Text My Kingdom Hearts Story: Two Universes Collide

Recommended Posts

Oh wow, Adrian was this close to being controlled completely by the darkness!  Thank goodness he was able to resist, though!  And I really loved how you handled Mickey's character in this chapter: wise and kind, as he is in the games! :D  Wow, this is just amazing!  I can't wait for more! :D

Chapter 23: A Familiar Foe

The four of us walked to the shop where Cid, Leon, Aaerith, Yuffie, and Tifa. Sora was talking to them already. When we entered, he turned around and smiled at us. Then, he went on to introduce us.

"Everyone, this is Ventus, Terra, and Aqua," he said. "They are the three people I saved."

"Call me Ven," Ventus said cheerfully putting his hands behind his head.

"It's nice to meet you all," Aqua said. Terra nodded and then they all started socializing with them. I in the meantime kept quiet and watched everyone have a good time. However, Leon noticed me and had a look of curiosity on him. I caught his gaze and looked back.

"Hey, who's this kid?" he asked everyone "I've never seen him around here before."

"Oh, that's Ben," Sora replied. "He's the one whom I met in Walt Disney World."

"So you're Ben," Aerith said "we've heard a lot about you from Sora. He spoke highly of you."

"You look like a formidable young lad," Cid complemented. "Much more formidable than Sora over there."

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" Sora demanded and we all laughed. However, Leon only smirked, but kept his curious gaze on me. I looked back with determination and defiance.

"He is right though, you do look like a formidable person," he said. This made everyone quiet. "What I want to know is, are you what Sora says you are?" No one spoke for a little bit, but then Sora came to my defense.

"Actually Leon," he said "he really is strong and powerful. In fact, he is the descendent of an ancient keyblade master." This made Leon even more curious. Sora's expression showed one as if to say "I should not have said that".

"It's alright Sora," I assured him without looking at him. I sensed his remorse for his latest statement about me.

"Yes, my ancestor was a keyblade master from ancient times," I addressed Leon. "He was powerful and had that power passed down until he returned again as a descendent. In fact, you are looking at him right now. I am the ancestor.' Leon became more curious now.

"That's fascinating," he said. "I would like to see for myself if you are as powerful as you say you are. I challenge you to a battle because I want to see what you are capable of. What do you say?" He smiled at the proposal.

"Oh Leon, why can't you take people's word?" Yuffie asked annoyed. "Why can't you just accept what people say and move on?"

"Oh really?" I say like Ryuga while grinning like him. "Okay fine then. I'll accept your challenge, but I'm afraid you'll regret it later." Yuffie rolled her eyes and the two of us went into the street. Everyone else followed and went on the sidelines to witness. Leon took out his sword and took stance and I summon Ultimate Apocalypse and follow suit. Then we pause for a second and charge at each other and fight. He was not too bad at first, but as the battle progressed, he became harder as he slowly, but noticeably ramped up pressure on me. I do the same to hold my ground. Triple spells are useful to put him on the run and make him move around along with strike raids, but he only dodged them and came back at me. To keep from going back to the same old as before, I fire Mega Flare at him and it explodes on impact. Leon had his sword in front of him defending against it and trying to minimalize damage. He charges up energy and a light tan aura surrounds him. He charges at me and starts delivering harder strikes. I ramp it up as well to keep up with his pace. He pushes me back with one strike that sends me back about five yards. I land on my feet and just as he is about to charge again, I perform Lightbloom on him. The orbs pound him over and over send him back. After I fire the last orbs, those deliver the final blow and Leon is sent further back and falls on his back onto the ground. It seems he lost grip of his sword because I saw it behind him above his head. As he is getting up slowly and in pain, I remain in my fighting stance.

"Had enough or do you need a refill?" I taunt. He slowly gets up in pain, but he managed to speak. His voice did reflect the pain.

"You're perfect for the job," he said. "You're hired." I unsummon my keyblade and everyone from the sidelines gather around me and expressed amazement and awe. I took pride in it especially coming from Ventus, Terra, and Aqua. After many years of them falling to fate and waiting so long for them to be saved, I valued them even more on top of them making the first sacrifice. Their guidance and opinions are gospel to me. It would be shameful if I were to let them down and abandon them. They would not abandon me though even when I fall and they believe I can stand up again. It was heart warming to know that.

Yuffie went over to Leon after complementing me an helped him up along with letting him have it for challenging me.

"Why can't you just take people's word?" she asked exasperated. "You're going to kill yourself one of these days all because you want to see actions to satisfy your pride. First it was Sora, now it's Ben."

"I know what I am doing to myself," he said. "We can't have anyone who fights the darkness with us be a push over or a weakling. It would look bad and we can't afford to lose anyone." Yuffie rolled her eyes and they both came back to the crowd and I.

"I gotta say, you meant what you said before," he complemented. "Nice job." He smiled and held out his hand to be shaken. I shake it and smile back.

"Thanks, you too," I reply. "Hey you five, I have something to ask all of you." They show expressions of not only joy, but also of attentive ears. "Where is Sephiroth?" Their faces immediately showed concern, some worry, and uncertainty.

"I ask because I have a bone to pick with him," I explain. They look at each other as if to dare someone to answer first. Tifa was the first to answer.

"He's probably where he usually is," she replied. I knew where he was: the Dark Depths. I thank her and head on my way there. When I reach there, Sephiroth, like in KH2, is looking out to the distance. I walk behind him and stand behind him. He knows I'm there, I know he knows my presence, but he does not turn around,

"Where has Cloud been?" he asked.

  "Who knows?" I reply.

"Hmph," he pauses. "By the way... you there... who are you?" Then, he swings his sword around and points it at me like in KH2. I react like Sora and hop back and summon my key and take stance.

"That is something you don't need to know," I reply. He observes my keyblade with curiosity.

"Well... that's an interesting keyblade your carrying," he said.

"So, it seems you know of the keyblade thanks to Donald," I said. "You know, someone like you should not know what this is."

"Is that right?" he asked "I suppose you are opposed to the darkness."

"I live by a rule," I replied. "This rule was used by Organization 13. All traitors must be eliminated. In my case, all traitors of the light must be eliminated. You are a traitor to the light. You know what that means, do you not?"

"Well, in any case," he said "I wonder if it will change its mind once I defeat you." Then he took stance and we got ready to fight. I felt everyone from the shop show up to witness what I am doing. Then, Sephiroth and I charge toward each other and fight. He is as hard as I expected him to be. It was very hard to impossible to get in close to him because of his sword length and so he kept me back.

"Alright wise guy," I said "is that how you want to play? Fine then, I'll play that way." I then charge up energy and use Blade Charge. The range now doubled for me and made it easier to get closer. He used the spells I saw in KH2 against me, so barrier and counter blast were very helpful and effective in beating him back. After doing that multiple times, Sephiroth lunges at me to deliver a final blow and I perform Galaxia Darkness. He got caught in it and the environment went black. After I strike like lightning, the environment lights up and he is sent flying high. He lands on his feet panting some while bent over. Then, he stands up straight and brushes himself off.

  "Hmph, too easy," I tout.

"I admit, you have advanced skills," he admitted "but Cloud is the one who can eliminate me." He then turns around to look in the distance.

'Tell Cloud to get over here," he demanded. "Tell him Sephiroth wants to finish things." I sensed behind me and my friends that Cloud was in the shadows of the entrance to the Dark Depths. He knows I sense him and I know what he knows. I chuckle and then my laughter grows and becomes to Ryuga's level. sephiroth turned around to face me to see why I am laughing. Then, Cloud as he is coming toward us speaks up.

"Sorry if I am too early, Sephiroth!" he shouted like in KH2. I stop laughing and move off to the side. Sephiroth faces Cloud and the two square off.

"Cloud... you'll always be a pawn of the darkness," he said.

"Shut up," Cloud responded taking out his broad sword and taking stance. Sephiroth follows suit with his long sword.

"You'll never change who you are," he said.

"Shut up!" Cloud demanded and then he charged after Sephiroth. The two fought like the previous time in KH2 except it was longer this time. They eventually end up in a stalemate like before.

"Pathetic," Sephiroth says "the is no point in defeating me. You know that best, do you not? As long as you remain darkness's pawn, it will always sustain my life." Cloud now appeared to be struggling.

"NO!" someone screamed. I looked at Tifa to see if it was her, but she did not and was looking past me. I look to my other side and see it was Aqua who screamed.

"Aqua! I got this!" Cloud shouted to her.

"No you don't! You have to follow you own path first!" Aqua shouted back. Sephiroth pushed him back and Cloud got ready again. Aqua steps forward toward Sephiroth.

"He can't. He is a pawn of the darkness. There is no other path," Sephiroth said.

"That's not true. Anyone can create their own path," Aqua said. Then Sephiroth points his sword toward her. She reacts by hopping back and summoning Stormfall.

"We all create our own paths," she continued. "It's the light that brings us toward its brightness and power."

"Is that so?" Sephiroth asked "Let's see how bright this light of yours is." He swings his sword at her and she dodges it. Then, she charges at him and they both go at it. Aqua handled him perfectly and did not misstep once. In fact, she handled him not much different than when she first fought Vanitas. Cloud, however, was having deja vu all over again. A flash of light blinded him like in KH2 and he covered his face.

"No!" he shouted. Meanwhile Sephiroth and Aqua are having at it when-.

"Look out!" Sora, myself and the rest of us shout at Cloud. He jumps over a surprise attack from Sephiroth and lands by Aqua with sword ready facing his foe. I immediately run in front of the two and summon my keyblade.

"Ben? Why are you-?!" he demands, but I cut him off.

"Excuse me ladies," I say "I am not done with this waste yet."

"Still want more do you?" Sephiroth asked "Fine then. I'll give you more." He then jumps up high into the sky and so do I. I begin attacking while backflipping and performing other aerial techniques. We soon clash and push each other to the ground and stare each other down. Aqua then consoles Cloud.

"Cloud, you are not a pawn of the darkness, you can create your own path to light," she told him.

"You are not fit for the light," Sephiroth counters back. I wave my hand and some light energy enters Cloud.

"Here, take true light in," I said. "The true light of a keyblade wielder will lead you."

"I'm not... sure anymore," Cloud says then his body glows for a second.

"Enough of this!" Sephiroth demands and lunges at us. I move to the side to clear the way for Cloud. Like in KH2, he charges up that energy and forces Sephiroth to stop in mid air. Cloud then leaps high as does Sephiroth and the two disappear in a flash of light. Once it clears, Aqua and I unsummon our keyblades and return to the gang.

"Well, I guess it's time for me to go to another world," I say to the restorers. The four lights and I bade farewell to the restorers and they left for the shop.

"Ventus, Terra, Aqua, go to Yen Sid," I order. "He will explain my along with Jack's, Shane's, and Adrian's ancestors. He will also explain their fates, including mine." They were slightly uncomfortable with the suggestion, but they all nodded, bade farewell, and left in for the Lanes Between.

"I guess I better go find Riku and Kairi," Sora said. We both bade farewell and the Gummi Ship with Donald and Goofy driving it arrived. He entered it and departed. I disappeared in a Light corridor and head to another world.

--------------------------------------------------

Saix and Xigbar stand behind Master Xehanort. He is looking out over Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom from the castle stage, but thanks to the low sun, he blends in so no one sees him.

"The kid and his friends are now real trouble," Xigbar said. "They look as though they aren't backing down. Classic."

"Go and test any of the other seven lights to see their strength," Master Xehanort ordered. Xigbar nodded and disappeared into a dark corridor.

"Xehanort, how soon before the X-blade is forged," Saix asked. Master Xehanort smiled and looked to the sky. There are some dark clouds hanging over the park.

"The gather of the seven and thirteen is nigh," he replied.

Well everyone, this is the last chapter before college. I thank you all for such great support. I will try to post more chapters in the future.

Chapter 24: The Heart's Power

I came out of the Light corridor and ended up in an interesting world. I did not know what it was at first and I had to walk around a little. I was at a port and there were people around me had white hair, yet looked young. They wore necklaces and they had crystals that glowed a color similar to Kingdom Hearts. I soon realized that I was in the world of Atlantis. It was supposedly a lost empire, but clearly it rose above and now, it has a sun giving it light and warmth. The people around me did not notice me and I walked from the port to the main town. It was fascinating to see the hustle and bustle of this place. The people spoke Atlantean. What I found interesting is how this language is so similar to what my ancestor spoke thousands of years ago. In fact, I was curious now that I thought about it; if I understood what my ancestor spoke, could I possibly be able to speak it? I tried and what came out of my mouth surprised me some: I spoke the language my ancestor did fluently. I have a rough time trying to hold a conversation in Italian in school, yet I can speak a language never heard before fluently. After that litmus test, I continue to look around. I look up and see the castle where the king and queen resided. Milo become the new king after Kida's father died and Kida became queen. Thanks to watching the two Atlantis movies, I understood what has happened. I find just above the castle, the heart of Atlantis. I have heard repeatedly the heart of the world, but none has ever shown itself. This heart is like what I saw in the first and second movies. I floated high above the kingdom with all its glory. I gazed at it and nodded and continued my walk. I made sure to look around for anything unwelcome here and instead, I find something else. I find someone in the crowd that looks quite familiar. I realize it after a clear patch appears from the heads: Shane! I make my way through the crowd and catch up to him. He notices me and makes his way toward me. We finally meet and embrace each other.

"Shane! Oh my goodness," I say while hugging him "I'm so glad you are safe!"

"I'm glad you're safe too," he replied and then we let go of each other. "Unfortunately, I had a short meeting with fate." He then proceeded to tell me what world he went to and whom he came across and what happened. I listened with full attention and great concern.

"Hmmm... so you came in contact with Young Xehanort, eh?" I said "Not only that, you felt darkness attack you and try to pierce you through. Well, I am glad you just managed to escape." Shane nodded and then we continued walking through the city. Soon, we saw another familiar face: Jack! He was looking around for something; probably us, but he had a concerned and worried expression. when he noticed us, he rushed to us and embraced Shane and myself. He then went to embrace me alone rather quickly and a little tightly. It stunned me a little so I don't hug him back at first.

"Oh Ben," Jack said "I am so glad Nick did not kill you." At the mentioning of that, I hug him back.

"Yes, Nick tried to kill me," I replied. "I did not let him and I won't let him." Jack let go and I explained to Shane that Nick was Jack's dark twin who tried to kill me and had many reasons why. Shane was exasperated and put my head to his bosom out of shock and disbelief and relief over what happened and how I escaped death. I then pull out and explain to them what I encountered and experienced. Their eyes widened when I told them I met Ventus, Terra, and Aqua. They were both amazed at my story and complemented me defeating Sephiroth.

Suddenly, four Atlanteans with their large masks on jump out of nowhere and surround us with spears pointed at us. The three of us summon our keyblades out of instinct and take stances. We look around at all of them and hold off; we don't want to harm anyone that is for us and they are just the guards trying to protect from hostiles. I begin to talk to them in my language to see if they understand it.

"Greetings, we bring peace and no harm to you or anyone," I tell them in the ancient language. They seem to have understood and lowered their weapons, but remained on alert. I guess the language from long ago was the same thing or a dialect of the Atlantean language.

"Who are you and what do you want?!" one guard demanded in the same language I spoke. How can that be? The two are different, yet similar. Wouldn't they have different meanings of words?

"I bring peace and good tidings with my friends here," I reply. Shane and Jack also assured in the same language I spoke. Since we are our ancestors, we can speak the language they spoke long ago. The guards looked and mumbled to each other in Atlantean. I could somewhat tell what they were saying due to the similarities of languages. Then, they motioned me and my friends to follow them and we did so. They escorted us with one guard on each corner making a square around us and they led us through paths and streets. Soon, we walked up stairs and walked through the doors of the castle. We saw Milo and Kida at the throne talking to each other while sitting. They had smiles on their faces as they spoke. Then, they turned to face us and the guards.

"Your majesty,we found a few outsiders wandering about through the city," the front left guard said now in plain english. Milo and Kida stood up and as they did so, the guards took a step to the side. As they walked towards us, I in turn kneel on one knee and salute in a keyblade warrior style (that is, putting one's fist to their heart and nodding). Jack and Shane do the same I do in order to make the impression complete and guilt-free.

"Your majesty, we come in peace and in good tidings," I say to Milo.

"It's okay, you don't need to be so formal," Milo replied putting his hands up to deflect the formality. The three of us stand up after kneeling.

"I'm Milo and this is Kida," he says.

"It's nice to meet you," Kida says.

"I'm Ben, and this is Shane and Jack," I introduce us. my friends nod and Kida's face gets a look of surprise on it as she looked at us.

"I realized something!" she said "You each look like the murals of three of the our legendary atlantean heroes! We called them 'the great masters'." Once she said this, the three of us looked at each other. It seems that the legends of our ancestors have not only been told in our world, they have been brought to the worlds in the Realm of Light. The quesition is, how far have they been taken and to which worlds? What I did not understand with this world is this: In my world, there is a tale of Atlantis and other worlds that are based off of locations of my world. If these places are not in my world or these events have not been recorded in history of earth, how are they here then? Why are they here? They seemed to have happened and Walt Disney knew they happened, so why have these events and worlds been treated as though they were fantasy? I did not understand and so I figured all questions must be reserved for Yen Sid. Actually, Bob Iger might know why too. I wanted to ask Milo and Kida something about the crystal.

"Milo and Kida, show us the crystal, please?" I ask. I wanted to come close to it and see its great power. They looked stunned to hear the request, but Milo acquiesced.

"Sure, you can see it," he said. The king and queen led us through stairs and paths of the castle until we finally came up and out on top of the tallest spire. The crystal was glorious in its power. It was above us as we stood looking up. It had us in awe. The large stone slabs of images of the kings orbited around the crystal in remembrance of the past kings. The crystal is still visible from the streets and the main plaza. We then turn and look at the king and queen.

"We'll be sure to protect the heart of Atlantis," Jack assured the royals. They nodded and we left all left the sanctuary.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Sora, Riku, and Kairi are walking though The Grid trying to eradicate any dark foes or any darkness. All is peaceful so far, but for this short period of time. Suddenly, a dark corridor opens and Xigbar comes out of it in his malicious smile. The three of them summon their keyblades and take stances.

"Looks like the pests have been scattered all over the place," he taunted. "If I were you, I would think about if it's wise to take us on." He then summoned his guns and prepared for battle. Then, three other dark warriors showed up from corridors and took stances.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Jack, Shane, and myself walked through the city of Atlantis looking for any undesirables. Unfortunately, we found a couple dark warriors, but they were not an issue to worry about as they were easy to defeat. All was fine when Kida came running toward us with worry.

"Boys! An intruder is at the sanctuary of the heart of Atlantis!" she shouted "I tried fighting him off myself, but he was too strong. Please come quick!" We follow her at a running pace and make it to the sanctuary. The intruder has his arms raised like Xemnas to Kingdom Hearts in KH2, but he has four other people around him. He turns around and it is none other than Saix. I immediately summon my keyblade as do Shane and Jack.

"The heart of Atlantis," he said. "Do you feel it, the heart's power? It is quite magnificent. Perfect for us to our use."

"There is no way on God's green earth you are taking the crystal for yourselves!" I say.

"I won't hand it over to you! You'd have to kill me and these boys first to get it!" Kida followed.

"What a brilliant idea," Saix replied and he summoned Claymore. The other warriors summoned their keyblades and took stance. The four of us clash with the five dark foes. I take on a couple key bearers and Shane and Jack take on two others. Kida fights Saix directly. She holds her ground and is unyielding. I had to finish it fast before Kida starts failing so I coat my key in ice shards and slash the warrior. He falls in pain and then I swing to his neck and slit it killing him instantly. Then, I move on to Saix with Kida and fight him. He was as hard as I thought. Still, I outskilled him with Ars Arcanum and Solum. He was knocked back, but then rushed us again. Kida and I charged power and gave him a dual blow that really stopped him. He was knocked back again and kneeled down panting. Shane and Jack killed their opponents as Saix was gasping for air. Then, he stood up and disappeared into a dark corridor with a look of frustration on his face. The three of us unsummoned our keyblades and turned to Kida.

"I see the power of the crystal was with you," she said. The three of us nodded. It did feel rather warm within our hearts as we battled beneath the crystal. I think it did give us strength. Suddenly, a light is shining down on us three. It is separate beams for each of us. We turn around and the heart of Atlantis is apparently choosing us for something. It's rewarding us.

Thank you for your patience. College has been a bunch of work and I only am able to be on here to post thoughts and only briefly.

Chapter 25: Earth's Hidden History

The three of us have rays of blue light from the crystal shine down on us and remain on us. It is exactly like in the movie when it chooses a host to bond with. It could not be doing that could it? I mean, we protected it and felt its power. It must be finding favor with us. The three of us gazed at it with blank stares and then our minds go blank. Blue light fills our eyes and we become like mindless puppets. We walk towards it while looking at it. I feel yet I do not feel. My mind is blank and yet I have a consciousness of what is happening. Like zombies, we walk into thin air without anything supporting us. Kind of like Kida when she was under the same condition and was walking on water. Milo and Kida are amazed and apparently, the people far below on the streets are witnessing what is happening and they too are awed at the spectacle. The three of us walk out to under the crystal and we stand around the center point directly below it facing in toward each other. What made this fascinating was we did not possess crystals and are not Atlantean let alone have royal blood. We have blood of ancient masters related to us running in our veins and nothing more than that. A force from the crystal then lifted us up to it and we still were conscious. As we got close, everything went blank and we lost consciousness.

The people of Atlantis below and around watched the crystal act in a way never seen before. Milo is stunned because he knows the stories and knows the crystal bonds with royalty and no one else. Could Ben, Shane, and Jack have royal blood in them? If so, then why did they not have a crystal? Kida was amazed herself to see he crystal choose to bond with others. Ben, Shane, and Jack were facing outward with eyes closed and backs toward the center. The stones of the past kings spun faster and faster around the crystal as it acted. The three boys orbited around the middle while facing outward eyes closed and slightly outstretched arms and hands. The stones spun faster and faster and soon spun so fast, all that was visible were steaks of blue light like in the movie. The crystal glowed brighter making the boys invisible to the public eye. The crystal then shot blue light straight up into the slightly cloudy sky and Kingdom Hearts appeared. Then, it glowed brighter at the same time the crystal glowed brighter. Once the glow receded, the heart moon disappeared behind the clouds and the crystal returned back to normal in its prior state. The stones slowed down and then orbited around in the slow pace like before. The three boys descended floating down from the crystal, but with something different about them. They had what was like the body paint the Atlanteans had on their bodies, but it glowed in the same blue color as the crystal. The boys landed on the platform where Milo and Kida were and their eyes remained closed and remaining still with the glowing marks.

I open my eyes and look around to see what happened. I see Milo and Kida and their faces are stunned and awed as they stared at us. I look at my body and there are markings like the Atlantean body paint were on my clothes and my skin. Letters were on the some of the edges of my clothes. I find my keyblade in hand and it glows on the edges with the same letters in the middle and flat surfaces of the key. I look at my friends and it is the same with them. Only their markings are fashioned differently; same with their keyblades. The markings then fade and disappear into our bodies. We all feel even stronger and more energetic than before and felt we had more power than before. Milo and Kida walked slowly to us in amazement.

"I cannot believe it!" Kida exclaimed. "The crystal only bonds with royalty! That means you are descended from royalty and you are the three Atlantean heroes!"

"I was sure you three were going to end up like Kida when the crystal chose her," Milo said. "The difference was the crystal shot energy into the sky and some large heart shaped moon appeared, glowed for a second with the crystal, then disappeared." The three of us looked at each other with chills going up our spine. Kingdom Hearts must have gave us some power.

"It actually makes me excited to see the crystal act in such a different way!" Milo said excitingly and with a smile. "What I want to know is, who are you three exactly? Are you the three of four heroes?" We reluctantly explained our ancestry and admitted what we are. The guards around heard it all and knelt before us like we were royalty, or should I say are royalty.

"Wow, you did more than answer my question," Milo said exasperated. "Well, since you three are royalty, you should get the treatment."

"Come, I will show you all more of Atlantis as well," Kida said and the three of us followed her.

---------------------------------------------

Xigbar was huffing and puffing for air as Sora, Riku and Kairi were in fighting stances. He chuckled some and then stood up.

"Man, that was exciting," he said. "This will be a good match when we fight the seven of you. I'll see you all around, but do not expect me to play nice next time." He then disappeared into a dark corridor. The three of them unsummoned their keyblades once he disappeared.

"We have to split up now," Riku said. "Things are progressively getting worse now. We'll each go to different worlds and press on from there."

"Right, then we could finish up sooner and find Ven, Terra, and Aqua," Sora said. "I'll take Castle of Dreams. Kairi, you have Neverland. Riku, you take City of Bells."

"See you guys in a few hours," Kairi said and they all went to their respective worlds. Kairi got to hers and everything was calm. She then started exploring for any possible enemies and looked around. Heartless came out a few times, but they were not much trouble. Only the larger heartless gave her a rough time and Blizzard spells did the trick. However, she felt uneasy. She was not alone in this world. She felt a dark presence in the world and felt it was in the Indian Camp. Immediately, she ran to the camp and looked around. So far, nothing popped out, but when she got to the center of the camp, a voice talked to her from behind.

"So, I guess those idiots sent you doll-face here all by yourself," it said. Kairi turns around and there is Vanitas walking towards her... WITH THE CHARM SHE GAVE TO SORA!

"How d'you get that?!" she demanded.

"I think that kid has gotten over his worry of losing you... if you ask my opinion," he said. Then he crushes the charm into small pieces. Kairi felt stunned at the sight. She made that special for Sora to keep her close! Vanitas crushes it and sprinkles the little pieces onto the ground. Kairi' mood turn horrible and she gets ticked.

"Just like..." he summons his keyblade and takes stance "I've gotten over my worry of losing TO you."

"You maniac!" Kairi screams at him and summons Destiny's Embrace and takes stance.

----------------------------------------------------------

It was cool looking around Atlantis seeing the sights and conversing with the people. They were so friendly and hospitable, they did not allow us to lift a finger. We were waited on hand and foot. Any soldiers that passed by stopped and bowed before us. We responded with the keyblade warrior salute and bade them rise. It was a wonderful experience being with the people. All was going well and then, a horde of unversed showed up causing havoc.

"Great. Just what we ordered: a boatload of hell," I said.

"Well, we can't have a perfectly clean world, can we?" Shane responded. "This is not hard anyway." Kida and six guards showed up with weapons and got ready with us to fight the horde. The unversed were on the large side and took some time to defeat. the real annoying one was seeing a large unversed that looked exactly like the guardians that surround Atlantis. For a while, we can't put a dent in it and the three of us are actually getting red in the face some while the Atlanteans are remaining calm. The three of us charge up energy and with the power of the crystal, cloak our keyblades in a blue aura and shell and start attacking with powerful force. The strikes break through such tough skin and we fire energy from our keyblades that strike through and destroy the unversed. Just as we are going to take a break, Saix appears once again.

"It appears you love intruding," he said. "Consider how terrible your ends will be should you continue to intrude. I will keep you from meeting your end." He held his hand up in offer, but the three of us did not budge.

"You don't want to avoid your fates?" he asked. Clearly, he knows of our fates thanks to Master Xehanort.

"Of course we do. We prefer to do so on our own terms!" Jack replied. Saix lowered his hand.

"Hmph, very well," he said. "Then you will learn the hard way." He then disappeared into a corridor. We unsummoned our keyblades after he left.

"Hey guys, I have the need to see Mr. Iger," I said.

"Why now and what for?" Shane asked.

"If some worlds had settings on our own planet and happened in the past of Earth's history, how come they are separate worlds and we never hear of them and when we do, they are spoken of as though they are fiction?" They could not answer and so we went through a light corridor and came out on Earth at the Walt Disney Company headquarters in Anaheim. We walk though the entrance and request at the front desk to meet with Mr. Iger. At first, the front desk woman tells us that Mr. Iger was in a meeting with staff, but then the CEO comes walking from a hall leading to the rest of the offices.

"I'm all done with that meeting anyway," he said to us. "I'm glad to see you boys. Please come this way." We then head to his office and he closes the door and takes a seat at his desk.

"I see that Walt Disney World has been taken care of," he said. "Good, good. I assume progress is going well in the other worlds?" We nod and he nods in return.

"Mr. Iger, you have said the worlds are basically places that exist and Walt knew that and they hold stories of the lives there." I state "How could some places and events that have existed and happened on our planet and yet be recounted as though they were stories and pure fiction?"

"You will be surprised when I tell you this," Mr. Iger replied. "Keyblade warriors long ago came to this earth and wanted events on earth to happen without the stain or influence of the Realm of Light and all that is associated with it. What they did with their powerful magic was they took whole entire events and time frames in certain places along with the people of those, took them off the face of the earth, and made them into worlds. In the process, they erased the memories of that experience and event from certain witnesses and erased any records of those events. The worlds exist, yes, but some are not as old as others. Worlds like Daybreak Town long ago and Twilight Town never existed on Earth, but the events in Notre Dame with Quasimodo were erased from earth's history and now known to everyone, except few, as stories. The warriors then were very picky about what to erase from earth and what to leave. Anything with magic or anything to close to the darkness from where they came from was erased. Atlantis was an island, but events relating to the nation from the ancient times and early 1900's with Milo and the mercenary group under Captain Roark were erased from Earth. Since society today as well as then believes Atlantis is a myth, the warriors left Plato's stories alone. It can be confusing and complicated, but that is the reason why. The tale of your ancestors has been left untouched and has spread to all worlds though. It remains a well kept secret."

All of this information gave me a headache and I could not believe that events were erased from history by the keyblade warriors. I really don't know the history of earth.

"Thank you Mr. Iger," I said. He nodded and the three of us left the office. Outside, it's a bright sunny day and I look into the sky. I see a black cloud all alone floating there. I wonder why it's all alone, but then chills go up my spine. We are running out of time!

Oh wow, that was an intense chapter!  I find it especially interesting that certain events that happened in some locales on Earth were erased from the memories of the people, and events of said locales were transformed into different worlds!  How interesting, indeed!  I'm looking forward to the next chapter! :D

Thank you again for waiting. Here is another chapter.

Chapter 26: An Interesting Ally

After the three of us were blessed by the crystal and given some of its power, as well as some of Kingdom Hearts's power, left the world safer by our deeds, and then afterwards saying farewell to Mr. Iger at the Walt Disney Company headquarters, I split off from Jack and Shane and we plan on meeting up soon possibly at the Mysterious Tower. We went through our own light corridors and left earth. When I came out of mine, I found myself in Paris. I looked around and thought how cool it was to be in France. Then, I noticed how everything looked... medieval. I realized that I ended up in La Cite des Cloches. To be precise, I ended up in Notre Dame. I came out in the street not far from the cathedral. I looked around and begin walking through the streets and head to the church. The streets were quiet and there was not much activity at all. Most of the time, it was me and me alone. It was fine and all and soon I saw a man wearing a robe of purple with black on it. He wore a hat that was purple with black on it. He was walking the other way and did not pay attention to me at all. I did not bother so I looked straight ahead. We passed by each other and did not make eye contact. However, he stopped and looked behind him at me as he noticed my clothes and how unusual they looked as well as myself since I am not from around.

"Wait there young man," he called out to me. I stopped and turned around and he came toward me with a curious yet dark expression.

"Uh, me? How can I help you?" I ask kindly.

"I have never seen you around here before. What's your name?" he asked.

"I'm Ben," I reply. I smile to make the atmosphere brighter, but he kept it negative with his unchanging expression. He looked me up and  down; my hair, my clothes, my shoes, my gloves, every feature did not escape his notice.

"Hmmm... you look like one of them. Tell me, where are the rest?" he asked. I was rather confused. Does he know what I am and know there are more of me?

"I beg your pardon?" I reply.

"You know very well. You gypsies hide everywhere. Now tell me, where are the others?" he demanded in a sharp tone. I believe I heard correctly and he did not say it in French: I'm a gypsy to him. That was enough to get me steamed up a little.

"Excuse me, but I am a Roman Catholic! I am not a gypsy at all!" I snapped back.

"Hmph, I'll be the judge of that," he said. Then two men in what looked like armor came up to me from behind the man and stood side by side with me and grabbed hold of my arms firmly. They were his guards and were arresting me. ME! I did not do anything! I struggled with them to let go of me, but they did not give up.

"Hey! I did not do anything! Where I'm from, we have a Constitution that prohibits false arrest and discrimination. I am not a gypsy nor did I do anything wrong!" I was now getting mad. In the United States, this would be seen as unreasonable and people would protest against what I am enduring now, but I am not in my country nor on earth anymore. I am worlds away from my home and no one knows my condition.

"You gypsies seduce and turn everything to sin. I will eliminate the stain from Paris once and for all. I, Jean Claude Frollo, the son of Judge Claude Frollo, shall finish what my father started from the beginning," he claimed. Just then, a soldier came running up from behind me and was panting.

"Sir, there are monsters in front of Notre Dame!" he cried. I realized this was my opportunity to free myself from arbitrary arrest.

"I can help! The weapon I possess can eliminate them! I can do it!" I pleaded, but Frollo would not yield to my reasoning.

"Go and destroy them yourselves!" he demanded the soldier. Then, he turned to me. "You gypsy are not going anywhere! You will receive justice you deserved a long time ago!" That was the last straw and if it were like a cartoon, you'd see the red of the thermometer (me) rise up to the surface and then explode. They began to lead me away while the other soldier went to gather other soldiers to fight the monsters. Then, my top blew off violently.

"GrrrrrrrRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!! I'VE HAD ENOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUGH!!!!!!!!!" I screamed. A light aura covered me and then it exploded in a huge explosion with the energy going in an upward direction. The force was powerful enough to send the soldiers that held me against the buildings and Frollo managed to turn around in time to see me and braced himself by covering his face. Once the light settled and everything calmed, I panted and then summoned my keyblade while looking at Frollo. He uncovered his face and his eyes were wide open. but he was not only shocked, but also angry.

"I am going to destroy these monsters. I am no gypsy either. I am a Catholic and have always been one." I said assertively. Then I run toward the cathedral to confront the monsters. When I arrive, I see heartless that are stranger in type and saw nightmares. In the midst of all of that, I see Adrian fighting them. He looks to be holding well, but there are so many foes, it's taking him forever. I rush in and begin fighting alongside.

"Need a hand?" I ask while fighting.

"I thought you'd never ask," he replied and the two of us fought the heartless and nightmares. The heartless were stranger than what I have seen before. It's too hard to describe,  but they look like clowns juggling balls. It's a guess, but a very rough guess. It was difficult, but the enemies were defeated. However, a large heatless eventually appeared. It was a a large gargoyle like heartless and it was creating chaos. We took no rest and immediately started fighting it. t was hard for its skin was like stone. It still moved with agility. I used my light spells and Adrian used light attacks. It got to the point where the heartless struck at us with its claw and sent us back a ways. We landed on our feet, but we became sour grapes because of it. We nod to each other and performed Dual Hero's Pride. The difference is, it was longer and stronger and faster. We combined our keyblades together and began teleporting and striking the creature. When it came to the final blow, we rose high into the air, grabbed our dual blade's handle with both of our hands and like a meteor, stabbed right on top of the head creating a massive explosion on impact. THe creature stood still for a moment, then faded as well as release its heart. The two of us unsummoned our keyblades and embraced each other for a moment.

"Glad to see you here," I said.

"Same with you. Everything going well?" he asked. I told him about Atlantis and finding Saix there. Then, I mentioned how the heart of Atlantis gave us some power and Kingdom Hearts appeared at the same time possibly giving us some power too. Adrian had a chill go up him.

"Kingdom Hearts appeared over me too," he said. "It glowed brighter for a second and then I glowed in the same aura. Then, it disappeared." We thought about it and wondered what it could mean.

"Well, we could use as much help as possible especially in our situation," I replied. Then, I proceeded to tell him exactly how I showed up to fight the foes with him. He had a look on his face as if to say "wait what? are you serious?".

"You mean to tell me you met Judge Follo's son and he had you arrested because he thought you were a gypsy?" Adrain asked.

"Yup. I even reasoned with him to defeat the enemies, but he would not budge. Eventually, I just exploded," I replied. Adrian nodded in understanding. Then we went into the cathedral and looked around. We look to our left and there are people starting to fill up the pews. That's the sanctuary and so we go, genuflect and take a spot in a pew closer to the sanctuary. It seems as though Mass will begin and the priest will be there soon so Adrian and I kneel and pray. As I pray, I think about everything that I have experienced so far. How can my faith and a series that I have enjoyed so much come so close as to touching each other by fingertips? How can magic exist and how can everything that I have seen in the Kingdom Hearts series be real? My faith and what I see conflict and I do not understand, but I still pray and meditate about it. Then, the bells ring for Mass to begin. I immediately knew Quasimodo was up there ringing the bells so I bump Adrian, motion to the sound and he nods understanding my message. The priest comes and we all begin to chant a hymn. I heard it at Mass back on earth so I have no problem chanting with everyone else. Once Mass ended, Adrian and I go up to the bell tower and we look for Quasimodo. He comes out from behind a model of Notre Dame and is a little surprised to see us.

"Oh! I did not expect company up here. I'm Quasimodo," he said.

"I'm Ben and this is Adrian," I introduce ourselves. "You do a great job ringing the bells."

"Thank you," he replied. "Jean Frollo hates it when he hears the bells. He thinks of it as a reminder of his father's downfall. He has however, stayed away from Esmerelda though, but I fear he could start up what his father left behind." That made me swallow hard; Frollo is starting up what his father left behind.

"He already is. He tried to have me arrested as he thought I was a gypsy," I said. Quasimodo's face became concerned.

"Oh no! It can't happen again! Please, you must do something!" he insisted.

"Don't worry. We'll make sure he is taken care of," Adrian assures him. He nods and then goes up to the bells again to ring them for the noon hour. We in turn go down and walk out of the church.

"Well, it seems we have to be careful with Frollo and his men," Adrian said. "Let's go through the entire world and eradicate anything dark." I nod and we head off.

The city is mainly clean. At the bridge heading to the periphery, we come across some unversed, but they are no issue. We get to the cemetery and slow down some and observe the darker atmosphere. We looked at the graves of the dead and look at the headstones. Sometimes, we would bend down and pray for and honor some of the souls laid to rest there. It is not right to walk on or over the graves of the dead. It is disrespectful, but the larger unversed that showed up did not seem to care. Go figure; just like Vanitas. We summon our keyblades and begin fighting them off. It was not easy and they replaced themselves when we defeated some. Suddenly, another keyblade wielder jumped in and started attacking and helping us. Circumstances did not allow Adrian and I to look so we continued to fight. It took Mega Flare from all three of us to eliminate every last one. Once the fire clears, the three of us unsummon our keyblades. Adrian and I turn and look to see who this helper is. I froze in place because I could not believe it. The helper turned around and it was none other than Ephemera! How?! I thought Ephemera lived thousands of years ago?!

"Hey you! Ephemera?!" I said. He looked just like he did in Kingdom Hearts X [chi].

"Yes, that's my name, but I am a descendant of him who had the same name," he replied. "You two must be Ben and Adrian, the descendants of the legendary Supreme Elite."

"Yes that's us," Adrian replied "but Supreme Elite?"

"Indeed. Those are what your ancestors have been referred to by some. My ancestor with my name has heard of them and saw them fight in battle. He met only both of your ancestor though."

"I guess history is repeating itself then," Adrian said. 'Would you be willing to help us fight the darkness?" He then put his fist to his heart and nodded.

"I will follow where you both go," he said. He summoned his keyblade, held it out and bowed. I motioned for him to rise and he did so and unsummoned his key. The three of us then continued searching and looking around for any dark enemies. Meeting Ephemera has changed a lot. It definitely has made clear who is on our side.

Chapter 27: Sanctuary

It was good meeting Ephemera. His ancestor was a fascinating person and he helped a member of a different union. Ephemera here was not different; he too helped when we needed it. In fact, I wonder if there are any signs of the unions at all. I would not know unless I ask so in the catacombs and while we walk to the Court of Miracles, I ask him.

"Hey Ephemera, are the unions present today? Have they regrouped and rebuilt what they once had?" I asked.

"You won't believe what has happened with them," he replied. "The unions are reformed and have more members than when they first existed. It's amazing, yet most of the time, the unions are not helping each other. The members of each union only help one another when darkness threatens to destroy a member fighting for the light. Otherwise, there is no cooperation. Division just like before." I thought about it and it depressed me. In my country, the United States, we are one nation. The saying before the Civil War was  "United States are one nation"; many individual states coming together. After the Civil War, it became and has remained "United States is one nation". No one identifies themselves as a New Yorker, Floridian, Pennsylvanian, Northerner, Southerner, etc., but they identify themselves as Americans. Here, there is division in the light. One identifies themselves as from their respective union. Union? Why call it that? If it were a union, then all would be one. There are two sides: light and dark. It is not a battle of dark vs a certain union. Maybe this is how the prophecy in the Book of Prophecies comes true; darkness shall prevail and light shall expire. Maybe once the seven unite together, only then will all the unions put aside divisions and become one underneath the seven. For now, they remain divided.

We walk through the catacombs and come across a group of six men. They had torches in their hands and wore some unusually dark hued, medieval looking clothing. They were walking toward the three of us and we just stop and watch.

"Can we help you?" Ephemera asked.

"By the order of Judge Jean Claude Frollo, you three gypsies are placed under arrest," he said and they begin to seize the three of us.

"Hey! What's the big idea?! We're not gypsies!" Ephemera protested.

"Exactly! I'm Roman Catholic and so is Ben! We just went to Mass earlier at Notre Dame!" Adrian followed.

"The judge said you would say that," the head man of the group said. "We have orders to carry out nonetheless even though we can tell what is not true and what is." Wait a minute, something's fishy with that statement.

"Wait a minute! Then you know we are telling the truth," I charged. The male gave an evil smile in return. Chills ran up my spine when he did so.

"Precisely," he replied. Then, dark energy covered him and the other people under his command and covering him was dark armor. Then a dark keyblade appeared in his hand. That was no guard, it was a dark keyblade warrior! He prepared to stab me right through the stomach. My temper flared at that moment and just like I did the first time with Frollo, I exploded. Adrian did the same thing because he is not one to take nonsense from anyone. When one does give him nonsense, it really ticks him off because he is an adult and will not tolerate being talked to or approached condescendingly. The light energy from our explosions was powerful enough to set us free and send the six flying. Ephemera had to brace himself from our wrath since he was right there next to us. He came to our sides and along with Adrian and I, summoned his keyblade. The six stand up and this time, all of them have keyblades in hand. A two to one ratio in numbers, but I- I mean my ancestor, okay technically me from long ago- have been in these situations many times before so this is not new. The three of us take stance and we charge toward the six as we make the first move. Each of us took two on and fought them with passion. I used a technique similar to what I learned from sparring at karate class. In two-on-one, we learned to line up our opponents; take one on and use them as a shield from the other. It helped make this battle go more easily. Adrian did something similar in technique, but I recognized it mostly as the same thing I am doing. Ephemera, well, he does his own thing.

After five minutes, my patience wears out. I can't fight them forever, so I spilt them apart from each other's side and get in between them. The one in front of me, I fight for a bit, disarm him, and stab him in the middle of his body. He screams and when I pull out the blade, he falls to the ground dead. I feel the other one coming from behind so I put my key in reverse grip, put it to my side and stab backwards without looking back. He is caught in his tracks and stops immediately. He too falls down dead. Blood was once again on my keyblade, but I am starting to get over my sensitivity to it. I really am becoming like my ancestor; he was never sensitive to this stuff. I look to see my friends and they too finish off their foes. We continue to move through the catacombs and come to the Old Graveyard. There are more graves here and Adrian and I go to some graves, bend down at them, and pray for the dead that lay there. Not even ten minutes since our last battle do we find more people. They had the same feel as the last group. There were three of them and once they saw us, one ordered us seized and they came after us. The three of us kept keyblade in hand and it was good, for these three turned out to be more of the same. What's worse is just before hand, they were walking on the graves and leaning on the stones and sitting on some graves that had a stone slab over with writing of the epitaph or picture of the deceased and did not care! As a Catholic, I believe the dead must be prayed for and their resting place respected. Also, it is just proper and respectful in general. It really infuriated me that the dead were being disrespected and I used that as an excuse to fight hard. Harder than last time actually. It was one on one and the three of us once again fought dark keyblade warriors. It did take some time, but I slashed across his body and killed him as he was going to strike at my head. Adrian used Zantetsuken against his opponent and Ephemera used Strike Raid which the blade went in to his opponent's body. After our victory, we move on and head to the Court of Miracles.

Once we get there, we see Captain Phoebus there with a worried look on his face and him pacing back and forth. When he sees us three, he comes over to us immediately.

"Oh please boys! You have to help!" he pleaded.

"What's the problem?" Adrian asked.

"Esmerelda! She was arrested by men under Frollo's command!" he said. We were all shocked at the statement. Apparently, we were lured away from the cathedral so Esmerelda would become an easy target. I guess she was in the city and we missed her or she was in the Court of Miracles and we were too late. The latter seemed more likely. We made a promise to protect Esmerelda to Quasimodo. Now, we blew it. Fine, now, we must save her to continue to protect her.

"I see. Well, we have to go back to Notre Dame and save her," I said. Then from behind us, a voice came out.

"Not before you pay your punishment!" it shouted. We all turn to see and it was Jean Claude Frollo. With ten men coming toward us.

"You gypsies now face the same penalty as your dear Esmerelda," he said with an evil grin. Then, we were seized strongly this time all three of us. Three people for each of the three of us. Phoebus however, was still free, but watched in shock what was happening.

"How many times do I have to tell you?! I AM ROMAN CATHOLIC!" I screamed at him. Frollo merely turned his head to me with the same smile.

"Tell me that after you have been burned at the stake," he replied. Then the three of us were led away. I was rather stunned at the recent statement. Burned at the stake?! I could not believe I have been sentenced to death with no trial by jury! Oh wait, Frollo is judge and jury and I am already pronounced guilty. Phoebus apparently was arrested for supposedly helping the "gypsies" (meaning us and Esmerelda) and also sentenced to the same penalty. As we were being led across the bridge, we could see it's already nighttime and the candle lights from windows were visible. Soon, we were led to a jail, shackled, and then we were put in front of the cathedral where a big pile of wood with a stake sticking out was. Esmerelda was tied too it and tightly. I wanted to call out to her, but didn't for fear of causing further trouble. She did notice us and gave us a worried look. Apparently, she is not so worried about being killed again, she saw us three and her look was if to ask "Frollo accused you and sentenced you too?". I nodded back in a silent answer. She tried to get out of the ropes, but it was no use.

Then, the judge lit the pile on fire and watched it burn. I wanted to go and stop him, but the three of us were heavily guarded by about nine men. Apparently, these too were dark warriors, but they wanted my death to be slow and agonizing. The fire got larger and started spreading across the wood pile. Esmerelda started coughing because the smoke was thick and she is starting to suffer smoke inhalation. The flames got closer and closer to her slowly, but noticeably.

"Grgghh! What are we going to do?!" Ephemera asked me. "We can't let her die!" I was thinking what to do when suddenly, a person on a rope came swooping down and freed Esmerelda. It was Quasimodo! He freed her, went up to the top of the cathedral, and held her up in both hands as she was unconscious.

"Sanctuary!" he shouted. It was like watching the movie all over again. Frollo was infuriated and so he started to go into the cathedral and finish what he completed. This was a perfect distraction as everyone was distracted. So, I use my spell and melt my shackles as well as my friends and Phoebus. Then, we run from the dark foes Frollo used to guard us. They saw us and  begin to run toward us. The three of us make it around the fire and onto the steps of the cathedral. We see the dark warriors running toward us. To keep them back, we use Mega Flare on the wood mound. The fireballs hit and a powerful explosion knocked our enemies back as well as spread all over the square. Now, everything is in flames and it looked like hell itself just showed up. Phoebus managed to escape and he called in the French army because of the chaos. The warriors got up and came toward us. We all had keyblade in hand, but Adrian gave me a strange order.

"Ben! You have to follow Frollo and protect Esmerelda! We have these guys!" he said. Ephemera nodded in affirmation and so I nod in return and head up the stairs into the church. When I find the stairs up to the roof, I see the priest lying on the stairs face down. I run to him and tend to him. He looked up and gave me a look of distress.

"My son," he said "Frollo has blasphemed by throwing me down and denying sanctuary. God's judgment is upon him now. I hereby absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." He gave the sign of the cross and I performed the sign of the cross. "Now go and execute God's judgment. Your sins are forgiven for it. Bring cleanliness and truth back to Jesus's sanctuary."

"Yes Father," I reply. I head my way up to the roof. I really felt angry now. A priest in the middle ages was to be respected and listened to. Father here was just tossed aside because Frollo wanted his vengeance. Not only that, a priest is Jesus's representative so Frollo sinned against God by blaspheming when he pushed the priest aside. Also, he invaded the place of sanctuary; that's also a blasphemy. Now my mood is horrible and I want to make Frollo pay.

When I get to the roof, Frollo is already in a skirmish with Quasimodo and Esmerelda. It is like the movie when it came to his father all over again. Only I was involved this time.

"Hey Frollo!" I shout. He stops and turns around. He has a sword in his hand and apparently was using it to kill the hunchback and gypsy.

"So gypsy! It seems you have escaped your bonds. I will finish you myself if I have too!" he shouted.

"Judgment has been passed upon by God!" I replied "I am here to execute that judgment. Frollo laughed maniacally after I told him my purpose.

"Judgment is mine!" he said "And he shall smite the wicked and send them into the fires of hell!" Then he attacked me with his sword. With key in hand, I was ready for him and fought with my skill. Because of my skill, I drove him back slowly. In fact, he appeared to struggle as I fought him. I smiled like Ryuga did in the Beyblade Metal Saga as I drove him back.

"I'll finish you later. I have more important gypsies to attend to," he growled. We end up in a lock and he pushes me back. Then, he goes back after Quasimodo and Esmerelda continuing what he started. It got to a point where the three were in the same situation as in the movie (like KH3D). Frollo was standing on a gargoyle sword raise over his head and Esmerelda was hanging on to Quasimodo for dear life unable to stop him.

"Now he shall smite this witch and send her into the fires of hell!" he blasphemed one more time. I was looking to see if the gargoyle would fall, but it didn't. I put some light energy into my hand and punch the roof. A powerful jolt shook everything and destabilized the gargoyle causing Frollo to fall. Frollo was now hanging on to it for life. Then, the face came alive as a sign that he is the one smitten into the fires of hell startling him. Then, it finally breaks off from the church. Frollo falls into the flaming inferno below screaming the whole way. The French army comes and helps Adrian and Ephemera kill the dark warriors that fought them. Quasimodo climbs up and makes it back onto the roof. Relief is on all of our faces.

  "Thank you," they both said.

"No problem. It's my job," I reply. Then, I unsummon my keyblade and we go down the cathedral stairs, help the priest up and return him to his quarters.

"God bless you," he told me with a smile. I nod and then I part from them. Phoebus came up as I was leaving and thanked me as well. I nod and continue to go down the stairs and then went outside. It was raining a little so the fires were put out. Adrian and Ephemera were panting a little once the battle was done. They unsummoned their keyblades in relief and then turned around to face me.

"Well, I am glad I have had the honor to fight alongside descendents of the Supreme Elite," Ephemera said. "I must now depart." He gave us the warriors salute and we bade farewell. He disappeared into a light corridor leaving Adrian and I alone.

"Adrian, we need to buy time," I said. I remembered at the moment that I saw a dark cloud at the Walt Disney Company and realized our time is short. He looked at me with an anxious look.

"Why?" he asked. I explained to him what I remembered and he gave me an exasperated look.

"You could have told me that earlier!" he replied exasperated.

"You think I wanted to worry Ephemera? He does not need to know from me that time is short," I countered.

"So how do you think we buy time? I have no clue," he said.

"Simple, we hit them in the heart," I answered.

"So you think we should go to...? Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yes," I replied. "We must go to The World That Never Was."

Chapter 28: Right Where It Hurts      Ventus, Terra, and Aqua were at the Mysterious Tower in Yen Sid's office listening to him speak. He told them the fates of their four new friends in store for them. Their faces show heartache and sadness. They are like what they expressed when Ventus desired for his destruction in BbS.      "Is there anything we could do?" Terra asked. Yen Sid merely just closed his eyes and turned his face downward just like whenever there is bad news.      "I'm afraid there isn't," Yen Sid replied. " They are alone just like their ancestors once were. You three along with Sora, Riku, and Kairi here must fight Master Xehanort and the thirteen darknesses." The three of them looked down in hopelessness as they can't do anything. Their new friends are on their own and they the three masters can't do a thing about it.      "However," Yen Sid continued. This got the three's attention. "When they first obtained their power, they saw and heard amazing things." Ventus, Terra, and Aqua as well as Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Mickey all looked at Yen Sid and were all ears. He then explains just what the Supreme Elite heard and saw at Shaolin Temple.--------------------------------------------------------      As Adrian and I are walking through the light corridor heading to The World That Never Was, I think about how real this is and how the experience has been like lately. Then, I chuckle to myself; Adrian notices my chuckle.      "What is it?" he asked.      "Oh, I was just thinking to myself," I replied.      "About what?"      "Well, I have heard from other people how they imagined how Kingdom Hearts would be if it were real," I explain. "I have seen people cosplay and act like the characters from the series. They have even made fan movies and videos of them as the characters and act like them and replay part of the story. One fan movie called Nobody shows what fighting one's powerful heartless is like. It's not much different with fansites. On kh13.com, there are many people who have imagined or even wished that Kingdom Hearts was real. People with screen names such as The Transcendent Key, KHLegendIII, Flaming Lea, Sora96, DChiuch, etc. They and others have expressed some degree of a desire for Kingdom Hearts to be real." Adrian listened and nodded as he listened.      "Well, they are fans like you and me," he replied. "Remember how you and I would pretend it's real? It was fun and all, but we remembered that it was just a game. When we learned that it was real, we no longer treated it as fiction. Not everyone who is a fan is experiencing or has experienced what we are going through. It isn't their fault they don't know nor comprehend." I nodded in understanding. I am not alone and neither are my best friends. We are part of a small group of people on earth compared to 7 billion people.      "Overall, they just don't know what they are asking for," I said. Then, we continued on in silence. Once we came out of the corridor, we stepped onto The World That Never Was. Looking around, I saw that we were in the Avenue to Dreams. As we looked around and got used to our surroundings, I saw Jack and Shane! Oh my goodness! Thanks be to God they are alive! However, they looked like they ran a marathon and are panting. Shane is leaning against a building and Jack is sitting on the ground. They apparently did not notice that Adrian and I showed up so when we saw them, we move quickly to them. They notice us and looks of relief came across their faces. They hug Adrian to greet him and then they both embrace me tightly as if it was the first time in forever they see me.      "We didn't let them hurt us and we won't let them hurt you," Shane said panting.      "We will protect our brother no matter the cost," Jack followed. I felt rather confused at what they were talking about, but I was so happy they were here and I could embrace them. Then, we let go and I get down to business on what they are talking about.      "Who are you talking about and why?" I asked. They explain what happened between the time I split off from them until now. They go to Country of the Musketeers and do some recon. In the courtyard of the palace, they come across Ronnie and Vanitas! Both Ronnie and Vanitas talked about how killing them would be perfect before taking me on. Kill Ben's best friends to shatter his heart, then kill Ben in an agonizing fashion. After Ben is dead, Adrian will be as easy as taking candy from a baby. Shane and Jack explain how they fought to protect me, Adrian, and their lives, but their opponents were both hard and powerful. They won, but they had to expend much of their energy to do so. In fact, their power was in use most of the time. Once they finished, I felt angry at Ronnie and Vanitas for attacking my brothers, but also felt overjoyed my brothers still live and are here.      "I am just glad you two are alive and you handled Vanitas and Ronnie perfectly," I said. Clearly, Ronnie wants my blood on his keyblade and Vanitas has been trying to do the same, but since he is part of the thirteen darknesses, he has to fight Ventus. I guess since Ronnie has a very similar personality and heart to him, he in a way will give me payback. Ronnie has embraced and entrenched himself in darkness and, because of that, he will do anything to make sure that either I fall into darkness never to surface again or ensure that my blood is on his keyblade after he kills me. That is what a servant of darkness does.      "Wait a minute! We forgot something very important!" Adrian blurted out. The three of us look at him with alertness. "We are in The World That Never Was correct? We are in the base of Organization 13. They have plenty of followers and anyone who is of the light will be noticeable in a heartbeat. We have to blend in with the crowd; when in Rome, do as the Romans do, right?" The three of us nod to each other in agreement.      "I agree, but what do we wear to blend in?" Jack asked. Adrian smiles and looks at me. I smile and nod back in return. Then, dark energy comes over the four of us and we are wearing the black coats.      "There are probably plenty of other people who are wearing the black coat so we blend in," Adrian said. The rest of us nod and so we put our hood up to cover our faces and we begin our journey through The World That Never Was. It was a combination of KH3D and KH2. We start in the Avenue to Dreams and go through all of the obstacles Sora went through. It was rather interesting the surroundings. It's one thing to see them in a game, it's another to actually try out for yourself what it actually is like. What's weird is how there are NO dark warriors we have come across, however, after we go over the building where the low, fast moving mist is coming from and reach the area just before heading to Contorted City, there was a lone dark warrior there and he was walking the other way. I wait for us to pass him and I "accidentally" bump into him. He turns around and summons his dark keyblade.      "Hey! You want to fight or what pal?!" he shouts enraged. Just then, he froze still and screamed. Behind him, Jack and Shane stabs him in the back and kill him. We then move on to the alley heading to Contorted City. In the alley there were half a dozen dark warriors just talking to each other. Three wear a black coat, two wear dark armor, and one wears dark clothes only. They notice us and the one in the clothes steps in front of us and stops us.      "Hey! Looky 'ere!" he says "We got some soldiers here wanting to fight for Master Xehanort. Heh, they look like nothing." The others laughed along with him.      "I suggest you watch how you talk to us pal," I said calmly.      "Oh yeah? Or what?" he asked.      "Or this," I reply. Then I summon my keyblade and put it straight through his body and he has a shocked look on his face and he can't speak. Then, I pull it out of him and he falls dead. The four of us attack the five other warriors and kill them before they have a chance to strike. The farthest they got was summoning their keys and then they were killed. We continue on to the Contorted City and go through the strange city where a portion of it is active and the path is made of buildings. No warriors, but it was all fine and then we made it to the Nightmarish Abyss. Here, there were people going back and forth. There must have been 40 warriors all over the place! This made things more difficult for us because how do we take all of them on? Then it came to me. I gathered us in a huddle and whispered what I just thought. We all agree and break the huddle. We use our vanish spell and turn invisible. Now no one can see us. We spread out all over the place and begin our job. We go all over the place and begin killing dark warriors. I grab some lone warriors and slit their throats silently while everyone is not paying attention. I go over to others and begin attacking. They have no clue what is happening or why it is. Before they could do anything, I strike them all dead. Everyone in the area starts noticing the bloodshed and begin to look for the perpetrators. In the meantime, my friends and I kill everyone one by one. It takes about half an hour before all forty of the dark warriors are killed.      Then, we take the vanishing spell off of ourselves and continue to the Dark City. It was rather quiet, but we still found a warrior here and there. We put them in locks or distract them then slit their throats or stab them. We make it to Fragment Crossing where there are many streets leading to Memory's Skyscraper. There were at least eight people that I saw as we went through the streets. I bumped into one and he immediately grabs by coat and pulls me close with keyblade in hand pointed at my throat. He was wearing dark armor and I could not see his face, but felt the emotion and it was an irritated emotion. Immediately, Shane stabbed him and he let go and fell to the ground dead. We keep going and each of us would as we are passing by, we would slash across their body or stab them as we passed. Apparently, a couple others overheard us and what was happening and we saw them charging at us. Jack and Adrian used Strike Raid to avoid going one on one with them so their keyblades went into the warriors and they fell dead too.      We make it to Memory's Skyscraper and it is full of dark warriors wearing the coat, armor, and regular clothing. The four of us were right next to four warriors when suddenly, they shot fireballs into the sky. This got everyone's attention and us four stopped in our tracks. Then, those four pull off our coats and toss them aside! All eyes are on us as our cover is blown! We look around and one by one, dark warriors summoned their keyblades and take stances. We look around and realize this is impossible. Our ancestors fought multiple dark warriors at the same time, but they were not arrogant to think they could take on possibly hundreds at the same time. Suddenly, a dark corridor at the skyscraper appears and out from it comes Xemnas and Xigbar. They have smirks on their faces as they see the situation we are in.      "So, it seems your hearts have led you into obliteration," Xemnas said. "Even I am surprised by your foolishness and arrogance. Pity, we were hoping to challenge you ourselves. Instead, you decide to bring about your deaths."      "Huh, it seems you four wanted to play hide and seek earlier and won the game," Xigbar followed up. Clearly, he saw the bloodshed we caused and traced it to us. "However, after seeing you idiots come all the way to this, heh, hail the day that sees you all die. Have at it boys!" Then the two of the thirteen disappear into dark corridors leaving us to ourselves with the warriors. We had to move fast because they now started charging toward us. We grabbed each other and in a powerful bolt of white lightning, we teleported out of The World That Never Was and land at the Mysterious Tower. It was a relief for we basically just escape death. However, the time has come for the seven and thirteen to gather. The Keyblade War is about to begin.

Chapter 29: Prepare for Battle      The four of us in a lightning bolt escaped death and showed up at the Mysterious Tower. When we landed, we looked around just happy to be out of a life-threatening situation. However, we were not feeling better completely, for we could see dark clouds looming over. At least a quarter of the sky was filled with these clouds. We looked at each other with slowly sighed out; we knew that the time has come. So we went into the tower and went up to Yen Sid's office. When we open the door and walk through, we see all seven lights standing around. Sora, Riku, and Kairi were off to the sides. Ventus, Terra, and Aqua were standing in front of the desk with backs turned toward us. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy were standing alongside the master's chair. Lea actually was off to the side against a wall leaning with arms crossed looking down and off to the side. The four of us could tell this atmosphere was not a happy one. It felt depressing which was surprising because with the war about ready to begin and the seven about ready to take their places, we would expect nervousness and anxiety. Rather, we find sorrow instead. Why? Were they told the truth about us?      Yen Sid looks over the three's shoulders at us and the three turn around and look at us. Sorrow is written on their faces. The four of us look around at everyone and they all either are looking away to avoid eye contact because they feel too horrible or they are giving us the same look.      "I assume you told them?" I asked Yen Sid. He nodded in silence and in deep concern. I looked at the three masters in front of me. I have tried my best to please them and fight my best. They have suffered so much already and Sora just alleviated that pain. Now, just as they befriend and embrace me, I already see them once again in pain. It tore my heart out to see them like this. Their faces do hold sorrow on them, but Ventus really struck me. I saw his face and it he appeared to hold back sobbing completely. A tear fell from his left eye and he appeared to silently sob similarly to when he was Roxas in 358/2 Days.      "Oh... Ventus," I said then went over to him and hugged him. He in turn not only hugged me, but held me tightly. It seemed as though he won't let me go, but this was not surprising.      "Why Ben? Why?" he managed to say. He actually was sobbing now. I was feeling tight in my throat as I felt tears coming on.      "I cannot explain," I reply. "My ancestor fell to fate and I am doomed for the same. I will try my best to fight it as best I can." Then we let go and Ventus wipes the tears away and pulls himself together.      "Oh! That reminds me!" Adrian speaks up. It catches everyone's attention including me and my other best friends. "Master Yen Sid, I found something in the chapel that the four of us found in the Keyblade Graveyard." Yen Sid now was really interested and sat up some. "In the chapel, I looked around to find something that might help us four. Well, I look around the altar in the back of it and found a black tablet. It had ancient writing on it, but I was able to read it because it was in the ancient language my friends and I can speak. It had four sentences, one line each and each one said 'three lead to light, one leads to darkness; fading light falling into shadow finds new life; darkness encases, light pierces and renews; light is strongest when darkness surrounds it'. I was not sure what it meant so I figured it would be best to wait until I see you again and ask your interpretation." Yen Sid nodded then started stroking his beard.      "Hmmm..." he said while stroking "what you have read is true about the light. It does bring us out of the deepest darkness whenever it seems we are sinking and cannot get out. Your ancestors said they waited for the right moment to give their final say on fate. Maybe that is what you need to keep in mind for now. As for a literal interpretation, I cannot say what these mean. I am afraid you must discover the true meaning yourselves." Then he motioned for the seven to stand together in front of his desk. The four of us along with Lea, Donald, and Goofy stand behind the desk alongside his chair. Looking out and seeing the seven line up was quite a sight. It was very cool to see them line up from left to right. They looked ready to stand and fight and their faces showed it. Yen Sid then proceeded to speak.      "Seven lights... thirteen darknesses... the twenty pieces of the X-blade," he said. "According to Ben's research in his notebook," he motioned and looked at me with a smile, I blushed a little "- many before you have taken up the duty to fight the darkness and protect the Realm of Light from the darkness that the Keyblade War wrought. Unfortunately, as you fight the thirteen darknesses, the X-blade will be forged and the Keyblade War will begin again." He then raised his hand like when he made Riku master. "I send you all forward to fight the darkness and protect the Realm of Light, just like your predecessors once did."      Everyone bowed to Yen Sid and he nodded in return. The four of us assumed it was now done and so we began to walk out. We were half way between his desk and the exit when he clears his throat for our attention. We turn around and we see the seven lined up behind the desk and alongside Yen Sid's chair. All of their faces showed hope and each one of them smiled warmly and expressed what felt like hope. Yen Sid had an expression like everyone else. We happen to be lined up the same way and did not even noticed until we looked around. Yen Sid spoke again addressing us four.      "The Supreme Elite..." he said motioning to us "the greatest keyblade warriors that ever lived. Their leaders took great pride in each of them and entrusted them with the leadership of the unions. The Keyblade War came and sent them all into darkness never to surface again. Hear me seven lights, these great masters are models; fight the thirteen darknesses like they fought their darknesses." The seven bowed when Yen Sid paused as well as the three non lights. The four of us smiled and looked back and forth at each other and then back at sa bo nim, which is Korean for master in martial arts; we felt proud and honored for the respect we were being given.      "However, you four must show if you truly will put all you possess in fighting the darkness and so you will be put under a great examination," he finished. Behind us, we hear the door open and people come in. We look behind us and I freeze in place unable to talk; my mouth drops a gap as well as my best friends. Before us stand the one and only Foretellers! They must be the descendants of the great masters of yore for the great war was thousands of years ago. Every one of them lined up in front of each of us. Since our ancestors were part of the unions, the respective Foretellers stood in front of each of us: Leopardos in front of me, Vulpeus in front of Adrian, Unicornis in front of Shane, and Anguis in front of Jack. The leader of Ursus was off to the side, but remained in line. The Leopardos leader was my height, Vulpeus was shorter than Adrian, Unicornis was much taller than Shane, and Anguis was same height as Jack.      "Indeed, to prove you are all ready for the great war, you must have your power tested," my leader said.      "To test your strength, we will challenge you to see your power," Shane's leader said.      "Just like our ancestors tested yours to determine where their powers were in development, so we must do the same," Jack's leader said.      "Think of this as your Mark of Mastery exam," Adrian's leader said. "We will determine your readiness and should you four act as the Supreme Elite, you will be named masters. Will you accept?" The four of us bowed to them and then saluted them like all keyblade warriors do. The four leaders nod in return.      "Your examinations shall be outside and under my and Master Yen Sid's supervision," the Ursus leader said. "If you don't mind of course."      "I will gladly supervise with you," Yen Sid replied. Then he got up from his desk and went to the Ursus leader. All of us went outside onto the lawn in front of the tower and got everything ready. The seven lights and non lights remained near the doorway to make room and witness. Everyone noticed the clouds that were in the sky and some concern fell over everyone.      "We must not delay in our jurisdiction nor should you delay in your combat," my leader said.      "Yes sir," I said and bowed. Then I summoned Ultimate Apocalypse and took stance and my leader summoned his keyblade and took stance.      "Ready? Begin!" Yen Sid said and my leader and I charged and clashed in combat. He was hard and I mean HARD! I could not believe the skill and power! I rather was not surprised and so I put all out there in fighting him. He sometimes forced me off balance and took advantage and in return, I use barrier and counter blast to reset. It helped, but he immediately came back at me just like before. He used attacks and spells that I haven't seen before, but from I could tell, I could name them based off of characteristics. He used Ice Blade, Triple Aerorga, Dark Arcanum, Ice Zantetsuken, and the list keeps going. It was insane and yet I knew how to handle it thanks to my ancient instincts kicking in. I countered with Lightbloom, Ultima Cannon, Multivortex to get him moving back, but it was only half of what I wanted. Then, I started using my power and came up with spells and attacks that no one has ever performed. I even came up and executed some on the fly as I fought and they worked. I used keyblade transformations such as wings, hover board, bazooka, and many more. The leader was shaken, but he came back more aggressive and in fact got me knocked down. I heard the seven, non seven, and my best friends cheer for me. I stand up and light surrounds me and I float slightly above the ground. I then charge to the leader and sent him into the air and strike him over and over transforming my keyblade into a weapon like the keyblade in the Nightmare's End reality shift. I strike as fast and as quick and even teleport while striking. On the final blow, I swing my keyblade just like Nightmare's End and the leader is sent to the ground and makes contact in a big explosion. I come down from floating and land on my feet and see the place where he was. Light covered his body and he rose up. He grinned as he rose up and I could tell he was happy.      "Just like your ancestor," he said and then he performed Curaga and bowed to me. I nod and everyone cheers for me. The Foretellers clap for my performance, while the Ursus leader and Yen Sid discuss silently what they saw along with my leader. Shane, Jack, and Adrian go through the same grueling exam and pull out the power they possess. Every finish was different, but just as dramatic. After it was all over, the Foretellers and Yen Sid discussed what they saw for a few minutes. Then they break and line up left to right. We in turn do the same. The Foretellers summon their keyblades and point them at us.      "We hereby name you true keyblade masters," they all said in unison. Cheers from our friends came roaring and the four of us high five and hug each other. Then, we bow to the Foretellers and they nod in return.      "The time has come! The seven lights must now be ready!" Yen Sid called out. The seven all went through a light corridor and went to wherever the thirteen would meet them. The Foretellers came and shook our hands and congratulated us.      "Now go and do what you have been destined to do," the all told us and disappeared into a light corridor. Yen Sid remained in the world and came to us.      "I believe you must prepare your foundation back on earth for the storm on the horizon," Yen Sid warned. Then he congratulated us and went up into the tower.      "That's right! We need to tell our families and get them ready and... break it to them," Shane said with an uneasy pause.      "Let's meet each other in Walt Disney World in no longer than an hour," Jack said and we all agreed and went back to earth to our homes.Coming out of the light corridor onto my driveway felt pleasant. I was glad just to be home. However, I can only enjoy it temporarily for I have to head to Walt Disney World. As I walk through the back room door heading into the garage, my family is gathered around the breakfast counter and news articles are on the counter. They see me and gather around me and hug me and kiss me countless times. I do the same and then I look at the articles. They were all from Fox News's website and one was title "BLOODIEST PLACE ON EARTH: Massacre at Walt Disney World, about eight dead", another was titled "WAR IN THE WORLD: Battle breaks out in the Walt Disney World parks, resort on lockdown, many dead". It was good that I was far away from those battles that happened and my family is happy to see me back home and alive as well.      "Mom, dad, I need to tell you all something," I said and we all sat at the dinner table and I explained what was coming and my clothes and hair. They all looked overwhelmed and tears were shed once I finished. I hugged all of them and kissed them.      "I will be alright. I will watch my surroundings like in karate and fight to live," I assured them. "This war will most likely enter into society and spread around the world and come up this way; you might even see it right outside the windows here. Unfortunately, everything will be falling to ruins. I will put a powerful spell all around our property so nothing can harm you or ruin our property."      "We love you Ben. Be safe and watch your surroundings," mom said and she hugged me and kissed me.      "Go kick some butt Ben," dad says and he kissed my head.      "I love you Ben. Be careful," my sister said and she hugged me from behind. Then when we all let go, I go out the front door and look back and wave at them and they wave in return. I then put a powerful spell around my property to protect it from the war's effects. Dad starts bringing all the outdoor stuff into the garage and into the garage attic. He brings the truck into the garage as well and then closes it. I enter a light corridor and head to Walt Disney World and prepare for the war to begin.

Chapter 30: The Keyblade War: Part 1

Coming out of my light corridor, I end up in Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom. It was dark out and Cinderella Castle was lit up and the heart shaped moon Kingdom Hearts shined its light just like our moon in winter, but Main Street it self was not lit up. What I found rather strange was the park was absolutely empty; not a soul was present. Then, I hear from beneath the balcony of the train station behind me a phone ring from the booth, Strange, who calls the park and how can you call an in-park phone? I go to it and pick it up.

      "Hello?" I answer.

"Oh good, you made it into the Magic Kingdom," a familiar voice said. It was Mr. Iger.

      "Mr. Iger," I respond.

"Yes," he replied. "Now, you may be wondering why the Magic Kingdom looks like a ghost town and no one is in the parks. I ordered all theme parks and resorts around the world to be evacuated and put on lockdown. I declared a state of emergency for the company and all guests have been booked on flights sent home and their flights have been covered by us and our international affiliates. All guests have been returned home safely and all resorts have been put on lockdown. I know the time is coming and so I made sure we were ready."

"Why did you order all resorts and theme parks around the world to be emptied and closed?" I asked. I was missing something in his explanation.

"Did you really think the Keyblade War would be limited to just Walt Disney World alone?" he asked. Chills ran up my spine after he asked. The war will go around the world and spread to the multiple theme parks and resorts. Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and the recently completed Shanghai Disneyland will all face the wrath of the Keyblade War. Who knows if this war will go even farther than just the parks and resorts?

"Oh boy! I'm out of time! Be ready! The storm is coming and it's a powerful one!" he said.

"Thank you, I will," I replied and we hung up. I go back into the middle of the street and soon three other light corridors appear and out come my three friends. We don't say a word to each other at first and just look in to space as we try to comprehend that the war that has been retold as legend and seeing its evidence and magnitude is about to begin again. This time, we are involved and it affects our world now.

"We are about to become part of a war no one in earth's history has ever seen before," I said "we must try our best to stay together and fight until the end. Hopefully, the seven will defeat the thirteen ending the war."

"There's something we can't forget," Adrian said. "A few thousand years ago, this war we are part of was raging and our ancestors fell to their fates at that time. We are foretold that at about this point... we do the same." This made things more uncomfortable for all of us. How could we forget? This time a few millennia ago, our ancestors fell to their fates and according to prophecy, we are set to do the same thing.

"I guess we will have to be careful of very move we make and try avoiding any brushes with darkness," Shane said.

"If we happen to get split up, keep each other in your hearts and fight on," Jack said. "Besides, we're connected. Didn't Aqua say 'follow the hearts and you'll find the way'? We must do the same if we are to find each other." We all nodded in agreement. After walking around the flag pole circle in Town Square and then towards Cinderella Castle a little bit toward the half way point between Town Square and the Central Plaza in front of the castle, we look behind us and a light corridor appears and out of it come the seven lights, Donald, Goofy, and Lea. They all look at us with confidence and hope. Sora steps forward toward us, summons his keyblade, and raises it up toward us.

"We put our faith in all of you," he said. "You are our models; we look to you to show us how to fight. We're part of your hearts now." The rest of the seven summoned their keyblades and did the same thing as Sora and raise them to us. Lea followed and Goofy and Donald summoned their weapons and raised them to us. The four of us nod and smile in return. They then lower their weapons.

Suddenly, behind us, dark corridors open up; thirteen of them open up. Out of them come the one and only true Organization XIII, or properly named, the thirteen darknesses. We, the Supreme Elite, summon our keyblades in response. Every darkness came out from their last number to their first. Vanitas came out of his dark corridor, then it went in number order backwards ending with none other than Master Xehanort. He came out of his hands behind his back and smiling just like in BbS. The darknesses stared the seven lights and us, the Supreme Elite, down for a few seconds. Those seconds felt like hours and then Master Xehanort spoke.

"In ancient times, people believe that light was a gift from an unseen land by the name of Kingdom Hearts," he said. "But, Kingdom Hearts was safeguarded by its counter-part, the X-blade. Warriors vied for that precious light, thus beginning the Keyblade War. The violent clash shattered the X-blade into twenty pieces: seven of light, and thirteen of darkness. And now, these seven lights and thirteen darknesses have gathered together. The pieces have fallen into place and I shall obtain the prize I seek: the X-blade." After his speech, Ronnie and Nick come out from dark corridors next to Master Xehanort. Then, one after another like a domino effect, dark corridors appeared and dark warriors in armor came out of them. One after another they came out; they packed all of Main Street and soon spread throughout the park. Then, Ephemera appeared on my left side from a light corridor behind me next to the seven lights and soon, just like the dark warriors, one light corridor after another appears and light warriors in armor appear. They too spread throughout the park. How amazing! Both sides so vast in numbers! It was hundreds, then thousands, then tens of thousands. I think it stopped at about two hundred thousand on each side, thereby overfilling Magic Kingdom park to almost four times its limit for safety! Safety? There is no safety when it comes to war. Master Xehanort only smiled more as he saw the large amount of soldiers.

"The seven and thirteen are not in the final place. This environment is not where we shall battle. We shall be expecting you," Master Xehanort said. Then, the thirteen disappeared into dark corridors.

"I'll see you a little later Ben," Ronnie said with an evil grin. "I expect you to have a blast before we meet. If you are not too wimpy." Then he laughed like Vanitas did and disappeared into a dark corridor.

"You better not take forever Jack. I am rather impatient when it comes to your agonizing death," Nick said and he disappears in a dark corridor. It's just us and everyone else. The Supreme Elite, seven lights, the three non lights, and the two sides that have fought before.  For what felt like forever, both sides stare each other down.  Ephemera then speaks to me from behind.

"So... what now Ben? What happens now?" he asks. I go to answer when suddenly, someone from the dark side shot Firaga at me. I block with barrier and shoot back with Blizzaga.

"Quite simple now, we fight," I said. I nod to my friends and they nod in return. I nod to the seven and non seven and they do the same, Someone from the light side fired a spell and then it went back and forth and before we know it, it all explodes. The Keyblade War has begun. A dark warrior in front of me swings his keyblade at my head and I engage with him. My friends do the same and the seven and non seven engage too. In a matter of seconds, hundreds of thousands of keyblade warriors on both sides engage and lock keyblades in battle. Spells go flying everywhere, keys are clashing, warriors on both sides are screaming in charging toward their enemy. The sky that was dark, but lit up some because of Kingdom Hearts, is now turning black because of the black clouds filling in. Kingdom Hearts is blocked from sight because of the black clouds and the sky is pitch black like the middle of night. The only light there is is from flying fireballs and lightning from electric spells. Explosions are happening everywhere because of spells missing their target or because of mine-like spells exploding. So much happening at the same time.

I am engaging with a dark warrior and only briefly as I stab him and kill him. In short, what I am doing is not much different than what I did in The World That Never Was. I am engaging with many dark warriors and killing them after a brief battle or a skirmish for a few minutes. I am trying my best to stay close to my friends and they try the same thing. We get a brief chance to speak to each other.

"So never thought you'd be in a situation like this have you?!" I shout because it is so loud from the explosions, screaming, and clashing metal. I then engage with someone and we try to speak to each other while fighting.

"Who would?! It's amazing that we are what we are and have the power we have!" Shane shouted back.

"Yeah, but..." Jack said, then he slashed across an opponents body killing him and giving him a slight chance to speak and have a breather, "most people don't know what we know and the history was made to keep earth from all of this." A dark warrior screamed as he swung his key at Jack and Jack engaged with him.

"Well now, earth has been brought back into it all and has to face the wrath," Adrian said and then he took a warrior down by sweeping out his legs then stabbing him while the warrior was on the ground. I strike my enemy down and then turn to Adrian who also turns to me in that spare moment.

"We don't have to let it happen, we can help stop the thirteen darknesses," I said. Then I throw my keyblade at Adrian. He ducks immediately and my keyblade strikes and enters the upper chest of a dark warrior and kills him instantly. Adrian watched the whole thing and when he gets up and looks at me, I nod and get my keyblade back. It has even more blood on it than ever before. Some of the mid section and a slight majority of the end is covered with blood. Since the seven were mentioned, I look around for any sight of them in the Magic Kingdom and I don't see them. I engage with another enemy and realize that this war will be a long and hard fight. One I will remember for the rest of my life... if I live to see it end.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mom, dad, and my sister are sitting in the living room and have Fox News on. They are watching On the Record with Greta Van Susteran when the Fox News alert graphics show up in the middle of a commentary between her and two journalists.

"This is a Fox News Alert," she says. "A major, full blown war has erupted in the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Florida. The war broke out just moments ago and has filled the entire Magic Kingdom theme park with chaos. We don't have any live footage of this conflict to bring to you yet, but when that is set up, we will alert you immediately." Mom, dad, and my sister get a little antsy in their seats as they hear of the war they were warned about. They then pray the rosary for the protection of their son.

Chapter 31: The Keyblade War: Part 2: Spreading like Wildfire

I fought with everything I had physically. I really needed to try my best to use as little of my power from old as possible because if I use it all before I face Ronnie, then I will be dead for sure. I lost track of time and had no clue how long I have been fighting, but that doesn't matter, staying alive is what matters. I strike down and kill every dark foe that dares to attack me and I do so in a few strikes or after a short skirmish. I am not sure where on Main Street USA I am, but even so I just move to where I need to go in order to get the advantage. After a while, I notice I am right in front of the castle stage and I decide to go up on it and look around. I look around from up there and see that my friends are nowhere to be found. With this chaos and with such a large park, they could be anywhere. I remembered what Jack said though and I told myself that they are in my heart and I am with them as well. While I was on the stage I scanned over everything. Luckily, I had a chance just to see what it is all like. It was as if everything is in slow motion as I look around.

The Magic Kingdom: the place where fantasy reigns and where dreams come true. It is the first theme park of the "Disney World" project that Walt Disney himself imagined after Disneyland was finished. This park is where light reigns supreme and all children meet their favorite princess or character. I have called Walt Disney World home because I found that I fit here, I enjoy it here, I love coming here because I leave society and all of its troubles behind at the entrance sign to the resort complex while on the Magical Express bus that takes me to my resort I am staying at for my vacation. I am sad leaving because I am leaving home, but at least I know I will be back. I meet friends here and their family too sometimes. In fact, my family friends become like family; its always great to see them for they sometimes count down the days until my family and I show up. I meet my favorite characters and enjoy having my photo taken with them. Kingdom Hearts has made my love for Disney increase ever more and I embrace it even more.

However, what am I seeing? What has happened? I look around and I see darkness, chaos, and ruin. Streets that were once filled with happy guests and people on vacation have become streets filled with war. Soldiers around me are fighting against each other in a battle of two sides. Streets that have been filled with confetti from floats of parades have become filled with keyblades, dead soldiers, and blood. I see soldiers fight each other; one soldier is slashed across his body and screams as he falls to the ground and then dies. Soldiers are knocked down and then stabbed as they lie on the pavement. They are even stabbed as they stand against their foe. Keyblades are swung at heads and throats are slit. Sometimes, I see a body, but no head or any limbs or I see dying soldiers lying on the ground bleeding to death. I see soldiers lose a limb while they battle. I see another swing his keyblade at his opponent and the helmet comes off... but no head is visible afterwards. I find death and blood all around me.

As death fills the streets- oh what horror!- the Magic Kingdom does not become magical anymore. As spells fly and thunder and lightning flash and come from everywhere because of the electric magic, ruin is befalling upon the park. Explosions are happening all around the street and soldiers, parts of them, and keyblades are flying everywhere. On Main Street USA, one building explodes in a fireball and catches on fire with smoke rising into the air. From where I stand, I can see the Crystal Palace where I have eaten with my family and family friends for the character buffet dinner. It becomes the Shattered Glass Palace as a fireball screams through glass and explodes when inside the restaurant and shattering the glass completely while creating a fireball. Building on Main Street continue to take a beating from flying spells and the train station that is directly in my line of sight becomes engulfed with flames. Some buildings on Main Street collapse and cave in, half of the train station collapses as well. An explosion comes from Space Mountain and I see a fire at the attraction and in the shops and other attractions there. I hear what sounds like a rumbling sound and look to see Astro Orbiter collapse. Space Mountain, because of its structure, remains standing, but explosions are causing huge chunks to be blasted off.

In the midst of it all, I look and see the partners statue; the statue of Walt and Mickey standing together holding hands. Mickey looks up to Walt with a smile and Walt looks out with his hand pointing to look around while he is smiling too. What pain I feel as I see this! Walt in the statue says to Mickey Look around you! See the dream that comes true! See what has become of it! See how far we have gone! I look and see what has happened to his dream! It has become ruined! War has breached through it! It all falls to ruin and darkness! It hurt me terribly to see his dream, what I have treasured so much, has become a nightmare.

I look beyond the park and see the Contemporary Resort and its Disney Vacation Club counterpart, Bay Lake Tower, in flames and explosions coming from them. I then hear another rumbling sound as though it were thunder. I see the top of Bay Lake Tower and then in a split second, the top drops out of sight; the resort has collapsed. The Contemporary remains standing, but with portions missing, yet thanks of the extremely thick supporting arches that, with the ground and roof, make a trapezoid shape, it stands. However, a fireball came up from the middle of it and that means the insides closer to the main concourse have caved and collapsed on each other. It would be a matter of time before the whole building falls, but this actually gave me a warning signal. The Keybade War has now expanded outside of the Magic Kingdom and now rages in the rest of the resort complex. That means, the war has spread to the rest of the Disney parks around the world, thereby forcing the world to face the wrath of Keyblade War. We already know that in the Keyblade Graveyard, it would be fought again, but seeing this means it has spread to all worlds in the Realm of Light including my own.

--------------------------------------------------------------

The president of the United States is with his family in the private headquarters of the White House. The phone rings while he is with them. This phone is not an ordinary one, this is the phone. That is, we have a major problem or crisis. The president picks it up and on the other side is someone from the Pentagon.

  "Yes?" he says.

"Mr. President! We have a major war going on in Florida!" the male on the other side shouts.

"Where in Florida and what is this war?" the president asks.

"It's in Walt Disney World! Hundreds of thousands of people are fighting each other!" the agent shouted. "It is an absolute bloodbath there! The governor there already declared a state of emergency and contacted the Pentagon!"

"Tell everyone there and around the nation this order," the president ordered. " I declare a national state of emergency and order all our borders closed, airports shut down, flights grounded, the World Trade Center closed down, and so on. I want everything in the country shut down and this nation put on lockdown! This executive order is to be effective immediately! I also want the entire military here in the nation to be on high alert and even try to contain it."

  "Yes sir," the agent replied.

"Before you go, what exactly is this war?" the president asked.

"We are getting reports of people claiming they know what this is," the agent replied. "They are calling it the 'Keyblade War'."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My family is still watching Fox with The O'Reilly Factor on air at the moment when the alert graphics came up again and then the live footage of the war from a newscopter came up.

"This is a Fox News alert," O'Reilly said "the war that has broken out in Walt Disney World has spread throughout the complex. As you know the governor of Florida declared a state of emergency earlier and contacted the Pentagon while sending in the National Guard to quell or at least contain the violence. The president has just recently ordered a national state of emergency and ordered all airports closed, flights grounded, Wall Street shut down, and the borders closed. In short, he has declared the nation to be put on lockdown. We are now getting word that this war has spread to countries where there are other Disney parks. France, Japan, and China have followed suit and ordered their nations on lockdown. More information will be given once received." My family is still praying for their sons protection as the war has spread like wildfire. The only difference is, it is not light from the fire it spreads, it's the darkness that the war brings.

Bravo, bravo!  What a riveting and horrifying battle!  I could definitely feel Ben's pain as everything around him was being destroyed, and the part that especially got to me was when he was looking at the statue of Mickey and Walt with great sadness!  That gave me goosebumps!

Wow, so even the President is aware that this war isn't to be taken lightly!  Now, the whole world is watching the Keyblade War unfold!  What an amazing chapter!  I can't wait for more! :D

Chapter 32: The Keyblade War: Part 3: Into Darkness

As I am watching an apocalypse happen around me, I see a group of half a dozen dark warriors catch sight of me and head up the ramp that leads to the walkthrough of the castle and the castle stage. If my friends were around me, I would have no problem with this, but obviously, that is not the case. I had to remind myself my ancestor was in the same exact position I am in now so I put my ancestor mentality on and waited for the six to come. I watch them the whole time they come up the ramp and see them make it to the rear of the stage. They make it to the stage and walk a few steps toward me, then stop six feet away from me. They have keyblades in hand and all are wearing dark armor. The head soldier of the group in front of me looks me up and down and I can't see his face because of the helmet, but I could tell it has a smirk because he sees what I am.

"Heh, this one here tried to get away," he says.

"That's Ben, the descendant of the Supreme Elite," one of the others said. The head soldier nodded in thought as he scanned me.

"Oh is that so?" he asked. "I see. He is wearing the same clothes. Hmph, if he is such a big shot because of his relative, I'd like to see him try to take this." With that, his keyblade in a dark aura changed into a shape I have never seen before. It got larger and longer, the design of it changed, but kept most of the original. It gave off that dark aura still because it was more powerful this time. In reaction, I charged up energy and used BladeCharge. This would help with fighting the six, especially the main soldier by keeping them at a distance. I took stance and then both me and the six charged at each other. Thanks to the massive light blade I have, I swipe once and even though the main soldier ducked, the other five were sent back some toward the castle. The head one merely stood back up and started fighting me, but I was already prepared and made attacking for him more difficult by trying to keep his keyblade arm in an uncomfortable position in combat. That is, I kept his keyblade near him in combat. He started getting mad and became more aggressive. Unfortunately, the other five surrounded me and one after another, they started charging after me. I used the skills I learned in martial arts in defending myself to fight them. I moved guys around and used some as shields against their own. A dark soldier shot a dark orb at me, just after one of his fellow soldiers charged at me. In one swift motion, I would grab the one running, turn him around toward the orb and use him as a shield and let him take the bullet. The dark orb hit him and at the same time, I fired a light orb back and hit the one who fired the dark orb and knock him down. Since there was another foe behind me charging at me, I turned around, threw the now limp dark foe in my hands at him and caused them both to fall over each other. I kept turning around and with my non keybearing hand, I raised it toward the other three foes, which includes the head soldier with the darker blade, and sent a shockwave toward them all and they went backwards. The two minions hit the castle hard with a very loud thump and slight crack and then went limp. The head soldier went into the walkthrough of the castle. The two soldiers that I used against each other charged after me from behind after regrouping and I sensed them coming. In turn, I did a corkscrew turned around and slashed them one across his head and beheading him and the other across his chest. Both bodies were sent back because of the momentum and force of my swing and fell off the stage. For a moment, I am panting then I stand up and look toward the walkthrough.

The dark soldier is in a dark aura and panting in anger. I knew this would not be easy and seeing him like this was not the best either.

"You..." he said. "I have dealt with annoying scum light before you came along. This time, you have really... ANNOYED ME!" After he shouted this, a dark aura exploded into the air and I just got ready even more. Then, he came at me with all aggressiveness and determination. I had use my martial arts techniques just to make him pause for enough time to force him to take his foot off the gas. We fought all over the stage firing spells back and forth at each other and throwing our keys at each other. It actually forced us off the stage and onto the street where the rest of the war was. Now we were hand on hand with each other and going at it while explosions are happening nearby sometimes a dozen feet away.

Suddenly, a soldier from a different match did a thunder spell against his opponent who was right next to my match and the strike was powerful enough to knock me and my foe back at least six feet from each other. Then, a fireball from a distant match that misfired from Tomorrowland came flying, landed a couple feet from me, and exploded. I braced myself luckily in time, but when I looked at the result of it, I had dirt on the left side of my face and my clothes were now showing the price of war. From my fights, there are blood stains and dirt on them. There were tears and holes in my pants and shirt. I saw some minor cuts on my arms and one little cut on the side of my abdomen, but nothing big.

The soldier I had been fighting came out of nowhere and attacked me causing me to get off balance. Eventually, I force his keyblade pointed down and roundhouse kick his face. He swings at my head and I duck, but then he swings at my head again. It was as though it were in slow motion what happens. I bend back enough to avoid losing my head and look away. A small tip of the blade of his came across my left cheek and I felt it cut across my face. Once it passes, I immediately perform the Zack D-link Hero's Pride and attack the soldier. With the final blow, he is flying backwards towards the partners statue and lies still. He has portions of his armor on his body and face missing and has cuts all across his face and one big gash from his right shoulder to his left hip. Right after I gave the blow, I looked at the ground and saw some dark energy circle around me. It was brief and it disappeared after a second or two. I put my hand to my left cheek and realize I have a cut there and it's bleeding. While I do so, I realized that Hero's Pride is a dark attack and I just egged on fate some. I need to be careful in using dark attacks if I want to try to avoid fate at all costs.

I walk a little toward the partners statue a little when a dark corridor behind me appeared and out came my old first foe, Vanitas. He already had his Dark Void in hand and was ready to fight me already.

"Why are you here and give me a good reason why I should let you live to see tomorrow?" I demanded from him.

"Heh, calm down idiot," he said. "I am here because Ronnie and I, Ronnie especially, have been waiting to long for you to show up and meet your best friend death. He wanted me to either kill you before I take on Ventus or bring you to him after he decides to have some fun with that Kairi before she and the rest of the lights fight me and the rest of the darknesses. I think the former is a much more preferable choice." He then took stance and got ready to fight. I did the same thing and we pause for a bit before we go right at it and charge toward each other. He used some dark moves with dark magic mixed in, but I did not let them hurt me. Counter blast was helpful and I shot lightning from my hand in countering. He aerials out of the way and fires his classic fire spell. I merely strike down the fireballs and just charge at him. While I do so, just like in the Kingdom Hearts III E3 2015 trailer, I shoot Blizzaga and it creates an ice path. I get on it, glide, and jump high into the air. Even though Vanitas blocked the ice spell, he looked up at me in the air unready for what's coming. I turn my keyblade into a crossbow and rain down light orbs. Only this time, they are stronger and more numerous. In the process, I send any dark warriors in the vicinity flying in directions away from my match with Vanitas and help the other light soldiers kill their foe. Vanitas took damage and I landed right on top and created an explosion larger than I have seen so far. He hits the wall of the stage hard and falls onto the ground, but he still gets up.

He raises his keyblade pointing to the sky and massive amounts of dark energy gather around it. It seems to be taking forever before he finally decides that it is enough.

"Now, I will finally finish you off like I wanted to the first time we met," he proclaimed to me and he pointed his keyblade at me and fired the massive amount of black energy at me. Watching it was like watching a freight train come barreling toward you. I put my keyblade in front of me and, using my free hand to enforce my block, I took the impact of the massive blast. It was almost completely surrounding me as I blocked. I tried everything in my physical power to block the spell, but it was extremely hard and I could tell that it is starting to overcome me. I was losing it some and the darkness was already starting to cave in around me. In one last effort, I pushed back and instead of forcing the dark magic to dissipate and disappear, I used my keyblade and in a similar fashion with Eraqus creating his light spells, I put all of that dark energy into a massive dark ball. Then, my keyblade soaked it up and finally, I pointed it at Vanitas and fired the whole thing back at him. It slammed into him and he hit the stage wall hard and was pinned against it until the energy ran out. Then, he fell onto the ground again. He was still for a while and it made me wonder if I killed him thereby saving the worlds from Master Xehanort and his wanting the X-blade, but then Vanitas moved and he just laughed hysterically. He stood up slowly while laughing and continued doing so for a while. Then he stopped and just stared at me. Finally, he disappears into a dark corridor. I felt relieved that I mostly avoided using my ancient power and was ready to move on and find my friends, but then, the worst of worst happened. What I have not wanted to happen came to be,

Dark energy circled around my feet in greater intensity. It grew more and more and some started rising up and dissipated as though it were steam. It grew more and more and soon, wrapped itself around my feet and ankle. I tried to break free, but it was no use. It was as if massive weights were put around my feet. The darkness grew into a circle about a yard in diameter. I tried fighting, but to no avail. Suddenly, I felt myself fall as though a trap door came out from underneath. I fell into the hole and the sight of Magic Kingdom disappeared in a flash. I now saw blackness around me and I realized I am falling into the Realm of Darkness. I tried fighting a little more, but it was all in vain. After a second or two, I turned upside down and faced down into the dark depths and calmly fell into the Realm of Darkness. I tried my best to fight fate, but I forgot a very important detail: the fate of all is inevitable. It was inevitable that I would fall into darkness. It was quite obvious now, Master Xehanort indirectly has led me to my proper place: darkness. So, without putting up a fight, I fall into the blackness of the Realm of Darkness.

---------------------------------------------------------

My family is still watching Fox News live coverage of the war, which has been going on for a while now while praying for their son. The O'Reilly Factor has been on for about thirty five minutes when a new alert comes up.

"This is a Fox News Alert, the Keyblade War that has been raging on has now extended outside of the Walt Disney World resort and other Disney resort complexes. As you remember, we earlier reported that it spread throughout Walt Disney World and to the other Disney resorts. Now, it has broken loose and rages throughout central Florida. The president has sent in the U.S military to contain it, but it appears nothing is working. Here is the satellite footage from NASA of the war." Earth from space in real time appears and black spots appear in America, Japan, China, and France and are growing slowly, but surely.

"This war is perhaps the most dangerous ever," O'Reilly said. "I urge everyone to be ready and go into any basements or storm shelters if possible." My family is praying now even harder for their son's protection even though they are unaware of his situation. My sister hears a distant noise and goes to the front windows of the house. She sees in the distance, lightning strikes in a single distant area.

Chapter 33: The Keyblade War: Part 4: The Dark Keyblade Warrior

Shane is in Tomorrowland just by the entrance to the land. He has been fighting for God knows how long. He has seen the explosions at Space Mountain and debris from the attraction flying everywhere, even coming toward him. Shane had a few moments looking for Ben, Jack and Adrian, but alas, they were nowhere to be found. Even if he wanted to start searching for them starting with Main Street where he last saw his friends, he couldn't. Right now, he has to fight and strike down every dark warrior that challenges him. It takes him only briefly to strike down and kill an enemy. He looks around and sees a fellow warrior of light fight two dark warriors at the same time. He appears to be losing and dark energy is striking him and the foes are almost killing him. Shane remembered what his ancestor always did for others: always saving them from darkness when it seems their light will be snuffed out. Shane fires Firaga at one of the foes and knocks him back making fall onto the ground. This got the attention of the other foe for a second. The fellow light soldier butted the enemy with the hilt of his keyblade causing the foe to stutter back while holding his nose in pain. Shane went up to the side of the soldier and got ready. The soldier and elitist looked at each other briefly; the soldier nodded and Shane nodded back. The two foes got back in order and took stance. Then, they charged at Shane and the light soldier. It was a match that lasted for a minute or two, but in this war, minutes feel like hours. Shane swiftly knocked his foe to the ground and then stabbed him on the ground. The other soldier was still fighting, but Shane intervened and fought alongside his fellow soldier. Eventually, Shane took control and the soldier in awe hung back and watched "how it's done". Shane locked keyblades with the foe, but then, he spun around to behind the foe and swung his keyblade around and stabbed the enemy. He stands still for a second, then falls dead. Shane and the light soldier look at each other for a moment while Shane pants a little. The soldier puts his keyblade bearing hand to his heart, nods, and bows a little acknowledging that Shane is one of the Supreme Elite. Shane bids him to rise, bids him well, and moves on.

Shane is now in the main walk to Tomorrowland and once more is engaging one after another with dark warriors. This time, they keep on coming and it seems as though he would never get a break. As he strikes one down, he hears a rumbling. He looks to the center of Tomorrowland and sees Astro Orbiter collapse on top of many warriors. Shane can't tell what side any of them are on, but it probably is on top of both. Immediately, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor explodes into a fiery inferno and sends soldiers flying. Shane dropped to the ground and shielded himself from the explosion out of reaction, but after a second or two, he stands up, looks at the fire for a moment and then runs over to the Astro Orbiter leftovers. He looks around and sees rubble and bodies all around. Luckily, there were not any trapped under the rubble. However, what is strange is, all the warriors dead and covered in blood and lying in the mess are from the dark side. Shane stood puzzled for a while when eight soldiers surrounded him. Shane looked around alerted, but after observing them, they were all on the side of light. Three wore fancy looking armor, one wore regular clothes, and the other three wore half armor and half clothes. The one wearing regular clothing must be the head of the group and he came up to Shane standing a couple feet away from him.

"We are descendants of the students of the Supreme Elite's successors," he said and raised his keyblade toward Shane. "The first successors foretold to the first students that one day, descendants of theirs would meet one of the Supreme Elite in the darkest of hours. Now, we have fulfilled the prophecy and follow wherever you go." The rest of the soldiers raised their keyblades toward Shane and they all went down on one knee.

"Rise," Shane said and they rose. "Then I assume that you all were around when Astro Orbiter collapsed and forced your foes to fall underneath the falling debris and killed them that way." They all nod in reply. Immediately, they were all surrounded by many dark foes. There might have been at least a dozen of them so it was a 3:4 ratio of light (including Shane) to dark warriors. It did not matter though, for Shane's ancestor was in this situation before so he should be fine. The two sides charged toward each other and fought each other. Shane fought four dark foes with two of the students of the Elite's successors. Shane took out his opponent and then with the two others, killed the rest of the opponents. They then moved on to the other students that fought the rest of the dark foes, but suddenly, a fireball from a spell that ricocheted from a match nearby crashed into the students that fought with Shane and into the students and dark warriors fighting each other and created a huge explosion. Shane was sent backwards and landed on the ground while everyone else was sent all over the place. He got up slowly from the ground and felt around him. His clothes had tears and holes in them. He had dirt on the side of his face and he realized a cut went from the side burns to his temple and a bit on the forehead. It was not really deep, but it bled a little making it visible where the cut is. Shane looked around and saw all dark warriors dead and, unfortunately, the students dead. Shane saw that only the head of the group was alive, but he was bleeding from the side badly and he was on his side holding the wound. Shane immediately went over to him and bent down to tend to him, but he saw it was beyond any of his control and the head student fell onto his back arms out and palms open.

"I did my duty the best I did. I am sorry I disappointed you," he said as he laid dying.

"No, don't apologize," Shane rebutted. "It was not your fault. A powerful spell came toward us all and I did not see it coming. It's my fault I did not see it coming."

"Heh, another thing I learned is the Supreme Elite are never wrong and always do what is correct and moral," the student said. "It's up to us the students to do our jobs and be aware of everything. Since we did not make it to our Mark of Mastery Exams, I guess this was it and we all failed it. Well, I only wish now for me and my comrades is for your satisfaction with us." This touched Shane and he got a little misty over it.

"I believe and can say I am satisfied with you all," Shane said. "You all did what you were supposed to. Also, since I am a master who witnessed your exams, I hereby name you all new keyblade masters." The student smiled weakly in pleasure and relief as his life was almost over.

"Thank you... Master... Shane," he said weakly and faintly. Suddenly, a shockwave sent Shane rolling backwards away from the now newly made master. When he got up, Shane saw none other than Jack's dark twin standing over the dying master. He looked down at the dying master and smirked.

"If you are going to kill me, do it now and quickly," the new master said to Nick.

"I considered letting you die in an agonizing and slow way," Nick said "but since you asked..." and then he immediately stabbed down at the new master right in the middle of his body. Shane almost yelled no, but it was so fast he could not do it. The master yelled in pain, gave Shane one last look to bid farewell, then closes his eyes and becomes still as death over takes him. Nick takes out his keyblade and blood is on the end of it. In fact, blood stains big enough to be seen from five yards away were all over the blade and middle of Nick's keyblade. Nick observed the blood all over his keyblade. Shane now got hot-headed and mad from watching the scene.

"I saw you were getting all misty and soft on me," Nick said to Shane after observing his key "so I had to make you snap out of it and get mad, but this won't make you nearly as mad as what I am going to tell you." Shane had a look of suspicion as if to say "what do you mean?".

"Your best friend Ben," Nick began "was going to fall by either Vanitas's blade, Ronnie's blade, or mine. I so wanted to make it by mine so part 1 of my revenge on my stupid brother Jack would be complete before I kill him in part 2. However, I witnessed from a distance something even better! BEN FELL INTO DARKNESS TO HIS FATE!" Nick laughed hysterically as Shane was stunned and felt like his heart was ripped out from his chest.

"I saw and died of laughter right then and there," Nick said amused. "So, I decided I would alter part 1 by shifting my target from Ben, to someone else close to Jack. He is standing right in front of me right now if you are wondering. Once I tell him of Ben's fate and your death, then I finish Jack off for good." Obviously, he meant Shane and now made Shane his target. Shane gritted his teeth and got really angry now. First, he makes a joke out of his best friend, his brother whom he has sworn to protect from the ilk of Jack's brother, Ronnie, and even Vanitas. Now, Nick has shifted focus to him and kill him after telling Jack of Ben's fall into fate and his death and shatter Jack's heart before killing Jack. Shane took stance and charged after Nick. Shane had anger and it fueled him to fight and defeat Nick. This would help get rid of his apprehension and move on. Nick had been ready and was merely waiting for it or if it did not come, he would attack instead. He had half of the work done already since Shane attacked him and so the rest was done with pleasure. Shane pulled out every spell he knew and used every attack he knew. Nick kept on either striking the spell down, or dodged and fired back. Shane unknowingly started using dark attacks and spells that he knew, but it was after a minute or two that he realized what he was using. He had to make sure to be careful with how often and hard he used these attacks. Nick and Shane fought for what felt like forever, but really, it was a surprising ten minutes. At some point the two of them were kneeling on one knee and panting as they glared at each other.

"Ha ha ha," Nick laughed "I'm surprised you lasted this long." Then he stands up completely as does Shane. "However, seeing you delay my vengeance against Jack is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING!" Then he absorbed a lot of dark energy and charged at Shane. Shane had to absorb light energy and the two of them clash creating a shockwave. They go at it for another couple minutes before Nick takes his free hand and grabs Shane the same way Terra-Xehanort grabbed Aqua in BbS and raised Shane off the ground. Shane felt the same pain and darkness that Aqua felt except it felt as though it were starting to soak into him.

"Now then," Nick said calmly and with a manical smile "I can finally crush your heart and kill you and finish you off like the pathetic waste you are!" Shane once again got steamed up and so he put dark energy from a dark spell he would use and punched Nick in the face hard. Nick let go abruptly and was sent back almost twenty feet. Shane then attacked Nick punching, kicking, and slashing like Terra's Dark Pulse, but with more speed and power. Nick was off balance and unaware from the beginning and he could not do anything as Shane hacked away at him. Eventually, Shane uppercutted Nick and sent him twenty feet above the ground. Then, he jumped up and like a final blow in a final smash, he struck overhead at Nick sending him back down to the earth like a meteor creating an explosion. Shane floated down landed softly onto the street. Nick rises up in a dark aura and stands upright onto his feet. His eyes are yellow now and remain yellow even after the aura disappears.

"Heh," he chuckled, then disappears into a dark corridor. Shane is panting some as he sees Nick disappear and the dark energy he uses disappears. However, it comes back in a way he did not want.

The dark power strikes him across his face and body and gathers in a pool around his feet anchoring them to the ground making escape impossible. Shane felt the force and did not bother trying to escape because he knew it was to be in vain. Then he felt more dark energy strike across his face and body more violently. Shane realized the worst of the worst is about to happen to him: fate is taking place. He realized that right now, he can't escape it so he has to submit and then hope that he finds a way to reverse it all.

"I'm sorry Ben, Jack, and Adrian," he said to himself. Then, like Ryuga falling to the dark power in Beyblade Metal Fusion, Shane stood with arms slightly out and feet slightly wider than shoulder width and screamed in agony as darkness entered into him and into his heart covering it in black and changing it. His eyes went from green and brown to yellow and his hair went from dirty blond to black. His clothes were mostly white with some grey and red and blue, but now the darkness changed the white into black and the other colors into purple. His keyblade, Light's Redemption, changed in the same way as the clothes and changed its name from Light's Redemption to Darkness's Victory. Shane screamed in pain the whole time darkness entered him and once it stopped, he stopped too and just stood still eyes closed, face down, and gasping through his teeth. The dark pool disappeared once the dark energy stopped entering him. After about a minute, Shane opened his yellow eyes and smiled maniacally. His mentality changed from protecting the light, to taking it over and snuffing out opposition. He thought that what darkness has been doing is right; light has been the tyrant and it must be defeated. The seven must be defeated or the balance will not be met.

Shane went through the war-torn Magic Kingdom and entered the area where Fantasyland and Tomorrowland transition. Aqua was there fighting dark warriors and Shane saw her and waited for her to finish. Once she killed her foes, she sensed something dark right behind her and turned abruptly. She gasped like in BbS when she saw Shane now taken over by darkness. She could not speak as she saw him.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't one of the seven," Shane said. "You are fighting to keep light's tyranny going and keeping Kingdom Hearts out of proper hands. What a pity, and I thought you were smarter than that."

"Shane! Break free! You are under darkness's control!" Aqua pleaded "You are meant to protect the light! You are part of the Supreme Elite! We put our faith in you!" It was all for nothing as Shane chuckled in an evil way. It became quite clear to Aqua that she cannot and is the wrong person to break through to him, it's Ben, Adrian, and Jack who must, wherever they may be.

"I was supposed to defend the light," Shane said "but now I realized that I made a mistake and I won't make it again. Since you have refused to do the same, I will defeat the seven myself starting with you." Then he went into stance and charged after Aqua. She did not want to hurt Shane, but had no choice. What she is looking at is not Shane anymore; he is not the Supreme Elite anymore. This is the dark keyblade warrior that Yen Sid told her and the rest of the lights would fight her or any of them. This is the dark keyblade warrior that now has a name: Dark Shane.
