I think Ven is connected to Sora, and since Xigbar [as Braig] has met Ven before, Xigbar saw Xion as Ven. From what I heard, Xemnas saw Xion as Ven also. Since Xion is based on Sora's memories, that would mean that Ven is part of Sora's memories. Could Ven be part of Sora's ''forgotten memories''? Xemnas also was looking for the Room of Awakening in 358/2 Days. There appears to be a lot of connections to Birth by Sleep in 358/2 Days. I can't wait to play 358/2 Days to find out myself.

Oh, and waiting for Birth by Sleep SUCKS.

i knew Xigbar was someone important when I read his profile in Kingdom Hearts 2

There says something like "his real intentions are unknown"

Playing 358/2Days you notice that he always test Roxas, and say weird stuffs to him

And that scene where he see Ven in Xion's face just prove that he have something to do with him

my theory is that ven is erased and sora touches his heart and poof vens heart is inside him.then when xemnas(i have another theory on who he really is) makes his sora clone(xion)they see her a ventus.

Well they saw Xion as who they were connected to. Roxas saw her as partly Kasri sinc ehe has Sora's memories and Xibar saw her as Ven because he meets Ven in BBS.

Xion's appearance changes by the viewers connection to Sora and Master Xehanort and Braig were working together in BBS and he met Ven so he sees her as Ven, Saix sees her as a puppet, Roxas and Axel see her as someone who looks at lot like Kairi/Namine until the end of the game

originally, vens dark-side is ripped out of him and he is on the verge of disappearing. then sora is born and his heart connects with ven. later ven fights his dark-side, and wins but for some reason, his heart is torn from his body and his body goes into a coma. his heart drifts and since he already had sort of met sora, his heart went to sora again and sora took his heart in. thats how they are related. vens body is castle oblivion and his heart is in sora.

Well,from what I know

 

Xigbar,or Briag in KH:BBS,fought with Ven and lost,and that memory of him was revived when he was battleling against another keyblade wielder,AKA,Xion.
