Soul Eater Evans 4,045 Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Yamaku High School is a school for disabled children, located somewhere in modern Japan. While it primarily caters for students with various disabilities, it is stated that anyone can join. The school does not however, accept mentally disabled students. Despite having a 'grand' exterior, classrooms and other areas appear quite plain and simple, with basic wooden desks, old windows and classic blackboards. After a tragic event sends two uneventful lives to the school, will they learn to cope with their disabilities, and find hope in the future? There's not really any rules needed for this RP that have to be stated due to the simple nature. We can share NPCs like teachers, of course. We'll just have discussions in the pm. I guess we'll sort out the backstory as we go along with the RP. Name: Age: Gender: Appearance: Name: Arima Kousei Age: 16 Gender: Male Appearance: You can start the RP once you finish your sheet. Arya Stark 1,337 Posted February 4, 2015 Name: Takako Saori Age: 16 Gender: Female Appearance: http://www.hdwallpapersos.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Anime-Girl-with-Cat-and-Fairy-HD-Wallpaper-.jpg Takako strode down the hallway as quickly as she could. According to her watch, she should begin to panic immediately. Class was about to start. And she still had about 2 hallways to go. She yawned. And she hadn't had breakfast. First day was not going well. (Sorry, not really in the mood today, or I'd have posted more)
Soul Eater Evans 4,045 Posted February 5, 2015 (It's cool. We don't always feel the aster. I'm on my phone atm so I'm lackluster too.) Arima walked through the front gate, unenthusiastic about Yamaku. A school for the disabled was practically an insult to him. I'm not...... I'm not like them, he muttered to himself. Pulling open the front doors, the musty smell of old books and chalk drowned his senses. "So I should report to the nurse, I guess." Immediately lost in the layout, a young girl dashed by him frantically.
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted February 7, 2015 Takako glanced behind her and smiled broadly, calling out a loud sorry to the boy she had just almost ran over. Of course, as she did so, her back immediately ran right into a wall. She grunted with pain as she collapsed to the ground. Ouch. That had actually hurt a lot. Her books were of course now scattered all over the ground. She sighed loudly. Really. Her first day was definitely not going well at all. She didn't even want to be here! Stupid accident taking her out...
Soul Eater Evans 4,045 Posted February 7, 2015 (edited) "Hey, are you ok-" Arima was interrupted by a hand patting his shoulder. Turning around, he found a tall man, wearing a grey long coat with grey jeans. With slightly greying hair, he was quite a site to behold for Arima. Just like mashed potatoes. The man clumsily extended his hand. "You must be the new transfer. Ah...re ma.... Kosei? My name is Akio Mutou! I'm a teacher in Yamaku high, a highschool for disabled children." The teen cringed at the word disabled, surprised at the man's bluntness. It's not like you would care, you're just here for the money. "Ones in need of special treatment and care. Every day I take a train from a neighboring town then I make my way up a hill, where the school, my working place, is located. I've been a science teacher here for 6 years now." Walking through the hallways elicited a sighed from the student, grey hallways leading the way him to a room with a sign which read Class 3-3. Matou plopped Arima face first towards the class, quite enthusiastically. "Oh, do you want to introduce yourself to the class or should I?" Facing the crowd of bored students, he scoffed. My world is monotone, just like a piano sheet. Black hair, white hair. Girl flipping her grey pen. Even the young lady from earlier, panting at her desk. Take away my eyesight, and there's nothing left of me. It didn't matter to him. Standing half-heartedly, he greeted them. "Hello. My name is Arima Kousei." Just an ugly resonance. "I have monochromatic vision, if anyone wanted to know." Edited February 7, 2015 by Soul Eater Evans
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted February 7, 2015 Takako smiled and waved at Arima, despite still panting quite a bit. Monochromatic vision? So.... He was color blind? Alright then. At least that wasn't too detrimental. "Excellent Arima Kousei. Please take a seat so we can get started with the class." Mr. Mutou stated, gesturing towards an empty seat. Realizing how close the new student was, Takako quickly began scrawling a note in her barely legible handwriting. It read, "Name's Takako. Sorry again for the hallway." She folded up the small sheet of paper, and began passing it back to the new student.
Soul Eater Evans 4,045 Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) Arima sat on the chair, blocking out his surroundings. Staring at the board, Mutou began his lesson. "Alright, how many of you have heard of Biochemical signal-transduction? No one, I assume! If we start with simple elements, however....." As he continued, a piece of paper landed on Arima's desk. Name's Takako. Sorry again for the hallway. After deciphering the penmanship, he took a glance at Takako before scribbling back in reply, Least I don't have Arrhythmia. That would have been deadly. Passing it back, the teen noticed how Mutou was staring straight at them, yet was silent through the ordeal. Weird, teacher didn't even scold us. Must be some kind of rule here in this school. Taking another glance at his classmate, he studied her. Being unable to tell her hair color, she was quite cute going from the facial features. Ripping out a piece of paper, he tossed another sheet. I bet you get a lot of att Are you popul You're c Let's have lunch after class. It's almost 12, that's the time in the schedule. Arya Stark 1,337 Posted February 13, 2015 Takako smiled when she read the paper, the scratched out words bringing a large smile to her lips. She glanced up to the teacher, and what was written on the board. Takako scrawled down a few quick notes. She did still need to keep up with her classwork, though playful flirtation certainly took the forefront of her mind. She wrote down another note, and tossed it back. "Aren't you bold? Maybe I already have friends." She tossed it back when the teacher's back was turned, and immediately began to pretend to focus on the lesson again.
Soul Eater Evans 4,045 Posted February 16, 2015 Arima stared sadly at the note. Of course she's popular. She wouldn't waste her lunch with me. Quickly shaking off his negativism, he scribbled back in his sloppy cursive, I'll make it up to you. Do you lik The teen dropped his head to his desk, considering the possibility that she was deaf. Wait, of course not. Or... what? Ugh.... Rewriting his sentence, he instead wrote, Do we have a music room? We can both eat in the room, and you can watch me play the piano. Turning his eyes back on Mutou, he took a few notes on atomic theory, before being chosen to pass worksheets around the class. Taking the opportunity, he passed the note discreetly, his heart beating fast from such delinquency. Its been a while since I felt like this.
