Bill Farmer is a professional voice actor, I can hardly believe that he is providing his voice to something without knowing what it is. But, there is also no way kh3 will be released this year. I've been mulling this over and have come to what I believe to be the most rational conclusion. He mixed up kh3 with kh3d. They sound similar. This would make sense considering that Nomura wants the series on one console and 3d is the only one yet to be brought to the PS3. Considering the fact that kh3 is probably a year or two away it makes more sense that they are remastering 3d and he is providing additional voice work for that. Now of course I could be wrong so I'm not taking much stock in this as its only a guess, but that's the best answer I can come up with.
