Data Battle tips

Hey guys I am trying to fnish up the data battles but there are just a few I can't seem to beat, any tips would be appreciated, thanks! I need help with Vexen, Luxord Zexion,Xaldin and Xemnas.

For Xaldin, try equipping Guardian Soul and all your Reaction Boosts, and then use a lot of Jump. You can do way more damage than you might think at first.

For Xaldin I basically just entered Final Form and flew around because you can actually dodge his stuff that way. Aside from that, spam triangle.

 

For Zexion, use Donald's Comet Limit, every time you get sucked into the book. You don't really do damage with it, it's just helpful with avoiding certain attacks and figuring out which book he's in so you can lock on to it.

 

Luxord is really easy, it's just the game he pulls you into at the end. The "pause buffering" method is your best bet; pause every time you're trying to select an O and if it's on X when you pause, unpause and hit it. Also, if you lose the game once, you can actually afford to try it one more time because if you don't move, Luxord just jumps over you repeatedly.

 

For Xemnas... learn his attacks =P. It sounds silly, but although he moves fast, his attacks are very distinct, and easy enough to remember the solution to avoiding/blocking them. I found equipping Quick Run instead of Dodge Roll also worked better, at least for Final Xemnas.

 

And Vexen... yeah good luck. He can be cheesed with Final Form/Firaga, but it's a pain to pull off right, and his desperation move can be a bitch (although Final Form makes it easier to dodge/Reflect). Basically just ignore antiSora, and never ever leave the ground because people die in the air.

Vexen - In the beginning of the battle, try using Comet so you can destroy that firetrucking shield without getting vulnerable. Than, Final Form and spam firaga until he DM's. That's mainly what to do.

 

Luxord - Use and abuse: "A CHALLENGE... DO YOU KNOW THE RULES?" and use a lot of reflega. It'll be useful. During the last minigame, use pause to hel you see what to press. If there is an "X" while you've paused the game, press X fast so you will receive the "O" in the command box.

 

Zexion - If you have 9 Drive Bars, it'll be easier: Use Final Form in the beginning of the fight and use firaga. If you have a 4 hit combo, for example, use 3 firagas and than stop, wait for Zexion to fall and repeat. Use ethers if necessary.

 

Xaldin - Parry most of his attacks, use Guardian Soul to get Reaction command. Parrying his attacks will give you the "Jump" reaction command. Spam it, it should do it. If things get serious, use Comet so you'll be immune to him until the limit is going.

 

Xemnas - As for this btich... in the first battle use guard everytime you can, or reflega. When he try to use his DM, use trinity fast (trinity will make him finish the DM). To finish the battle quick, when Xemnas put you inside that weird globe (that requires you to go to the building and use de R.C), use the THIRD reaction command. Will make Xemnas go 1 HP, so you can beat him without problems.

For the second battle, I strong recommend you using "Session" when Xemnas throws you. For the rest of the batte: guard, reflect and Limit Form if things get ugly.

If you are having trouble with Zexion's DM here is a trick: the blue and red marks will change exactly 13 times before the meteors fall. So after 12 you can pause and ready yourself for the thirteenth one.

 

Luxord DM: pause for the last command to switch. If you pause while its an X then after you un pause it will be a O

 

Vexen: all I can say is spam reflect and firaga+final form
