Chapter 10 Operation: Magic Kingdom

I walked with Sora up Main Street and enjoyed not only the feeling of being back in the place I love, but the company someone from the series I love offered. Sora and I talked and he asked many questions about me.

"So... how did you get the keyblade?" he asked.

"It appeared to me as my family and I were in Epcot." I explained "Vanitas challenged me just in front of the International Gateway and it manifested into my hand."

"Vanitas? He was here?!" Sora asked shockingly. By now, we stopped on the bridge linking the plaza in front of Cinderella Castle and Main Street and I looked at Sora curiously.

"Yeah. Why does this shock you?" I asked.

"He is one of the thirteen darknesses! I was assigned by Yen Sid, along with Riku and Kairi and the others, that all signs of the thirteen darknesses must be defeated!" This statement sent a chill up my spine. I knew that Kingdom Hearts 3 would explain it all, but this is something different: I am in Kingdom Hearts 3 and my home was merely another world! I felt light headed and sick to my stomach and tottered around for a bit, but Sora kept me standing. Soon, I composed myself and reminded myself this is the new normal and to tough out like Ryuga. Suddenly, creatures appeared around us. They were nightmare dream eaters, but then, they were accompanied by unversed. Sora and I immediately summoned our keyblades and took stances.

"Well speak of the devil." I said "I guessed he sensed a case of desperation and decided to capitalize on it."

"We'll have to get used to it. I'm not afraid though! Nothing can defeat us! We can beat these guys with flying colors!" he said in confidence. I chuckled; once again, classic Sora. Then, we charged after the dream eaters and unversed crowd and attacked. They put up a bit of a fight, but we defeated them in ten minutes. I used my martial art skills to help defeat the enemies. I even used all spells and attacks found in Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance against them which really helped. After that was over, Sora and I high-fived and complemented each other. Then, we heard someone clap in a sarcastic-like way. I look toward Cinderella Castle and I see him: Nick from school, Jack's counterpart.

"Good job," he said "I did not think both of you would be able to take all of them down. Impressive."

"You! You're Jack's counterpart! But how?!" I shouted. Nick to Jack was Vanitas to Ventus. He had a dark appearance and dressed darkly.

"You see, our mother was supposed to have one child with both a dark and light mixed heart." he explained "Then, the two split and she gave birth to us. She knew it though and tried to turn me around from my dark nature to match Jack. Hmph, she knew nothing about darkness and favored that doofus over me all because he possessed a light heart, so I decided to follow my nature and plan my revenge against them. Now, I can finally make it happen." Then, he summoned a dark keyblade that I have never seen before. Sora was about to get ready, but I put my hand in front to have him stand down.

"No Sora, I got this." I said since he plans to kill me to ruin Jack forever. I took my stance and then we charged at the other one. He was skilled and difficult which made me rely on my karate skills more. After fifteen minutes, I back kicked him and he went backwards, but landed and then leaped high to strike my head. What I then do happens naturally and I've never done before.

"Hold it up there sonny!" I said at fast pace. Then, I take my left hand and act like I have a cape and swing it around me as it has darkness in it.

"Know my power." I say and perform Meta Knight's final smash: Galaxia Darkness. Nick gets caught and stops in mid air as the area around us goes black. Then, I strike like lightning, the darkness lights up when I strike, and he goes flying high. Finally, he lands in front of Walt and Mickey statue and lies still for a moment, then gets up smiling.

"I'm not done yet." he says and five more dark warriors appear from dark corridors. Sora and I are stunned at the sight and I send a light orb firework into the sky. As I did so, three others shot into the sky from behind, to the left, and to the right of the castle; Adrian, Shane, and Jack are in trouble.

Chapter 11 Battle of Magic Kingdom

I knew Jack, Shane, and Adrian were in trouble, but how to get past the dark warriors and Nick was the problem.

"Oh great. What are we going to do now?" Sora asked me "We're outnumbered three to one and there is no way we could take on all of them at once!" Then, an idea came to mind.

"Hang on to my arm Sora!" I ordered and Sora grabbed my lower armer while my keyblade turned into a light cloud and covered my hand like an aura. Nick and his five henchmen charged at us and I reached up and then punched the ground hard with my light-covered hand and bright light exploded all around us whiting everything out. Then, we found ourselves in Adventureland where one of the orbs was fired. Sora let go of my arm and we looked around for anyone of my friends. It did not take long before we see dark orbs ricocheting all over and we see Jack fighting two dark warriors while running toward Sora and I. He finally reached us out of breath with keyblade in hand.

"They were both too hard to take on at the same time," he explained while panting "I had to call for help." Just then, the two enemies became visible and ran toward us three. We, in turn started running though Frontierland into Fantasyland. In front of the New Fantasyland entrance was Shane with three dark warriors. He too spotted the three of us, but was a little occupied, so in order to shake them off, he cast Mine Shield on the enemies and joined the three of us and ran with us into Tomorrowland; where the third orb was fired. In Tomorrowland, Adrian was found with two more dark warriors who overwhelmed him so much, his karate skills were not enough. He just ran to us while casting Triple Firaga behind his shoulders at them and we fled to Main Street.

We found ourselves in the area in front of Cinderella Castle between the plaza circle and the castle stage and looked around for the enemies. All was still for that moment and Kingdom Hearts was still visible, but not as luminous and clear due to the power of the sun. Suddenly, dark corridors appeared around us and our enemies surrounded us. They all wore dark armor and held keyblade in hand. Nick was among them and he wore his armor, but remained unmasked. I wore regular clothes as did Shane and Jack, so with my magic, I changed our clothes to Ventus's in order to be ready.

"My vengeance is not the only concern I have in mind." Nick said and then a dark corridor appeared on the stage and I saw him: Master Xehanort; he showed up with Vanitas next to him. He chuckled in his known, infamous way and looked like he did in the CGI scenes.

"Master Xehanort?!" I shouted "But how?" My best friends turned around and they gasped and shock was written on their faces as they saw him.

"It is quite simple my boy," he said "this world is another star in the Realm of Light, separated like the rest of them. It is merely another world I will be able to oversee after I obtain my prize. In order for me to reach my goal, I must eliminate all possible obstacles." Vanitas then pointed at us as a way to order the thirteen that surround us to destroy us. I summon my armor like Ventus does and Shane and Jack follow suit. Adrian and Sora don't have such armor, but get ready nonetheless. Suddenly in a flash of light, Mickey, Riku, Kairi, and five other keyblade warriors of light appear in fighting stances.

"Nice to see you here Mickey, Riku, and Kairi." I say and they nod.

"I had a feeling darkness was sneaking up on my best friend and allies," Riku replied. He looked and sounded like he did in the end of Dream Drop Distance, but put into CGI as did Kairi, and Mickey. Then, both sides charged toward each other and fighting began as keyblades were locked in combat. It got to the point where the sky grew darker and people were forced to flee the park. Kingdom Hearts was becoming covered by clouds like the sun on a cloudy day except the clouds were dark greyish-black colored. Park security actually contained us in the park instead of calling the National Guard which said enough of itself. To be precise, it seems that somehow someway, Walt Disney World along with the Walt Disney Company both knew battles like this would happen and already knew the Kingdom Hearts universe was real. This was the first battle of a coming bigger conflict.

Chapter 12: Secrets of an Unknown Past      I fought a dark warrior who was extremely hard, Jack was fighting his counterpart, and everyone else also fought other dark warriors. I figured this would be like before when I defeated Vanitas in Epcot and at school. I quickly realized that it was not like that as this foe struck me across the face and then kicked me in the side. That made my mood go sour and I fake-jump back kicked him in the face and sent him back a couple yards to get him off me.      "There is only one martial artist," I said, "and that's me!" Then, I charged at the enemy of mine to put pressure on him. He was difficult and I had to somehow end it. He swung his keyblade at my head and I ducked, turned around, and stabbed him right in the middle of his body. I hold still for a moment and am stunned at the sight. The foe is bent over my Star Seeker frozen in place. I finally pull my keyblade out him and he falls to the ground while putting the blade of his keyblade into the street pavement.

I immediately had a flash of the Keyblade Graveyard and saw this key among many, but only for a moment. When I come to, I look at my keyblade and see that half of the blade along with half of the crescent moon and star on the blade were covered in blood stains, and large ones. Now I am sensitive and I felt lightheaded and woozy, but the sound of a blast of wind behind me forced me to turn around and see Jack and Shane fighting two dark warriors. They looked as though they were struggling; Jack more than Shane, so I decided that Jack's battle took precedence over Shane for that moment. Jack was fighting his counterpart Nick and Nick was forcing Jack back in some sort of retreat. I wanted to get Nick off of Jack's case so that way, the two of us could help Shane with his pain in the neck issue. Then it came to me, the only way to turned the tide is to start using high powered, rapid fire attacks and I knew just the one.      "Take this!" I shout and perform Lightbloom. The light orbs charge toward Nick and start hitting him over and over just like the when Aqua uses it against Terra-Xehanort in Birth by Sleep. Jack sees the orbs hitting Nick and looks at me performing the attack. He moves off to the side a little to allow clear aim. Nick was knocked away so much toward Tomorrowland, it gave Jack and I time to help Shane. He was just pushed back and put on a retreat, but regained balance and charged back. At a short skirmish, Shane disarms the opponent's guard by forcing his arms to be raised and exposing his abdomen and chest. That was Jack's and my cue and when rushed to finish the enemy off. Shane pointed his Fenrir at the center of the body and began to thrust as Jack and I rushed to stab. All three of our blades stabbed the foe at the same time and impaled the dark warrior. His scream of agony sent chills up my spine and made my blood curtle. After half an hour, six darknesses including Nick fled in dark corridors and seven were killed. Unfortunately, two lights were killed, but Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Mickey were alright. I turned to see Master Xehanort and his face was one of disappointment and strangely enough, some fear.     "It cannot be;" he said "it is not possible. You are becoming more like the ancient warrior. His blood runs through you. Your two friends too possess ancient blood within them. Very well, I will not concern myself over this and will simply guide you toward your destiny." He then disappeared along with Vanitas into a dark corridor. I stared at the place where Master Xehanort was and is thought about what he just said about me. Ancient blood? You mean to tell me that I am descended from a powerful keyblade warrior? My friends are also descendants as well? I had to put it off to the side for the moment and be concerned with everyone else.      "Thank you Riku, Kairi, and Mickey." I said.      "No problem." Riku replied "I had a feeling that Sora was in trouble and I figured he would make new friends. I'm now starting to lose count as to how many he has made."      "Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" Sora protested and we all laughed some.      "It was not only what I sensed though," Riku continued "I went to Master Yen Sid for confirmation and he showed me this battle and told me to bring Kairi and Mickey with me along. The five other keyblade wielders were sent on Master Yen Sid's orders." I turned to the three of them that are left and they put their fists to their hearts and nodded in a salute to me in which I nodded back.      "Well fellas, I think we should get going," said Mickey "Don't worry Ben, as long as you hold Jack, Shane, and Adrian close to your heart, you will overcome any darkness." I nodded and then Mickey took out his star shard and they all flew out of this world in an orb of light went to another world. Sora was left with Adrian, Shane, Jack, and I. Meanwhile, the sky brightened up and Kingdom Hearts became visible again along with the sun. The park soon started filling up again with rather cautious guests. The guests were still fearful of a battle like the one that just happened, but park security and cast members assured that all is well and the Magic Kingdom became bustling again.      "Well, I guess I better be going too," said Sora. I gave him a hug and he returned it too.      "Thank you so much for helping us," I said to him.      "We're friends; it's what we do," he replied and then the Gummi Ship landed nearby and the door opened showing Donald and Goofy inside. They looked like themselves in the CGI cutscenes. Sora entered the ship and then departed for another world. I turned to my three friends and addressed them.      "It looks like we need to visit other worlds," I said.      "I agree." Adrian replied "I am heading to Radiant Garden to check how bad it is there. You guys can go on without me." We bade him farewell, then he opened a light corridor, and departed. The three of us were left alone.      "Hey Ben," said Shane "did you notice what Master Xehanort said about us? How he said that there is 'ancient blood' within us?"      "Yeah I noticed that too," Jack said.      "I thought about it as well and I think we could possibly be descendants of keyblade bearers," I replied "but we should go to Yen Sid and see if he knows." We unclothed ourselves from our armor at last and I opened a light corridor for us and we entered it. We came out in Mysterious Tower. It looked exactly like the games except for with CGI. We entered through the doors and walked up the stairs to his office. He sat as his desk with eyes closed in meditation. We walked up to in front of his desk and waited. He opened his eyes and looked at the three of us.      "I welcome you all here Jack, Shane, and Benjamin, he said "I have been expecting you three to arrive for some time now." I greeted him and then went through everything that has happened over the past six months from the end of my trip to Walt Disney World to now. I even went through the battle we just fought. Yen Sid stroked his beard and contemplated what I have relayed to him.      "So his actions are already affecting your world." he said "Originally, your world never had any contact with the rest of the Realm of Light. Now, that has changed because of Master Xehanort's ambitions and interference."      "Master Yen Sid," I began "Master Xehanort has said something at the end of the latest battle in Magic Kingdom. He said that ancient blood runs in our veins. We assume that this means we are descendants of ancient keyblade wielders." When he heard this, an impression of concern was written on his face. Then, he continued to think, this time with his head bowed and eyes closed like before. He opened them and looked at us.      "Keyblade wielders of old traveled to many worlds in great frequency," he said "your world possessed value they knew not of, but felt its unique heart. From what I understand, your world was like many of the worlds contained onto one. Earth as I understand was on its own as it function with no interruption. It was spared the darkness of the Keyblade War that threatened the light's demise. The keyblade warriors there willed Earth to be separated from the rest of the Realm of Light to save it from darkness and so they pushed Earth away from the rest of the worlds and assimilated into history. They willed for such a pure heart to remain untouched and pure. Now Master Xehanort has discovered your planet and once again has brought it back into the Realm of Light." All of this information was making my mind race.      "So how do we learn who we really are?" Shane asked.      "You must begin with the worlds in the Realm of Light," he said.      "Where do we begin? There are so many out there. Which one do you suggest we start with?" Jack asked. Yen Sid took a deep breath in and out and finally said it.      "The Keyblade Graveyard," he answered. At the sound of the name, a chill ran up my spine.

Wow, so Earth was pushed away from the Realm Of Light in order to be saved from The Keyblade War!  I really loved Yen Sid's explanation of things, you nailed his personality perfectly, especially the way he speaks!  Good lord, but now Ben, Jack, Shane and Adrian have found out that they are possibly descendants from ancient Keyblade Bearers!  I want to know more!!!! :D

Chapter 13: Hidden Truths      I was so stunned at what came from Yen Sid's lips. The Keyblade Graveyard? Why the place where many have explored, but never returned?      "I beg your pardon?" I asked.      "Yes, you must start there. It is supposedly where everything we know began to be. If you three do possess ancient blood, then you must start there."      "Thank you Master Yen Sid." I said, then I turned to Shane and Jack. "Could you guys please step out for a moment? I need to speak to Yen Sid alone."      "Of course. If you need us, we're right outside," jack replied and they both exited the office leaving me with Yen Sid.      "Yen Sid, I have something I need to show you and I would like your opinion on it," I said and with a wave of my hand, my notebook appeared in my hand. It contains all of my theories and ideas on the mysteries of the Kingdom Hearts universe. Well, it was all in fun until I learned it was all real.      "This notebook of mine contains all of my ideas and theories on the mysteries that you are very familiar with and probably not familiar with," I said. Yen Sid nodded and I gave him the notebook. He opened it and began to read what I have written. As I observe him read, his expression remains the same with every turn of the page. Finally, after about twenty minutes, he closes the book and hands it back to me and I in turn flick my wrist and the notebook disappears.      "You seem to understand more about the Realm of Light than even I have understood. You have written things that even I have not learned," he said. I felt shocked and honored at his statement. I merely wrote these for my own gratification and yet, it turns out that I have written facts and not only that, I educated Yen Sid! I have written about what I have thought is the history of the World (Realm of Light), the mysteries of the spirit, certain worlds, the Keyblade, Kingdom Hearts and its counterpart, Ventus's, Terra's, and Aqua's predecessors, and so many other things. I never would have imagined I was writing about what Yen Sid has not learned.      "I thank you for your complement, but there are other things that are on my mind." I said and then I went to a window and gazed out to the horizon.      "I have waited too long. I have waited too long for Ventus, Terra, and Aqua to return. It has been a long overdue endeavor and more importantly, it has been too long to tell Sora outright who he needs to save and where he obtains his power," I said to Yen Sid while looking out.      "Wait not much longer, for destiny has begun to guide Sora." He replied "You see, Sora has already begun to do all you have told me. He has already started to save them. Your battle in your world was nothing more than practice for him when the time comes to battle the thirteen darknesses. Worry not, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua will return." I went over to his desk once he finished and felt overjoyed at his statement."Thank you master." I said and he smiled and nodded. I then exited the office and went to Shane and Jack who were waiting for me outside and we went through a light portal to the Keyblade Graveyard. Yen Sid looked at the door that I went out of."What is this power that I sense in you?" He wondered "it is ancient in origin and unlike anything I have felt before. Is this what Xehanort felt?"--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------      Master Xehanort and the other darknesses sat in around in their respected seats in the Castle That Never Was. They discussed the current standing of things.      "So, the kid's become a full fledged Keyblade wielder eh?" said Xigbar "Huh, another one like the rest of them."      "What's interesting is the power that dwells writhin him." replied Xemnas "his heart is also strong enough to contain such power as well. Quite a gift."      "Humph, as if. This kid is no different than Sora; the only reason Sora made it out of our grasp was because Axel and the rest of those morons interfered. This one will be no different."      "Quite the contrary," said Master Xehanort "his heart is much stronger than any heart I have felt before. Ancient blood runs within him and an ancient power from old resides in his heart."      "What do you suggest to be done in order to remove him and his friends from the picture?" asked Saix. Master Xehanort thinks, then smiles maniacally.       "We let destiny send one into the dark realm, turn ones heart to darkness, become a bearer of my heart, and destroy another one of them."--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------      The three of us stepped out from the corridor into the Keyblade Graveyard Seat of War. The landscape was exactly like it was in Birth by Sleep, but in CGI. The sky was darker because of the battle in Birth by Sleep. Shane and Jack looked around in awe while I looked around with determination.      "Welcome to the Keyblade Graveyard," I said. Shane and Jack were silent for a while then finally spoke.      "Wow... it's so huge. Where do we begin our search?" asked Shane.      "We begin with the battlefield where the Keyblade War was fought." I replied and we went through the route Ven, Terra, and Aqua took from the Seat of War to the cemetery. When we got there, it looked as it did in the end of Birth by Sleep. Keyblades were all over the place sticking out of the ground, the mountain was visible and noticeable, and the sky was almost pitch black. My friends could not believe the sight.      "As you know, what you see was from the battle with Master Xehanort the first time around." I said to them and we continued to walk. We went through all and walked through the area where the three masters fought Xehanort. Then, we went deeper into the world trying to see if there is anything that gives us a clue to our ancestry. The trek was long, but finally after walking for a long time, we come across a cave in the midst of hills and canyons. We go inside to see what could be found; I summon my Keyblade and make it flow with light so we could see. After walking some, we find writing on the walls written in what looked like a combination of Greek, Chinese, and Egyptian hieroglyphics. It was fascinating and yet, I could read it. Why? I don't know and it was the same with my friends. There were two lines of writing on the wall that I found and they stretched down the wall by a yard. Then, it transferred onto the other wall and kept going. This time, pictures were on the wall. They were drawn in an Egyptian hieroglyphic style, but also in a way that was unknown to me.      "Hey Ben, this looks like you," said Jack. I look and it is true, it does look like me. There were three other pictures further down the wall with writing beside them.      "Hey guys, these look like both of you and the last looks like Adrian," I said. We kept going and finally came to an open room that looked like a hidden chapel. There were four statues of the same pictures in four corners of the room. We saw what looked like a mural of Kingdom Hearts straight in front of us on the wall as we entered. There was a table in front of that mural that had writing on the side and slots like keyholes.      "Guys, I think this place is a chapel set up for our ancestors and became preserved for us," I said as I looked around in awe.

Chapter 14: What Fate Has In Store      We looked around the room for a while and observed it all. The three walls that did not have the mural on them were covered with writing like before. They too had pictures on them in the same style. We were busy looking around when a familiar voice came from the entrance.      "Wow, this place is amazing. I can't believe you found it," it said. I turn around and find Adrian there in awe like the rest of us. I run to him and embrace him and he embraces me back.      "Oh my goodness! I am so happy you are alright!" I cried with joy "What did you find in Radiant Garden?"      "Nothing actually," he replied "only some heartless and plenty of Vanitas's Unversed. They were not an issue and I blew through all of them. Enough about me, this is more important." He too looked around at the walls and studied the writing and pictures. He was also able to read the writing on the walls and, like the rest of us, did not understand why. I in turn looked on the walls around the statue of myself. The pictures and writing told a story about what appeared to be my ancestor that looked exactly like me. The pictures were at first light in content, but then grew darker. I read the writing and goosebumps ran up and down my back and entire body. I had to keep quiet as I read the writing and it was dark in content. It went as follows: "Great and powerful was he that held a blade of hidden power and potential. A prominent member of Leopardos; an example was set and a standard established through him. The leader held great pride in him as hope for the union and of the Light. Darkness feared his presence and warriors of the darkness won not over him. His skill was unlike many, power was great, yet his humility was first in place of all. He did all in his power to fight back the dark power hat lurked in many places and attempted to curb the approaching of the dark day."

"That dark day came too soon as the War erupted. Many from all corners of the realm gathered in one world and fought each other for the Light. Light was pitted against darkness, yet what was to be did not come to pass. Darkness prevailed and light expired and all the World perished. He too fell to the same end as he fell to darkness; lost in the depths of shadow." Reading all of this made me totter and I felt rather light headed and sat down. I could not believe that such a fate was in store for me. The pictures next to and in the midst of the writing first showed me (my ancestor) as a grand and powerful warrior. Later on, it showed the Keyblade War and a me fighting and then darkness overtaking me and then I am falling into the dark pit never to surface again. I feared for everyone else's possible dates as mine was ugly. Adrian noticed my state and ran to me.       "Ben! Ben! Are you alright?!" He asked in worry.       "For now I am, but not in the future," I replied "because of this." I then showed him the writing and pictures on the wall. "I am to fall to darkness because I possess my ancestor's blood." Adrian was stunned and almost had a look like he had been socked in the stomach.       "I can't give you much comfort," he replied "because this is what I have in store for my fate." He then showed me the portion of the wall near his statue, which is on the opposite side of the room closer to the mural, that had writing near pictures of him. His fate is just as ugly as I read it. It reads: "Swift like the wind, strong like the earth, and agile like the water. He holds skill never seen before. His style and power are unknown and cannot be copied by anyone else. The leader found favor in him and told him to lead the union of Vulpes once he the leader passes."

"The leader shared the secret of the Book of Prophecies with him and entrusted him to protect the book when the time was right. That time did not come as a dark lord wished to obtain more apprentices for his glory. The Great War came and a piece of that dark lord's heart entered him forcing him to submit to darkness and perish." This scared me and almost put me in tears; the guy that I have known for many years, that has been a brother of mine, will become one of them: a Xehanort. The pictures only added insult to injury as they first showed him as powerful and possessing the fighting skills of Ven, Terra, and Aqua combined. Then it shows him donned as the next leader of Vulpes. Then, it shows a piece of a dark heart entering him and he became one of a dark lord's minions. I had to see Jack's and Shane's prophecies on the other side of the room. I went to Shane first as his prophecy and statue were on the side of the entrance. He merely looked and did not move as his fate was dark like mine. The prophecy read: "He possessed a gift like few others. It was said his gift was the only one yet bestowed. His gift was fighting back against the blackest of darkness. Many a time, other members of Unicornis faced such black nights, but he came in as a rising sun lighting up their way. Darkness almost destroyed many members and worlds, but he possessed light that pierced the shell and broke through. His compassion won him great praise from the leader and the leader makes him second in command of Unicornis."

"As long as his light burned bright, it was a beacon for all of Unicornis. Alas, the Great War came and darkness entered his heart. Not of his own bidding, but of the bidding of the spreading darkness. His heart turned black and hope was lost as he became a pawn of the dark." Like before, this also had pictures of Shane's fate. It showed greatness at first, then later on, it showed a black covering of darkness and him turning against light. Jack was the last one and his fate was dark as well, but also gory. The prophecy was opposite of Shane on the side closer to the mural. It read: "He held his Keyblade like no other and fought in a fashion unseen before. No one knew how to defeat him and he never lost in combat. The leader of Anguis saw a bright future for him and planned for him to obtain great glory and honor with the defeat of darkness. Yet, the war came and his future was snuffed out. As he fought dark warriors, he began to struggle and soon, darkness pierced him through and he was destroyed by the vast amount of dark power that struck him. Death was not kind to him as it destroyed his body, heart, and soul all at once." All of this shocked us all and we all sat around for a bit trying to contemplate everything. It was really hard to do so and it was overwhelming.

"There must be a way to fight against it or there are more pieces that we have not yet discovered," I said.      "Ben, you realize that we all have doom written in our future right? We can't change that," Adrian replied.      "Well, we won't know unless..." Shane said. Then he looked at the table in front of the mural and looked at the four keyholes that are on the front of it.      "Oh yeah! We did not see what happens when we unlock those." Jack said. We got up and walked in front of the altar and each of us lined up with a keyhole. Then, we summoned our keyblades and pointed them at the holes. A beam of light from each tip was shot into the holes unlocking them and like a scene from the games, light grew and covered everything blinding us for a while. When it all cleared, we found ourselves in a town plaza. It was interesting and I did not recognize it at first. Then it hit me.      "Guys, we are in Daybreak Town!" I said and the three of them could not believe it. We look around and see a bit of a crowd not paying attention to us as if we did not exist and walk by on their business. I look around and see something that I could not believe.      "Guys! Look over there!" I shout and point to near the fountain in the center; there is a group of guys, but something was familiar.      "Those four guys there; that's us!" I said with excitement and my friends gasp and have stunned looks on their faces as we see our ancestors... WHO LOOK EXACTLY LIKE US!!!!!!!      "Jack, it's a good idea you mentioned the keyholes because we are seeing the past of our ancestors," I said.

Wow, this was an amazing chapter!  I love how you detailed the fate that befell the quartet's ancestors!  You handled that perfectly!  The attention to detail and history was well done, and I loved how you used the Unions from Kingdom Hearts X!  Wow, this is very interesting!  Now the group of friends have encountered their ancestors! I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next!

And by the way, you're just 10 views from getting 1000 views on your story!  Congrats on that, man! :D

Sorry for such a delay. I was in Walt Disney World last week and had a blast! Here is the next chapter.Chapter 15: Ancient History      We see the four guys sit on the edge of the fountain and talk with each other. They are smiling and appear to be having a good time. We cannot tell what is being said because of the surrounding noise, but when we get closer to them, they are speaking in a language that I have never heard of before. It sounds as though it is a combination of all the languages on earth. The clothing on them was fascinating and the coolest I have ever seen. My ancestor, who looks exactly like me, had some hair spiked in the front, which is something I usually did not do unless it was for formal occasions. He was ripped just like I was, but not ridiculously large. He wore pants of a black and white mix pattern and were shaped like Terra's, but we're not as thick and could sway a bit in the wind. He wore a belly shirt that showed his eight pack abdomen with a short sleeved jacket over it. The shirt had a combination of Ventus's, Terra's, and Sora's KH3D shirt features.

The X had a combination of black and white on it and the rest of the shirt had Ventus's and Terra mixed features. The jacket was short sleeves and had the colors of Ventus's, but also of Sora's Wisdom form. It had a coattail that went down to the thighs, but half way down. He wore fingerless gloves that were black on the left with a white X and white on the right with a black X. His shoes were the same. Jack's ancestor had clothes like Ventus's, but he color were like Sora's KH3 outfit mixed with his Master form. Shane's ancestor wore mostly white mixed with red here and there. The lower part of his pants were grey, but it transitioned from white to grey going down. The shoes were red mixed with white here and there. He wore a sleeveless jacket and shirt and wore gloves with the pattern of the clothes on the right and the pattern of the shoes on the left. Adrian's ancestor wore a mixture of red, blue, and green; all of Ventus's, Terra's, and Aqua's colors. He wore all the same pieces of clothing except the shirts sleeves came down to his elbows. the colors blended and mixed and put in patterns very strange and wild. The aspects of the Foretellers' clothes were all on his clothes.

Adrian, Jack, Shane and I watched them in silent fascination as they spoke to each other; all of them smiling and having a good time. Then, light surrounds us blinding everything out. After the light recedes, we see them talking to three people: two guys and a girl; they look similar to Ventus, Terra, and Aqua as they had similar heights, hair colors, clothing, and attitudes. Finally, when the three summoned their keyblades, what I saw shocked me. The shortest one that looks like Ventus summons the Wayward Wind, the tallest one that looks like Terra summons Ends of the Earth, and the medium height one that looks like Aqua summons Stormfall. They four ancestors and three masters were talking to each other in a friendly way like they were family. I realized immediately who the three were.      "Hey! Do you three see the three masters talking to our ancestors?" I asked my friends while pointing them out. They each nod while still watching the seven, "Those three are Ventus's, Terra's, and Aqua's predecessors! They are Tachytito, Dynami, and Mageia. As Ventus, Terra, and Aqua mean 'wind, earth, and water' respectively, the three names I just said mean 'speed, strength, and magic' respectively. I think you can tell why and who is who." Their eyes grew wide and they awed at the fact as they listened. Just then, our ancestors summoned their keyblades. They looked unlike anything I have ever seen before in the games. My ancestor's looked like a mix of all of the Keyblade Graveyard keyblade designs combined with black and white features. The design description is a little misleading because the key is so authentic an unlike anything ever seen; not even the graveyard keys look anything like it, but when they are combined, they look somewhat similar. Shane's ancestor's keyblade was white mixed with blue and red (no, not like the U.S. flag). It had a design that appeared to be a half way point between Sora's KH3 keyblade and my Star Seeker, but with sharper lines and points. Jack's ancestor's keyblade was a reverse grip keyblade. It looked like a combination of Lost Memory and Ultima Weapon from KH3D. Adrian's ancestor's keyblade looked like Oblivion, Oathkeeper, and the Keyblade of Heart combined. I learned the names of each rather quickly, but how I did I did not know; it just came to me.

"I know the names of our ancestor's Keyblades!" I said to my friends "Shane, yours is Light's Redemption. Jack, yours is Unbound Power. Adrian, yours is Elemental Master. Mine is-." I cut off. A chill went up my spine when I realized my ancestor's keyblade name.      "What? What's yours named?" Adrian asked.      "Ultimate Apocalypse." I say with unease and some fear. All my friends are stunned at the sound of the name; as a picture is worth a thousand words, so is a name and in this case, ten thousand words. There are also many reasons as to why a keyblade obtains such a name. For my friends, it's obvious. For me, it is a chilling mystery; my ancestor's Keyblade could hold dangerous power that anyone could dream of. Of course my friends' ancestors' keys have immense power that is beyond imagination, but my ancestor's must have power that could be second to the X-blade. Anyway, I put that aside for the time being until I see Yen Sid again." Light surrounded us again and when it receded, I found myself in Radiant Garden, but without my friends.      "Well, I guess it is just me for my ancestor." I said and I saw him walking through the streets. When he came upon many heartless, he summoned his keyblade and fought them all. His skill and style made what I know out to be child's play. It was amazing and his attacks were unlike anything I have seen before. A little later, he was surrounded by five dark warriors who wore dark clothing with metal plating here and there. The battle commenced and I noticed he used some techniques that I have learned in martial arts. It was a bloody battle, but not a scratch was on him and all five warriors were killed. The scene morphed into members of Leopardos cheering for him as they gathered around him. Finally, the scene morphed into a dark one: the Keyblade War. I saw him fighting dark warrior after warrior, but what I noticed was darkness gathering around him and surrounding him. Suddenly, he is falling into darkness like Ventus was falling to his heart station in the beginning of Birth by Sleep. Chills and fear went up and down my body as I saw my ancestor fall and the scene around me becomes pitch black. Light surrounded me and I found myself back in the chapel with my friends standing in the positions we had when we activated the keyholes. All of us had fear written on our faces and sweating bullets from witnessing the horror that spelled out our fates.

Chapter 16: Each Fate Comes Together      None of us spoke for a while; we were all too scared from what we just saw. Even Adrian, who I have known to have courage greater than most and see things as problems that can be solved with not much emotion, was frozen in place with fear. I finally managed to turn my face to my friends and speak, but with much effort.      "How bad were your fates? Could I possibly see them too?" I asked them.Without a word being spoken and still having the same expression as well as not look at me, Shane first lifted his arm toward me, so I could touch the top of his hand and see what he saw. I did so and immediately, light enveloped me and I was taken to a world. This time it was Twilight Town and I saw his ancestor walking through the street alone while there were people who were walking by. He had eyes looking around not only at the town and people, but in case of any enemies attacking. This Twilight Town was different in the fact the much of what is seen in the games was not present. There was no store in the center of town and the clock tower was a tower used as a government building. There was no clock on it and it the bells were non existent. Shane's ancestor walked up to the top of the tower and relaxed there like Roxas, Xion, and Axel did, except was alone.      The scene morphed into him in the woods near the mansion looking around, but with a wary look. He appeared to feel a dark presence in the area. Four dark warriors ambushed him from the trees and attacked him. He fought them for a while, but he did not obtain a scratch as he killed all of the Warriors. Suddenly, he heard from where the mansion was a scream for help. He immediately ran to the mansion and found a fellow member of Unicornis fighting two dark warriors who were overcoming him and starting to inject darkness in him so he could fall to it. Shane's ancestor summoned his keyblade again and jumped in and fought the darkness being injected into his fellow member by injecting him with light and the two dark foes. The battle was not long and he killed both of them.      The scene morphs into a crowd of Unicornis members cheering for him and the leader donning him second in command of the Union. The scene finally morphs into the Keyblade War. He is fighting dark warriors consistently without taking a break. Finally when he does, darkness surrounds him and like Ryuga falling to the dark power in Beyblade Metal Fusion, I see the same scene with some changes in setting, character, and purpose. Shane's ancestor screams in pain as dark power enters into him and takes him over. His eyes show fear and are wide open; his scream made my hair stand up on end. I almost turned away at the sight. Meanwhile, his hair turns from dark blond (just like Shane's) to pitch black. His eyes go from hazel and green to yellow. His clothes turn black with purple; his keyblade follows suit. To sum it up, every feature on him turns dark. After such a transformation, he smiles and laughs maniacally and turns on his fellow members. He starts to fight them and eventually, the scene goes dark as the darkness of the war takes all.      Light envelopes me and I return back to the same position I was in the chapel. I had chills and a cold sweat going. It had me shaking some to see such horror in store for Shane. Still, I had to see what Jack and Adrian were like.      "Adrian, could I see yours?" I asked him and he looked at me with a face of warning and great concern on the edge of fear.      "Are you sure you want to? I warn you it looks very graphic. Probably worse than what you just saw recently," he warned. I nodded and he held out his hand like Shane did. I put my hand on his and I was taken to Daybreak Town again. Adrian's ancestor was looking around as though he were patrolling like a policeman. He talked with the locals and they enjoyed his company. After that, he was surrounded by six dark foes. He summoned his keyblade and charged at one of them using him as a shield and obstruction against the others. His style was Ven, Terra, and Aqua mixed together. This battle was brief and every enemy was killed around the exact same time.      The scene morphed into the leader of Vulpeus speaking in front of members of the Union and donning Adrian's ancestor as the next leader. A little later, it shows him speaking with the leader alone as the leader speaks to him about being the head of Vulpeus and the role one has. The leader shared the secret of the Book of Prophecy and told him the story of how it came to be.The scene changed into the Keyblade War and the ancestor was like everyone else: fighting a dark warrior. He finally came across a person in a black coat. It was the sixth apprentice! I read a dark lord wanted minions for his glory, but I did not realize that it referred to the sixth apprentice. He summoned his keyblade a did what Master Xehanort did in KH3D. The difference this time, is the apprentice is successful and the ancestor looks stunned and stares into space. Then, his eyes turn yellow from brown and he becomes loyal to the apprentice. Darkness eventually overtakes everything and all goes black.      Light does the same thing again and I am back in the chapel. At this point, I am starting to lose it and become choked up with emotion from the sights and sounds. All that's left is Jack's vision. Before I could ask, he already had his arm lifted waiting for me.      "I need you to see it," he said. I nodded and put my hand on his. Once again, I am taken to a world. This time, I find myself in the outer parts of Daybreak Town. I saw Jack's ancestor talking with Tachytito, Dynami, and Mageia about what his friends were doing and where they were. Heartless showed up around them in dozens as they spoke and so all of them fought the crowd. Suddenly, dark warriors took each predecessor hostage and held a keyblade to each of their throats while demanding surrender. The ancestor, at the speed of light, went around and set the predecessors free from their grasp and they all fought the dark foes. He held his key reverse grip like Tachytito, yet fought slightly, yet noticeably different, from Tachytito.      The scene changed into the ancestor talking with the leader one on one. The leader of Anguis told him a great future was in store for him once the darkness was taken down. Members of Anguis would pass by afterwards and salute him in a bow, genuflect, or fist over heart and nod like a roman.      The scene finally changed to the Keyblade War. Jack's ancestor was fighting multiple warriors, but was struggling. Darkness was fired from the foes' keyblades and kept on striking him. It did not take him down, but he was in pain and fired Mega Flare to get rid of them. What that did was obliterate them instead because it was so powerful. Dark power was starting to strike him over and over and he was eventually covered on the exterior with it. Soon, he looked like a pitch black figure and nothing more. Suddenly, the darkness exploded with the ancestor screaming a scream I couldn't even imagine in the worst nightmare in history and blood was scattered everywhere. Nothing was left in that spot once the scene ended. After the dark cover of everything, light took me back to the chapel. I fell to the ground and began to weep heavily. I could not do it. Even as I changed my personality to match Ryuga, this was something I just could not keep stone faced with. It was all to horrifying to witness. My friends gathered around me and comforted me; Jack even hugged me and put his head on my shoulder. I eventually pulled myself together and stood up.      "We have to see Yen Sid now," I croaked. I opened a light corridor and we all walked through and ended up in the Mysterious Tower. We walked up to Yen Sid's office and found him looking out his window standing up with hands behind his back. He turned around and then went to his desk and sat down.      "It seems you found much more than you were looking for," he said as he could tell we just had been traumatized. We all told what we found and what we saw; each of us telling our own piece. He nodded and listened and when we finished, he closed his eyes and thought about it all.      "I saw it all," he said. "I saw all of your fates as you journeyed through each of your own. It horrified and saddened me to see what will become of each of you."      "Is there a way to change it or defy it all?" Shane asked.      "I'm afraid I do not have the answer. You must find it yourselves and that requires you to return to earth to search again," he replied. We thanked him and exited the tower. Outside, I realized where we could begin.      "Hey guys, I know a perfect place we could begin," I said.      "Is it in Walt Disney World again?" Jack asked.      "Nope, it's the other side of the world," I said. I got looks of confusion in return. Then, I clarified myself.      "Shaolin Temple," I said.

Chapter 17: Rebirth      Adrian knew what I mentioned was, but Shane and Jack did not. They did not practice martial arts like Adrian and I.      "Uh... what is this Shaolin Temple?" Shane asked.      "It's a temple built in ancient China." Adrian explained "It was where ancient masters went to train and practice the martial arts." Then he turned to me.      "Why would you think we should go-?" he started to say, but then cut himself off as he realized what I was thinking.      "Yes, that's exactly why." I said "There were ancient masters that trained there for thousands of years. Besides, what we see in ads and pictures is probably stuff they want the public to see. There probably is more than what meets the eye." The three of them nodded their heads in agreement as they looked at each other.      "I guess we will be special kinds of masters if we train there too," Jack said. I opened a light corridor and we went through it.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------      Vanitas walks to the edge of the Seat of War looking out over the horizon. He takes a deep breath and looks around.      "Finding him in this place will take forever." He said "I have no time to waste to find a pathetic needle in a stupid haystack." A kid walks next to him and looks out with him. He is about a head and a half taller than Vanitas.      "He thrashed you around and embarrassed me," he began "I'm going to let him have it when I find him. Maybe I'll take out his worthless friends once I finish him off."      "You're right about that Ronnie," Vanitas replied "I think the loser needs to be taught some manners and to know his place."------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------      The four of us end up at the bottom of stone stairs leading up to a temple. We came out at the base of Shaolin Temple and looked around at the mountains surrounding us. Then we walk up the stairs to enter the temple. Waiting at the top is an old Chinese master wearing a red and gold robe. He had a grey beard and hair around the sides of his head. He watched us walk up the stairs and as he was doing so, another master that looked a little younger came up to speak with him, but also became fascinated with our presence. The four of us stopped about seven steps away from the masters and looked at them back. After a moment of silence, I raised my hand, summoned my keyblade and held it in that position. My friends followed suit and we stood still for a moment looking at the masters. They looked at each other and then back at us. The older master motioned us to follow him while the younger motioned for us to precede him. We lowered our keys, unsummoned them, and followed the master. He led us first through the temple. It was fascinating the decor and the smell of incense.

We were led out a side entrance and were taken through some training grounds. We saw many people train with grace and peace while practicing techniques and exercises that I had no clue how they did. The master led us to a stone staircase around a corner that led up and around the higher part of the mountain and we climbed for a while. After about five minutes, we reached another part of the Shaolin Temple; a rather unknown part with few gaining access. As we reached the top, we heard chanting from monks. It sounded like the song Mendicant Priest by Uttara Kuru. We walk through the doors and see monks that are masters seated on mats, eyes closed and chanting in Chinese. We look up and in front of us directly is a mural with pictures of the four of our ancestors. We are awed at the sight and stare for a bit. The monks were chanting for our ancestors and it seems they have been honoring them because the smell of incense was heavy and we saw some of it burning in front of the mural and offerings placed before it.

The monks knew we were here as they opened their eyes and stood up. We in turn look around and nod, in which they bowed while still chanting. Then, they went back to their previous position and stopped chanting and meditate on our presence. The younger master that was behind us pointed out the older master leading us who motioned again to follow. We were lead around the back of the mural and exited out the back to an area about the size of a deck. There were four sets of staircases from left to right and they all lead in different directions. It appeared they led up to four different peaks of mountains.      "Well, it seems we have found four places each of us could practice," I said "so why don't we each get one." My friends agreed and we started to trek, but the old master stood in front of us and shook his head. We all halt and try to understand why no. The master then puts his hand to his heart and then points to each set while walking to the side.      "I think he means he wants us to feel which one each of us should go up," Jack suggested.      "It seems you're right, so I guess we let our hearts decide which ones each of us should go up," Shane replied. We looked at each one in silence as we tried to determine which one was right. I felt in my heart the farthest one to the left was right for me so I go up to the base and wait. Shane was the near one to the right, Adrian the farthest right and Jack the nearest left. We look at each other nod. Then, the master motions us to go forth and we do so. It was not a quick trip and I had to say, it was getting tough after fifteen minutes. It took me almost half an hour to reach the top of the mountain and found a little open area with a stone floor and stone walls three feet tall sitting amid a few small bushes. The surrounding scene from there was amazing and unbelievable. There clouds below because of the altitude.      "Well, it seems that this place will do for practicing," I said to myself and I began to practice all my attacks and spells. I stop in between and notice opposite the entrance to the sanctuary, there is a rectangular slot in a square stone. It catches my curiosity and I observe it. It has Chinese writing on the sides of it.      "I wonder..." I say in, well, wonder and I put my Star Seeker blade into the slot and then step back a little. Suddenly, light covers the stone and keyblade and it gets brighter. I shield my eyes and brace myself for what's coming. I open them and I am in a realm that is bright with light and with some color. It was no realm where there are earth like features, just and endless void of white light mixed with some color. I look around for a second trying to make sense of where I am. Then, in front of me, I see my ancestor in Daybreak Town talking to a kid that appeared to be about eleven years old. I did not know the face for it was not like anyone I knew who had an ancestor, but I could tell what his purpose was. The image had a border of white around it and it was a little hazy because of the light, but I could still see what was happening.

My ancestor smiled at him and spoke some things to him, but all was silent and I could not hear a sound. He then went on his knees, summoned his keyblade and appeared to offer it to him. I realized it was exactly like Terra passing down his keyblade to Riku. The young boy nodded and then grabbed the handle of the key and just stood there for a bit looking at it. Then he touched where his heart is. The scene morphs into him traveling to earth along with many other keyblade wielders and work to push earth from the Realm of Light. The images disappeared leaving me alone in the void. I look to my left and jump and see my ancestor looking straight at me! I felt everything freeze in me as I saw my ancestor stand before me. He looked at me warmly and smiled warmly.      "Fate does not have to be the be all end all," he said "it comes down to the individual whether they will have the final say or not. No one knows that secret. I decided that my last say would come when the time was right." I heard it all and did not move. My heart pounded hard enough that it could have pumped right out of my chest like the cartoons. Then, my ancestor started walking towards me and I could not walk anywhere my legs felt so heavy; I could only them drag them so slightly. Then, like Roxas in Re:coded, my ancestor entered into me.

I felt a strange feeling I never experienced before. It was great and yet powerful. My keyblade appeared in my hand even though I did not summon it. I look at myself and light starts covering my clothes, my hair, and my hands. It starts to dissipate from top to bottom. My hair changed into the spiked style, my shirt and jacket change into what my ancestor wore. Gloves appeared on my hands and were the same as his. My pants and shoes change to match my ancestor. Finally, my keyblade becomes covered in light and then changes. When it dissipates, my ancestor's keyblade shows up instead. Then, the light around me grows bright white and recedes and I find myself in the sanctuary. At first, I thought what I saw was just a dream and not real, but then I look at myself and see that I am wearing the clothes my ancestor wore and my hair was the same. I summoned my keyblade expecting the Star Seeker. What turns up in my hand is the Ultimate Apocalypse. I can't believe it and I am stunned and can't move from the spot and look to see if the stone is still there; it's gone. I finally muster enough strength to move and rush down the stairs desperate to tell my friends. We all come across each other at the bottom all with shocked faces. My friends' clothes and keys have changed along with me. I try to put it together and then it finally hits me. We are our ancestors now, and we have been reborn.

Chapter 18: True Purpose      The four of us looked at each other and just observed each other's clothing and keyblades without saying a word. We were shocked to where we couldn't speak. It was so amazing to see us become transformed and gain such a power. Or rather, an ancient power has been awakened from deep within. We did not speak for a while and just observed each other.      "What?... I don't..." Adrian managed to say, but that was all he could say.      "We're our... ancestors," Shane said.      "Yeah, we are," I said "so that means we now must act like them while being ourselves. We alone must manage to tame our great and ancient power and succeed in drawing out our keyblades' ultimate ability, and harness the true power that we gained by putting our very lives on the line to be the best we could be in our battles." I finished quoting Ryuga in a similar fashion because there is truth. I knew and my friends knew, and agreed by shaking their heads, that the only way we could fully use our newly found power, we had to put everything and more on the line to ensure we understand and can control our powers. I won't be an overnight task and must take time and some battles.      "Also, there were things that I saw and heard when I was in the sanctuary," I said.      "I'm guessing you saw your ancestor pass down their keyblade and then that successor came to earth and helped push the world away from the Realm of Light," Jack just spewed out at once. I was rather dumbstruck at the statement, but then he continued.      "I saw it as well. In fact, I think all of us saw it." he continued. Adrian and Shane agreed.      "If so, then I will say this with regards to... our fates." I said "My ancestor told me was fate is not everything; it comes down to whether the individual wants to go along with it or decides to hop off the train."      "Yeah, my ancestor told me that too," Shane replied and the rest followed suit.      "Well, I guess we can now go and do what we our supposed to do: fight the darkness," Jack said and we go to leave the area and see the old master standing by and smiling at us along with the younger master. Then, they go on their knees and bow to us. I walk up to the older master and raise him up and signal it wasn't necessary, but thanks. They in turn lead us through the sanctuary of the temple and we come across the monks chanting a different chant. They stop as we come around from behind the mural and look at us and rise from their mats. We go in front of the mural and stand in front of each image of our ancestors. The monks bow the same way the master did recently. The four of us signal for them to rise and then nod as a way of saying goodbye. They nod back and sit themselves on the mats and practice some tai chi to increase their spiritual power. Seeing us, they knew to follow our example of spirit since we are our ancestors reborn. Walking down the stairway was actually easy and I did not feel a thing from it; there's a sign right there that the new power is taking effect. After walking through the grounds where many people were training and, since they noticed us, giving us good fortune wishes from their tai chi breathes and moves, we cross through the temple and come to the doors where the master bows, but standing this time, and then goes into the temple. We nod and go down the stairs to the bottom. I couldn't help, but think of something about all of this. Something just did not make sense.      "You know what I don't understand guys?" I ask and pause for a moment "what I don't understand is how and why this leads up to us. How come we are the descendants and not anyone else."      "That's a good question that I don't know the answer to either," Adrian said. "There is another problem though: who could we ask and have the answer?"      "Perhaps you should ask someone who has the right resources from an archive," a voice said. We look to see and standing only five feet from us is none other than the one and only Bob Iger, CEO of the Walt Disney Company. We all were stunned to see such a famous man at a high position and who runs the most respected and famous companies in the world come to Shaolin Temple to see us.      "I have everything you need right in the Walt Disney Archives in California; everything is there kept hidden from public eyes," he said. "Come, I have a flight for you- oh wait that's right, you don't need a plane; you can create a corridor. Then I look forward to seeing you tomorrow." Then he smiled and walked down a path that would lead him to a taxi like ride to lead him to a train station. We were stunned at seeing him and what he said. To make sure we did not waste any time, Adrian opened a light corridor and we walked through it to the Walt Disney Archives.      The next day, Mr. Iger took us into the archives. We went where people have never been; a place only for high level people in the company. The halls were pretty poorly lit as we walked in the basement parts of the archives. The lights were mostly out with a few exceptions here and there. The halls were pretty ominous in appearance as if they were haunted just to scare any unwelcome undesirables showed up. It creeped us out a little, but not enough to make us skittish. We finally reach a room where there are many filing cabinets and boxes. There are also what appear to be ancient artifacts in these boxes. We look around while Mr. Iger addresses us.       "You might be wondering how I found you," he began "well that was not easy, but with help from these artifacts and getting confirmation from elders and scholars, it made things easier." He then pulled out a scroll and unraveled it on a table that sat in the middle of the room with six chairs around it. It was ancient Egyptian and had four people on it with hieroglyphics around the pictures; it was us. Then, he pulled out an ancient Chinese scroll, unrolled it and laid it out on the table; us once again. A tablet had Cuneiform and four pictures on it; us again. A Greek pot with Ancient Greek writing had the same result. Mr. Iger continued again with his explanation.      "Many archaeologists and scientists have been stunned at these findings and many more that depict the same thing over and over again." He continued "They could not explain the correlation and why they are. I used the hidden archives and collected these pieces and other pieces related to the four you see. There are many worlds out there and planet earth was one of many in the Realm of Light. However, this world was hidden for so long and history here operated as we study it today. Keyblade wielders eventually found this world and inhabited it. We know that before ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, human history was virtually vague and unknown. Not so with these artifacts. Your ancestors gave their successors their keyblade and asked for them to pass it down until it returns to them in their rebirth in the form of descendants. The successors complied and they came to planet Earth since they saw the Keyblade War approaching and help push the world away from the World and save it from destruction. Time went on and the two universes split apart at first slowly, but then the process sped up with the Keyblade War. The only shred of memory of the other universe is in these artifacts."      "Those successors blended into society and the power was lost for good as Earth cut itself off from the World and forgot it. The Keyblade wielders blended into society and the power of the Keyblade was lost. Once the Catholic Church established itself firmly in Europe and eventually around the world, people began to establish bloodlines and the keyblade's power began to recontruct itself again and now has began to appear in many hands as well as choose its abode."      "How does this affect you all? Well, you already had keyblades before and they were different; it chose you four already. However, those were just temporary before your true keyblades were to appear in hand. They were placeholders until you four were ready to become what you really were meant to be in the first place: your ancestors. Now you probably are wondering, what about the Disney theme parks? Well, Walt Disney knew that there were worlds out there besides our own. He told no one in public because it would have ruined his reputation and his finances. He created the characters that you know of today to show they exist and these are scenarios that they have been through; stories of their lives if you may. Then, he decided to bring all of them together as one and so he created Disneyland as a place to show these worlds existed. Realizing there were more, he planned Disney World before he died. We the company continued what he started and Roy, who was the only person who knew what Walt was doing, named it Walt Disney World after his younger brother and also to avoid creating a pattern. This company has created so many parks and continues to keep secret for as long as possible what we have discovered and what exists. Master Xehanort's actions have already began to not only affect these parks since they are the crossroads of the worlds, but has began to spill into society. The reason why that battle in Walt Disney World did not have the National Guard brought in was because we knew you four, Sora and his friends, and the few warriors Riku brought along would defeat that darkness."      So much information! I was stunned and nearly fell to the floor listening so I sat down as did my friends. The parks were made for entertainment in the public eye, but really was representations of the worlds and act as crossroads to beyond.

OH MY GOD, THIS WAS JUST INSANELY EPIC!  I loved how you made Bob Iger into a man who had been in the know of the Keyblade Wielders all along!  Makes me wish that his story of the Keyblade Wielders coming to Earth was a reality! X3  But wow, I really liked how you developed the history of Earth and The Realm Of Light! Really well done, I absolutely love how you mix elements from the games and real life!  Truly excellent!  NOW PLEASE GIVE ME MORE!!! :D

Chapter 19: Hope Satisfied   It was unbelievable learning how history was not exactly what I have learned it to be. It made me wonder about the Kingdom Hearts series and I questioned the story and the games purpose. Adrian apparently was also thinking the same thing and he asked Mr. Iger about the saga.   "So what does this mean for the Kingdom Hearts series?" He asked.   "Mere documentaries of events," Mr. Iger replied "Tetsuya Nomura was at the meeting between us and Square Enix. We took him aside after the meeting and began to explain what we have discovered and Walt Disney's suspicions. Turned out Mr. Nomura was told the stories about your ancestors and the history of Earth during the Keyblade War when he was a young boy. He researched Walt Disney and read deep into his beliefs and the parks' purpose to confirm whether the stories he was told were true. He has to say the things he says in interviews to avoid the derision that Walt would have suffered should he have told the public. Now, he has to create the new documentary of Kingdom Hearts 3 to tell the world that the greatest battle is nigh." What I have loved for years was a documentary of events that actually took place. Now that Kingdom Hearts 3 is near, so is everything that comes with it. Getting everything I have heard to sink in was not an easy task because my home is involved. To sum it all up, the series were documentaries, I and my friends are our ancestors that they have said they will return in this form, Walt Disney knew of the Realm of Light and created Disneyland and dreamed of Walt Disney World to represent the many worlds coming together as one which is what the United States is known as: "one coming forth from many".   "The only reason the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World has not been overtaken by darkness is because of the park guests," Mr. Iger continues "Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom was created to fight off Hades and his minions. He was put in charge to attack here while Maleficent and the rest of the villains take care of the Realm of Light. Guests think of this as an attraction, but thanks to Merlin's cooperation, we have developed an organization that recruits guests 365 days a year to battle the darkness that Hades tries to create. I must admit, the guests are good at fighting because it is constant and Hades struggles. While he struggles on that front, darkness attempts to infiltrate on the other side. That is where you keyblade wielders come in. So, this is what I want you to do: go back to Walt Disney World, all of you. Your job there is not done and the only park that has been cleaned up some is Magic Kingdom. The rest of the four have not been touched. I will make sure to watch and keep an eye for any activity in the park you are not aware of. Cast members will be notified and they will be your guardian angels."   "Mr. Iger, since you know all of this, then-" I began to say, but then he cut me off.   "Yes, I have become quite friendly with Yen Sid," he said "I have seen a light portal with his face in it and we have spoken. I have shown him the artifacts and he has told me about what he has learned through your journal, Ben. He did some research himself and learned more about the history of this world. He is caught up to speed. So, I wish you four luck in Walt Disney World; be careful and I am near through the cast members and your fifth pair of eyes." All of us thanked him and we are escorted by him to the outside of the archives. We are outside when he stops us again and tells us one last thing.   "Oh, one more thing," he says "the reason Walt Disney World has such priority in the eyes of darkness is because that place was Walt's last dream and we built up so much light in it. As the crossroads to worlds, darkness will tear it up and divide and destroy it to ruin that dream and destroy light. With that, Ben, you will go to Magic Kingdom, Shane, you will go to Epcot. Jack, you go to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Adrian, you go to Animal Kingdom. Once you're done, worlds will need your attention. Good luck." He nods and goes back inside.   "Alright guys, we'll see each other soon. Let's go kick some butt with our new power," Shane said. We wished each other well and opened our own corridors of light.I enter mine and come out at Magic Kingdom in Main Street. The sun was in the high noon position since I moved into the Eastern Time Zone from the morning of the Pacific Time Zone. I get my game face on and begin to walk up Main Street. I take a few steps and a horde of heartless that I have seen in the new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer show up. I summon Ultimate Apocalypse and take stance.   "Ugh, why must I be bothered already?" I say with disdain and disgust. Suddenly, light bullets come raining down on all of them and they disappear. Then, a boy lands in front of me in a ninja like stance. It was Sora wearing his new outfit! I was pretty sure that he was wearing the new clothes, but I wanted to wait until he turns around so I remained as expressionless and unsurprised as possible. He landed like he did when he battled Roxas in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. His keyblade was exactly like what I saw in the trailer too! He raised his head, stood up fully, and turned around. Yup! Exactly as I suspected! He was wearing the new clothes!   "Aaahhh!" We both shout as we see each other and jump back a little bit. I was shocked to be right and he was shocked to see me transformed.   "Ben? How did...? When...?" He stuttered. He did not know what to say. First, he meets me as some regular kid from planet Earth who discovered the Keyblade. Now, he meets me as my ancestor reborn and as a kid who just discovered ancient power that resided in him, has built muscle, and has a complete transformation of clothes and keyblade.   "Sora, I am my ancestor now." I said "I have learned who I am and have discovered an old power that has transformed me. It seems that I am not the only one who grew in power either." I referred to him and his clothing and his recent attack.   "I guess that makes us even," he replied.   "There's something you need to know about me Sora and the history of my planet," I added and I explained to him the fates of myself and the history of my world and the parks. Sora looked overwhelmed and just plopped onto the street in exasperation.   "Oh my gosh! This was a world that was separated and just brought back to the light!" He shouted "that explains why this place is not familiar to me." Then, he got up abruptly.   "You can't fall to darkness! You just can't! Your friends can't either!" He shouted in desperation. Then, he embraced me tightly and I felt him sob a little like when he found Riku. "You're fates are so cruel and horrible. I have met such great people such as yourselves and now you'll be taken away viciously. I won't let it happen! I just won't!" He continued to sob and it made me misty and I became choked up as well. I hugged him back and tried to keep it together. It was hard because Sora was such a mess and darn near close to crying altogether.   "Sora," I croaked and sniffed "I will do what I can to defy fate. I don't know if I can, but I will fight against it in any way I can." Sora let go and wiped the tears from his eyes and nodded. We went up Main Street and fought heartless at the Plaza around the statue of Mickey and Walt. Sora used the magic blaster I saw in the KH3 trailer, but that just knocked some larger heartless back and destroyed a few shadows.   "Clearly, you need to be shown how it's done," I said to him and then I tossed up my keyblade and a humongous cannon was created out of it just like Ultimate Cannon in BbS.   "Take this!" I shout and fire the cannon. It creates a huge blast and shockwave that knocks Sora over. The blast destroyed the heartless all at once including the large body armor heartless. Sora gets up laughing because of the power.   "Wow! That was amazing!" He cries in joy. My key shrinks back to normal and I look at it with some concern. That was not my ultimate attack and yet it was so powerful. What else can I do?   "Thanks." I say "Come on, let's finish Magic Kingdom." He nods and we purge the park. It was a two hour task, but all traces of darkness are gone. What disturbed me some was there were no dark warriors because they would roam around and attack from anywhere.   "Well, I am heading to Radiant Garden," I said.   "Cool. I'll go there to see Cid and the gang," he replied and I open a light corridor and we enter. We end up in the square of the city and part for our separate ways. I stay in the main square where Aqua fought Vanitas and Terra-Xehanort. Just then, more heartless appear and I begin to fight them. Another person comes in to help. I don't see who it is, but I am distracted and don't take a good look at him. Once the heartless are gone, I turn around to see the person. He looks at me and my heart flutters with excitement and joy and I gasp.   "VENTUS?!" I shout. He looks at me and smiles. He looks just like he did in Birth by Sleep and the Wayward Wind was exactly the same.   "Yeah, you're Ben. I've heard about you, but never expected you to look like this," he said. I drop my keyblade and hug him immediately. I am sobbing because I have waited for too long for Ventus, Terra, and Aqua, to be saved. My hope has been satisfied at Ven's presence.   "I have waited so long for you to be saved," I croak. Ventus is at first stunned, but then hugs me back.   "Sora returned my heart to my body, helped expel Master Xehanort from Terra, and brought Aqua back from the Realm of Darkness," he said "he really helped us to alleviate our sorrow."   "I am just so happy you three have been saved," I say.   "Awww... isn't that wonderful? Your friend saves more of you people. I already am disgusted to the point of vomiting," a sarcastic voice said to us.   "Maybe what you need is some payback as a medicine to soothe your stomach," another voice says. Ven and I let go of each other and turn to see none other than Vanitas and Ronnie. Ronnie though has changed, his clothes are black with purple and has a black aura around him. He has grown in power as well.

Chapter 20: A Stronger Villain   The four of us stared each other down for a bit as Ronnie's black aura dissipated. It really annoyed me to see him with the villain whom I despise terribly ever since I learned about him, his personality, and the chaos he wrought upon Ventus and Aqua.   "It took us hours before we realized you were not in the Keyblade Graveyard," he said. "Luckily, we took a wild guess which world you possibly might be in and lo and behold, karma came to us. How convenient for us." He then chuckled a little like Vanitas. That really ticked me off; not only has he held a grudge since I defeated him and then escape him, he has hunted me down like a bloodhound looking to make me taste his dark vengeance. To add insult to injury, he has brought the villain whom I terribly despise along for the ride. Ronnie smiled the way Vanitas does in that malicious way. Speaking of him, Ventus looked like he was going to kill someone soon as he stared down Vanitas with the look I have seen him use after he unfroze himself.   "Grrgghh! Vanitas! Why are you here?! How are you here?!" He demanded. Vanitas laughed some, but not in that maniac way that's recognizable.   "Well, well, well, long time no see Ventus," he said. "I have been dying to see you again. Did you really think that I would be brought down so easily? I will not go down and fold like a cheap tent, idiot. Now that I am back, I can repay you the same way you paid me." Ventus clearly did not understand what Vanitas is, so I explained to him.   "Ventus," I began, "when you were asleep, Sora fought all of Master Xehanort's forms and machinations. When it came to the last Mark of Mastery exam, Sora and Riku went into the Realm of Sleep to fully restore the worlds that did not recover from darkness completely. However, Master Xehanort hijacked the whole thing and almost made Sora one of the thirteen darknesses. Luckily, Lea, whom you have met a very long time ago, foiled the plan and saved Sora while helping Mickey and Riku escape from the twelve Xehanorts. Vanitas has taken up that role and what you see before you would have become of Sora should he have become a darkness." "Exactly," Vanitas replied. "Am I glad I was introduced to time travel and brought here to this day and age, I can now make you scream uncle you pathetic waste!" He then summoned his Void Gear and took stance. Ventus summoned Wayward Wind and got ready as well.   "As for you Ben!" Ronnie shouted at me. That made me turn to face him quite quickly as it made me jump a little. "I finally get to pay my debt to you. So, I want to hear it now. LET ME HEAR YOU CRY!" He then summoned his keyblade and took a stance similar to Vanitas. This keyblade was different from before as it was black and purple in color. The features on it were a bit terrifying and chilling. I knew its name without caring how or why I know: Black Oblivion. Unlike the keyblade Oblivion that Roxas had used, this one is darker in nature and holds more dark power that Oblivion did. In fact, the power Black Oblivion possessed made the Oblivion's power like child's play. I summon Ultimate Apocalypse and take stance. We paused for a second and then we charge at each other to our respective rivals. Ronnie was not easy and very tough. Every strike I made he would block with not much effort and just counter back with his strikes. My martial arts were much more valuable and I realized it will remain that way until this all ends. He fired Mega Dark Flare at me and I countered with Mega Flare. The collide of both was bright and dark at the same time as it was bright on my side and dark on his. I did not realize what that was, for as everything was clearing, Ronnie charged at me and put me on the defensive. He struck me across the face and punched me in the stomach as we fought. That tore it and I give him a side kick to the stomach to back him up a little. Then, I give him a jump back kick to knock him back a bunch. I quickly learn that it was a mistake as he lands like a ninja, charges up dark energy make his aura visibly, and then charges at me like a freight train. I put my keyblade in front of me in defense and brace myself like Aqua did in the Secret Episode of Birth by Sleep Final Mix. Ronnie struck me with his keyblade and sends me back flying and I land on the ground and roll backward. I am about twenty feet away from him after I stop rolling. I lie on the ground and look to where he is. He is laughing and looking down on me.   "Well, it looks like I paid you back properly," he said. "So much for your new power. So, I want to see it now. I want to see you cry! Let me hear it! It will be music for my ears before I destroy you once and for all!" I laid there hopeless and angry. What could I do? Keep fighting? He seemed to have become used to his power already. I have just discovered it and am trying to control it still. He would deflect and beat me back no matter what I used. Maybe crying was the best thing because I have no clue what to do. Suddenly, a voice screams at me.   "Come on Ben!" I heard. I turn my head and see Ventus locked with Vanitas key to key in a stalemate. "You can do it Ben! I know you can! You have become a keyblade master now! I believe you can do it and so do Terra and Aqua! We have faith in you to win!"Something clicked in me after he said that. That's right! I have become my ancestor reborn! He has been knocked down before, but he has always got up and won. Ventus, Terra, and Aqua believe in my ability to achieve victory; Ventus said so and even emphasized that I am a keyblade master. What shame would I bring to them if I lose. How could I look at them in the face ever again if I lost? Also, my family will be broken and shattered forever if I lost and were killed. I got up and a white aura surrounded me as I stood. Ventus cheered me on and put pressure on Vanitas in his fight turning the tables in his favor.   "So it seems you still want more punishment," Ronnie said to me with a smirk on his face. Then, it turned dark quickly. "Fine then! I will make you into a bloody pulp before you can blink!" He then charged at me and attacked. I knocked his attack away with enough power to expose him. I knock him into the air and with my ancient power, I strike him over and over again countless times. Ventus and Vanitas witness and the former looked with joy while the latter became infuriated and tried to make Ventus bleed by swinging his keyblade to his face and make a big cut there. Ventus turned it in his favor and began striking him with Ars Arcanum, but more powerful.Meanwhile, I strike Ronnie with incredible speed and power. He could not do anything, but take the punishment. After striking him for what seemed like forever, I strike his chest with my keyblade and like a meteor, drill him into the ground and upon landing create an explosion. Ventus finishes up with a very powerful strike that sends Vanitas flying to where Ronnie was. I come out of the explosion and stand next to Ventus in stance and wait while panting. Ronnie like a zombie is surrounded by his black aura and stands up, but his eyes instead of being a green brown are gold. Vanitas does the same thing and both of them were seething, while keeping a face that showed it and yet was not that ugly.   "Now you have done it," Ronnie said. "You have truly unlocked the dark power that I have held back. I will make you fall to darkness if it's that last thing I ever do." He then disappears into a dark corridor.   "I am not done with you yet," Vanitas said to Ventus. "I will tear you apart and kill your friends as well. You have not seen all of me and I will not let you forget the nightmare I will make you experience before your death." He too disappeared into a dark corridor. Ventus and I unsummon our keyblades and turn to each other.   "Awesome job out there! I knew you could do it," he said with a grin.   "Thanks. You did great too," I replied.   "Ven!" Said two voices. Ventus and I turn and look and see none other than Terra and Aqua. They come running to us as they clearly saw signs of the battle from afar.   "Are you okay? We saw and heard some explosions," Aqua asked.   "Yeah, I'm okay. Terra, Aqua, this is Ben. He's the one Sora told us all about," Ventus said. I was so happy to see Aqua and Terra that I was all choked up and a bit misty to see them.   "Nice to meet you Ben. It's great to finally meet you," Terra said. I hugged them both in joy.   "I cannot be more happy all of you guys are here and have been saved," I managed to say. They hugged me back and we released after a few seconds. Then, begin to walk to where Sora, Cid and the gang were. What I realized was this: my arch enemy has become stronger and is a stronger villain for all of us. It made me wonder, how does this affect my friends. Speaking of them, where are they?

Chapter 21: Dark Encounters   Shane walked through Traverse Town and found a few people here and there walking around. There were no opponents lurking anywhere and so it made things peaceful, yet boring for him. In District 1, he sits on the stairs going up to the shop and looks up at the stars. There is a full sky of stars and none blinked out. At least that's how it is currently before the events ahead unfold. As he gazed, he felt something make his knee itch. He scratched it and it went away. Then, he felt it again, but this time, something was touching him. He looks in front of him and there is Meow Wow acting the way he did in KH3D. Shane grinned and began to pet the dream eater.   "Hey there little guy!" Shane said. "Where did you come from? You're a cute little guy." Meow Wow squeaked like in KH3D and rolled around. It was pleasant for Shane to hang with the spirit. The triplets, Huey, Louie, and Dewey, came running up to him in haste and worry.   "Hey Shane!" Huey said. "There's trouble in District 5!"   "Yeah! People are saying there are monsters there and attacking them!" Louie followed.   "Ya gotta hurry! They're causing chaos!" Dewey concluded.   "I'm all over it!" Shane responded and disappeared into a light corridor. It brought him to the entrance to the district and when he looked up to the roof of the building, he saw glimpses of Nightmares all over. He hurried up to the top and found nightmares from Meow Wows, to Jestabockies and a few more types. Shane summoned his Keyblade, and with Meow Wow next to him, charged after the nightmares and attacked. It was not a breeze and the nightmares put up a challenge and he had to fight harder than usual. Then, to finish them off, he created a light orb and sent it up fifty feet into the sky. He then made it explode with brightness and blinded everything out. Once the light dimmed, all of the nightmares were destroyed. He was about to unsummon his keyblade when suddenly, a dark corridor appeared behind him and someone came out of it. Shane turned around immediately and standing a couple yards away is Young Xehanort. He looked exactly like in KH3D. Shane knew who he was thanks to studying the saga.   "So, it seems you have become used to your power," he said. "You learned of your destiny also. Since light gives way to darkness, it would be rather advantageous of us to take you in. Not as one of the thirteen, but merely another keyblade wielder to serve the darkness."   "I am not ever going to fall to darkness!" Shane shouted "I am the light to pierce through it! I don't let darkness touch me." Young Xehanort smirked at that statement.   "So did the one that preceded you," he replied. "Destiny cannot be rewritten. Events that are destined to happen cannot be changed and fate is written in the heart. However, it has never been stated when fate takes place." Then, three dark corridors appeared and three dark warriors came out with keyblade in hand. Once they came out, they took stance.   "Fate... can be sped up by will," Xehanort said and then he disappeared into a dark corridor. Shane was left alone with the three and he too took stance and both sides charged. Shane put his new power to use and managed to fight the three of them. It was tricky, but he knew what pattern to use and where to strike and what spells to use. Sparkga was very handy in this scenario since it covered a large area 360 degrees around him. It wore the enemies down some, but they countered with dark volleys. They dark orbs hit Shane over and over, even across his face. He already became worried because he saw a similar thing happen to his ancestor. He knew not to let it happen to him and went into final survive mode. After the opponents stopped the dark volleys, they charged at Shane and he in turn spun, with speed like Zantetsuken, around with keyblade out and slashed them across the middle of their bodies and went into a ninja like stance with key out. They screamed as a big gash was made in them and were killed. Shane stood up and looked at the ground and then at his key; it had blood on the entire blade. Shane panted some as he just thought about what happened; fate was knocking at the door and he had a dark encounter with it.----------------------------------------   Jack walked through Twilight Town and all was quiet. Nothing really happened and there was no activity was present. However, Hayner, Pence, and Olette were walking around and they were talking to each other. Then, Hayner noticed Jack and called out to him.   "Hey! Who are you? I haven't seen you around here." He said.   "I'm Jack." Jack replied "You must be Hayner, Pence, and Olette. I've heard of you guys before."   "It's nice to meet you," Pence said. "Hey! Why don't you come hang with us? You could play Struggle with us!"   "Yeah, but you won't beat me," Hayner said.   "I bet he probably will beat you!" Olette replied to his statement.   "Uh Struggle?" Jack asked.   "Yeah, we'll explain what it is to you. Meet us in the sandlot and I'll show you," Hayner said. Then, the three of them left for the sandlot. Jack thought he probably should not leave his duties for this, but then again, a few minutes could not hurt. He went to the sandlot and found the three of them there. The three of them explained the game and rules; Hayner demonstrated and then the game began. Hayner got 84 hits on the ball.   "Alright rookie, your turn," he said and handed Jack the bat.   "C'mon Jack! You can do it!" Olette cheered.   "You got this!" Pence followed. Jack began and it took him forever to stop. He just about doubled Hayner's score and got 163 hits. Olette and Pence were clapping and cheering while Hayner was flabbergasted.   "Wow! That was amazing! Your a professional!" Pence exclaimed. Hayner looked flabbergasted and was speechless; he did not only lose, he was crushed.   "Well, you really are the better player," he said and shook Jack's hand "you're much better than the previous guy that tried. He only got about ten less than me." Someone else played this before besides them?   "Do you know who this guy is or what he looks like?" Jack asked.   "Well, he did not say his name, but he looks a lot like you," Pence replied.   "He's at the mansion right now if you're curious," Olette said. Jack had chills right now; there is only one person that looks a lot like him.   "Thanks guys," he said and departed from there to the mansion. He somewhat ran to the mansion because had a bad feeling. When he got there, there was no one around and he walked to the middle of the yard to look around.   "So, have a good time struggling?" A voice asked him. Jack turns around and there is Nick, his dark fraternal twin.   "Interesting finding you here, brother," Jack said "you seemed to be bad at struggling according to them."   "Like I want to waste my time with that child's play," Nick replied "I have better things to do like making you pay. Unfortunately, your stupid friend there was too much of a headache to deal with and he threw me around the place."   "You tried to kill Ben?!" Jack screamed. He was getting angry now because Ben was a brother to him and he would not let anything or anyone harm him.   "Yeah, I tried, but he was too annoying and pulled a fast one on me right when I had him!" Nick shouted back and then a black aura started to surround him. Jack summoned his keyblade out of instinct and got ready for something bad.   "I thought that I could make you beg for mercy once he was gone, then kill your other doofus friend to break your heart and then, I finish you off myself! Yet, all of that was blown apart so it seems I have to cut to the chase." He then summons his keyblade: Unknown Darkness.   "Nick, I know there has been bad blood between us," Jack reasoned "but mom wanted you to not let darkness overtake you. It could destroy you and everything you have left. I ask you-" he raises his hand toward Nick with palm up "don't let darkness overtake you. You can replace it all with light."   "Heh, darkness won't destroy me. I have come to use it and control it," Nick said. "I know your fate and the only person that darkness will destroy is you... AND I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!!" He then charged at Jack and they both fought. It was just like Ventus against Vanitas in BbS. Only this time, it's brothers fighting. Jack pulled out his power that he discovered and started being aggressive towards Nick, but Nick was unyielding. Jack tried new spells such as Ice Storm and Hurricane and they impacted Nick enough to move him back, but he came back just as hard. They two eventually locked in stalemate and held it. Nick kicked Jack back and then wrapped Jack's arms around with like ropes made of darkness like Young Xehanort in KH3D. Jack was being pulled apart and darkness was slowly covering him. Nick laughed maniacally as he watched.   "It seems like I finally win," he mocked. "Now I can finish off your stupid friends, especially Ben!" Jack had a flashback, as he was being ensnared by the ropes, of his ancestors fate. He went into desperation mode and charged up light energy. He broke free of the bonds and performed Last Word on Nick. He was hit everywhere from the strikes and when Jack gave him the final blow, he was drilled into the ground and a huge explosion was made that all of Twilight Town could see it. Jack landed from floating from the attack and gasped for breath. Nick was still and unmoving for a while. Then, darkness surrounded him and he began to float and he laughed maniacally.   "This is going to be good!" He said "I can't wait until the Keyblade War to finally kill you!" Then, he disappeared into a dark corridor. Jack unsummoned his keyblade and left the world in a light corridor in anxiety especially since he just brushed across his fate.

Chapter 22: Covered with Black

Adrian walked through Disney Castle to see Mickey. He wanted to ask for any recommendations regarding the combat of any darkness. He also wanted to know if there is anything that could possibly change the outcomes of his and his friends' fates. He walks through hall after hall and finally comes upon the doors that lead to Mickey's office. He knocks and enters the room and finds Mickey there at his desk signing into place a new law for Disney Town. Mickey looks up from his work and sees Adrian walk in.

"Hiya Adrian!" Mickey says cheerfully. "I was just catching up on some royal affairs. I took a short break before I continue to fight Master Xehanort's minions."

"Hey Mickey," Adrian replied. "I was wondering if there was a way you could suggest to me and my friends a way to combat the darkness."

"Well, I can tell you one thing," Mickey said "it would be best to hit where it counts the most. If you can somehow come across any of the thirteen darknesses and weaken them, why you could help avoid a Keyblade War!'

"That sounds like a plan, but there is also something you need to know," Adrian said. He then went and closed the doors for privacy. Mickey in turn filed the paperwork away, put the quill into the holder and got up from his chair and gave Adrian full attention. Adrian explained his and his friends' fates and how they became what they are currently. He also explained the parallel history of Earth and the Realm of Light that has existed since before the Keyblade War. Mickey listened with utmost curiosity and when Adrian finished, Mickey was put in deep thought.

"Hmmm... so you and your friends are descendants of masters from long ago," Mickey said "and your world and this have intertwining history. Gosh, I guess that means what happens here, affects your world. I thought that the Magic Kingdom and all of Walt Disney World would be the place where both worlds touch only. It seems I was wrong. I am afraid that there is not much that could be done to avoid your fate. There is only one thing though: hold on to your friends and if you make them a part of your heart, then you came free yourself from any darkness." Adrian thanked him and bade farewell. Mickey though left the castle with Adrian because he wanted to get back onto the field and fight some more. Maybe find Riku and Kairi and team up with them. They went outside into the courtyard and Mickey transported through his star shard. Adrian disappeared into a light corridor and came out in the chapel in the Keyblade Graveyard. He wanted to see if there was anything else that could tip him off and help him. He looked more closely around at the walls to see if there was any extra writing that he missed or any buttons that could open up another room, but he found nothing. However, he did find something interesting about the altar with the four keyholes that he and the gang opened. He looked around the altar for writing, but found none so far. When he goes around to the back, he find a black tablet that had writing. It was encased into the altar. Adrian read what it said and he read the following: "Three lead to light; one leads to darkness. Fading light falling to shadow finds new life. Darkness encases, light pierces and renews. Light is strongest when darkness surrounds it". Four sentences, one line each. This made things not much better and it is best that Yen Sid tries to interpret. So, he leaves in a light corridor and puts it aside for the time being. He comes out at Prankster's Paradise and begins to look for any enemies. He walks through the park for only fifteen minutes when he is surrounded by Unversed.

"Hmph, go figure," he said to himself "Vanitas now decides to target me. I'll be more than happy to accept the challenge." He then summons his Elemental Master and charges after the Unversed. There were a number of them and a few bruisers were annoying to beat, but he managed. Mine spells were great and so was Zero Graviza. Adrian turned his keyblade into a rocket board and started charging and attacking the floating unversed. Unfortunately, more appeared and when he finished destroying a few, almost a dozen more showed up.

"Alright, I through messing around," he said. "No more Mr. Nice Guy!" He then charged his keyblade with light energy and then pointed it at the sky and shot that energy into the sky. A huge heart ring was created and grew wide enough to encircle all of the unversed and him. Suddenly, the ring glowed and a blast of light shot down from the ring and within and rained down on all. In a second or two, the light cleared and all unversed were destroyed. Adrian was about to unsummon his keyblade when he was ambushed by five dark warriors. They all went to attack by jumping up and coming down, but Adrian performed Galaxia Darkness on all of them. He was ready and aware of everything around him thanks to his years of martial arts, so the ambush was not really what it was called. The warriors were sent flying high after the lightning fast strike. Surprisingly, they took little time to regroup and individually went after Adrian. He used not only his skills of martial arts to fight all of them, his ancient power came in use. Mickey was long gone and not anywhere close by, but that was okay, Adrian knew what he was doing. It was difficult to fight five, but it was possible. Magic was handy and Wingblade was helpful as the five struggled. Suddenly, they all charged up dark energy and each fired a volley at Adrian. It entered into him like Xehanort's heart entering into Terra. The feel was shocking and he felt the darkness become a piece of his heart. He felt a weird sensation that words fail to describe. It was a bad one and he felt his mind starting to turn. However, he managed to garner light energy and expel that dark piece from his heart and returned to normal. He knew that it was time to end it immediately before things got out of hand even further, so he first threw his keyblade at one warrior and it went into this stomach and he bent over and was killed. Three more warriors charged and Adrian used Zantetsuken and killed the three of them. The last one was attacking from behind, but Adrian put his keyblade in reverse grip and stabbed backwards putting his blade through the middle of his body killing him. He pulled it out and saw blood covering the end completely and looked around to see five dead warriors. Right when that was not enough, a dark corridor appeared in front of him and no one other than Xemnas comes out of it. He looked liked he did in the KH3D opening scene in the CGI except his coat was black of course. He said nothing at first and merely looked around Adrian at the death that laid before him.

"My, my," he said "it seems you have not only sustained a power, but also learned to control it. What a gift you possess," he said. Adrian liked Xemnas in the games, but seeing him in the flesh made him rethink his liking because Kingdom Hearts 3 is real and he, his friends, and Earth are involved.

"Look, I know why you are here. I'm not that stupid," Adrian said. "I am only going to use it for light. I will not use it to harm or bring harm to anyone."

"What a shame," Xemnas replied. "And I thought we would become friends. What a pity. No worry, you'll become a friend of ours. Then, you'll enjoy our company always. You lack something though, a piece of your heart is missing." Then, he opens a dark corridor and disappears. Adrian stood there and finally unsummoned his keyblade. What does he mean a piece of his heart is missing? His heart is complete, whole, and fully developed. Adrian felt a little overwhelmed. Yes, he ran across the typical dark warriors, but he read something interesting in the chapel that did not make much sense and has bugged him a bit. However, that was not what troubled him. What troubled him was feeling what it was like for something dark and foreign enter his heart and try to change him. He felt his heart encased, entombed, covered with black.
