyan-san and Alice passed. They followed briefly before Alice left the forest clearing, and met with her cottage.

"I got your Tea, cat. Now what is it you want?" She asked.

"Oh... I don't like Tea." Cheshire evaporated once again, only this time, he did not reappear.

"That mangy Cat... Alec, you still want some tea, I purpose?" Alice asked before really giving the boy a longer look.

"Are you alright?"
