Square Enix has released their first PS2 Classic in Japan

Recommended Posts

Square Enix has released their first PS2 Classic in Japan. And it's none other than Grandia III, a role-playing video game developed by Game Arts and published by Square Enix.

Nice. Now if we could only get DG and DG2. So will this come to other countries?

What exactly does "PS2 Classic" mean? It can't just be a port, we all know SE has ported a lot of PS2 games the past couple years.

It's just something to call emulating PS2 games on PlayStation platforms.

I don't know what you mean.... why would they release a PS2 game in Japan? I thought this would be about The Bouncer.

See, Sony has this section on the Playstation Store on the ps3 dedicated to older games. They have PSone Classics and PS2 Classics. You can buy whatever they have available, which isn't THAT much, though the PSone classics have some really good ones, like all 3 Crash games, all 3 Spyro games, and a few others. So yeah, Square finally released a game for PS2 classics.
