Oblivion 22 162 Posted July 29, 2015 Who knows what Q'l do when we complete the trials, might go all tyranical and try to get rid of us, and the Doktor will put a "block" in her ability to delete us or something. I don't trust Q one bit, then again Maxwell doesn't trust the Doktor nor her either.Nathan trusts no one, not even his loyal minion Asher (Sorry Neko.) and that's pretty much how he's always lived. Then again, that doesn't really matter right now because instead of Nathan, Vladimir is in control of the body.Anyway, it just went 5 AM and now I'm pretty tired. I'm gonna get some sleep so I can debate useless stuff some more later. Good night everyone.
Wolf on the Run 391 Posted July 29, 2015 Slight misconception. I wouldn't be using my gravity on the sword, if just be using it on the character to the point that holding the sword would be impossible. A few other things that would be impossible at that point would also include standing and normal breathing.Anyway, you're right that Maxwell is the only one who can properly shut down end game Nathan. The only reason he was beaten by Tristan was because his powers reached their limit and it ended in a slug-fest.Also, there's no way I'm giving up the role of the main villain from user side of the Rp to Shao Khan. Not to be funny, but he actually doesn't stand a chance. Cough* Tristan was injuried before the fight was even started Nathan hasn't taken Tristan on when he's at his best yet cough*
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted July 29, 2015 That's fair and good, but Nathan's strength doesn't come from manipulating matter. Gravity is a force and a force should remain out of your characters control completely. So basically, Nathan can crush her into dust using nothing more than control over gravity from at most 50ft away.I assume your control over gravity isn't strong enough to do something like that since Tristan was able to basically straight ignore a desperation attack from you. That time i had Tristan use a one off elemental add on that aloud him to ignore Nathan's gravity powers for a short time but I restricted it that that one time from here on out if Tristan has to deal with Nathan's gravity i'll be having him use a force equal the force Nathan is causing to have them cancel each other out i'll admit gravity is a powerful force but when its meet by a force equal to or stronger then itself it can be dealt with if that concept couldn't be used we wouldn't be able to move around freely like we do every day would we

In any case, should Nathan attempt the straight up gravity crush move again, I suppose I could do something... drastic. In any case, I will concede that Alysa v. Nathan would be a poor battle, at least for me. But the other powerfuls, Tristan Shao Khan Yuki and Maxwell can be more easily taken out Assuming me and Aro can actually move through the story at a decent pace. Oblivion 22 162 Posted July 29, 2015 I just wanted to say something here and ask a few of you on your opinion. You see, all of you guys are playing the good guys (mostly) and I'm seemingly playing the bad guy in the story (or at least the mentally deranged one). Currently, I understand that we're all developing our abilities at an even pace, but here's where the dilemma comes in. By the end of the story, if I'm still the villain, then I'll most likely have to fight quite a few of you all at the same time. Now to do that effectively, I'm going to need my character to become a hell of a lot stronger than what he is now. But then again, a few of you seem to treat Nathan as if he's just some power hungry brat instead of an actual threat and honestly, it's kind of insulting, just saying. If he does something actually evil, then he'd be a villain. But for now, he just goes around looking for power. A villain needs to be villainous.

Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted July 29, 2015 IF you can make him seem more like a villain, good. and for the record Maxwell is no good guy, at all, he is purely neutral, he is just stuck there, and just wants to get out, he doesn't care about whats happening in the city Sounds like a challenge Agreed
kingdomhearts45 469 Posted July 29, 2015 Okay, okay. I must say it would be fun Let's not get ahead of ourselves. So if, and that is a BIG IF, we have to fight you who may be the villain and can control gravity, doesn't that mean some characters like Yuki would have to step out of the fight because of the weaknesses? Personally, I definitely don't want to be on the sidelines of the final battle.

But remember, in order to make it cooler, everyone fighting him has to take a few more hits, make a few more mistakes, and collectively, we have to let him beat us up a little bit. MDS put it the best way, don't think of it as actually fighting each other, think of it as us collectively telling the story of a fight. 1 kingdomhearts45 reacted to this
Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted July 29, 2015 The fact that MDS was online not too long ago is really teasing.... DX Still, in any case, this is some good discussion, I must say.

If you think that some of the characters are viewing your character wrongly, look instead at how you are RPing the character, and change it to better reflect how you want the other characters to view yours without deviating from what you posted in the character creation sheet...
