You must have never played a Sony console before. You're implying that me treating my consoles other than right has to do with its horribly made hardware and terrribly written software, correct? Well I've been using a GameBoy AC adapter for 15 years while my PSP has encountered four in its life time, each of which broke in a matter of 10 months to a year. When I l attempt to sign into PSN it fails from time to time and tells me a hundred incorrect errors such as DHCP and DNS despite the fact that my PS4 can connect to PSN without a problem. Only PlayStation 3 games like Black Ops 2 and another have memory leaks, I don't know why this problem is more common with PlayStation games than with Nintendo games. Hargleblargleboo 979 Posted January 30, 2015 When I was a kid, I had a PS1, and the worst experience is when you put in a game, the console boots up, it stays on the boot up screen, and it doesn't transition to the PS1 logo. Then I panic because the disk probably won't ever read again. We took care of our console, but one little scratch was enough to mess it up a game for a good while. Cept for when I had a 360 and it scratched the firetruckout of my disc because i tilted the thing. Heeey I used to use that trick for my fat ps2 all the time, then after a couple years, that stopped working and I got a skinny. I haven't had problems since. HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted January 30, 2015 Bad ports, I guess. The Ezio Trilogy I got for my PS3 was so glitchy it didn't work half the time. Plus, long load times in general, not just for games, but for dashboard menus too (why the firetruck does it have to take me two whole minutes just to look at my own trophies?!) Though I don't know what other people are talking about with badly made consoles, I still have my old fat PS2 from 2002 that still works like a dream, and I've never had any hardware problems with the PS3, only software. BlankShell 638 Posted January 30, 2015 My old PSP-1000 is mostly bricked because of some custom firmware installed... only I never installed it =P. I think it might have had to do with this accessory I was using (some grips with inbuilt speakers and a battery extender... sounds cool until you realize I got it for like two bucks from a Fry's sale, so this is probably why), but it's always been the tech thing that nagged at me. Aside from that, not a thing, which is why I keep buying their products. And I remember something happening to my first PS2, but I don't recall the details. Overall not too bad, I have friends with 360's that died about every 2 weeks. DragonMaster 1,166 Posted January 31, 2015 (edited) Well, we have a PSOne (Slim version, or whatever the smallest one was called) that has the spring-loaded disc tray which doesn't close properly (requires a piece of tape to keep shut), but that's more than likely due to us being dumb kids when we got it, and the fact we got it second hand from our uncles who don't really take care of their game consoles. I will say that I find Dualshock controllers to be pretty horrible (the Dualshock 4 is pretty decent, though), and I can never find a entirely comfortable way to hold it. Oh, and the newer variation of the Vita feels terribly fragile, to the point where I hate holding it because I feel like I could just break it in half or snap off an analog nub...
