His Heart simply showed him memories/ images that he wouldn't have been able to recall otherwise. The mind will always forget things, but the Heart still holds on.... Why I'am..."Because Sora himself doesn't understand that he is harboring the others but he still feels their pain. This was the entire point of putting Sora into the nightmare. The Organization knew that Sora would chase the memories and feelings that were not his own and in doing so he abandoned his sense of self.
