Ghost 1,857 Posted February 9, 2015 Okay it has been a LONG ass time since I've drawn. For almost a year now I've tried sitting down with a sketchbook, but...nothing. Just nothing, at all. I was really sad because I love drawing but lately I'd had no ideas, or the ideas I DID have...well, I was unable to do them. Okay so I've never been good at drawing. Never spectacular, never amazing. But I was good *enough* so that I was satisfied! I adore critique (so long as you're not telling me it's shit, I am shit, and that I need to die or something) I'm real bad at drawing digitally but I think if I just try harder and look up some good guides I'll have a chance, maybe. I just want to be able to draw for myself and my friends especially the ones who have OCs - who doesn't love fanart of their own characters??? Well anyways, here's something that I just finished up: I took some inspirations from the ghost neopets, my first dark souls character (firetrucked up so hard), and something off of gaia online Ignore the outfit because I pretty much just threw it together so I wouldn't seem as lazy as I really was; the main focus was the skin/face/etc. If you can offer some honest constructive criticism I would be more than happy! Same with if you can link me to any good guides, videos, tutorials, etc. - I'd really appreciate it. I want to get better, and learn techniques, especially for colouring - I was never, ever, ever a good colour-er. Ooh, and lineart. I can ink just fine with a pen and paper but digitally...I'm just lost! Javelin434 3,164 Posted February 9, 2015 I really can't say much with criticism. The only thing I can seemingly criticize would be the relatively flat shading effects.
