KeyOfVentus 90 Posted August 3, 2010 My dad and brother had seen the comercals when I was younger and thought it looked cool seeing as we all love disney in my house. So they bought it and them I stole it from them. They haven't played a KH game in eight years. But I had gotten stuck and ended up selling it back to gamestop for credit. My parents oblivious to what games I had at the time got me KH 2 that christmas. So KH2 would be my first official game but I did own a KH1 a few years before hand, It's been uphill since that christmas.

Rob 5,571 Posted August 3, 2010 I always went by my cousins house on saturday to play games, then 1 saturday, I came over and he told me he got 2 games for a low price. He got Final Fantasy 10 and KH1. He asked me which 1 I wanted, I said Final Fantasy 10, and he said no, I wasnt going to give it to you anyway. So I had no choice but to play KH1. But I watched another cousin of mine play KH1 before, but I was still new to the game, and I didnt know the story.
Crimson 14 Posted August 3, 2010 When I was about 10 I saw a 3D hercules in a gaming magazine, and cause he was my fave disney character I wanted to get the game he was in so bad, but i didn't own a PS2... a couple of years later i spotted KH in a game store and thought 'hang on...is this the game i saw before?' i had forgotten all about it then lol, but i bought it and was addicted to it straight away. Soo long ago now though..must be like 6 years? wow

I liked it since it played like zelda ocarina of time and majora's mask
Keyblader 325 Posted August 3, 2010 a friend of mine recommended the game to me, so i went to best buy and bought the second one, didnt understand any of it, but liked it a whole bunch, the attitude roxas had was very appealing to me, sora how ever, proved otherwise

got it memorized 3 Posted August 4, 2010 i don't even remember how i heard of KH, but i think i got my parents to buy me a copy out of KB Toys back when the mall i go to had a KB Toys. it's been too long since then, though, (8 or 9 years, i think), so i may be slightly wrong. case in point, i got the game, and now, age 18, 3 weeks away from college, i'm still hooked to the game. if only SE would get on with the series, and not feel the need to make spin offs just to answer fan's questions. that's something Nomura can do himself. hatok 6,413 Posted August 4, 2010 Back when KH1 first came out, my sisters boyfriends friend was playing it at his house. That's when I first encountered KH. Over the eyars, I tried emulating Chain of Memories, but I was still pretty inexperienced with action games, and couldn't get past Atlantica. Years later, another one of my sister's roommate's gave me his old PS2. The first game I bought was KH2 (KH1 wasn't in stock) and I loved it. KH1 was never in stock, so the next game I bought was Re:Chain of Memories. Finally I got KH1, and just recently I found a used copy of Chain of Memories for the GBA. The first KH game I got on release was 38/2 Days.
Think Pink 1,967 Posted August 8, 2010 I heard about it because a few of my friends were obsessing over it. I looked up some videos on YouTube and went, "OMG!!! THIS IS SO FREAKING AWESOME!!!" Days was the first game I played, though, because I am not a gamer. This and things like Nintendogs are the only things I play, usually. So DS was all I had, and I played Days, and then all of the others, in order.
aubreyloveskh 16 Posted August 8, 2010 When I was 7 my little brother got it for either his birthday or christmas, i'm not sure which. Anyways, he was like 5 and obsessed with videogames (and still is) and my parent's got it for him because it looked like a good game to get him considering the disney characters. I hated videogames at that time because I was very girly when I was 7, but I started to watch my brother play it and I couldn't stop watching and I ended up loving it. I liked it way more than my brother did and I started to play it and I ended up being way better than him at playing it. He doesn't even like kingdom hearts that much, he is more into fighting nazi zombies now.
