I loved playing as Ventus. When you activate Wingblade, you KNOW you're going to kick ass.

 

I voted Aqua, but I liked Ventus too. His was worse for me because he was so naive, looking at everything in a happy light, then it all came crashing down.

 

Honestly, I think Ventus being such an optimist even as his world was falling apart was a stroke of genius on the writers' parts. His personality perfectly contrasted his other, Vanitas, and set up for an even more dramatic fall towards the end than Terra and Aqua's. Those two were kind of anticipating it; Ventus didn't want to believe his life was decaying and only prepared for it when he had to.

I know, that's why I hated Ventus' story: it was very depressing. But I liked the character, and his attacks. Just not his story arc.

I agree, it was depressing. But that's what's going to make Kingdom Hearts III so great: He, Terra, and Aqua are finally going to get their happy ending.

hmm.. from experience i like all of them , the original root of sora and his friends.mainly because the shape of their keyblade had varied betwwen long,medium, and shortest keyblade.and i love their armor..kinda makes you think you are a robot type with giant sword in your hand..also i like their keyblade gliding. for other reason already mentioned by the other here.if keyblade  gliding were real , i`m gonna used it everyday .. :cool:

I enjoyed playing as Terra, especially in the battles against No Heart and Mysterious Figure...

Are you serious? Couldn'T do it. Terra's dodge and block abilities are too slow.

 

But it's way better in 2.5, I haven't reached those bosses yet but on the PSP I couldn'T do it.

I'm genuinely surprised Ven isn't more popular...
