Have you ever gotten a console/handheld mainly to play a KH game?

I never buy any console for just one game, but KH has been a deciding factor in getting a PS3 (I used to think it was a sure thing KH3 would be released before the PS4- but then the HD ReMixes came out, so it worked out anyway) and a 3DS (for both DDD and Re:Coded, as my DS had already crapped out).

PSP for BBS. I got a few other games for it eventually so I didn't feel like it was a waste. My parents got it for me anyway. They weren't too happy about it though... haha

 

Technically PS3 as well because I wanted one the moment 1.5 was announced and got it a few months later for Christmas. But I have 55 games for it now so it's not like that was the only thing I got for it.

Every year but last for about 6 years I got a machine only for a KH game for my birthday: I highly regret the PSP and PS2, but otherwise, no regrets.

Yeah, I got a PSP for Birth By Sleep. Funnily enough, I got Birth By Sleep before I got a PSP because I preordered it and didn't get a PSP until Christmas that same year. So I had Birth By Sleep sitting on my shelf collecting dust for 3 months before getting the console needed to play it. I plan to not do that when KH3 comes out. I will have a PS4 when it comes out either on the day or beforehand, although I plan for the day of...am I talking to much?

I got a psp with birthday money I didn't spend with BBS, I bought a used 3ds a few months before DDD came out, and I got a PS3 (years before the HD remixes) cause I thought a KH game was bound to come out on it.  I regret nothing, cause I've never bought a console or handheld solely for a KH game, KH has merely been the catalyst that prompted me to get it.  I would never waste money on one if KH is the only game I think I want on it, that's a waste.

I got my NDS lite mainly for 358/2 Days but also for Pokemon which my friends were playing day and night. Now I have to choose between New 3DS XL and PS4, which one will I get after my summerjob? 3DS for DDD, Smash Bros, Pokemon and Monster Hunter or PS4 for KH3, Bloodborne and FFXIV

I got a PSP just to play KHBBS. But I lost it.
