Stardustblade358 806 Posted February 21, 2015 Morning came, birds chirped and morning mist covered the city, the outskirts forest area no exception. Silas groaned to himself as he blinked a few times, laying down on the grass right under a tree. Morning dew had already covered his exposed body, dripping down as Silas carefully sat up. He rubbed his eyes only to feel them dry with a liquid. It was blood. Sitting up could give a clear view to make him realize that he was naked, his pants and hoodie somewhere nearby. Just a few feet away a deer carcass, barely anything but bones and a few muscles, as the rest had been eaten away. With a small hiccup, hands and claws covered in blood and blood smeared over his mouth, he groaned to himself. “Not again.” Silas brooded, licking some blood of his hands. He remembered chasing his prey across the forest, losing his shirt and pants along the way before finally pouncing on it, and the rest was a blur through the frenzy. However there was a small problem to nights like these. “I better get home and wash this blood off, otherwise some people might get scared.” Silas said, yawning as he stretched and reached for his clothing. Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted February 21, 2015 "No reason to say sorry. But you could be nicer." Lilith said seriously, getting off of Joel. "I should be saying sorry, little boy~" She said, smirking. "You seem uncomfortable. What's wrong?" Lilith asked, getting uncomfortably close to Joel's face.
Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) Joel sat up and pouted at Lilith. "I am not a little boy, I am a mature adult!", he stated. When she got uncomfortably close to his face, he pulled his head away. "I-I-I'm fine.", he lied. In fact, he was quite scared. "I-I was just on my morning walk, is all..." He stood up and brushed the dust off his coat. Trying his hardest to keep his cool, Joel offered a hand to Lilith to help her up. "I'm Joel, by the way. W-What's your name, and where are you headed off to?", he asked politely. If she tried anything funny, he could just manipulate her sound frequencies to disorientate her... Kingdom Key D 160 Posted February 21, 2015 Elisa got up from her bead and stretched her arms, yawning as she looked at the time. A bit late but not enough that she could not compensate by working faster. She quickly changed into normal clothes, picked up a canvas on her desk, as well as a few pencils, and then walked out the door. There was a lovely view of the city's skyline by the university campus. The siren had finished most of the line work yesterday, but there were a couple things she wanted to work on. When she was almost to her destination, Elisa noticed a crowd gathering by the side of the street. They didn't sound very happy, and there was a strong, unpleasant odor coming from that direction. She walked over to find out what was going on, but the crowd was too thick to see. Judging by the smell and that someone next to her had shouted something about a murderer, though, she doubted it would be pleasant. Putting the pencils safely into her pocket, Elisa folded her arms around the canvas and waited, wanting to know why the people were rioting over this, and to see how it played out. 1 Hargleblargleboo reacted to this
Firo_Procheniezio 71 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) Allen was locked in his room with the constant banging on his door. He touched the ground to see who the person was. He was approximately 52 kg and was about 170 cm tall. Knowing It is just another bully he didn't make a sound. The door was solid enough to withstand the force of 1200 N so the person wont be able to tear it down with ease. Next thing he knew he reached for the book he had red over 25 times : Advanced physic And began turning pages. 'Am i really going to have to live like this?' He asked himself in thought. Next he touched the wall and felt that the whole mass of the building is concentrated in the cafeteria. In other words no one was outside. He quickly opened his window and lowered down a rope. It could hold exactly 500 N So it was ideal for him. The wind blew slightly as the banging increased. He made his descent quickly knowing his legs can withstand a his force multiplied with the gravitational constant. Now he could make his way to the crime scene he heard about last night. (Sry if i'm using to much physics here I just thought It would make his power more believable) Edited February 21, 2015 by Firo_Procheniezio 1 Hargleblargleboo reacted to this
XxUtopiaxX 49 Posted February 21, 2015 Caesar was not having too great of a day. First, a failed visit with his brother. Followed by this. "Would you all back away? The crime scene tape isn't just there for decoration you know." Caesar addressed the crowd, his tone exhausted and frustrated. He turned back to the body. He would need to get it to autopsy for more detail, but as of right now, it looked very much like a murder. He had examined the rest of the crime scene, but to no avail. This perp was good. He had already gotten most of the evidence to forensics, but he had remained at the scene to find anything else. (Hargle, if you could give me a list of any kind of evidence found at the crime scene, that'd be great please) (Mine, the body was already taken to HQ for autopsy Read my posts from page 1) (Unless.... there was ANOTHER murder scene...) (Hargle!!!) Vincent arose to his radio alarm informing him of the riots that were going on in the street. As a police, he would always turn his radio to the emergency station in order to stay informed about impending or current danger. He hurried up to get dressed. As he put his pants on, the card Lilith gave him fell out of his uniform he wore the previous night. Flashbacks of her lingered his mind as he began to long to meet her once again. However, his duty push him through this temptation. I hope nothing bad happens by the time I get there, Vincent thought. However, the odds were against him. The previous night, on the night of the murder, Vincent and his team just happened to be in the area. In reality, he was about five miles away from the area. "I can make it," Vincent said rushing out of his house. Vincent flew up, and took off at about 300mph, reaching the riot in no time. He landed in the midst of the riot on purpose, wearing a white t-shirt, black chain pants, and black shoes. His hair still long and silver glistening in the sun, he blew a small gust of wind at everyone, blowing them away a few steps from each other. "What seems to be the problem now?" Vincent asked wishing to get this over quickly so he could pay a visit to that special someone.
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted February 21, 2015 "My name is Lilith." The Succubus introduced. She grabbed Joel's hand and lift herself up, then letting go. "Nice to meet you, Joel. I wasn't heading off in any particular direction." She smiled. "However, I was looking to find this man. His name is Vincent and he works for the police. Do you know where I could find him?" Lilith asked. (All of these boys in this roleplay will be targeted by Lilith BTW.)
Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted February 22, 2015 (@XxUtopiaxX - huehuehuehuehue...) The crowd of the riot was shocked by Vincent's appearance. The majority of the crowd was made up of irritated espers who were absent of any logic right now. They were on one side of the street, while a crowd of instinct-fueled beasts were approaching the other. "There were TWO more murders on Wenway Ave! Two little girls! TWO!", one esper answered Vincent. "As well as three missing people! We're tired of all of this! Our government is ignoring these events! We're going to put an end to all of those monsters ourselves!" "But hold on!~", an icubus interrupted. "Are you certain it wasn't just a Black Dog? Or if it was one of us, why not just banish them from the city?" "Because they'll expose their sickness to the world and destroy its peace!" "Are you serious? You all need to let go of the past. The government is keeping an eye on those individuals who give us a bad name." (Joel's part TBC 'cause PS3's character limit is still stupid.)
Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted February 22, 2015 Joel blinked at Lilith. "Umm...No.", he answered. "I'm not sure where he could be...Sorry. If you have a problem, you can call the police department and ask for him, I guess.", he said. "Anyways, you look like you're in a hurry. I'm sorry for clogging up your time with my lack of information...", he apologized. "Well, have a good day, Miss Lilith.", he said as he started to walk away in a random direction between the university and the woods.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted February 22, 2015 Silas walked with his hood up and his hands in his pockets. He would've washed the blood off in one of the nearby lakes, but he was terrified of ending up falling in and unable to get out, drowning in the process. As long as he reached home he should be able to take a nice shower. Showers don't make you drown, as easily. Just as he jumped over the fence that separated the forest area, he could hear the powerful shouts of a nearby riot. Ironically it was nearby of from the murder scene from last night. He carefully made his way, blending in with the crowed as he heard the loud hearings. Siding on the part of the beasts, he heard everything. "(More murders?!)" Silas thought. Who the hell was killing people?! Hearing the opinions from the Espers side however, didn't help calm him down. It only added fuel to his spark, creating a fire as Silas growled loudly at the comments. Once again his people were blamed, only because they were different, they were monsters. He wished he could keep his mouth shut, but his gut said otherwise. "You say that it is us to blame?! Maybe you should open your narrow mind for once and accept other options! I've known dozens of beasts who've been unfairly arrested due to suspicion and yet these crimes continue, so maybe you should look around for a monster of your own?!" Silas said, his lifted voice roaring as he shouted from within the crowd. By the time he realized that this only made him get involved into something not of his, it was too late. The fire was already lit. "(Sh*t, calm down, Silas.)" He thought, taking into consideration the apparent evidence that was the main focus of the riot in the first place. "(A black fang...?)" 1 Kingdom Key D reacted to this
Kingdom Key D 160 Posted February 22, 2015 Elisa was shocked. Two more deaths, this time children? The disappearances sounded out of place, the three deaths she knew of had been obvious and provocative, as though they were trying to make a statement, so why hide the bodies? It must be a different person... Unless it was a direct challenge to the police? She started paying attention just soon enough to hear someone shout about killing all the beasts. Wait, what? People were stupid sometimes. Then a boy, from appearance and sound probably a werewolf, started talking about narrow mindedmess and such. A good argument, but it would never work with a crowd like this. Still, "Isn't that slightly hypocritical?," she asked the Espers, "'One bad person killed five people so we are going to kill millions of other people because they aren't like us to show people that killing is bad,' you know, that type of thing?" Elisa wondered out loud.
XxUtopiaxX 49 Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) "Yes, we're going to need back-up on Wenway Ave. Subject being riot control because I don't feel like doing it myself. Oh we have another murder so get some transportation," Vincent radioed lazily. He would become very lazy if he found an easier alternative to a situation. "You're really killing us with your laziness. We're on our way," a team member radioed on the other end. Vincent yawned at his exhaustion. The previous night was long and he felt like he did not get enough rest. The crowd's roars were drowning his ears as they grew immense. Vincent raised a pistol and fired a couple of rounds in the air. "Everyone remain calm! We don't know what separate diety committed this murder! Therefore, we will not judge who did it!" Vincent shouted. "I'm tired of the discrimination in this city," Vincent mumbled. Putting his pistol away, he then turned to Caesar. "SWAT is coming to clean this body up here. Any signs or evidence you might've found about the killer while you were here?" Vincent asked him. Vincent knew Caesar in the force for a while now and the two were both good at what they did. He would communicate with him every now and then, but only for business. Edited February 22, 2015 by XxUtopiaxX
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted February 22, 2015 Lilith sighed as Joel left. She didn't even give him her card. She kept walking and was interrupted by gunfire. Lilith rushed her way over to the sound, and it was only Vincent trying to scare the crap out of people. She soon realized that two more people have been killed. Lilith made her way over to Vincent. "Is there anything I could help you with, Vincent~?" She asked, a worried look on her face.
Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted February 22, 2015 As Joel continued walking, he heard the sound of gunfire in the distance. He jumped up in fear and shrieked like a little girl. "W-What the heck?!", he shouted. Without hesitation, he ran towards the source of the noise. He ended in area of a dying riot, because the majority of the people were coming to their senses. Some of them even started walking away. Joel saw Vincent in the middle, and Lilith right next to him. "Well, I guess she found him...", he muttered. Joel looked around the area, then took out his phone and tried to call Ellen. There was no answer. "Oh dear God, I hope she's okay...", he thought. Without much success, he fueled up the little courage he had and went into the seperating crowds. "H-Hey...can somebody explain to me what happened here?", he squeaked. He hated large crowds. It made him feel like he was being crushed or pushed away.
XxUtopiaxX 49 Posted February 22, 2015 "Sir, we have arrived," Vincent's team members quickly rushed through the separating crowds to meet Vincent. "A little too late," Vincent sighedl. He looked towards the body. "We have another for autopsy," Vincent said to them. "We're on it," one member replied. As Vincent left the scene, he noticed a familiar voice calling his name. "Lilith, is that you?" Vincent asked turning around. Sure enough, it was. "Hey, I was planning on paying a visit earlier before my duties took over. Looks like there isn't a need to call you now," Vincent said happily to the stunning succubus.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted February 22, 2015 The officer shooting the gun certainly forced the crowds to disperse and lower their voices and opinions, keeping the two sides from lashing out at each other. Just as Silas was about to walk away, he picked up a familiar scent. A unique scent. He turned, looking around, he saw him. "Joel." Silas said, hurrying over to the young man's side. He walked up behind him with light feet, tapping him with his elbow. "More murders have occurred. The espers are blaming beasts and are suggesting everything will be fixed if we all just disappear." Silas explained, glaring at the rest of the espers around. "Stupid stuff, to be honest." Silas hissed, keeping his hands in his pockets. They were still somewhat covered in dried deer blood, and with the cops around investigating a murder out of everything it wasn't a smart idea. He'd surely be blamed and being a beast lowered his chances of being believed it was a deer.

He'd surely be blamed and being a beast lowered his chances of being believed it was a deer. Finally Allen made it to the city outskirts when a shot caught his attention. He was late but something was going on. He went up to the closest person (Silas in this case) and asked: "Excuse me mister." He saw it was a beast and the sight was not very comforting but curiosity got the better of him. "Did they find the murderer yet?" He said leisurely and with a surprisingly innocent expression. He was hoping to get a rough idea of what took place here prior to his arrival. The gunshot was more than enough to startle him and the crowd wasn't giving off a good vibe. More over there were both espers and beasts here. If this kept up the two would probably try to kill each other.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted February 22, 2015 Silas paused and turned to see someone else. Another young man, asking about the murder and if they had caught the culprit. "No, sadly. There's been countless murders and not a single suspect, well, scratch that, multiple suspects, but not the killer apparently, since the murders keep happening." Silas explained as he shook his head, letting his hood fall off in hopes that he wouldn't look as intimidating. As long as he didn't showed his hands, he should be fine...he hoped. "The police have manage to keep the two sides from killing each other but I don't think it's going to last very long unless there's an actual barrier to stop everyone." Silas said as he looked around worryingly. "Not to mention part of the police act on their own personal thoughts, which isn't good for us beasts. Just saying. It's happened before." "So you two are planing of joining in or something?" He asked seeing as tho they both had some sort of idea here. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a mini camera. As habit made it impossible for him not to have it with him pictures began to be snapped pretty quickly. "The guys in the orphanage wont believe this. Maybe i could use it to scare them off or something." He said out loud unknowingly as time had allowed him to think out loud pretty often. Next thing he knew the memory was full and he pocketed the camera as if nothing happened.

C-Can't have these murders and disappearances happening everyday. I-I dunno about Wolf-Boy over here, though. I only just met him yeserday!", Joel chucked while giving Silas a friendly grin and shrugging, trying to relive any possible tension that was still present in the area. "Hmm. E-Even though they say that great minds think alike, were you thinking of the same thing or something, Silas? Or, of something else?", Joel asked. Joel then glaced at Allen, who was snapping pictures and mumbling out something. He mentally heightened the sounds coming from the kid with his sonokinetic abilities. "Hm? What was that about the orphanage?...", he asked, raising an eyebrow. Edited February 24, 2015 by Hargleblargleboo

He thought to himself and smiled a bit from the situation. Then came the question : Hm? What was that about the orphanage?... Allen was startled a little by Joel's comment and didn't answer at first. "Oh that ... I just live in one." He wanted to say as calmly as possible but the frown on his face was apparent. Joel seemed to be pretty sharp so naturally acting like it was nothing was good. From there he just observed what the police had going on. "Yeah everything's good," Vincent replied to Lilith. A breeze blew past the two as Vincent stared at the girl. The thought of a fight made him shake and twitch in fear as he took a step back.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted February 24, 2015 Silas nodded at Joel. “I was actually thinking of something similar…to scout the city at night and try to spot any suspicious activity-“Silas paused, freezing in place at the shouting of the police officer known as Vincent. To take out his hands out of his pockets? Lower down his hood? “(Sh*t)” Silas thought. He cursed himself internally for not heading straight home for a shower, and getting distracted by the scene. He cursed for letting himself be led on by the urges and actually hunt down a deer. He could possibly go with the line, you don’t have a warrant or reason, but then it would just cause trouble. He could make a run for it, but it’d just give them more reason to suspect. He wasn’t guilty of this crime. He knew such. No reason to hide. Yet seeing the other boy back away from him made his heart sink. He didn't want to be labeled as the killer when he wasn't. He couldn’t help but to chuckle, getting his hands out of his pockets and raising them in the air, not minding to remove his hood. They were plastered with dried up blood with lick and saliva marks as Silas had licked part of it as part of the treat. It was deer blood, but all blood looked and smelled the same. “It’s from the deer I hunted last night.” Silas said, smiling calmly. He knew he was innocent. The only thing he had to worry about was someone planting evidence, or his urges and temper getting out of control.
