Shulk 8,623 Posted January 12, 2015 I haven't had the game for a full month yet and still have to finish it, but I can say my main team: Nidhogg (Sceptile) Amp (Exploud) Volt (Electrike) Vesuvius (Camerupt) Dyna Blade (Skarmory) Melia (Sharpedo) Kind of a weird round-up I guess, but I like the team. The only one here I've ever used on a team is Sceptile, so the change was really nice. I'm considering making some sort of secondary team once I finish the game (No clue what it'd be used for), but the only Pokemon for that I've decided on is Feraligatr (My favorite). 1 Robbie the Wise reacted to this

Shulk 8,623 Posted January 12, 2015 I like the nicknames lol do you battle casually or competitively? Thanks! I'm more of a casual battler, but I've wanted to try and get into competitive play. It just seems really time-consuming. ._.

However there is nothing wrong with casual battling lol..
Shulk 8,623 Posted January 12, 2015 The payoff is worth is always worth it especially when you see your team succeed against veteran players. However there is nothing wrong with casual battling lol.. That's true. And I know there's nothing wrong with it, I just want to give it a shot. I've been playing the games ever since Silver, and knowing there's an entirely different side of the game I've never been able to experience has always kind of drawn me in. I just need to dedicate time to training.

President Yoshi 313 Posted January 12, 2015 first e4 right? crescendo (milotic) sceptile twigs (swellow) bancho (gallade)
BlankShell 638 Posted January 12, 2015 I won't even bother posting EV's because I'm such a lazy trainer in that regard. E4 run: Sceptile Aggron Altaria Walrein Exploud <insert filler here> I always have a hard time finding a final member, and this was no exception. I only just got back into it, too, so it needs some maintenance. Anyway, for Single/Super Single: Aggron (Adamant/Rock Head/Aggronite): Head Smash Iron Head Earthquake Brick Break A surprising MVP of my team; Mega Evolving is usually only a last resort (generally for facing ground or fighting types), and he just tanks everything else. Sceptile (Hasty/Overgrow/Sceptilite): Frenzy Plant/Leaf Storm Leaf Blade Dragon Claw Fury Cutter Probably a bit cheesy to have two mega stones, but Sceptile in general hits hard and fast; I don't usually like Mega Evolving Aggron, so this is backup. Exploud (Lonely/Soundproof/Leftovers): Boomburst Smelling Salts Thunder Fang Crunch Another surprising MVP; decent bulk and a good offensive movepool, which can be mixed when appropriate. Smelling Salts is probably changeable, but those moments when Thunder Fang Paralyzes and Smelling Salts doubles in power... priceless. Those are basically all I have usable at the moment. Altaria is good in Mega Form, but difficult to use outside of that due to mediocre stats (I do love my fluffy death machine, though). Walrein is fun, but somewhat specialized, so not a good partner in most situations. I'm currently finishing off my Pokedex and breeding at the moment; got a good Ralts in the making, and good prospects for a Bagon as well. They'll round out the team nicely. Still somewhat stuck on the last one; Azumarill would be a good fit, but I just hate Azumarill for no particular reason.
Jilly Shears 2,144 Posted January 12, 2015 I still need to breed a good Weedle so I can utilize the missile that is Mega Beedrill, but so far I've just imported my XY wifi team with a few minor touches: Audino (Hello, nurse!) w/ AudiniteNature: RelaxedAbility: Regenerator / Healer- Wish- Calm Mind- Draining Kiss- Heal BellGalvantula (Faraday) w/ Focus SashNature: TimidAbility: Swarm- Bug Buzz- Sticky Web- Volt Switch- Thunder WaveSteelix (Snaaaaake!!!) w/ LeftoversNature: ImpishAbility: Sturdy- Stealth Rock- Dragon Tail- Earthquake- CurseChatot (Pollyphony) w/ Life OrbNature: TimidAbility: Tangled Feet- Chatter- Boomburst- Nasty Plot- EncoreKrookodile (Kamina) w/ Lum Berry (may swap with M-Beedrill)Nature: AdamantAbility: Moxie- Knock Off- Earthquake- Thunder Fang (probably gonna replace with something later but we'll see)- OutrageGengar (Spookytown) w/ Black SludgeNature: ModestAbility: Levitate- Sludge Bomb- Will-O-Wisp- Substitute- Hex and then if I decide to use Beedrill, it'll probably run Drill Run, Poison Jab, X-Scissor or U-turn, and either Protect or Fell Stinger. 1 Robbie the Wise reacted to this
