Skyace 65 75 Posted January 24, 2015 (edited) Just a random theory I came up with when thinking about the game and how the KH universe as we know it was created. So background info If you've played KH1 than you know about the scene with Kairi's grandmother. She's talking to Kairi and explaining the history of the world. Long ago everyone lived in peace but then people fought over the light. The world was destroyed but then rebuilt by the hearts of children into the world as it is today. WIth info from other games we can assume that the fight over light was the keyblade war where people fought to forge the Xblade. My theory. When the world was destroyed it was rebuilt by the 7 princesses of heart. But not as we know them now. Belle, sleeping beauty and everyone I believe we're different' people before the destruction of the world. When it was destroyed they rebuilt the world with their minds, drawing up memories of fairy tales and stories they had been told. Which is how we get all the radically different worlds, with animal people in some and gods in others. It's all stories the 7 princesses knew and when they rebuilt the world it was based on all of them, also inserting themselves into their favorite stories or places they dreamed about going to in Kari's case. Now what about the keyblade graveyard and the land of departure still being around? Well the keyblade graveyard would have been ground zero for the destruction of everything and i think the darkness destroying the world worked like a hurricane where you have an eye of the storm with nothing going on in it. And the land of departure would have already been half in darkness. So that's my theory. thoughts? Edited January 24, 2015 by Skyace
Psychic_Ketchup 367 Posted January 24, 2015 Good theory, but are you then saying that the seven princesses had heard of stories and fairy tales that did not involve a princess of light, e.g. Land of the Dragons or Olympus Coliseum? And how would you explain the existance of Traverse Town, Twilight Town and the World that Never Was?

And how would you explain the existance of Traverse Town, Twilight Town and the World that Never Was? yeah that's what I'm saying, they had heard stories for all the worlds, not just the ones they ended up in. The World that Never Was, was an artificial creation. It wasn't made with the new universe. Twilight town like the land of departure is right between dark and light so it's possible that it could have been from the original world and just survived like land of departure did because of it's position between light and dark. As for traverse town, that might be a world that people created. It's where everyone ends up if they survive the destruction of their world. People probably first came to it as an empty world and then built the town.

Though I still find it difficult to believe the Princesses were essentially the creators of all worlds; I mean, Maleficent and her gang had no real trouble kidnapping them and using them for their own benefit. Compared to other forces in the universe, Maleficent isn't all that powerful. So I guess somewhere along the way the Princesses lost their power.
